"..." Alana tried her best not to look shocked by this, but she couldn't help it. She isn't very surprised by the power boost Drago just got. She was more surprised that he SURVIVED the attack.
"Damn you! I'm not losing! Not again!" Excedra defiantly roared.
Alana quickly got an ability ready to go. At this point, there needed to be damage control before Drago can exercise his power. "Ability activate! Advanced Darkus!"
Just like it did for Excedra when it briefly fought Diablo 3, Advanced Darkus made it so that Excedra's heads essentially counted as different bodies. This meant that his power was effectively multiplied by eight and it would require all eight of these "bodies" to be defeated before Excedra loses the fight. This can all be equated to a substantial increase in offensive and defensive potential due to the multiple nervous systems working together.
"'Yield' my ass," Excedra spat as he activated the ability.

At this point, Noland decided to cross his arms and become relaxed. Advanced Darkus didn't change what Noland had planned for Excedra.
"Suit yourself, but I gave you the opportunity," Noland eerily notified. The evil tone made it even more sinister than it was. "Ability activate! Absolute Desolation Cross!"
This forbidden card's activation marks the first time that a Dragonoid or Dharaknoid has had one of their forbidden abilities upgraded. Apollonir's abilities were already too powerful, one of which outright kills someone regardless of how strong they are. His never upgraded, but Drago's did. It can only happen when a being with the Ultimate Warrior Gene begins to master the Hex Code.
In this case, Absolute Desolation was handed the benefits from Supremacy Big Bang in that it charges faster. Obviously, it carries more power with it as well. Considering this ability at Duality level was capable of wiping out three Diablo 3's at once, it was likely that multiple nervous systems wasn't going to save Excedra if this gets fired.
"You still wanna keep going?" Noland asked. This was the last warning in his eyes.

"That's not good..." Alana grieved. She witnessed this ability's power on two separate occasions, and it sounded like it was given an upgrade. If that gets fired, her and Excedra are done. No doubts about that.
"Ability activate! Final Wizard!" Alana shouted. It was no use trying to find different ways to dodge or plan. No matter what, she needed to deal with this attack NOW.
"Back then when Noland and Drago were weaker...even Niko and Donovan's abilities didn't stop this attack when it wasn't done charging...and this is supposed to be WAYYY worse than that," Alana thought. "Who knows how long we have until he fires that... I have to attack now while I still have the chance..."
And so it was done. Excedra immediately unleashed a giant beam from his central mouth that is usually equated to a one-shot kill in most regards. Thanks to Advanced Darkus, this was made up to eight times more powerful.

Noland nearly burst out laughing at how hasty the Final Wizard was activated. He played with Alana's mind pretty well there. It scared her the first time he used the technique, so it was no surprise she'd attempt to destroy Drago right then and there. Unfortunately...
Drago canceled the Hex Code immediately after it was fired. "Virtue Synthesis!" Drago declared. This was the same secret art Apollonir used to help Gorem blow a hole in the Alternative.
A clear, semi-invisible barrier surrounded Drago as he tanked the ultimate ability. He was adding this overpowering attack to the formula so he could then add it to whatever he wants.
"Thanks to that, I'm not going to have to kill Alana and Hydranoid to get you out, Maverick. Appreciate it," Noland thanked. "Still, this is going to hurt. Really bad. It's a real shame I'm the only one who knows how to execute this technique. You could really use something like that right about now..."
Once Drago's body accepted the attack, he held up Apollo's hand. The barrier sprouted like a flower and dropped particles onto it. The weapon gleamed in Clear-attributed energy. This in combination with a Prime-enhanced Drago will seal the deal.
"And...you're done," Noland signaled.
"Coming at you hot!" Drago quipped as usual. He disappeared from where he was. He was seen traveling towards Excedra in a scarlet streak, possibly due to him moving so fast from the enhancement. He then smashed the trident against Excedra's back. This resulted in an Earth-shaking explosion that briefly brought down all pieces of technology.

