Seiki watched Deon’s retreating form as her gaze narrows for a moment, until she decided that the two were far enough to avoid any troubles and turned her attention to Ahio. A faint smile curls up on her lips as she watches her partner and dear friend prance around in a few circles before looking over at Seiki.
The two stared at each other for a few seconds before Ahio launched herself on Seiki, earning a yelp of surprise as the two fall back into the grass. “We won we won!” Seiki tries to wiggle out of her ventus bird’s grasp with no avail, and had to put up with Ahio’s beak nuzzles. “Now I bet you that Noland would be sooo proud of you.” She coos in a smug voice.
Instantly the bird leaps off of the girl who attempts to swipe at the bird, trying to take a clump of feathers off for making yet another comment on her love life. “Urusai.” Seiki narrows her amber gaze at Ahio who simply chortled in response.
“Haha yes yes. I’ll stop...” Her lightning blue eyes look at Seiki’s face, another sly smile appearing on her beak, “Yanno… There’s a tint of blush on your cheeks.”
And with that Seiki shakes her head, “No no no Ahio! You’ve got it all wrong!”
“Is that so? Then maaaybe you’ve taken a fancy to Deon?”
“What in the world? No way!”
“Just making sure.”
The two stay silent as Seiki gets up and dusts anything that might have caught onto her clothes from the glomp she received. “I’m quite surprised I won to be all honest…” She murmurs quietly so only she and Ahio could hear. “But I’m glad as well… Hopefully he’ll stay true to his word.” Seiki looks at where Deon and Tyr had walked off, no longer to be seen. “Probably not though. Spartans will be Spartans.” Seiki finished with a sigh as she mounts Ahio. “Let’s just go home and call it a day.”
Ahio nods in response and takes for the skies, Seiki clinging onto the light green tinted feathers of her partner. Midway home, Ahio decided to start rambling on about... You guessed it. “Hey, on the bright side. If the Spartans do pay a visit, maybe Noland will be there. Better yet he comes to save you! Or bettery better yet, you could go and save hi- OWUCH!”
In one hand, Seiki had plucked a feather from Ahio, her face adorned with a blush once again. “Just shut up and fly back home.”
