"Excuse me for being rude, but...is there a way we can authenticate what we're hearing? I don't want it to sound like I don't believe Darius and Vladitor, but...this is a very serious claim," Skystar expressed. "I just want to make sure he's not one of those evil people. Again, not trying to sound disrespectful, but he DID come from the Doom Dimension where he was banished. I'm assuming it was by proxy, but...I don't really know who they are..."
"Skystar has a point..." Tracy spoke up. "Darius, is there anything you can do to prove that you're on our side? Not that I don't believe you, but it would put my mind at ease."

"Hm...I'll try to think of something," Darius assured her. "Vladitor, what do you think?"
"One of you is harboring the soul of that accursed fiend, Orloth," Vladitor recognizes. "I'd ask you to bring him to me, but...you need authentication of what we're saying. Look at our soul memory. You have our consent."
"Great idea! Let's do that!" Darius agreed. "Then, we can have a chat with Orloth and torture him until he gives up the information we want!"

Allen was still confused about the whole subject. He grasped the basic idea of Noland and Alana bieng possesed by ancient biengs, but thats about as far as his understanding goes. And of course Vladitor makes it a million times worse bringing up someone named Ortloth." Like we would even know who has Orloth." He whispered under his breath. His intention was for only him to hear, but honestly with how wierd everything is right now, he may have been louder than intended.
Things only got wierder once Vladitor mentioned soul memory. He acted like it was just a casual thing." Yeah, soul memory, just gotta check that. That'll be real simple. Just...gotta..." Allen carried on. He racked his brain for any idea on how to do what was requested. Unfortunately, if he did know at one point, that imformation was lost to him now." Gorem, you know more than i do. How do you check that thing he said?"
" i have no clue. First i think i've heard of soul memory. Markus, you do wierd soul junk, right? Then you gotta kmow how to do that."

"..." A whole lot just got thrown at Noland all at once, and there wasn't anything he could say that could convey just how out of the loop he was. He basically just got told that he was technically apart of whatever organization this was by proxy. Was Vince one too? Are any of their lives their own?
"So...let me make something clear right now, young man," Noland started. "I'm getting attached to you. I'm getting used to you being around. I'm getting used to being your father, and I really enjoy that feeling that you're mine, but... If I find out that you either lied or are planning something insidious, I'm gonna kill you."

"What!?" Alana gasped. She turned to Noland to give him 'the look.' "I think you'll be doing none of that, Mister! He's my son too. So what's going to happen when you have a child later on? You're going to kill them too if they do something they're not supposed to do!?"
"Oh no... You done did it..." Hydranoid groaned. "Kid, we're gonna be here all night. Gargulion, do your thing so I don't have to sit through this longer than I have to."

"Did you not hear what he said, Alana!? The people with his powers are descended from the Tribunal! He was banished to the same place as Betadron and Fury of all Bakugan! They were put there for a reason!" Noland retorted. "If it turns out that he's lying about ANYTHING he said about who is in our bodies, how these people are coming back, and how they COULD appear in any of us in this room, what do you think a child with the ability to blow us up in an instant will do after we've been led astray? What if this is all a hoax made to make us look like fucking idiots while the Tribunal continues infesting the Silver Knights, Eden, and possibly the government?"
"This could be the beginning of us getting eradicated, and your response is to make it look like this is some ordinary situation of a kid potentially screwing up? This is much bigger than that, and you know it!"

"Hey, hey, hey! Both of you, shut up!" Tank ordered as he shoved himself in between Noland and Alana. "Trust me. We want answers just as much as you do. If we thought he was going to lie to us, then we were all idiots to accept him when the Doom Dimension dropped him off here. We can't trust the Silver Knights or Eden to tell us the truth, and we sure as hell can't trust the government to be honest about anything. If this kid wants to pour all of this on us now, then so be it. No one else is gonna open their mouths, so this is the best we got."
Tank then pointed to Markus who he knew had possession of this guy's soul. "Do whatever you got to do," Tank told Markus.