Following the impact, Alana and Excedra were floating in the ocean. This was due to Drago outright destroying the island from delivering the finishing blow.
Alana was fine where she was since she was floating on her back. As for Excedra, he was about to sink until he progressively changed back into Omega Hydranoid.
This dropped Alana's life gauge to a miserable zero, which was fine from anyone else's perspective; however, what wasn't fine was that they were still under the influence of the Maverick. Anyone could tell this was the case by looking at their bodies. Their skin colors are still not in order and depict the alien-looking creatures that the Mavericks truly are.

The sound of someone's footsteps over the water became louder as their bodies were approached. It was clearly Noland, but the walking on water trick was strange. His body was glowing in the usual Switch Code coloration, which hints that the form's passive abilities may be the reason why he's allowed to do such a thing.
"..." Noland influenced his bio-electricity by his Hex Code and zapped both Alana and Hydranoid for at least ten seconds. "Here's a piece of advice," he offered to the Maverick, knowing full well it wasn't going to be relayed to the rest of its kind since it was going to die here. In the event that it was... "Die."
The Maverick took that advice nicely. It was obliterated by Noland's bio-electricity, so its hold on Alana and Hydranoid ended there.
Hydranoid returned to ball form, but ended up in Noland's possession instead of Alana's. is ball form was grayed as well, which shows that he had taken too much damage and had to seal himself.
"Welp...that's that. Easy work," Drago yawned. "Okay. In all seriousness, that was probably the closest we came to dying since the Hurranians. We ARE NOT doing this again."
"Agreed," Noland accepted. He took Alana into his arms and got ready to leave the area. "We'll call Wavern later to see if she'll restore this place. Let's just get out of here."
"Yep."
While holding Alana, Noland used his right hand to reach around and dial Allen on the BrawlX. "Hey. It's over. Do what you want," Noland suggested.

Sargon and the soldiers could obviously tell that something happened. The massive quake and the temporary elimination of technological services was definitely not too obvious for them to see.
"Sir, did you feel that, sir?" A soldier jokingly asked the General.
"Yes, I felt that!" Sargon yelled. "I think we just lost our target. Oh well. Guess this kid got us."
"Sir, an island just got leveled, sir!" another one informed him.
"That's insane... You kids are something else, I tell ya what. Hope you have some way of restoring that. That's going to get you a lot of prison time."
Sargon was intent on just giving up the fight since he couldn't just gun down any civilian if they no longer posed a threat. He lit a cigar in the middle of the battle and started smoking.
"Well, since there's no more threat, I guess we can all go home now." In one last attempt to take Allen down, Sargon gave Giganox the strongest class of weapon in his arsenal. It was a big missile launcher with 10 muzzles.
"I gotta hand it to ya, Allen. You're tougher than any man I've met. I had some fun here...minus the horrible things you were saying about me. You still down to battle?"

That rumbling, along with the soldiers responses meant only one thing. Noland had succeeded in saving Alana. And at a perfect time too. Allen was starting to lose his interest in this general, as his moves did damage, but not anything too heavy or dangerous. But now, he could use his stronger abilities and end this fight now.
It seemed that the general was planning the same thing. He sounded like his next move was going to be his last. Allen could get behind that." Gorem, i believe our guest here wants the last call. So what do you say?"
Gorem, still wielding his signature hammer, begun with a nod." I say it was looking like closing time anyway. So lets wrap this up and get the hell outta here."
" right. Cant let Noland show me up. Dont care if he is the ultimate warrior or whatever." Allen mused as he pulled the ability that he was hoping would be the endgame." Now lets do this. Ability activate, breakdown of entropy."
This ability was one that he knew would be a finishing blow. Gorem slammed the handle of his hammer on the ground, turning a massive area of the ground under Giganox into quicksand, pulling the cybernetic creature down with every passing second. He continued the assault by lifting the hammer up, which also lifted a rock with about a 10 meter radius. Lowering the hammerhead this time, he dropped this huge rock onto the area that was holding Giganox, ready to destroy this opponent.

