Negativity and Slow Response Time Will Be Punishable

Before I discuss the main topic of this post, I want to let you know a few things. First off, I'm pleased that the plot has been able to make it as far as it has gotten. I'm grateful for the fact that I have people that are as dedicated as I am to make this plot work, so you have my thanks for the work you've done so far. Nevertheless, I have a few things against some of you that I am not happy about. This type of discussion would be a perfect candidate to be kept in a private message, but I refuse to do so for two reasons. There are some of you who did not keep what you were doing private, so I am not obligated to do the same with the post. I also want other members to see exactly what is going on so they know that I will not tolerate these things in the future.
I will admit that the state of things in the plot is not as fast as some people would like it to be, and I understand the frustration with that. I stated in the rules and in episode briefings that if there was anything I needed to know about that could impede our progress, then I should be notified. The reason why that rule is in place is to prevent us from being stagnant due to a member's unexplained absence. Regardless of the rule being in place and all of you agreeing to it, I still have had canons leave unannounced. Some were legitimate reasons while some were ridiculous. I will not name and shame the person who I had to dismiss due to the violation of this rule. You know who you are. SHAME on you.
There have been multiple episodes that have suffered from the slow response time of certain canons. The worst offenders have been episodes 7 and 8. Episode 8 was a big wound to me since that was a boss battle, so it would contain a lot more content than a regular episode if things went right. That unfortunately did not happen since an unexplained absence took place on both sides. I took action against one of them; their canon character was taken away. Although episode 8 was a colossal failure in terms of what it was intended for, episode 7 was even worse since it was a regular episode that would not have as much content as episode 8, yet it was still in the process of completion just as long as the latter even though both canons were present the entire time. This is very unacceptable and they both received strikes against their account.
The situation I described for episode 7's failure was not meant to expose those two canons. It was intended to show you exactly what is causing the plot to be as slow as it is. I've notified all of you that I have been busy doing my own work, using 4+ canon characters, and managing the plot by myself. I have even done more work on my own in episode 20 compared to what some of you are doing now, which is actually quite sad considering I don't have as much time as I would like to have to post even more. That sounds like an insult to your posting ability and time management, and it is intended to be that way only to those that I will describe in the next paragraph. I won't name and shame on that part either; you know exactly who you are.
Episode 12 is currently a serious issue in my eyes since I've observed the most sickening behavior of canons that I haven't seen since Mindy was doing Dragon Castle/Dragon Castle Revolution. I briefed every single participant in 12 of everything that I wanted in the episode as well as the number of posts each person needed in each part. Apparently, there has been a severe issue of lack of attention to what I said in that briefing because some people just wouldn't post regardless of what I said. I come online one day and see a person specifically ask me, "Is the plot at a standstill?" What was interesting about that question was that my instructions were not followed at all. If anything I said in the briefing was comprehended, they would have known that they could have posted in the episode themselves since I specifically told everyone that they needed to meet the requirement of at least two posts in a phase, yet this person asked me that question when they have not fulfilled the objective. Interestingly, this person is online and knows what's going on within the site, yet this still happens. This is a good example of what will piss me off.
A more prominent example of what frustrates me while doing this is that there is a certain person that I have to ASK to post in certain episodes. That is right. Instead of being a responsible person by checking the threads to see if it is your turn to post just like you would do in a battle, I am forced to do that job for you. I could honestly declare that I wished I didn't have to make any episodes with the canon character involved so that I wouldn't have to do it anymore. What is also interesting to me is that this person is always there when it comes to checking the shop and participating in brawls with multiple accounts, but you can't have an adequate posting record. In fact, I had to purposely put an episode on hold just to remedy this situation, which I shouldn't have to do. Absolutely ridiculous.
What I referenced in the previous two paragraphs highlights yet another issue within the canons. Some of you are apparently online whenever these episodes are up. There is no legitimate excuse as to why I continuously come online and see minimal progress in an episode when some of its participants are off doing their own thing elsewhere in the site and completely neglecting the condition of the episode they were currently in. What initially inspired me to make this rant was an action committed by the person I described in the previous paragraph. When I asked for this person to post, they tell me they're busy with other things, so they cannot make a post. I never saw an explanation as to why they weren't busy enough to participate in multiple battles, create multiple accounts, and participate in another roleplay that has been started by one of the other canons. Carson and I are eye witnesses to what has happened to people in the past when they do this. They had canons taken away, warning levels given, accounts disabled, money stolen, creations denied, etc. All of this happened over not posting in the plot when they should be. Why must you tempt me to take these drastic measures?
Then there are some of you who take your frustration into the shoutbox. The comment I said earlier about the plot being at a standstill is one of the comments that I'm sick of seeing whenever I look in the chat. I've seen certain people say things related to the site being boring, barely any reason to come here, there is nothing to do (even though the people saying them were the main offenders in this rant), or they're thinking about quitting because of how things are going (again, even though they are the main offenders). I have had enough of the negativity in the comments section to the point where it's just going to be an automatic ban from the chat. I am really fed up with people spewing this bullshit in the comments whenever people are making an honest effort to do what they can when they can, and it ends NOW. From the moment I make this post, anyone who is caught saying anything negative in the chat will be banned from it on sight. If you have nothing positive to say, then do everyone else a favor and keep it to yourself.
I have commended everyone on the things they have done to get us where we are now. Nothing I have said here would detract from that. My complaints were not only meant to expose, but to warn every person on this site of the impending doom that awaits you if my rules continue to be ignored. All negativity and slow postings will be punishable by strikes, dismissal, disables, and bans. I did not want to enforce such strict policies, but there are some of you that simply do not abide to the rules you agreed to when applying for a position in my plot, and that stops now. The people who thought they would be able to continue slipping by while doing this will have a very rude awakening if they continue. You know who you are, and you need to stop NOW.
That is all.
