Okay, if anybody remembers, I said a while ago I was planning something for Christmas. So, here it is. Anybody can join in, just make sure your inclusion makes sense, okay? Also, remember, this is meant to be something for Christmas, not a way for you to just start going on a rampage. Stick to what your character would probably do for Christmas, okay? Also, not canon for the General RPers, but things gained from this are usable in later chapters of our RP.
I looked away from my computer for a moment, rubbing my eyes. "How did my family prepare dinner again?" I turned back to my computer to take another look at the recipes I had found. "Was it baked or broiled? And then what about the rest?" I slumped in my chair and Leo came up to me.
"What are you doing?" He asked. "I've never seen you interested in cooking before." I gave a small laugh at that.
"That's because I never had a drive to do so before. But with Christmas, well," I sighed. "This doesn't leave this room, okay?"
"What are you talking about?" Asked Leo.
"Just keep this in mind as I tell you, okay? Around my friends, I always try to be as emotionless as possible. In fact, it's something I've done throughout my life. I always wear a mask of no emotion. But this close to Christmas, it's going to be hard to keep my emotions in check. Its been over half a year since we first came here, and even though I haven't said anything about it, I miss my family. My mom, my dad, my brother, my cousins, my grandmas, my aunts and uncles, everyone." I slumped in my chair. "I've never missed Christmas with my family before. This is going to be the first year I'm gone, and my last Christmas to just be a kid."
"What do you mean?"
"In my family, you get gifts for both Christmas and your birthday until you're eighteen. And with me being seventeen, with my birthday next month" I didn't need to finish. Leo was silent for a moment.
"Well, at least you trust someone enough to tell them, right?" I turned back to my computer and continued searching.
"How do I make my mom's locally famous BBQ meatballs again?" Leo sighed and headed away from my desk to look around the apartment. It was devoid of anything related to Christmas. He suddenly got an idea, and came back to me.
"Hey, Atom!" I turned to him.
"Yeah?"
"I just had a great idea! If you're homesick because of Christmas, then why not bring home here? I mean, surely you did stuff for Christmas, right?" I thought about it for a moment.
"Even if I could, its too late now to set it all up." I replied. "I mean, let's face it. There's a week before Christmas, which means I'd have to get all the decorations set up, get every recipe figured out, get it all made, and then on top of that make it so its like the actual holidays with my family. As much as I hate to say it, that's impossible for me. Christmas just isn't Christmas without my family." I slumped back into my chair. "It just wouldn't be the same." Leo took that as me saying I wasn't going to do it, and he went over to the window to think.
"I've never seen Atom like this before." He thought. "What could I do to get him out of this?" Leo began thinking of ways to help me, but was coming up short. "If only I knew more about Atom's Christmases, then I might be able to come up with something."
"I could help with that." Leo jumped as he heard Clate in his mind.
"Clate?" He asked. "Never do that again!"
"Sorry, sorry. Just couldn't help but overhear you. Anyways, I can give you Atom's memories of Christmases he's been to with his families, if you think that'd help." Leo thought for a moment.
"Just do it quickly. I don't want Atom to learn about this before it's ready."
"Got it. I'll get you the memories. In the meantime, start trying to find Ivan. He'll be able to help a lot."
"You sure? Nothing against him, but he isn't exactly the most knowledgeable person."
"Just trust me. Now, get going! It's no easy to travel around in the heavy snow." Leo looked out again to see the large flakes floating down.
"Okay, fine. I'm off. Just get me those memories!" Leo slowly opened a small panel of the window that Reginas helped him make, and closed it behind himself. He then floated out into the snowfall, trying to get any kind of lock with which to find Ivan. "This might be more difficult than I imagined." Clate returned to me, grinning to himself as he reentered my mind.
"The first piece is in place." He thought. "With Leo out there, once he finds Ivan, I'll tell Atom that Leo's gone missing. He charge out there, and without any clue where to go, I'll go back to Leo to help him and Ivan set up something to help Atom! Now I just have to hope nothing goes too astray. Actually, who am I kidding? Everything's going to fall apart, isn't it? Oh well, at least the overall plan is going to work." Clate began digging in my memories, trying to find what he promised Leo.
And there's the start. Like I said, join in if you want. Heck, ULI and Grimm don't even have to acknowledge this. Remember, this is just the starting part. Anything can happen! So if you want to get your foot in the door, go right ahead! Anything you want to try, you can try. Just keep your entrance something believable to something like this, okay? Hopefully something comes out of this!