Markus took a deep breath. It got kinda explosive for a second, so...he was only hoping that Darius told the truth even though the truth will hurt really bad...
"Gargulion, let's do it," Markus signaled. He laid hands on Darius' forehead, and Gargulion placed a hand on Markus' shoulder. Gargulion was now beginning to let Markus live through things that Darius has personally been through.
It was an unknown year, but there was a clear indication of the exact event Markus was looking at. He saw a large boat. There were plenty of humans, animals, and even Bakugan in their ball forms being permitted to board. There was an old man personally overseeing who got in and who didn't. Darius was with two people - both of which resembled Noland and Alana - who attempted to board, but when they got there:
"My apologies...but...I can't let you in..." the man regretted. "I know you're not like them, but...you have similar powers...and I was given very specific instructions to not allow you to board, or else we'd all be consumed by this flood."
"So...that's really how it's gonna be, then? I help that Dragonoid, I betray my own people, I KILL my own people...and I really must share their fate?" 'Noland' genuinely wondered.
"If I could bend the rules, I would. I'd take all of the ones on board out just to have you. YOU are the reason why we still live," the man stated. "There are no words to describe how much I disagree, but...the rules are rules. They know that your spiritual power is strong enough to resurface in your descendants generations later. This Ark is only intended for us to have a clean slate without anyone having supernatural abilities. I'm sorry."
"Damn gods!" 'Noland' cursed before storming off. His wife was in pursuit with Darius in her arms.
"Dear," 'Alana' called. "...It's okay... We've done the best we could."
"...You know...it's not that we're about to be banished... Darius shares our fate by blood, not through action," 'Noland' said. "We don't know if life will carry on as normal where we're going. Will we all be together? Will we be near the ones we have betrayed? Will someone want to exact vengeance upon our son for what I did?"
"Those are all things that we can't control," 'Alana' shrugged. "But...what we do know is that our son isn't a weakling who can't fend for himself. He's got a strong partner with him, and he knows how to use the power your great-grandfather passed down to you, so he'll be fine."
"How could you be so relaxed at the thought of us not being able to see our son for ages upon ages?" 'Noland' complained. "We are at the twilight of our existence here, and you seem content with all of that. Why?"
"Because there's nothing else we can do to stop them," 'Alana' summed up. "It's over... If we have to face the Tribunal over siding against them, then it is what it is. We knew the potential consequences when we allied with the humans, and even then, WE made a DIFFERENCE. Whenever it was time for us to go, I was content that we did the right thing, and I still do. THAT is why I'm okay."
"...But...our child... He doesn't deserve this..." 'Noland' began to cry.
"No...he doesn't..." a familiar sounding voice agreed.
"...You...! You said we would be spared! You said that this would never happen to us!" 'Noland' shouted. "After we sacrifice everything, YOU betrayed us!?"
"I haven't forgotten what you did for me, Demaryius and Nyla, the most influential humans in all of history," the Dragonoid told them as a giant wave of water threatened to crash down on the Earth. "That's why...I will promise you that there will come a day in the future when you'll reunite with your son, and you all will work together to bring an end to the Tribunal regime for good. To that end, I will make sure your son will never age within his sealing so that he will be able to make his own decisions when it's time to get out." As this was said, the wave of water flooded the Earth for 40 days and 40 nights...

"...You...saw Noah and his Ark..." Markus said with astonishment. "From what it sounded like, it was right after a war of some kind...and Genesis Dragonoid promised you and your parents that you'd come together in the future..."
"..." Gargulion was speechless. He couldn't offer any comments to what this kid must've endured being sealed for thousands - maybe millions if historical records are inaccurate - of years...
"...He's legit, guys," Markus notified them.

"The First Universal War is what it was," Vladitor labeled it. "And so, as you saw, Darius' parents were not in good standing with the Tribunal after their treasonous actions. Now that the Tribunal has been reawakened, they're most likely trying to figure out who Demaryius and Nyla are so that they can be sentenced to death. Noland and Alana were perfect candidates for them to inhabit since they not only embodied their thoughts and actions, but that they also had the sufficient power that's necessary to fight the Tribunal if it comes to that."
"Now that you know this, I'm gonna tell you why this is being brought up now. You've been complaining about the Silver Knights and Eden acting funny and putting their noses where they don't belong. You, as Resistors, carry the same distinction in this society that Darius' parents did. One of you carrying an Achron item is only an excuse to distract you from the fact that the Tribunal wants to know if Demaryius and Nyla exist within you. That's all this has ever been, and you - being the concerned type - took a DNA test that people in the federal government - who we've established can be working for the Tribunal - now know about."

"And you've been seen out in public with Alana and I," Noland facepalmed. "Jesus Christ. We're screwed."
"Are you implying that whoever is giving the order to the Angels to stalk Noland is a Tribunal member?" Drago questioned.
"I'm not gonna imply. I'm gonna flat out say it. This is Tribunal agenda," Vladitor confidently stated.
"So...breaking up with Petra...that's not going to do anything, is it?" Noland wondered. "Look...Darius...I apologize for threatening you, but this... This changes EVERYTHING. Out of everyone here, you're the one being screwed over, and - for the first time in a long time - I have no idea what to do about it."

"Then let's think about what we can do to keep Darius safe then," Seiki suggested. "You just said it, Noland. Darius is the one getting the worst luck out of any of us, and you and Alana are his parents. The best way to get out of this is to consider what you need to do to get him taken care of."
"Call me crazy, but we should pull up on those Angels. All seven of us," Ahio suggested. "I don't know them too well, but from what I'm hearing, they're sickening, they're creepy, and they don't care. We don't have to fight them or anything like that, but we can't let them know that we like getting stalked by complaining and doing nothing about it."
"...As strange as it is coming from the two of us...I think it's about that time..." Seiki had to admit. "They already think that Noland and Alana are a lot closer than they appear, so...the only thing we have to lose is if those weirdos decide to jump them. You've still got your life to live no matter who's in your body. We've given up enough..."

Noland looked around to make sure he saw each of them before he said: "I can't ask any of you to do that. Alana and I are the ones they want. If any of you stand by us, they'll come after you too. If you really want to do that...then assess the risks before you make that choice. You've got your own lives to live too. The last thing I want is for anyone to get pulled into trouble again..."

"Markus and I are already in trouble since we have their Bible or whatever it's called," Tank figured. "If there's another guy like who we fought calling the shots in Eden or the Silver Knights, or if someone's pulling their strings from the outside, then I'm game for whatever you want to do. We tried backing off and letting those orgs do their thing, but now we know that they're as useless as they were with the Hurranians, and they're going to come after the guys that saved their sorry asses. I've had enough of them. What about all of you?"

"All I know is that there are people gunning after my friends, and the people who are supposed to be stopping this are encouraging it instead," Allen summed up. "It's the same old story as the first few times we went into action. They act on a policy or idea, and we resist it. I don't care if it's police, military, or Silver Knights. You know I'm the shield. If they're trying to get to you, Alana, or anyone in this house right now, they're gonna have to get rid of me first. You just say the word."
