Prior to Battle Rules
- 3 Bakugan per brawler per match, you ARE allowed to have as many bakugan in your aresnal as you wish, but only allowed to use 3 per battle.
- At the start of the battle, each opponent is required to throw down a gate card opposite of their side of the field prior to any Bakugan being thrown. It is then decided by the players who is to go first.
Battle Rules
Since there has been many disputes on what cards can be used when/how/how many i'm going to try to be very descriptive in my explanations.
- When you throw down a "gate card" they can be 1 of 4 types of cards:
--- Regular Gate Cards ( which alter the G's of all attributes. )
--- Command Cards
--- Character Cards
--- Special Ability Cards
Now aside from the Regular Gate Cards, all the other types of cards have NO Attribute Boost, (ie: Character Cards only double the G Level of a Bakugan, they do NOT add/subtract the G's of attributes like Gate Cards do) This is set to provide an equal level playing field of all Brawlers.
- When 2 opposing bakugan stand on the same Gate Card, they brawl, each opponent is allowed to use 1 Card (Whether it be Ability/Command card is up to the brawler) per brawl, just like how it is in the show.
This is a very important rule because it keeps originality to the game. If your allowed to use as many ability cards as u want, it becomes very tedius and takes away from how the game is meant to be played.
- When you lose all 3 bakugan you lose the Brawl
Also when you lose A bakugan in a brawl he may not be used for the duration of that battle (Unless through the use of some Ability Card)
Playing Your Bakugan:
When you throw your Bakugan to the field, remember to state which card your Bakugan is landing on. If you do not this causes a lot of confusion for the other players. It is also important to make sure to review previous posts so that you do not cause an abundance of OOC posts while you both sort out where everyone's Bakugan is.
