Deon almost burst out into laughter over what he just heard. It wasn't the fact that someone was ho-ing around. It was the idea that Deon would ever be caught in a situation like that.
"I'm sorry, but isn't Jamal supposed to be the only person you ask about that? The rest of us are either in our own little world or obsessed with someone else," Deon argued. "The moment I let Tabitha 'suck me off' is when I become the King of Vestal and can order you around for a change, which will never happen in a thousand years."
"So, it sounds like you have your plate full with figuring out what to do about that. I wish you the best of luck. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be on my way to the water to tend to my work."

Damian scoffed at Deon's attempt to get out of his conversation as quickly as possible. He wasn't going to allow that to happen so easily.
"You're free to go...once you conduct an emergency investigation of all of your employees and your personal guard," Damian conditioned. "Unless you want one of them turning and messing up all of your progress? In that case, go right ahead. I don't mind that either. Sounds easier for me anyway, but you look pretty content with yourself here, so having all of that work get ruined by these guys would be a grand shame, wouldn't it?"
"Plus, with us having warned you about this, if someone dies here, you'll be responsible if you walk away and do nothing. Choose wisely," Helios warned Deon.

"You could've just done the investigation yourself instead of bothering me with it. You oversee the guards as part of your job after all," Deon wagered. After Deon said that, someone from outer space got tired of this back and forth and decided to jet down to the planet surface to get this thing going. The bull was coated in an aura of cosmic energy due to residing in outer space. This could be a hint towards Tyr's new power aside from being able to survive in a vacuum just like Oberus did...
"If you two are through, then let's get this over with so we can all go about our business," Tyr proposed.
"Sup," Helios greeted.
"Sup," Tyr greeted back. It didn't sound like either of them had much to say to each other.
"...You better figure out who I'm supposed to be when this is over: an idiot who keeps taking fetch quests and jobs that don't exist the moment I arrive at the Palace, or a Spartan. I'll decide to be neither if you play with me again. I don't need this job if you haven't seen that already," Deon warned Damian. With that said, Deon rounded up everyone in the building and lined them up outside.
"Alright, everyone. We're going to keep this short and simple. I understand if this is invasive to your privacy, but we don't care. If you've been intimate with anyone recently, you'd better tell me when and what areas were touched in any way, because we apparently have a succubus amassing a body count. If you tell us now, we can help you. If not, and you turn, then rest in peace. Anyone want to speak up? Speak now or see ya later," Deon loudly spoke.

"Excuse me, but...what's a succubus?" a confused employee asked.
"Sex demon," a Royal Guard clarified.
"Ohhhhhh..."
"I don't see anyone volunteering. You do know what's going to happen if you say nothing and we catch you, right? We are trying to help you now. Please - and I mean it - please speak now," Damian reminded them all. Still, no one said anything. "Alright. I tried."
"This has to be some kind of joke, right? How exactly do you determine if we've slept with anyone or not? Are we that intrusive on everyone's privacy now?" one of the guards spoke up.
"There's our first volunteer," Damian happily announced. He quickly scanned the guard using his BakuMeter. He had an outline of the man's body on his screen, and purple lights were flashing at a certain place...
"That's a lot of energy in your ass. I don't mean to judge, but...you're that kind of freak, huh?" Damian mentioned without shame. "Anyway, time to die."

"What a load of bullshit," the guard said. He stood there like nothing was going to happen to him. Everyone else slowly distanced themselves from this person, because they knew that Damian wasn't fucking around.
"This is around the time where you transform and try to stop us," Deon advised the guard.
"If I WAS a demon, then yes, I would," the guard countered.
"Maybe there's some kind of mistake," an employee tried to reason.
"Shut up. If I need your help, I'll ask for it," Deon said in a threatening manner with a smile on his face. He decided to scan the guard himself to replicate what Damian just did. Sure enough, the results came back the same. This man had an unusual energy coming from his nether region. Without saying anything, he scanned everyone else. There was nothing peculiar about what he saw, but he was taking his time with it. This was on purpose.
"See? Told you that you were full of shit," the guard spat.
"I didn't say you were in the clear yet. You're so aggressive. I wonder why that is," Deon noticed.
"I'm being accused of something I didn't do and was threatened. Of course I'm aggressive," the guard countered.
"So you're injecting what in your ass?" Deon questioned.
"Nothing," the guard denied.
"Not getting enough fiber?" People started laughing at the direction this conversation was headed. This was Deon's plan. He didn't want them to see him or Damian acting tyrannical and killing this guy out of the blue. "They're laughing, but I'm serious. What explanation could you possibly have for having the same energy coming out of your ass as the other attackers who had it coming from their you know whats?"
Before the guard could answer, Tyr let out a puff of air towards the guard that split his head open. This was without warning or preparation. "Oops. I'm sorry. I forgot to tell you that I activated an ability while we were talking."

