No if you end your turn when your bakugan have lower G than my bakugan i can choose to attack. Ok then our LG's are,
Kuro:500LG
Infinity:500-200=300LG
You can set the gate.

You were not misinformed if you skip your turn when your bakugan have lower Gs than opponent then they can choose to attack too but if you skip and your bakugan Gs are higher than your opponents then they can't choose to attack.
