In order to use any SW effect including counters you must HAVE SW in the play. If my card just prohibited you from having any SW how are you going to use its effects?
You don't have to reply on this one. I am going to consult with someone, so you can wait if you want

I've been speaking with some staff members. Your SW is not in the play anymore; it was blocked. If it is not in the play anymore it means you cannot use its effect.

I disagree. If you're prevented from using normals, can't you use a normal ability counter? Same thing applies to being prevented from using SWs but still being able to use a SW to make a direct counter. I saw it in a match between Tristan and Carson.

That rule applies only to direct counters. Your SW is not in the play anymore due to my effect. Ask Carson

AstroKor has a direct counter in it. Don't worry, I'll look for the match.

Alright, so this didn't really turn out the way I hoped, and that is partially my fault for not paying enough attention. For that, everyone gets the cash prize, and no copies of bakugan are to be taken.
No winner. Thread locked.
