I'm going to try swooping in with this, based on what I've seen.
Markus: Banned for rude behavior and disrespecting admin authority Seiki: Didn't report a potentially dangerous situation that was brewing in the chatbox. Two unknowns: Being haters and discussing potential ways to kill people in the chatbox.
Let's see if I pieced together what Blaze was missing from your responses.

You literally repeated what she put down.

I see it now. We've been looking at the wrong person as the bigger problem.
Lydia: Endangered another user with spyware on a PMed website Seiki: Didn't report a potentially dangerous situation that was brewing in the Chatbox Two unknowns: Discussing how to kill two people they were hating on in the chatbox.
Markus doesn't get the boot. I thought about it earlier, but went against my instinct. Tank, despite being a higher ranking staff than Markus, didn't have grounds to suspend his accounts. The first thing he should've done was talk to Markus and ask him to do what he was supposed to do. Markus's response was not to the general people. While he should get a strong warning for his response to Tank, it was not put into a public space and, as such, does not break one of the general rules.

And with that, we're wrapping up another module. I don't know how it took so long to finally exclude Markus from the list despite me saying he shouldn't be there numerous times, but we finally have a good list of people who will get removed immediately. Atom, we'll talk in pm about what you're getting, other than the $4000.
Let's go down the list.
Deon making the poll was obviously in poor taste. Simply talking to him and shutting the thread down/deleting the thread would be the most likely option. Yita would not be disciplined at all, because we don't know if she actually said it nor did it happen on the site if she did.
---
Tank is well within his right to do what he did. It might not be the right thing to do, but he is able to do that. Markus - who you all seemed to think should get banned automatically - will only get his warning level maxed out. Destaffing him is also something I'd personally do. Disrespect on that level doesn't get someone banned without warning though, even though it was towards an admin.
---
Jamal is disgusting for sending Lydia that picture, but since it happened on Twitter, we aren't concerned about that, as that will be Twitter's problem if he gets reported. What is an issue is what Lydia did on this site. Sending malicious links to someone is unacceptable, and we have zero tolerance for it. That will get you banned immediately; therefore, Lydia is the first to go.
---
The two people in the chatbox are obviously going to get banned. No question there. But Seiki too? Well, there are a couple of things you need to think about. First and foremost, she is under no obligation to report what she sees; however, at the same time, she must understand the consequences of failing to report them.
There's no guarantee that Allen's victimization would've been prevented if Seiki had reported what was said to an admin. BUT, in this case, Noland knows Allen in real life, which hints at the possibility that it COULD be prevented. To be transparent with you all, there are tools that a civilian can use to pinpoint someone's location. I had to use them once in a certain situation you'll hear from me about later. With the admins being able to see all of what we can see, we COULD have the proper authorities intervene if we wanted to. Despite that being said, that's not the reason why we'd get Seiki out of here.
This type of situation could get us in serious trouble. By Seiki failing to report what she saw, she is giving the world the impression that this website facilitates threats to life since we didn't respond to it. Proboards will take us down for this. Anyone could report us and spin the story any way they'd like to, because they saw us "allow" people to freely talk about killing people that led to one of the selected people getting shot.
Additionally, IF investigators are able to figure out where the threats were made, then we're getting put on the news. I'd rather stay out of that. Wouldn't you?
So with that, Seiki MUST be banned, because her failure to act is a threat to this site's stability and existence as a whole.
At the end of the previous module, I said I was going to put you to the test with this one. This test was to see how well you could think about actions and consequences as it relates to the site. (PLEASE don't do what Jamal did in this example. I know someone will be dumb enough to think this is a good idea.)
Next time, we'll return to brawling scenarios that should broaden the way you approach battles. Until then, stay ready.
