Season 4, Ep 7: Dark Thunder

Round one of the Bakugan World Championship Tournament has ended, and all of the contestants are preparing for round two. As they prepare, a new battle begins. Besides the final round, one of the main attractions of the World Championship Tournament is its sideshows. The sideshows are three matches involving top brawlers that didn't make it to the Final Sixteen. These brawlers planning on making a name for themselves by winning the brawls as well as fabulous prizes. What truly makes these matches unique are the rules to. Each sideshow brawl has a new and exciting rule that makes brawling challenging for the players and fun for the audience. The first sideshow brawl is a common battle simply known as the Battle Royale. It involves a handful of aspiring brawlers who duke it out in the arena until one brawler is left standing. However, in this battle, the rules have been changed. Instead of one winner, two winners are allowed in this competition. This will get more players to quickly team up and form alliances, which is exactly what the World Championship game designers want. Among the brawlers, two new faces appear. They are members of the mysterious Team Shadow Storm known as Dark Thunder. Representing the Dark side is Yuri Kyodaina, the Darkus member of Shadow Storm. His partner, the Haos brawler, Hideyoshi Tarou, represents the Thunder side of the duo. Who will win in this fight to the finish?

(Non-canons may compete. Please read these directions before competing. There is no G-Power. This is a roleplay only brawl. Please do not "Knock out" players if you are not a canon. Other than that, god modding is tolerated but try not to do it. If a canon says that you have been eliminated, then you are out, that's it. All non canons who post will get $1000 for participating. [Hideyoshi Tarou]

Hideyoshi stood on his pedestal with a scowl on his face. He paced around and tapped his feet. "Hrmph..." He mumbled, "Where the heck is Yuri? He should be here by now, the battle is going to start at any minute." He shook his head. "I swear to Odin if that kid is late I'm gonna kill him. He's gonna make Shadow Storm look like a joke." The bakugan on his shoulder popped open and responded with, "No worries, he'll be here. At least, he will if he wants to keep his life." The Haos brawler sat down on the edge of his platform with his hands buried in his hair. "Man...He better be here. Especially after all the work I did to convince the judges to let two brawlers win. I don't want some no named loser to share the spotlight with me."
Now most people wouldn't realize it, but the bundle of worry sitting on the platform was also known as the "Light Assassin." A former underground brawler known for his brutal tactics on the field. It's said that while his skills are top notch, he works best with a partner.
After what felt like hours for Hideyoshi, the Haos member of Shadow Storm spotted his partner, Yuri Kyodaina on the other side of the field. Hideyoshi was glad about this as the officials had just started the match. The crowd went wild as all members threw their bakugan on the field. There was no gate cards allowed so Hideyoshi joined the fray with ease.
"Here we go. Make me proud, partner! Bakugan Brawl! Stand Haos Alpha Tornadian!" As the bakugan stood, a flash of lightning struck the ball from above, revealing a golden dragonoid wielding a one-handed stone hammer.
"Prepare to be electrified!" The bakugan roared.

He sighed slightly as he grabbed his Bakugan, and smirked. "Bakugan brawl, Bakugan stand, rise Dextra Chaos Kyrite Mk. 1 Prototype!Face the Council of Chaos!"Both said in an almost demonic voice, each of them sharing a smirk the Mechanical Dragonoid in front of him was whirring with excitement. He sighed as he looked to his Bakugan who nodded at him, and he nodded back , and they began readying themselves. "Go Chaotic Fury Scythe, hehe this allows me to have two Support weapons in the field, I chose Chaos Fury Golem, go!This lets me clone all Bakugan on the field, and put them on my side it also gains strength each turn!"He said, smirking at him. "Oh and...Ability Activate,"he said holding out a card that was pinched between his right hand's middle and index finger, before he threw it yelling out it's name, "Chaotic: Chaos Realm Minor, this enables me to throw out my other 2 Guardian bakugan, I also can't have my power level lowered!"He said as he held 2 other bakugan in his hand. "Go Dextra Chaos Fairen Mk. 1, (Dextra)[Chaos]Syrite Fain.

He growled as him and his Bakugan sensed it once again, it was darkness, it was chaos...all he was was night, chaos was stronger, but he had to at least try and stop it. Fear gripped his heart as he threw out his bakugan. "Bakugan brawl, bakugan rise, Rise Dextra Nyx Koria, Darkus form!"He yelled out, and gripped an ability card in his hand. "Ability activate, "he yelled, glaring at the obviously insane boy on the other side of the arena, "Chaotic Nyx: Back-up arrives!"He yelled, and threw out two more Nyx bakugan, as the card allows. "Rise Dextra Nyx Ion Xyroid Subterra form, rise Nyx-Crystal Ionoid, pyrus form!Intercept the Chaos Bakugan!"He yelled out, throwing out his bakugan trap. "Rise Dextra Nyx Kore, darkus form, merge with Koria, Kore can increase his power-level each turn, which will at least stall your ability."He said to the one in front of him, who simply laughed. "Kore also clones each Bakugan on the field and puts it on my side, I now have 10 Bakugan, although each of them will have their power drained because of your ability, heretic, you left the Night, you left 'The Drachine'."He said, and his only reply was "Yes, and I am stronger now aren't I?"

