Description: Gargulion is recognized as a Darkus Legendary Soldier along with Hydranoid; however, he's not too concerned about who is better fit for the position, since they're both well qualified. Gargulion's primary focus when talking about his role as a Legendary Soldier is protecting them all from one aspect that will always be their downfall: death.
Death is a rather funny word to Gargulion, since - by definition of his species - he's already dead. He is a spiritual being in the physical world who can build physical bodies to fight with. As such, this evolution showcased two different views of Gargulion's power: his power 'sealed' and his power unleashed.
The 'sealed' state is about Gargulion's usage of his frames, the bodies. Being a materialist by nature, Gargulion is adamant on keeping his vampiric body as his main whenever he's in battle. Gargulion has also created plenty of other frames that are on standby, some of which are contained in Markus' BrawlX. Some of the ones Markus keeps on hand are very special frames modeled after his family and - arguably his most dangerous one - one that mimics Roxy, something he keeps hidden so he wouldn't have to explain himself in front of a certain woman who might kill him with a deathly embrace. These highlight a trail of inconsistencies for gauging Gargulion's power, because certain bodies could be equipped with attributes that don't involve Darkus, or some could be built in such a way that they inherently carry strength beyond imagination.
Also, Gargulion's power has advanced to the point of having more creative control with the power he is allowed to project through a shell, making the point of the DNA Stimulus useless as he is now strong enough to replicate those exact feats.
The unleashed state is when Gargulion is at his most powerful. His Spirit Physiology grants him a lot of power over other beings. Possession, intangibility, and invisibility are some of the powers he can use, which can also be projected through his bodies. In addition to that, he has control over his own soul, the skill of which branches into several other dangerous abilities that are forbidden enough to make "Death" eager to kill him. Similarly to Hydranoid, Gargulion can also afford himself the power to constantly get stronger by absorbing souls. He could even merge souls into his own being.
Interestingly, Gargulion is considered living while he's 'sealed', but dead when he's unleashed.

"If what Markus said and did is to be taken seriously, then Gargulion also falls under the umbrella of being a mixed bag. The important detail to remember is that Gargulion is an assassin. Gargulion could make a frail body standing on the side of the liquor store to be one of the deadliest combatants we've encountered in a very long time.
