I know. You're sick of me by now after posting a second update this weekend, but we need to address some things.
There are a couple of things I want to buff/nerf that will be effective immediately. Any brawl started after this message will NEED to abide by what I say here.
Before I mention what I'm buffing/nerfing, I want to announce that the 100HSP experiment I introduced will become a permanent thing. From now on, you will start each brawl with 100HSP.
Forbidden Cards and Banned Bakugan will be made available soon. Please do not complain to me that they are overpowered. I know they are overpowered. I'm not introducing anything that is obscenely unfair. That's why I came out of retirement. I wanted to put myself in your position to see what was right and what was wrong.
Speaking of which, I battled against someone who is arguably the strongest brawler here currently, and I have caught onto some things that are very wrong. I'm not going to simply tell you what I'm going to do about it. I want to tell you why I'm doing it as well.
First, I will be making the summoning/cloning of extra Support Weapons a banned effect, like I said I was going to do on the last update. Even though I expressed my earnest plea for people not to do this, Darkness trolled me and used it against me anyway(I will have my vengeance). Don't worry. He's not in trouble for doing it. In fact, I'm glad he did it, so glad that I'm going to reward him later. Now, we can fully understand what is wrong with that tactic.
The main issue we're running into is that we're in a different environment. Support Weapons aren't as generic as they were in the past. Each one functions differently. Some can use effects that will not count towards the limits while others aren't so lucky. You could have someone swarm the field with Battle Gear while the other person does the same with their Bakugan Traps; however, despite the apparent difference in power levels, the person with the Battle Gear has the undeniable advantage, because their Battle Gear will not abide by the limits like the Bakugan Traps have to do. That is one of many examples of why this cannot be done.
The fact that all of them have different advantages and disadvantages makes things incredibly difficult to control in terms of balance, and it immediately devalues the Ultimate Formations. All of them are good for certain situations. You should have to pick one and commit to that particular Support Weapon. No one should have to be careful knowing that they're walking into the lion's den where a Battle Gear with a counter effect is just around the corner when Bakugan Traps are more restricted.
Interesting how I bring up Bakugan Traps, because I believe Battle Gear and BakuNano are overpowered when paired up with them. For that reason, I will buff the Bakugan Trap.
From now on, the card class of a Bakugan Trap ability will not be considered, meaning that you will not count their abilities towards the card class limits. If you want to spam red-class nukes, have at it.
BakuNano needs to be nerfed. You may not have a loop effect on a BakuNano Level 1 or 2 ability. You may only apply it to a Level 3 ability. This is being done because BakuNano are overpowered compared to the Battle Gear with that effect in there.
Battle Gear needs to be nerfed as well. The loop effect can only be applied to a Level 2 or 3 ability.
Before Battle Suits hit the scene, I'm going to tell you this very clearly. DO NOT use that loop effect with Battle Suits when they get upgraded. Thank you.
Here are a couple of more things before I sign off.
I changed my mind about the Banned Bakugan and Cards. I will not make them available until the weekend is over. I don't want them being used yet, especially when one of them lets you bypass an evolution entirely.
We shouldn't have gotten to this point, but I realized that I already banned the summoning of extra Support Weapons in a way. You're not even allowed to control more than one of the same type of Support Weapon.
I always thought this was a weird ruling, but I'm going to get rid of it now. Let's say you have a Support Weapon out on the field, and the attribute of your Bakugan gets changed. That Support Weapon no longer gets sent back automatically for the mismatch in attributes. The attribute change has to be done before the Support Weapon comes in.
New Special Shooting Skills are coming.
...Raid Bosses...? Some of them being Bakugan from the plot and/or the Banned Bakugan...? Maybe...?
Elpresador is comedic gold. You should watch his rage videos and montages.
That is all, folks.
