"...But all of that matters to me equally, including your feelings...especially yours," Tonya replied. "You know I've been concerned about you all ever since I heard about you running into Barodius... That's one thing I've always tried to prevent, and I couldn't even do that right..."
"I know it's easy to blame yourself right now, but don't. Your sons were and still are strong enough to handle what gets thrown at them," Drago spoke up. "Ever since that battle, they've never tried to look to anyone to feel sorry for them. They've always fought to be better. You and Vince raised them well. I can promise you that."
"...I understand, Drago..." she smiled. "I just want to know if there's anything you and Kendrick want me to do going forward to show that I'm not as bad as those events made me out to be...?"

"I don't really need to see anything special from you. I know you're not a bad person or anything like that. I believe that your heart was always in the right place with us," Noland shared.
"We just need to have a family discussion to repair the broken bonds, or the lack thereof. Remember, Kendrick doesn't have any memories with you, so all he might see is someone who ruined everything. I'm not saying you did, but...you know."
Noland's BrawlX rumbled with an incoming message. Noland looked on the device to see what it was. From whatever he read, he nodded in approval of it. "We're about to have the said discussion in about thirty seconds," Noland confirmed. "But, before that - regardless of what happens out of this - I'm glad you're okay, and I don't hold any of this against you."

Kendrick came into Tonya's office with Emperor Barodius right behind him. He had a plain look on his face that was devoid of any emotion. He stopped a couple of feet away from his mother and took a deep breath.
"...I understand now..." Kendrick started to accept. "I guess so much has happened that any excuse you gave wouldn't cut it for me. You tried your hardest...and I made you feel like you were nothing but trouble. I'm sorry..."
"And, I'll also apologize to Siege again as well. He didn't deserve my outburst. He was only trying to help..."

Tonya's face was frozen in shock. It looked like she expected Kendrick to barge into the office and remind her about her failures once again. This apologetic side of him really shook her to the core. She wanted to cry right now. The only thing holding her back was that all three of her children were staring into her soul. It was a nervous sight to behold.
She rose from her chair to formally greet her son. She cleared her throat before speaking. Voice cracks weren't the best for people in her position of power on Gundalia anyway.
"Whew..." she sighed. "You all have no idea how good that made me feel... Thank you..."
"Now that we're all together, I want to make it clear that regardless of what happened with your fathers, I love all of you equally. It doesn't matter what one civilization thinks of another. Human or Gundalian, we're all family. I hope that there's some way we can move past this together..."

"I have an idea then," the Emperor spoke up. "The three of you should get together some time. Obviously, not now, considering they have to get going soon. Just being with each other to just catch up with what has happened since you were gone could help rebuild your relationship. I won't speak about what specific activity you would do, but it should be something meaningful to all three of you."
"Paid time away, of course," Dharak added in.
"Absolutely," the Emperor agreed. "We'll figure this out. Maybe not immediately, but at some point. I'll help in any way I can."

"..." Kendrick didn't turn his eyes away from Mom, but he was thinking about some ideas in particular...
"Hello?" Wavern called to him through telepathy.
"Wavern?" Kendrick said in his head.
"Sorry to interrupt, but just to let you and Noland know, everyone has been transported back to Earth safely except for you two and Nero. I see that you've found your mother, so I won't send you back until you're finished here. Just say my name whenever you're ready," Wavern instructed.
"Okay," Kendrick accepted. He looked at Noland to see if he heard everything. Noland nodded his head in acknowledgement of the command.
But, back to the ideas that Kendrick had, what if she could learn all about Noland's exploits? What if she could see Kendrick fight? What if...they could see Noland and the Emperor fight...?
The latter idea crept into Kendrick's mind out of nowhere. It was not an immediate thought, but it was one nonetheless. Kendrick's just very analytic and loves watching other people brawl. He wondered if Mom was that way when Dad was a pro...
"Would you like to come back to Earth sometime?" Kendrick proposed to Mom. "There's a lot of cool stories we'd like to tell you. Noland and I got really strong, and we made a lot of friends. And...Nero was a villain."

"Nero?" Tonya repeated with a lot of confusion. It sounded like she was supposed to know who that was.
"Andrew," Drago clarified.
"Oh really?" Tonya said with a hint of, 'He's gonna die when I see him.' "Well then, kiddo, I'd be honored to hear about everything you all did. I'd love to see how strong you are too, but just as long as you're being safe with it. No fighting terrorists or whoever your Father was dealing with while I'm there or you'll be in a lot of trouble."
"Ha! Yep, you haven't changed a bit," Drago laughed.
"Mhm," she agreed.