"Good God almighty..." the General spoke in amazement. "Giganox! Fire!"
Giganox pointed the rocket launcher upwards. Only three of the ten muzzles shot anything. It was three clear-attributed missiles that stayed stationary for about one second before zooming in on their target. They struck the rock at the same time. When they did, they produced an explosion that not only sent fears into the hearts of everyone in the United States, but it also blew apart the rock with ease.
The reason why this was possible for Giganox to due was because to the weapon he was using. It was the T.E.S.L.A., the most powerful rocket launcher ever made in the history of Earth. It utilizes the mechanical energy system that courses through Giganox and progresses it to a state where the weapon itself can affect subatomic particles. Through this mechanism, the rockets themselves can achieve the dangerous feat of inducing destruction upon anything it comes into contact with.
Of course, it goes without saying that the General couldn't explain how this works either...
"You like that? Your Gorem's about to feel the full force of this thing," Sargon warned Allen before Giganox aimed at Gorem. Before shooting, Giganox had to activate his energy system to achieve the strength necessary to move out of the quicksand. The escape wasn't immediate and will probably take a while, but it was progressively getting out.
"Fire!" On his cue, Giganox used all ten muzzles for the shot at Gorem. Ten missiles were released and homed in on the Legendary Soldier. Unlike the first time, the missiles fed off of each other's mechanical energy. This made each projectile more powerful and faster in comparison to the ones that blew up the rock.

" this could be bad." Allen understated the position he found himself in. That last ability was demolished, and Giganox still had his weapon. That thing just spelled trouble for any chances they had of breezing through this brawl. Fortunately enough though, the large robotic bakugan wasnt out of the quicksand yet. If Allen used this to his advantage, he may just be able to end this brawl.
" ability activate, Vurtious counter. " Allen wasted no time in doing his next move. His opening was small, so his ussual theatrics could take the backseat for now. This ability was a upgraded form of his vicous counter ability from force gorem. What was that upgrade, you might ask? Thanks to the boost from this ability, while he slipped out of the weapons aim, he took a quarter of the energy that the attack against him had. With this boost, he slipped into the air right behind Giganox, and aimed a hyped up jab at the creature.
" i think this is checkmate, ya old wacko." Allen took one last jab at his opponent, because that huge weapon wasnt going to help at Gorem's range. " dont have a ace up your sleeve, mr. General." He whispered, clearly tired of the back and forth with his meathead foe.

"Dammit! It missed!" Sargon raged. By now, it was clear what was about to happen to Giganox. There was no way Giganox was going to turn around and let Gorem give it a bloody nose, so...it was struck extremely hard.
And for the first time, Giganox was knocked over. It hastily moved the T.E.S.L.A. ahead of it so it wouldn't fall on top of the weapon. It hurried to get back up, but by then, it sunk even lower to where its body was submerged aside from the hip region on up. It struggled as it tried to wiggle its way out. As expected, the hasty movement made it sink much faster, but there was hardly any other option when it fell that deep after suffering such a monumental blow from behind.
"Damn...I can hardly believe someone as big and strong as Giganox can't escape from that. What did you mix in there?" Sargon expressed in disbelief. "Just how deep is this quicksand to be able to house such gigantic creatures? Jesus Christ..."
Sargon used his gauntlet to recall the T.E.S.L.A. before it got lost. Giganox was initially confused about the launcher being taken away from it, but it understood why. It hung its head down in disappointment.
"Command, I need Giganox sent back to base on the double. I mean it," Sargon ordered through the comms. Apparently, since Giganox was so large that it couldn't return to ball form, fatal damage may be caused if Gorem doesn't end the attack. Due to the Pack and the Hurranians, the U.S. Army conditioned themselves to not rely on their enemies to cease fighting, even if it is a Resistor.
"Acknowledged, General," a woman's voice responded. "Hold tight..."
"Oh man... The General actually lost..." one of the soldiers whispered.
"These Resistors are a lot stronger than I thought... Granted, we probably should've known that from what the Master Blaze did to that poor kid at FedEx... That was brutal.." another one replied.
"Um...so no one's going to mention that the Iron Juggernaut pretty much toyed with the General the whole time? I mean, I think it's great that he lasted this long, but it feels weird that the battle ended this quickly after we felt that worldwide quake," a smart soldier mentioned.
"..." Sargon groaned at the idea of him losing, but it was whatever. Three big rings appeared above Giganox's head and traveled downwards to cover its body. It disappeared as the rings moved on down, which spared it from its sunken tomb.
"...Like I said...I had fun," Sargon admitted once more. "Make no mistake... I'm going to remember this and get you back along with your crimson-haired friend and the treasonous CIA agent...but I respect you, Allen. You're not like the sissy men you're associated with. You have guts, courage, and an unbreakable will. Wish more men in the Army had that. Ah well. Enough rambling. I'll have my vengeance whenever. Watch your back..."
With that said, Sargon was carried out of the area by the Juggernauts. Now that the fighting was over, the Army started withdrawing from the area. The fighting was over...for now...

