Damian patiently waited to see who this dangerous Gundalian was that posed enough of a threat to end a perfectly fine battle. What he got was a very interesting revelation of who Noland could be. "Well, well, well...how the mighty have fallen," Damian commented with a huge grin. "It looks like they really hate people who are like you two. That sounds racist, but who cares? They sure don't. Do you want me to care for you?"
"Hey, Drago, we're not finished yet. They ended the battle, but we're still here in front of each other. Let's finish this, you and I!" Helios attempted to goad Drago into continuing the fight, but he was ignored. Drago chose to run from battle instead. He was not pleased.
"You, of all Bakugan, would flee? Really?"
"You're still standing, Helios." Damian got next to Helios and tapped his leg, apparently asking for a ride. "The ref's gone. You know what that means, right?"
"Yeah. None of those stupid rules need to be followed anymore." Helios grabbed Damian, placed him on his back, and took off after Drago. "Get back here and face me, Drago! Void Stream!" Helios released a white-colored blast towards Noland and Drago to shoot them right out of the sky.

"You don't know when to stop, do you?" Noland looked back behind him to see Damian and Helios chasing after them and continuing to attack like no one had said that their fight was over.
"Miserable existences..." Drago managed to veer to the right so that the blast nearly came close to sideswiping his wing. It was a close call, but Helios kept on going. He had to dodge as best as he could. Any time wasted addressing the Helios problem directly could be spent by the surrounding police that will kill Kendrick, so they had no choice but to allow him to bombard them with attacks.
"Drago, down!" Noland signaled. Drago flew closer to the ground where some of the battle suits were traveling across. Helios stupidly fired at Drago while he was in that spot, so all that had to do was miss Drago for the police to want to target Damian and Helios. "I don't say this often because I think it's a terrible thing to say, but I hope he dies."
Noland and Drago caught up with Kendrick whose arm had just been grazed by a sniper. Drago landed in front of him, and Noland shielded Kendrick from any further fire from the police. Seeing the wound on Kendrick's arm nearly made Noland crack, but it wasn't time yet.
"Step away from the Gundalian, Master Blaze," an officer commanded.
"No."
"I'm not asking you to move. I'm telling you. Get away from the Gundalian, now!"
"I didn't ask you a question either, officer."
The battle suits started lining up in preparation to fire. Noland was about to go somewhere no one else wanted to go. "Do not think that just because you've saved this planet three times means you can do whatever you want!! Now move out of the way!!! This is your last warning!!!"
"Right. Go ahead and use that as an excuse. Let's leave out the fact that you think you can determine who you get to use your new 'toys' on just because you have a badge. Kill yourself."
"Excuse me?"
"Yeah. You obviously must be excused. Here I am expecting the police to actually be the ones protecting us, but now we have to be killed by the very people that were too weak to prevent us from being slaughtered by the Pack. You know what's better than killing everyone you see? Actually doing your fucking job!"
"What do you think we're doing right now? There's a Gundalian right there and you're guarding him! That's treason!"
"Treason? Take your head out of your ass!"
"He's a citizen of the United States! Stop paying attention to someone's skin color and actually use your damn brains!"
"I've had enough of this. Mow 'em down!"
The sad part here was that the officers actually hesitated to comply with the attack order. Some were even contemplating not doing so, but orders are orders, or so they say. They shot at Noland and Kendrick anyway. Drago took all of the blows for both of them with the Advanced Supremacy ability still being active, giving him the much-needed protection against the blows. "That's it!" Noland had enough. His brother was bleeding next to him, the police were still gunning for him, and now he was here on their kill list as well. There was no running away, no turning back, and no asking for help. He was on his own, and Kendrick was dying. The police's indifference to life was just as disgusting as Damian's personality. It had to end.
Noland's eyes flashed a bright red. Drago's eyes flashed in acknowledgement of his motive. The coloration of the aura they shared changed from rainbow to a gloomy purple. The scales on Drago's body turned pitch black. Noland then underwent a transformation: his skin turned gray, the grayish-blue marks appeared under his eyes and neck, and a horn-like appendage grew on his head. "You're. DEAD!" Noland promised, the last word having the darker tone that he now became comfortable with.