The trio was getting ready to leave Gundalia through Drago's power. He was looking through Hades' insides and was able to diagnose the issue with it's dimensional equipment. It killed enough time so he could finally go back home and relax from all of the bullshit he's been through.
"As much as I tried to stay out of that discussion, my name comes up anyway? I can't win anywhere, can I?" Andrew remarked upon hearing what was told to Tonya. "Whoever said that, you'll be hearing from me later. I thought we agreed not to talk about it."
"Sure thing, Nero," Krakix brushed off.
"And that name! For the last time, stop calling me that!" Andrew sternly commanded.

"..." Noland lightly smiled and shook his head at the notion of calling this man Andrew. As far as anyone there was concerned, his name will ALWAYS be Nero.
Noland turned to his newfound brother to give his departing words. He felt like he hasn't said anything to the Emperor ever since Mom appeared.
"Hey...about your father and stepmother..." Noland started off. "...If they meant anything to you, I'm sorry. Here we are celebrating finding out where Mom is at and didn't bother to see how you were doing."

"...This would sound a lot worse in human culture, but from the perspective of an Emperor's son, the only bond that was there was a tyrant and his servant," the Emperor claimed. "In that way, you're really apologizing for setting me free. I'd rather my brother not do that, because I take pride in knowing it was a family member that did it."
Dharak nodded in agreement with what the Emperor was saying. Words couldn't express the feeling of admiration that everyone has for these gentlemen for saving two civilizations by killing one man.
But a small token of appreciation just might.
The Emperor took out an indigo-colored key and placed it into Noland's right hand. "Emperors usually give lavish gifts to those with outstanding service in the army, which made it a very popular profession here. I am very lenient with that established pattern, so with me giving this to you, know that I mean it with every inch of my being. You'll always have my thanks, brother, no matter what."
"That's a key for the living quarters of the late Empress," Dharak revealed.

Noland eyed this gift with extreme shock. While the reality of the situation hadn't hit him completely yet, he did realize that he essentially has a place inside of Gundalia's castle now.
He didn't need it, but rejecting a gift from an Emperor may get him in trouble. Also, it sounds like this is special for the Emperor to do, so Noland wouldn't want to deny him that.
"...I'm speechless..." Noland responded with honesty.
"Of course. That's one of the most valuable items on the planet," Dharak understood.
"Are you sure? We only just found out about all of this..." Drago tried to reason.
"The people demand it. We joyously agreed," Dharak revealed.
"The people...?" Drago pondered.
"...I'm honored," Noland accepted. "I'll keep it close."

"I'm glad," the Emperor expressed with a nod. "I only want you and Kendrick using the space for right now though. It's more of a rules and regulations thing than a lack of trust for certain people. I trust you to do well by that."
"Of course, I'd love to meet the allies that I've heard about from that battle and give them my thanks as well. Don't worry. I won't lock them up." The Emperor said the last statement in a joking fashion. He wasn't above making fun of what he was doing previously. Even though he had some issues with trust on people coming to Gundalia, he could see how ridiculous it was.
"You need our help, you know where to find us."

"Mhm. We're all allies here," Tonya agreed. "Or, if you don't need help at all and just want to chat, or if you want to learn more about your abilities as Gundalians, we're here. Always will be."
Tonya hugged both of her sons tightly before letting them go back home. She almost didn't want to let go. It was a motherly thing.
When she personally addressed Andrew, she took a surprising turn from how she sounded earlier.
"Whatever happened with you being a villain, don't worry about it," Tonya suggested. "You're here now, so please, take care of my boys please. Vince trusted you to do that for him. So do I."

Andrew took a deep breath after hearing that. The past weighed heavy on him, more than anyone else knows. Still, people expected him to stay strong and to do what he can do for people NOW regardless of what happened before. He can and will fulfill that duty, but...for how long now that he knows he can go back to how he was with the main perpetrator of those events lingering around...?
Even with those thoughts being in his mind, he still gave Tonya a light smile, and nodded. "I will," he said. "It's good to see you again, Tonya. Take care."

Indeed, that was a happy ending; however, someone would not be very happy about it in a second...
In one of the living quarters inside of the castle, a Gundalian warrior knocked on a door. She had to do this a few times before the door finally opened, showing a groggy Kianna, the Emperor's 'right hand' from before.
"Um...are you okay?" the warrior asked.
"I'm fine. Just trying to make some sense out of this Killian situation," Kianna said. "What's troubling you? You're scared of something..."
"...Well...um..." The warrior took out a photo, gave it to Kianna, and ran.
"What in the world is going on he-" Kianna wondered before looking at the photo. It was the Redeemer. He came back, and no one told her anything about it.
She burst into Tonya's office where Tonya and the Emperor were having a conversation. She had a very angry look on her face.