" ya know, im really hoping he never comes back." Allen responded about his opponent, the army genral. Now that he thinks about it, allen was almost 100% certain he never got that guys name. Either way, they won, and Noland succeeded on his end. This was clearly a resistor victory." That was nice and all, but the fact that we even had to use those abilites sucks."
" The big old bucket of bolts he brought with him wasnt a pushover. To be honest, im almost woried that he might come back with counter measures to our moves." Gorem actually brought up a good point. With Giganox bieng a mechanical bakugan, it wouldnt be farfetched to say they could take battle data, and make a truely terrifying weapon." But let's cross that bridge when we get there. For now, lets go meet up with the other two."
" might as well. We might wanna go the long route though."
" why?" The bakugan, very confused by his brawler's remark, really didnt want to move at the moment.
" they probably have some words they wanna say. It would probably be best to leave them to some time." The sarcasm could be heard this time. He was laying it on thick so even his hard headed friend could figure it out.
With that, they walked straight line to thier friends, not wanting to waste any time.

( Hidden Base) Noland took Alana back to the CIA Hidden Base in No Man's Land. She was laid out on a bed in Andrew's office. Her body was being scanned to be absolutely sure that she was not being influenced by the Mavericks in any way. Furthermore, he had to make sure that her body didn't suffer any serious repercussions from having the Maverick use her. Of course, the same was being done to Hydranoid by Hades. Noland was revisiting some old placed of the past while he waited. He somehow made it all the way back the door that led to the Bakugan Termination System. It was still wide-open. He went in there and came to a hallway that seemed like it was clear of everything, except that when he set foot in there, a red circle appeared in the center. A Bakugan started rising from this circle to greet Noland. Who it was came as a surprise to him. "...Drago...?" Noland hesitantly muttered. "Pyrus Legendary Soldier, it's good to see you," the Drago replied. "...What are you?" Noland responded, as it was starting to sound like this Drago was not actually Drago. "I am a familiar in Drago's likeness. There are others that look just like your friends as well. Wavern gives us the appearance and powers of the Legendary Soldiers so that we may watch over areas that are important to the Bakugan and repel those who seek to enter without permission.""But the BT System was relocated, right?" "It was. All beings don't know that though, so WE remain here to catch any unsuspecting idiots who would dare seek that power.""So I'm guessing there's more than one of you, right? There's as many familiars as there are sacred areas?" "Correct.""Would that mean you're knowledgeable about certain phenomena like the Maverick virus?" "Yes, but they are no threat to you as you've just proven. It's quite impressive that you were able to defeat that Hydranoid without resorting to your divine abilities, BUT...don't let that go to your head. That was very dangerous...""Understood..." "Anyway, the Holy Providence should be able to record the virus if a sample is available. That way, you can get rid of it without that much hassle in the future. Alternatively, I COULD inform you of the new location for the BT System, and you can wipe them out that way. Considering they can take over one of the Legendary Soldiers, it IS a problem for us that we're willing to give you that information.""Nah...I'm good. We'll wait to use that on something important." "Okay. Also, I have already informed Wavern of what happened on that island. It should be restored in a couple of minutes; however, due to that, she will likely be talking to you soon. She might want 'payment' of some kind. Good luck with whatever that is.""...How did you know that we-" "There's a secret area on that island...WAS a secret area on that island...""Oh...sorry." "Oh, you will be." The familiar started laughing at this, but - in reality - Wavern was going to whoop his ass. "So, with all of that being said, what can I do for you?""Well...I was just looking around here trying to clear my head. Since you're here, I think I should ask... Something happened after I took the Trial of the Twelve..." What Noland was speaking about was a battle he unexpectedly fought soon after the trial. For some reason, he was challenged by General Ivanna Zima since the Silver Knights wanted to assess the battle power of the Legendary Soldiers. She got more than she bargained for. About a minute into the battle, Noland and Drago went berserk. A pillar of dark red energy shot up from them. The display instantly broke all of the power detection equipment the Silver Knights were using at the time. Drago then went on to one-shot the General's Bakugan... Yes...all it took was one hit...

