Petra was staring at Lydia listening to all that. What she just heard was new to her and she was rather confused. Vergilius was just listening in surprise as to how Lydia knew any of that information about vice president or people literally being unable to say anything about vice president's plans.
"Whoa there... vice president?" Petra interrupted. "She has something to do with all this crap? Is the making other Angels do stuff against their will? I don't get it- how do you know this?" She started bombarding Lydia with questions and even Vergilius jumped in because he could not hazard a guess to how Lydia knew this. He knew a fair share of information he could not have shared while being by Sydney's side.
"I am interested in how you know all this too. I was not affected by vice president, unlike other Bakugans, but I could not tell anyone anything because if she found out... bad things could happen." Vergilius admitted. Sydney was struggling intensely against whatever was controlling her, but he was willingly attacking Drago and others... because he just gave up at that point. If he did not do anything who knows what that vile monster of vice president could have done to Sydney or anyone. He felt pathetic because of it.

Core to Lydia's resistance to vice president was thanks to various effects she used on herself and, mainly, thanks to Maste. Vergilius's resistance was unknown to both of them, but they learned it from vice president herself who was too cocky with saying things out loud.
"Ms. Almstedt, Ms. Nelson and I were targeted first. Two of them could not sense it and are not immune. Thus, they are under charm spell. Those of Achron bloodline are able to sense it, but not all are immune to it; conveniently enough I am. She believes I am under her charm and I pretend to be. She sees me as a reliable asset and wishes to use me in her plans. Thus, she reveals plenty of information to me." Lydia explained, taking sip after sip from her cup.
Lydia's gaze turned towards Vergilius. "She told me your Valiant Strive shard has been infused with dark power of a powerful devil. Because of power's nature vice president has no control over your body or mind. Consider yourself lucky." Lydia explained as to why he was immune.

"Ugh... never liked the bitch anyway..." Petra said in dissatisfaction.
"I see... I know what lies within my body, but never expected it to work this way." Vergilius stated. Person who gave him Valiant Strive shard was Mara, powerful devil who takes pride in researching secrets of the universe and has unmatched curiosity. She somehow got her hands on one of the shards and infused it with darkness that grants one powers of a devil. Who knows where she is now and what she would say about all this. Ironically, devil saved him from doing anything terrible.
"And... why is she doing that? Wasn't she with Eden for... what... 20 years? I don't think I've ever seen her Bakugan either." Petra questioned.

"She is doing it for simple selfish reasons- power. She has no need for Bakugan either since she relies on her own power." Lydia replied.
"Lileas Kyuki. True identity is known as Lillith- one of Seven Devil Lords." Maste revealed. "According to our research she must have been on Earth for nearly two hundred years along with Beelzebub, the 'Mad Professor' Kyuki."
Lydia grabbed her laptop and placed it on the table so Petra could see all the documents Daniel and Maste have been stealing under Eden's nose and delivering to Lydia. Not only that, but Admiral Asuka Izumo was comfortable enough to reveal some information to Daniel helping out in learning Eden's and even Silver Knights' plans. Lydia had decent insight into how those rings Noland and Alex have work and that these rings have absolutely nothing to do with Noland being chased. However, purpose behind those being given remains a mystery.

"What...?" Petra was just staring at Lydia.
"Oh dear..." Vergilius sighed. "I was hoping that wasn't the answer."
So much time they have been struggling to get rid of that madman Kyuki and to think another one of them was right under their nose. Not only that, but her last name is 'Kyuki', too. Nobody was going to assume she was a bad person based on last name- there could be many people with that as their last name and none of them have to be related to the devil and yet... this one was. If she had everyone under charm spell then nobody would have said anything in the first place. Perhaps 'irrelevant' people were not put under the spell so they were able to report, but no one took them seriously.
"Wait- if this all is going on why ain't you doing anything? You're doing to work and all. Why ain't you telling anything to Resistors, your brothers or whatever?" Petra questioned.

"Because it is too early." Lydia replied. "I need more information that could give us insight into their entire network. Since she is so willing to share I consider it to be a waste if I act right away. Daniel agrees and has been working with me. Alex was not informed since he might get reckless because of Sydney. Resistors are known to be reckless and unpredictable- one word I say could cost us a whole lot of information once one of them barges in and ruins everything." Lydia explained her reasoning behind not taking actions against Lileas. She had plenty of information stored on the laptop already. There were several things on Silver Knights as well. Whether Admiral Asuka knew about some of these things Lillith told Lydia about was unknown to Lydia.
"I take big risk by telling you. Please, understand that you cannot go in there and start trouble without us finding out more. I have one more person which may be of use in detecting them. I would need to find more reasonable and trustworthy contacts- otherwise it will be impossible..." Lydia said.

It made sense to Petra that she could not run wild. It pained her that she had to leave Sydney until the time was right, but there was no other choice. Lydia and Daniel are quite powerful so if they collect enough information along with that other contact Petra could team up with them and annihilate Lillith when the time is right. That is what she is hoping for anyway, but it cannot be that easy; this devil somehow seems more dangerous than professor Kyuki... Petra had a bad feeling about it.
"So if we get enough info can you, Daniel and I go there and take care of it?" Petra inquired.
"That might not be the best of actions." Vergilius did not like the idea.
"Maybe we can draw her out and beat her. It's only one of her and whole lot of us and I know neither one of us are pushovers." Petra continued.