[Yuri Kyodaina]

''Ridiculous'' a voice remarked as he made his way through the passage that led to the arena. His hands interlocked behind his head, supporting it as he casually walked. One would be nervous of such a Royale - around fifty to hundred brawlers took part with millions of on-lookers to make the experience even more uneasy. Yuri on the other hand, showed the little to no interest in part taking in the first place. Even when he did agree, the boy found the timing of the brawl 'Ridiculous'. He decided to take his own sweet time to make it to the arena.

A deep voice sighed - it was Damare. The dragonoid was not amused with his master's laid back demeanor. Yet, anything he would say would fall on deaf ears. Yuri was bipolar - his unpredictable mood swings were probably the deciding factor on his brawls. Entering the arena, the boy was greeted by a scowl by Hideyoshi. ''What's his problem? He really needs to lighten up" the thought passed his head for a minute before giving a casual wave to his partner.

Just then did the official's announce that the brawl was about to begin. ''Aw, they waited for us - how utterly sweet of them'' the boy chuckled as he mocked them. "Yuri, please. We need to take this brawl seriously" the bakugan finally showed his concern as the boy held him between his middle and index finger. The boy smiled for a minute before it faded away as he observed the other brawlers. ''Be serious in this brawl? Psh, just look at these ants. It would be an overkill even if I tried'' he replied and finally threw out Damare.

''Bakugan Brawl! Stand Darkus Damare''. Taking form was a sinister looking Hydra. The Bakugan was huge and deadly. Damare was truly a frightful sight. He was known for his vicious nature which only Yuri learned to tame. The bakugan roared - his voice sending fear down most brawlers.

From the crowd, a new face, wearing glasses with his book in his hand, talked to his partner Bakugan.
"Should we join?"
His Bakugan replied, "Why not?"
"I really got to say this, this is interesting." As he put down his book, his Bakugan partner turned into Ball Form, dropped into his hand. "Don't fail me! Bakugan brawl! Darkus Meteor Giranstorm Vortex spin!"
The Bakugan popped up, spins, and creates a large tornado after landing. The purple tornado disappears, a Ghost Dragon with Green Horns and a Purple Body, with 6 wings, rises up on the field. Giving out a large roar.
"Let's do this!" roared Giranstorm.
"Hmm, but I wonder who would ally me. As most students in BTS would be busy right now. Where on Earth is Jovial anyway?"
Giranstorm is completely psyched up, showing himself totally prepared in the Battle Royale.

[Reoma Zikku]

Reoma was making his way through the crowd to the arena when he heard the voice :The brawl will begin in a few minutes.Reoma hurried his steps to the Arena.As he neared the Arena he could hear the noises of the crowd.Reoma,its going to be a tough one. said Reoma's bakugan,Slayer Phoenix.I have got nothing to fear as long as I have got you Phoenix Reoma hurriedly replied.He knows pretty well that this brawl will not be like any normal brawls.His heart started to beat faster as neared the arena.

Where is Crismon?Please don't tell me he is getting late again. Reoma searched around for Phoenix Crismon,his brawling partner,but he was nowhere in sight.Oh,its getting late. Reoma hurried up to the arena and found the brawl had already started. Alright listen Phoenix,I have got to throw you in there.Just make sure you keep others distracted till Crismon comes.Phoenix nodded.Oops,sorry for being late.Better late than ever.Here goes,Bakugan brawl arise Darkus Slayer Phoenix.

A brawler in a red clock covered in flaming red color said stop I will join you.
grabs his bakugan before it goes it says: This is going to be difficult.
Lets go Galaxy phoienix! joined Reoma and his phoienix looked like a glowing gold and silver bird.

[Hideyoshi Tarou]

After the other brawlers threw out their bakugan. Hideyoshi frowned. "This is what the officials have given to me as an offering? A few measly, cut-rate brawlers and a Final Sixteen reject? How sad...I was hoping to take on challenging brawlers, not this rabble. How disappointing..." He raised his hand towards the sky as his eyes flashed yellow. "It looks like I'm going to have to destroy all of you. Tornadian?" "With pleasure," The hammer-wielding dragonoid responded to his brawler. Hideyoshi nodded, "Ability Activate! Lightning Bolt Wave!" The Haos bakugan let out a battle cry as his hammer crackled with electricity. He swung the hammer as it released a massive wave of energy that headed towards the two Phoenix bakugan on the field. "Now," Hideyoshi, spoke with malice in his voice, "Fall to the greatness that is Shadow Storm!"