"Ah shit..." Damian sighed. He caught on to something that wasn't too apparent before Tyr killed the guard. When the body fell down, a bunch of bats started coming out of the person's butt. All of the employees who weren't guards ran back inside of the building, which was very fortified despite the appearance of it. "That didn't happen with the others..." Helios noticed. "Probably because we burned them until nothing was left," Damian guessed. He really didn't know. He was just throwing that out there. The bats grew into winged, humanoid demons that rivaled both Helios and Tyr in size. "That's the nastiest thing I've ever seen... I'm gonna throw up..." "..." All of them growled in disgust. "Slipstream, send a planet-wide alert about these things, please," Helios requested. "Affirmative," the mechanical responded. ( Vestal Tribunal Battle)

A planet-wide alarm was broadcast immediately by Slipstream. This was was only done during extreme circumstances, and it doesn't get more extreme than Royal Guards turning on their 'masters.'
The demons screamed in unison. It was horrific enough to send chills down the Spartan duo's spines despite them not wanting to be afraid. It also pushed all of them back a few meters.
"...Too scared to move... What a bullshit power..." Tyr criticized and recognized. It seemed like their fear levels were getting cranked over 9000. It's definitely impressive if even Damian and Helios were being affected by this. None of them could attack at all...
"Ability activate! Cosmic Charge!" Deon activated while struggling to muster up the courage. Tyr glowed in cosmic green energy as he prepared to rush towards the demons with speedster-like speed. Unfortunately, the ability was immediately canceled.
"Ah shit... I'll never hear the end of this if I end up losing this one..." Deon groaned.

"That's my line..." Damian seethed as he was feeling emotions he never wanted to feel. Helios was constantly growling. He wasn't very happy either. To make things worse, two gigantic energy balls appeared in front of them. As if it was feeding off of their collective fears, it grew into gigantic proportions. The energy ball itself had a face, and it screamed loudly before colliding into Helios and Tyr. They tried to defend themselves, but there was no way that they could. This demonic hold that was upon them wouldn't allow it.
Helios and Tyr were badly injured from that alone. Bruises were making their homes on their bodies. It was a wonder how they were still standing. "Bypassed my shield too... I'm not understanding..." Helios remarked on their opponents' prowess. Helios then attempted to blast a fire ball towards his enemies, but that didn't work either. It canceled itself out before it could be fired.
"I hate to say it...but we could really lose this one if this keeps up..." Damian admitted. Two more energy balls appeared, but this time, they were going for Damian and Deon. While this was certainly enough to spook Damian, there was one thing that motivated him to always fight: not getting embarrassed.
"Ability activate! Prominence Shield!" Helios' power flowed out of his body. The scorching hot energy was used as a defense that didn't require any bodily movement. It was all just a manipulation of the energy he already has as being a physical form of Vestroia's Pyrus core's energy. All of the incoming attacks were incinerated, and the demons were subjected to the raw might of Helios' power.
"So direct attacks don't work when that's active..." Helios noticed. "That's a shame... Now it's my turn." Prominence Shield can stay active indefinitely since Helios is constantly burning. It will continuously burn away anything that tries to get them. It also tortures opponents who can't withstand the high temperatures. It was the perfect attack and defense.

"Take it easy on the environment," Deon immediately warned Damian. He didn't want Damian ruining everything. This meant that they needed to finish things quickly before Helios does too much damage and sets Deon's work back.
The demons chose to retreat after witnessing Helios' power. When you're constantly on fire and are having anything you do burned away, you have to. Tyr wasn't having any of it though.
"I'll just use Cosmic Charge again!" Deon activated. This time, it worked. Tyr covered himself in cosmic wind energy and speed blitzed the demons more times than the trained eye could track. He did so with the intentions of not allowing them to make a move. He then slammed them right back down towards Helios to subject them to the effects of Prominence Shield.
"Hurry up and finish them. You're destroying my work," Deon ordered Damian like he was in charge.

"No one died and made you the boss in their place," Damian informed Deon. "Now, I'm only doing this because I want to, not because you told me to. Ability activate! Galaxy Breaker!"
The previous version of this was World Breaker, the planet-busting punch Helios had in his Fourth Layer form. With Galaxy Breaker, he has the raw power to wipe out an entire galaxy. He focused that strength on his arms and fists. He rapidly punched the air that was in between himself and the demons. This sent numerous pressure waves that pummeled the demons. They were obliterated by this monstrous strength. The clouds from around Vestal parted from this display.
"Ha!" Helios laughed as he deactivated his Prominence Shield since no further resistance was to be expected... Well, he thought that, but the fight wasn't over yet. "Aw man..." Helios started looking up at the shadow looming over them. Somehow, the demons had their souls come together to form some kind of nightmarish spawn that sunk into the ground. The sky immediately turned to how it looks in the doom dimension: black darkness with no light in sight.
"Warning. Planetary disturbance detected. Atmosphere contains mutagen that will mutate all life forms. I recommend immediate termination of target," Slipstream advised Damian.
"How quick is 'immediate'?" Damian asked for clarification.
"One minute," Slipstream clarified.
"...Still care about the environment, Deon?" Damian wanted to know since their lives literally depend on whether or not they can destroy this thing without a care in the world.

