I need to know something now that I see everyone's rank reset and SWs having differences based on types. -If I am Beginner and ALREADY have a BakuNano or something from before I still get to use them normally, right? -We do not need to modify our current SWs according to the differences that are going to be implemented, do we? -If answer to the upper one is 'no' and we evolve our SW does our new evolved SW need to abide by these difference-rules or not? I assume yes, but just need to be sure. 1. That can't be possible if you don't know the format for BakuNano, so no, you can't. 2. They won't matter now. They'll become unusable. 3. You should piece that one together by what I said for your second question.

I should be working on suggestions, but rather questioning.
1. Are you going to make special rules about Bakugans? I have a feeling like we are going to be using Battle Net's system and if I'm not mistaken Bakugans there are not OP as here; they start off with I think 500 G (?). I wouldn't mind that. We'd need something like it.
[Suggestions maybe]
1. Should we implement power-limits? I don't think that someone should be able to make a weak Bakugan with 0 G-power and then lift his power to whooping billions. I mean brawlers in anime couldn't go too far from their base powers and lifting up powers by 500 Gs was considered as OP. However, if you think we shouldn't put these limits I'm fine with it since it doesn't make much difference to me, personally. I understand some special Bakugans like Apollonir being OP. E.g. he could maybe have 3000 G base power or something, but a brand new Bakugan being OP is ridiculous. It would be like all Resistors fight a noob with a Serpenoid and Serpenoid kicks their asses with three billion G. Either maybe adding a limit to it or making penalties for going too high.
That's all I got.

I'm not sure where I'm going to start things off when it comes to the starting power levels, but it will be reasonable. Power-limits is something I will not be implementing though.

I think if there were certain abilities or restrictions on effects that one couldn't use against a brawler below his rank for example then it could solve the OP problem. I'm sure whatever you come up with will be genius though.

I'm going to a new topic. I have finally updated my Raid and World Boss system.
Would it be an issue if I implemented it as something unofficial? I don't think there are enough mods/admins that could maintain it as something official and I originally stopped because of lack of people.
I would naturally give $ and other prizes for kicking Raid's ass. For World Boss I would give more serious rewards. I can do it all by myself as an activity for some extra rewards.
If you have nothing against it I'd implement it on the side. Perhaps Baalenoid might be a World Boss. If you need the system explained or something I got it aside.
Shooting skills
This might be too early to ask. I don't know. Are we going to be able to devise our own shooting skills or they will be set?

So, are we still going with our battle system or season 1 system? Also, I'd suggest we all create new profiles to ease adaptation to the adjustments.

I believe it's obvious which direction we're taking regarding everything I've posted thus far. I will not implement the season 1 system until further notice.

Ok, I don't think I am going back over things that were already suggested but if I am, let me know please.
I have really enjoyed reading over all of this because many of the suggestions remind me so much of the Battle Net site that I loved but that got so little love at the time. There are a couple of things I have always wanted to see though.
1) Accuracy: This may be difficult to impossible to implement without someone constantly monitoring and running numbers on battles but it is something I have always wanted to see. A bakugan is not always going to hit for the full damage that was intended, whether this is from a lack of ability, or just a miss, a bakugan is not always 100% accurate. It seems like we could throw a little bit of chance with a random number generator and percentages that would determine whether an attack actually hit.
2) Fatigue: Running right along side the first one, I think the abilities used at a time should be limited by the stamina or maybe speed of the bakugan. And yes, I am getting into adding a lot of new aspects to the bakugan themselves on the forum, but in order to make the whole experience more than just throwing ability after ability it only makes sense to me to have more information in the technical strengths and weaknesses of the bakugan.
3) Bonds: This would be the bond between the battler and his bakugan. Depending on the quality of the roleplay, the battler would be able to increase the strength and ability of his partner just based on the bond between them. This could counteract the effects of fatigue or accuracy simply by staying "in sync".
Anyway, these are just some thoughts I have had for quite awhile but never voiced them. It isn't a big deal to me whether you take it or leave it because so uch good stuff seems to be going into place, I just feel like it would be more realistic.

It's very iffy and may need a lot of rules to it but if one bakugan and brawler achieved a certain requirement, they can access a Baku Mega Evolution.