"I see..." murmured Ryan, "Those two are really interesting, let's do some damage to that freaky Three-Head Hydra!"
"My pleasure!" roared Giranstorm.
"Let's go! Ability Card activate! Boosted Fangshade! Let's go Giranstorm!"
As the Ghost Dragon sharpens his claws, preparing for an attack. His claws glow sneaky shadows, charge towards the Three-Head Hydra, ready to do some heavy slashes on it.
*Klack-shing!*
"Nope, that might not work, he's strong." said Giranstorm.
"Correct, instead, my partner. We'll have to think of some strategies or whatever stuffs," replied Ryan.
"Well?"
"Let's wait for his move! We'll surely can do something about it." As they keep watching the birds brawling the dragon. It was surely interesting for their brawl.
"Should've bring a bag of popcorn here," joked Ryan.

[Yuri Kyodaina]

The battle had begun. Hideyoshi immediately took on the pheonix bakugan. Yuri on the other hand just watched the battle commence. Damare made no advances until of course his master would say so. And suddenly an attempt of an attack hit the Hydra. The bakugan endured the hit. There wasn't much to endure really - a straight forward attack was no means to approach the duo.

The plastered smile on Yuri's face seemed unhindered. Only his eyes shifted to the direction of the brawler. He shook his head as if disappointed. ''Its going to take more than that Kid.'' he remarked as he took out a single card. It began to glow a bright purple as he called out its name. ''Ability Activate - Dark Cutter''.

The Hyrda took to the skies as it prepared a concentrated orb from its mouth. The dense ball of energy lingered in the sky. Shooting the beam down - it made its way to Giranstorm. As the beam got close - it expanding to a sort of 'X' shaped beam making it rather difficult to evade. If hit, it would cause some massive damage not only to the bakugan but to the surrounding area as well.

Ryan was seeing the attacking incoming. The Ghost Dragon reacted quickly. As Ryan hops on his dragon...
"Wow, close call, but the surrounded area it's gunna..."
Giranstorm flies up at a very high position from the arena. Everyone on the field was hurt by the attacker somehow. Ryan have to call out his move from the altitude of 4,803 km to the Arena.
"Ah, I see what you want to do."
"Yeah, right, I gotta hold really tight, I mean, your speed is just too fast to launch an attack like that."
"Speed...it would be really fast, too bad my body doesn't have seat belts."
As they both shouted: "Vital Dragon!"

Giranstorm launches a sky-attack from the high sky, spins like mad, then run on a very fast speed.

Ryan shouted: "Woah-ah-oh-ah-ah-ah-oh-ah-ah that's so fast!!!!"
"I can't hold back, we're too fast for the attack!"

Both of them shouted, "CHARGEEEEEEEE"

It would be a *Kaboom* if the 3-head Hydra won't react fast, but Giranstorm is running on a speed of 1000 km/s. Ryan may get flung out if he really don't hold tight of Giranstorm's body, as Giranstorm can't stop spinning for the headcharge Dragon attack.

[Hideyoshi Tarou]

A frown stretched across Hideyoshi's face as he watched Phoenix Crimson activate his barrage of attacks on his bakugan. He held out a finger and shook it at the boy. "Tsk, tsk, tsk," he mock scolded the brawler, "Such an irrational attack. Have you ever thought of another hobby. Sewing might be a better substitute for you." He laughed darkly as his demeanor suddenly changed. His eyes turned dark as a twisted smile formed on his face. "Heh," Tornadian commented, "It looks like the boss is starting to get serious." He gipped his hammer tightly, anticipating a counterattack to the incoming Galaxy Phoenix. "Prepare yourself, boy. My master will give you a taste of our power!" "Ability Activate!" Hideyoshi shouted as he stretched a hand out over the battlefield, "Tidal Light Blast!" "Graaaah!" Alpha Tornadian shouted out a war cry as held his hammer towards the incoming bakugan. A glow of light appeared at the head of the hammer and started to charge up until the bakugan was within a hundred yards of Tornadian. The hammer, fully charged, let out a powerful, piercing beam of light that drove through the enemy attacks, colliding with its target. "Heh," Tornadian taunted, "It would be wise of you to stay down." Hideyoshi started to laugh wickedly. "I told you," he shouted at his opponent, "Sewing might be a better substitute for you. Especially because you're going to need to know how to sew all of the stitches that you're gonna need after I'm through with you!"

the flames surrounded my phoienix as a barrier* Also the phoienix rose back up
