As the thread title says, this will be used for training. This doesn't have to end with life gauges hitting 0. I'm here for as long as I'm needed. Both of us will receive the same payout, regardless of who wins or loses. Let's begin.
Gate card, set! Bakugan brawl! Stand, Darkus Slaid "The Dauntless" at 800G!
Slaid :: 800G
Kane's HSP :: 110

Ability activate! Goliath Fortress (White)! I can call on a "Goliath Fortress" to my side of the field with it being 1.5 x Slaid's base level. It can take on any Support Weapon characteristic based on what I own, so I'll consider it a Bakugan Trap and will be able to use Pythantus' abilities/effects as its own, but whatever gets used, I have to use 1 effect from that ONLY.

Alright. Before I say anything about this move, let's talk about the calculation. Since you doubled your power level, you should be at 1600G, not 1800. Minor thing, so I'm not spending too much time on that.
The move itself was bad. Goliath Fortress is a shop card, so you could've gotten a good idea of what it does beforehand. The "Goliath Fortress" is an extra support weapon, so I'm not losing anything aside from the limit of throwing in extras and whatnot. Since it took on the characteristics of Pythantus, Goliath Fortress can use its abilities, and Bakugan Trap abilities do not count towards the card count or the card class limits.
Your move did nothing to hinder my clear intentions to use its power, so you gave me a free move. You should've immediately ensured that I didn't get the chance to use Goliath Fortress to its full effect. That doesn't mean to necessarily counter my card. Other things could've been done, like sending Slaid back to my arsenal, sending Goliath Fortress back even.
You must consider the possibilities of what your opponent can do before you make a move yourself, which is why I created the modules for you all so you could get a feel of what it takes.
To further test this skill, I will capitalize on your mistake and use the full power of Goliath Fortress.
Trap ability activate! Defense Coil (Blue)! I will copy Goliath Fortress to call on another "Goliath Fortress", with it getting 1.5 x Slaid's base level, just as before. This one will take on the characteristics of Pythantus also.

Want two of them do you? Weeeellll I cannot allow that soo!
Ability Activate! Elemental Shift!
1) Swap the Attribute of your/opponents bakugan to another attribute.
2) Bakugan of a [Choose Attribute] gain 100 per turn.
So your Slaid is now Subterra, and because your goliaths' have the characterises of Pythantus they are darkus bakugan traps I beleieve, therefore they can no longer be out as they got to fit the attribute of the bakugan. This means you go back to the base of 800.
Then Pyrus shall gain 100 per turn.
Me:1700(+100 per turn) You:800(Slaid is Subterra)
If I am wrong let me know.

You're correct. Well done. Excellent move. That's the kind of moves that you need to make in those situations. At the same time, you're now in control of the battle, because I'm being told what I can or can't do. I have to get out of this situation somehow, so forgive me.
Special ability activate! Illumina: Pain (White)! I select a player, which will be you. Then I choose any buff or debuff that occurred in the round, and until I play another card, you're going to be affected by whatever I choose.
Your attribute change was very detrimental, so for now, I'll let you bear that burden. Your attribute will be changed to Darkus. Because of this, none of the cards you used will have anything to say to me.

Your move wasn't bad, but I have a suggestion. As I said in discord, I was testing to see how well you pay attention akin to the modules I've given you.
Tracy's Illumina: Pain says that the attribute change I put upon you would last until I play another card. This means that the moment I play a card, the attribute change against you would be gone, and then Slaid's attribute will go back to being what you changed it to. Depending on how you played this, you wouldn't have had to counter Illumina: Pain at all.
Since it's often difficult to work your way around an attribute change like this without countering, the shop cards - like Goliath Fortress above - are great alternatives since they're universal, meaning they can be used by any attributed Bakugan. Sylphystia could work very well here, because you could greatly exceed me in power and knock me off of my high pedestal, and I'd have to deal with losing what I gained from Illumina: Pain due to the way it works.
Again, not a bad move given the circumstances, but there are better options to consider.
With that being said, I forfeit the round. It's your turn to set the gate.

Bakugan brawl! Stand, Darkus Slaid "The Dauntless" at 800G!
Slaid :: 800G HSP :: 120
Drexore :: 800G HSP :: 220
^ Be aware that since you technically won the round, you got 100 HSP. It's not a value too many people keep track of (they should since I see some going for rounds), but for later rounds, the special shooting skills will come in handy. Just a heads up.

I will skip as well.
It was good that you tried this so I could say something about it. There will be some people out there who will either allow themselves to move first and not do anything substantial, or they will be able to decimate you on the first turn. Depending on who you are facing, it might be a good idea to watch out for whatever they could implement on their first turn. Just like in chess, opening move could set the tone for the battle.

Hm....lets see.
Ability Activate! Prirad's Rule!
Now let me explain what this does. Fairly simple really for the first effect only affects those without a pyrus bakugan. And your bakugan is in fact Darkus so you love half your power.
Oh and mine doubles.

Hm...I have no comment on that move. It's not a bad opener. When you play your first card, you should always be thinking about where you want to go and if the move you made is doing you any favors.
Ability activate! Shadow Master (Green)! This will give Slaid the advantage, and you're also prevented from using normal abilities.
Slaid :: 400G Drexore :: 1600G
This opening move of mine is me trying to get the brawl where I want it to go based on what I said. I like keeping track of what we can or can't do, which is typical of someone who has played a lot of chess. I like to lock down certain things so I can have control. That's what I want the brawl to be like. Can you see that vision of mine by looking at what I just did?