Okay, Damian is soon going to post things related to profiles. I'd like everyone who can to give their share of ideas for this.
This is how I've seen other sites work + content from our site.
Name: Nothing much to talk about. No inappropriate or nonsensical names. I'd define 'mike123' as a nonsensical name. And we all pretty much know what should be defined as 'inappropriate'.
Race: This is something new I'm thinking of. Perhaps we could implement something as 'race', but we know that lots of people want something like a race of their own, so I'm reaching to a negative side for this, but whatever floats your boat.
Age: This should be pretty simple. If your character is a human I think your profile shouldn't be approved if you set '300 years' as age.
Gender: Male/Female/Undisclosed. If by any chance character is a machine or something 'no gender' could be an option. Just saying.
Orientation: I personally don't think this is too important on kids' sites, but many of us aren't exactly kids and I see lots of sites implementing 'sexual orientation' section. I don't care if it gets approved or not since all my characters are either heterosexual or asexual.
PERSONALITY Standing as it is now it is pretty vague. No one's personality can be just pinpointed with one word like it is now. I think this section should be split into multiple sections.
Positive Traits: (minimum 5) Name minimum 5 positive traits about the character. Negative Traits: (minimum 5) Same, but with negative. Likes: (minimum 5) Name minimum 5 things your character likes/loves. Dislikes: (minimum 5) Same but with dislikes/hates. Weaknesses: (minimum 5) Your character's weaknesses. Strengths: (minimum 5) Your character's strengths.
OR Simply put 'Personality' section, but delete choices and make it a free section. However, we should add some directions, so people get the idea. Like 'how does your character act in people they like, how do they act in frustrating situations' etc. Add several directions, so people know what to write. Also, put a minimum word count. Maybe 100-200 words? I don't know, decide on it.
Appearance Okay, this section should be split as previous one.
Hair length: [long/short/bald] (choice) Hair color: Eye color: Height: Weight: Body type: (choice) Other: [tattoos, birthmarks, piercings and similar things go here]
OR Leave 'Appearance' section, BUT person must describe their character in details from let's say 100-200 words maybe (minimum 100-200). Also, we should give them lots of directions like 'character's hair color and length, weight and height' etc. So, it should be pretty much the same. This second way just gives more freedom. Also, a picture of character would be AMAZING. It would make it easier. Since we don't practice FACE CLAIM things several people can use same avatar.
Background thing is misunderstood by a tiny percentage of newbies. Some actually write things like 'blue' in it. Perhaps it COULD be changed to 'Character's Story' or 'History'. Also minimum should be maybe 200 words or so.
ALL this must make sense. Your age can't be like 321 years while you're human or something. Perhaps, you should have a piece of story explaining why you're 321 years old. Some curse? And you couldn't just write anything into personality. It could make it hard for roleplays. Also, appearance can't be like 'he has 4 hands' or whatever without explanation.
Sections 'Personality' and 'Appearance' can be either replaced by those mini-sections or simply request from brawlers to add certain amount of words and give them directions on what to add. For the rest as 'attribute', 'bakugan' and things like that I think it can stay the same unless someone has something to say about it.
It's midnight, so I might have left something out or didn't write it to make sense, so if you want to know or suggest anything please do.

I like how this is. I believe this site is mature enough for orientations (I'd like to make some homosexual and pansexuals if you don't mind~)
Oh, should we have a spot for attribute, guardian bakugan and all that fun stuff?

This might be a little extreme, but something I've just seen made me write this.
We have way too many profiles that are written in a very vague way and whose owners have never re-visited the site. Perhaps we should delete those...I have nothing better to do, but I can't delete threads. I could only link them somewhere so admins can trash them.
Also, since we now demand profile creation to be satisfactory for approval how about we put a time limit? If profile is not fixed within time limit profile is going to be deleted. That would prevent the mess that is created by masses of people who don't intend to stay. I don't know, something I just saw caused me to think this way.
EDIT: I remembered something else
Do you want me to make a 'Guide profile' like there is one with Skull Shinigami and the other guy whose name I can't remember? We do need a new one. Perhaps Noland's would be more appropriate at the time, but I can do it anyways.
EDIT 2: Tehrag reminded me of a thing I mentioned, but was not implemented. I think Profiles should be on the higher level than Bakupacks. On other sites it is always 'Character Profile > Inventory', so if you don't have a Profile you can't have inventory (in our case Bakupacks) or do anything else like creating items, roleplaying, participating in events.
It is like when you want to play an online game. You need username, password, email etc. Basically, you need your 'identity' in the game or you cannot play at all. Profiles here are your 'identity' on the site, so if one does not create Profile they cannot do anything else here.
Fine if you don't want it, but other sites do it a lot, so I mentioned.

One question.
Aren't we supposed to receive a free SW as well when creating Profile? Did I miss something?
