Name: Grey
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 25
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Personality: Extremely Stoic and unwavering. Due to circumstances in childhood, Grey is unable to show any emotions through any means. Any attempts at getting him to show any emotion fail. In addition, he is extremely loyal. Any task set in front of him will be completed, regardless of difficulty or duration.
Positive Traits: Loyal, unwavering, doesn’t react to unusual stimuli (In essence, nothing phases him), hard-working.
Negative Traits: Utterly emotionless, unable to say no to superiors.
Likes: Doing anything asked of him. Finishing a job.
Dislikes: Being unable to do what is asked of him. The being who caused his trauma as a child. Afraid of ropes.
Strengths: Never gives up. Nearly impossible to make him react in any way but calm.
Weaknesses: Unable to give up on a task, aversion to darkness, cannot touch anything resembling rope.
Physical Appearance: Not overly muscled, Grey is fairly average looking. You wouldn’t be able to pick him out of a crowd. He has brown eyes and a fair complexion. He does, however, have a tattoo of his parents on his back, showing the two emotions he can even remember: Affection, specifically for his parents, and vengeance towards the one who killed them.
Character Story: When he was a child, Grey’s parents always taught him to do any job put in front of him to the best of his ability. As he grew up, he took on more and more responsibility around the house, while still keeping up with school. Due to how much effort he put into everything, he obtained a balance of both street and book smarts. When he was 10, he was actively doing almost every chore around the house. From doing the dishes to washing clothes, he did it all. But that all changed on his 11th birthday. It started normal enough. He got up, did his morning chores, and went to school. Little did he know that would be the last time his mother wished him a good day. When he got home that day, there were shoeprints in front of his door. Bloody footprints. Rushing inside, there was a small trail of blood leading to the living room. Upon entering the room, he found his parents dangling from nooses connected to the ceiling, every body part sliced up. He was frozen in place as everything about his life fell apart in that very moment. Then, someone attempted to grab him. Distraught, Grey kicked the person in the groin. As they let go, he turned around, grabbed the person’s knife from their hand and stabbed the person in the stomach. When he locked eyes with the person, he saw his best friend fall in front of him. Every emotion imaginable came out with his tears at that moment, as he realized everything in his life was gone. He closed his friend’s eyes as he bled out, and stood back up. Looking back at his parents, he attempted to get them down, only to be unable to touch the ropes holding them up. He grabbed the phone and dialed the police and told them of what happened. After that, he was sent to a foster home. Because of his grief from losing his parents and killing his best friend, he couldn’t show any emotions. Many families met with him to see if they should adopt him, but his story turned them all away. Upon becoming fifteen, and having been out of school for nearly four years because he couldn’t afford it, he got his first job. Putting to work all the ideals his parents had instilled in him when he was younger, he quickly ascended the ranks and got promotion after promotion because of his endless work. But nothing about his job could fill the void that was left in childhood. Upon turning twenty four, he found himself out of a job as the company he worked for closed down. Seeing a grand opportunity, Destruction spoke to him in his dreams, twisting everything he remembered of his trauma. Within days, Grey’s memory of the even had completely changed. From him discovering his parents hanging dead and stabbing his best friend, to seeing his parents get murdered in front of him by his best friend, at the encouragement of a certain being. After enough memory alteration, Destruction sent down a Negative Shifter to recruit Grey, sending him on a path to discover one of his Generals, and find the one he believes killed his family. However, despite his changed memories, he is still afraid of ropes, which perplexes him to no end.
