Episode 3: Aspiring Admiration

Tank was outraged when saw his two best friends got killed by Belphenoid.
In his rage and sadness he sent Gladion to kill Belphenoid who was already knocked out by one of Gladion's attacks. Belphenoid stood up, started roaring like crazy and prepared to attack Gladion.
"Lucinferno" hissed the dark beast and launched a wave of dark energy paralyzing Gladion on the spot. He got closer to finish Gladion off, but Daniel suddenly appeared in front of him and hit him with an electrical whip. "That's enough you fool. Don't you see what you have done?" yawled Daniel with rage in his eyes and looked at Tank's lost friends. "Your stupidity knows no end, Belphenoid. Government will accuse me for their deaths when this ends....." said Daniel with a dark tone in his voice. "Like I don't have enough police on my neck and I need now a bunch of dead students...idiot" concluded Daniel and nodded to Sakura.
She jumped in front of Gladion and Tank hitting the ground with the tip of the wand. Energetic barrier was formed around Tank and Gladion preventing them from getting out.
Daniel looked at Tank and then turned back towards the place where Noland was supposed to be. Sakura wnet after Daniel while Belphenoid stood near Gladion and Tank roaring.
"You were lucky thisss time foolsss...Next time when he iss not here...you won't be ssso lucky" hissed Belphenoid and turned back towards Daniel and Sakura leaving Gladion and emotionally crushed Tank in the barrier.

Gladion struggled to move, trying to break free from the ability. Tank swiped a card through his BrawlX before running back to Steve's unconscious body. The BrawlX said "ABILITY BREAKER ACTIVATED", and Gladion was able to move again.

When Tank was by Steve again, he took off his jacket and laid it on top of Steve to prevent shock. Tears were streaming down Tank's face as he looked around at the destruction caused by Belphenoid. Tank turned around to Gladion after making sure Steve was safe.

"Gladion," Tank said, anger burning in his eyes, "Remember that bakugan, Belphenoid. Remember him and remember Daniel. They will pay for what they have done, and we will be the ones to make them pay."

Gladion nodded. For a split second, Tank thought he saw a tear fall from Gladion's eye. Grabbing another ability from his back pocket, Tank swiped it through the BrawlX. "Let's go after them! Break this barrier! Ability activate, Weapons Cache - Longsword!"

Gladion became equipped with his Longsword in his left hand alongside his Gladius in his right, Aegis disappearing into a portal. Letting out a powerful warrior cry, Gladion charged the barrier, slashing hard and fast, doing his best to break through the barrier.

The energy ball launched by Skystar was traveling towards Drago that appeared to be a last-ditch effort to attempt to win; the Haos Bakugan showed signs of fatigue as if it was about to fall over from exhaustion. This was a critical sign of a possible victory for Noland if he takes advantage of this opportunity. The chances of her actually winning against him could be greater if he continued to allow Skystar to have too much freedom with the use of her abilities; the battle had to end as soon as possible. He pulled out an ability card with the intent on doing so. "This match is mine," Noland declared openly.

"Ability activate! Flawless Shield!" Drago covered himself with his wings, and simultaneously added his own power to them via his diamond. This proved to be an effective shield as it came into contact with the foe's Illumina, dispersing it in a couple of seconds. He then quickly shifted into an attack position as he flew towards Skystar to land the finishing blow. "It's over," Noland said with confidence as if all hope for her victory was lost.

Upon saying that Noland felt some unusual presence and he had a cold feeling ripping through his skin. He saw Daniel standing not too far from him as a phantom in the darkness.
Suddenly, a a demon-shaped shadow appeared from nowhere and hit Drago while he was ready to attack Skystar. Drago was knocked out hard and was catapulted to a nearby facility.
It was Belphenoid, one who attacked Noland and Drago some time ago.
While Drago was still lying Skystar attempted to defeat Belphenoid, but still Belphenoid was faster.
"Hell Atsche" yawled Belphenoid and launched a Pyrus-Darkus combo attack at Skystar. After a couple of seconds Skystar fell down and turned back into her ball form.
Then he turned to Tracy and opened his jaw. He started getting closer and closer...

As Drago was approaching Skystar to seal the deal, the audience began to get a little rowdy. He believed that they were doing so based on the events taking place in the brawl as they been doing before; however, a statement from one of the watchers suddenly wiped that thought from his mind in an instance: "Hey! What is that!?" The girl pointed as she said this to make sure everyone was aware of who she was talking about, and as Noland looked at her, he saw her finger pointing somewhere in his vicinity. Fear then found its way into Noland's emotions since they all looked very afraid of what could very well be near him. "Should I even dare to look...?" Noland asked himself. He turned around slowly and found a shadowy figure becoming more visible to the naked eye, revealing the person that blew Noland's somewhat good mood and transformed it into an instant death look. "Are you fu-" That was all Noland had time to say as a Bakugan appeared out of nowhere and blindsided Drago, sending him out of the arena through the interior and leaving him on the ground near another arena.

Noland was left speechless at the sight of that Bakugan and the constant screaming of the audience. It's return was likely given the previous circumstances, but this appearance was definitely crossing the line as many innocent people were being subjected to this abomination of a murderous demon. Skystar understood the danger and rose to combat this monster, but was quickly defeated in her weakened condition. The Bakugan was now approaching Tracy with the result most likely leading to a quick snack.

"Stay away from her!" Noland shouted as he sprinted around the battlefield to her rescue; while he was in motion, he took a secondary Bakugan, Pyrus Juggernoid, in his hand and threw it directly at the enemy to use a shield. She landed right in front of Tracy as she was only a couple of steps away from being eaten. She placed herself into her shell and began spinning in the air. This deterred the demon from getting any closer, and allowed Noland to escort the frightened Tracy out of the arena; however, this was not done without payback being given as Drago shot a beam-like blade through the opening Drago's body left right into the dark Bakugan, impaling it and stopping it in its tracks. "Go! Get out of there!" Drago ordered as he was standing outside.

Noland quickly escorted the stunned Tracy out of there by carrying her in his arms due to her unresponsiveness following her apparent near-death experience. As this happened, an alarm started going off that could be heard throughout the campus that not only had a loud beeping sound, but also a voice saying, "Warning. Unauthorized access detected. Evacuate immediately." A short pause was made before it repeated the message. "Warning. Unauthorized access detected. Evacuate immediately." This was an automated message created whenever the school authorities deemed it necessary to get higher authority involved. The students ran around frantically trying to find a way out, but the enemy made a better move by causing a barrier to begin forming around the perimeter, locking all of them within the confines of the school property. Noland observed this phenomenon and put Tracy down next to him; he then looked back as the attackers began approaching them with the intent to fight. "There's no doubt about it anymore; they really do want to relive the past," Noland said to Drago. Drago lamented on how their presence could potentially be placing other people in danger, and said, "You don't think our existence is their primary reason for targeting people, right? Are we the main ones that could start a war?" Noland looked at his enemies with a determined look on his face, and responded in a confident manner. "No, Drago. I don't start wars." He held up his gauntlet and pointed it straight at his incoming foes. "I end them."
