I meant to ask this question a while ago and just forgot to but... how does the double batting work here?

Are you referring to the Tag Team battles?

Tag team battles are just regular battles except that it's more than one person on each side. It can be 2 on 2, 3 on 3, 5 on 5, etc. For each team, each player has his/her respective counts and limits to himself/herself. Power levels aren't combined. But in the case of handicapped single matches like 2 on 1 matches the handicapped brawler can't have limits lesser than his/her opponents, so, to curb this, the handicapped will have his/her limits up to that of his/her opponents. For example, if it's a 2 on 1, the handicap's limits and counts will be multiplied by 2. If it's 4 on 1, that a x4 for the handicapped. For handicapped team matches, if it's 4 on 2, the handicaps' counts and limits will each be multiplied by 2. This is to make sure that things are balanced.
Got it?