"Petra... I am sure you know of Six Lost Generals. They are arguably as powerful or even stronger than Six Legendary Soldiers. Yet in the old war against Devils it took 2 Generals or more for each Devil to be defeated." Lydia tried to explain how Petra's strategy would not work against Lillith because difference in power was like heaven and earth.
"I am confident in my power." Maste declared. "Yet neither one of us has power to challenge Lost Generals one-on-one if they get serious. We stand no chance. If we want to deal with her we need some real firepower." Maste explained.
Lydia then opened up one of Silver Knights' files before Petra showing her some details on each of Six Lost Generals as well as scarce data on each of the Devils. "If we play our cards right I might be able to convince some powerful Silver Knights to join our cause. Being allies to Lost Generals they are mortal enemy of the Devils. My contact will be able to help with this and once we secure this cooperation... it will be done. Just, please, be patient."

"Okay..." Petra muttered. She had no confidence after that comparison. Leon would be annihilated in a second. It was hard for her to accept this, but she had to- Sydney's life and lives of many good workers in Eden were in danger; if she was to act recklessly then all of Lydia's work would be wasted and many lives along with it. Silver Knights had their own fair share of problems, but they were still the strongest in terms of raw firepower; if they bring out one of the Lost Generals then it would be ideal outcome.
"So... What do we do?" Petra inquired.
"I am certain you do not expect us to just stand around." Vergilius added.

"Of course not." Voice came from behind Petra, seemingly from the wall. It was certainly a male and yet the voice was somewhat creepy-sounding. There was a circle with emblems on the wall, all colored in bloody-red. Suddenly, man started to come out of the wall, much to Petra's surprise.
It was none other than Daniel, Lydia's big brother. "Hey red. Cyborg." Daniel greeted. Petra should clearly recognize him; she did not seem panicked or anything, but was certainly uncomfortable that Daniel could just go through walls like that. It was certainly a creepy feat, but at this point she should not be surprised. "You'll be big help once we decide to attack. If we decide Resistor should be involved, well... you are closer to them than I am." Daniel explained.

Then another voice came from the other room. "They trust you more than most of us." Young man, tall and in fine clothing appeared from the room. He was taking sips of Lydia's tea and staring directly at Petra. He approached Petra and placed his cup on the table before offering a handshake.
"Professor Friedrich, at your service." He said. Petra could probably sense a familiar aura around this guy. Leon and Vergilius definitely could, but there was no saying what it was. This man was clearly not an ordinary human- his presence seemed almost... alien.

Seeing these two appear out of nowhere Petra just sighed in mild confusion. Upon returning the handshake she paused for a second and then spoke up again. "Alright, first of all... what the hell? Use the door, you dimwit." She looked at Daniel and spoke to him in annoyed tone. She did not like him doing what he was doing with that power of his. There have to be some boundaries which say it is inappropriate. "Second- no offense professor, but I got a feeling I've met you in another life and not in a good way." The man truly was very familiar. She could have sworn she saw him somewhere and that his presence was not to her liking.
"Look... I'll work, but... only if YOU promise me we'll solve this. I don't care much for these two weirdos." Petra pointed at Lydia who was just standing there.

Lydia approached Petra upon hearing this. She ran her fingers through Petra's hair with a faint smile on her face. She would not imagine to betray Petra's trust or to do anything that would hurt her fellow Eden operative in any way. She was determined to make sure everything was in its place.
"Of course. I promise it'll be okay." Lydia said in a gentle tone.
"Now, please, take some rest as well. We will do more research in the meanwhile." Maste said.

( Gundalia) Speaking of research being done, Gundalia was having their hands tied by these guys as well. Noland's mother - Tonya Hardy - was almost as sick of the Tribunal as her son was. She was on the computer at her desk. The look on her face depicted someone who was looking at a horrific crime being committed. There was a horrific crime at work, and it was a crime against...children... She hurried through the hallways to get to the throne room. She found the Emperor sitting down like nothing was going on. This made her furious. "What the hell do you think you're doing!? Those heathens that abducted all of those children are within 1000 feet of this castle, and you're just sitting on your ass!?" Tonya yelled.

Rashad sighed loudly when she stormed into the room. He really didn't want to deal with this right now.
"With all due respect, Mother, while you are on the clock, you will address me with respect as I am your Emperor, not your son," Rashad checked her. "Tactically speaking, I can't move from this spot right now. It took me a while to piece this together, but I find that Gallagher and those treasonous mongrels are about the same. There are only three of us left after that whole ordeal. I can't afford for any more of us to join them until I have a good idea of what they're about."
"Sire!" Dharak called as he entered the throne room behind Tonya. "There's about a couple hundred of them."
"Have you identified their leader?" Rashad wondered.
"Human appearance, light-skinned, fair height, and blue suit jacket," Dharak reported. "He's the ONLY one who takes on a human skin. Everyone else is mostly Gundalian, some are...Neathian. He stands among them like a director, a preacher. He's directing a ceremony..."
"..." Rashad rose from his throne. "Get Kianna over here immediately."