"...Yes...I know what it is..." the familiar admitted.
"Can you tell me?" Noland requested.
"...I'm not allowed to say what's causing it..."
"Are you serious!?"
"...I can tell you what it is though... It has something to do with your Ultimate Warrior Gene. It's called Colossal Crimson. It is a heightened state, as you already know. One that can challenge the gods along with your Duality state, I'm sure. It's one that I don't have... That's all I can tell you."
"...You said you had our powers though..."
"Mhm. That's the mystery of your predicament, wouldn't you say?"
"That's interesting... So, can you tell me how to trigger it? Lydia has been trying to figure out how to get it to activate since I can't seem to do it myself."
"It will activate when it wants to. That's all I can say."
"So I don't have any control then... Alright. It's not going to make me evil, is it?"
"Never. You have nothing to worry about in that regard."
"Whew... Thanks for that... If I had to get control of ANOTHER darkness, that'd be too much."
"You have plenty of that to deal with, correct?"
"...Yeah..."
"I'm interested to see how that develops. You have the potential to grow, but only if you want to. Remember that."
"Alright. I'll do my best."
"I'm sure you will. NOW, I believe it's time you've left. There's a woman out there that wants to see you." The familiar laid hands on Noland as he got ready to send the human on his way. "Don't tell anyone that we're here... See ya later."
Noland then found himself sitting in Montai's office. He looked around in shock, because he didn't see the familiar there with him. "How...? We still have to go WITH our targets when we do that... He just sent me off in an instant..."

"Perfect timing. I was just about to come and get you," Montai spoke up.
"...Wow...was that...a deified version of Drago...?" Noland thought in his head.
"You okay?"
"Uh, yeah. Yeah! I'm fine," Noland hastily responded.
"Okay then. Alana just woke up five minutes ago. You want to go see her?"
"..."
"I think you should."
"...Alright."
"Perfect! Andrew will excuse himself and leave you two alone for however long you wish to be there. I have to go train with Horridian, so I'll be occupied with that. Let him know if you need anything."
"Horridian's training...?"
"I know. Impossible, right? You know he evolved?"
"I HAVE to see that for myself. You don't mind if I watch when I'm done talking, do you?"
"Not at all. We will be in the battle arenas upstairs."
"Okay. Well...here it goes."
"Try not to sound too nervous. She's not going to kill you...unless you forgot the gift you were supposed to be making for her...?"
"...No...no, of course I didn't forget! It's just...not here..."
"Because it doesn't exist?"
"Tsk...you're becoming like Nero now..." Noland stormed out of the office and went to Nero's office to see how Alana was doing.
"Yep...I knew he'd forget."