"Yes, but only if we can work together. We'll blow it up from the inside," Deon proposed. "I'll fill it with gas. All you'll have to do is light it in on fire. This is easy enough for even you to comprehend."
With that said, Deon went straight to battle. "Ability activate! Frenzy Wrecker!" This was an upgrade to his old Frenzy Destroyer ability. This was more versatile though. He still accumulates energy on a bar that Deon keeps track of on his BakuMeter; however, each time it goes up, a raging tornado is summoned to the battlefield either coming from Tyr's body or appearing on the battlefield using the available sources of energy.
Before anything could be done with this, the demon attacked. It stretched its body all the way to the Spartan duo like it was going to truck them, or even merge with them. The latter seemed likely. It spread itself out to make sure it covered them all.
"Ability activate! Terminus!" This ability allowed Tyr to create a vacuum whirlwind that was being controlled through a miniature Ventus energy core. He formed it in front of him. The demon found itself being pulled towards this vacuum. It was progressively torn to shreds. Despite its face being ripped apart, it was still active. The demon separated its upper and lower half so that it could at least live through the lower part of the body, but it found that getting pulled in as well.
To add onto that, the effects of Frenzy Wrecker kicked in. Just by being affected by Tyr's ability, multiple tornadoes formed above the demon that packed a lot of power. They also packed a lot of hydrogen that Tyr could freely add, and he made sure to smother the body to the point where the gas was present internally as well thanks to the convenient opening the detachment gave.

"...Seriously. Why do you think you can just talk to me like that?" Damian wondered. He was more curious than irritated. It seems this guy grew a lot of balls just by growing a few trees here and there. "Ability activate! Quanar Rockets!"
This ability directly fed off of Helios' internal Pyrus energy. Highly explosive rockets formed out of Helios' energy on a constant basis and went after the demon. This was a pure DPS ability that would inflict consistent damage over time, but just one was enough to set off a planet-rattling explosion from interacting with Tyr's attack.
To make sure nothing important was damaged, Slipstream fired a pulse towards the surface to increase the durability of everything in the surrounding area. In this way, nothing changed in the area due to the explosion, and the demon was actually dead this time...
"Hmph...no big deal," Daman remarked.
"But, that kind of strength came from a Vestal... That shouldn't happen..." Helios began to think. "And to think that just one person affected by this can end up mutating the whole planet... It's like the Hurranians are trying to spite us in their graves."
The skies cleared up nicely. That was the only good news. "Alright. I'll admit it. Your strategy was pretty good. We make a pretty good team...I guess," Damian commended Deon. "So, you up for a job? A real one this time?"

"As long as it involves getting to the bottom of what happened here and nothing else outside of planetary threats, then yes, I'll let you think you're the boss of me," Deon accepted.
"We need to tell the other Spartans to check their guards and any personnel close to them. This could happen again right now," Tyr feared.
"Notifying them now," Slipstream volunteered.
"I'm sure I can get my Tentaclear to cooperate if another one of those pops up again," Deon believed. "But, for the time being, I have an idea. Damian, why don't you and I pay someone a visit about this newbie you denied? I have a couple of questions for him."

"...You know what? I do too," Damian agreed. "Funny. For a second, I almost thought of making you my partner. ALMOST." The Spartan duo immediately went to the Mother Palace to ask a certain someone some serious questions. ( Mother Palace) They found Xavier hanging out in the throne room. He was pacing back and forth as he waited for an update from Damian and Deon concerning the skirmish they had. Jamal was also in the room, but he was off in the corner waiting for something to happen. He wasn't expecting Damian and Deon to walk in together though. That was completely unheard of... "Did I keep you waiting?" Damian asked Xavier who looked awfully impatient.

"You issued a planet-wide alarm. Of course you did!" Xavier kinda shouted. "I'm still trying to determine if someone is coming to kill me or not. There were too many close calls today. That, and I apparently have dirty guards now, so I don't know what the hell to do from here."
Xavier took a deep breath after airing that out. He sounded stressed. It should be second-nature to him to be in a near-death situation after everything that has happened, but for him, they just hit him harder every time. One would have to wonder if Niko is responsible for making his nightmares come true.
"Anyway, since you're still alive, that must mean you beat them, so we should be good... Right?"