Durant was in a shop nearby, looking over a few more.....practical wares. A military Surplus store simply had things he needed. Walking through the aisles, he looked over more of the higher end protective gear. Picking up a black Kevlar vest, he started to adjust it to see if it was concealable beneath clothing, certainly a less practical amount of protection, but highly useful for daily situations that take a turn for the worst. Better to have the protection and not need it than the opposite. Dharak was floating around Durant's shoulders, taking a look over the human gear. "Be Honest Durant, you have to admit your kind are masters of creating tools of War. It seems your history is plagued by nothing but conflict and death. It is a wonder the very world is not on fire at all times of the day!" Angra laughed as he observed some of the War History books. Turning to face his partner, "You are not wrong Angra, yet humans are capable of more than War. Even if that is what we specialize in. Just take the holidays for example, this one in particular. Saint Nick was more than a fable in certain time, he existed as a Minister to the church and sought to do more with the abundant wealth such a posistion afforded him. On the Eve of Chirstmas, when everyone was celebrating the birth of their savior he would be giving to the poor and needy, dropping bags of Gold down their chimneys during the service. He was not giving to the entire world like Santa Claus, but he was doing his part to improve the lives of others simply because he wanted to. The Human Spirit, the Caring and Kind Spirit that allows humans to commit acts not for themselves but for others. It is something worth celebrating, something worth protecting." he said in a more reminiscent tone.
"Come now Durant, while you may have a point. Humanity is defined by their Conflict. Without it, you would have no recognition for these acts of Kindness and compassion as you put it. Without Strife, without Bloodshed, Peace loses its meaning. Without War and Death, there is no Peace and Life. You are a Dark Soul Durant, stained by your actions yet they are noble. You have the spirit of a Dragon, you are Kin to I. It is why we understand each other so well, Why I trust you." Angra spoke in a Noble Tone, almost like a regal ruler speaking to his Family. Durant held his hand out as Angra landed. "You are correct, it is a sad truth, but it does define us. Come now, I am sure we can find you something for the Holidays. Probably find a new brush to clean you with, your other is getting old." he said as they left the shop. The Dharak taking his place on Durant's shoulder.

Narrator: Elswhere a mischievous Ivan, had a lot to deal with you know. Like a bad case of Christmas fever and a house full of snow. Despite all of this, all that he had on his plate. Ivan was happy but that soon would no longer be his fate. “And done.” Ivan cheekily rejoiced. Surrounding him was a sea of torn decorative wrapping paper. Ivan was more than excited for Christmas. He like any other mischievous fire breathing maniac had Christmas fever.
“Oh boy oh boy oh boy!” He squealed. “I hope Atom likes the gift I got him.” He picked a rectangular shaped box that was wrapped in red Frosty, The Snowman paper. He set it down and picked a smaller box. It had a blue snow flake covered wrap covering it.
“Even though he’s annoying, I got Grimm something too, what do you think Kauis you think they’ll like it?” Ivan’s aquos bakugan popped out from it ball form and laughed.
“For crying out loud could you please be quiet!” He hollered. This wasn’t like the usually pranks bakugan. It left Ivan in shock.
“Well!” He gasped. “Why are you so cranky, you Christmas grunch!?” Instead of a witty come back the just mumbled under its breathe before landing on the ground in ball form. Thinking of it Ivan simply shrugged his shoulders. He grabbed Kauis up and placed him on the nearby table in his living room.
“Well then, time to get this mess cleaned pronto!” Ivan stood up and within the next hour his house would be cleaned and a pile of wrapped gifts for his friends could be found stacked on top of each other under his giant Christmas tree. Being a rural kind of guy his tree was a little bit more personal as he literally cut one down from the surrounding trees found surrounding his home.
“I wonder what Atom’s doing hope he didn’t forget MY gift!!” He reached for his phone and dialed his friend awaiting a response.
(sorry about the late response hope this satisfies also the blue indicates Kauis speech but I’m on mobile right now and wanted to get my post posted before anything bad could happen. My cellular device has been wigging out lately so yeah I’m kind of upset.)

Two things ULI. One, really? The Narrator? Sometimes I wonder about you. And two, sorry to hear about your phone.
I continued working on my computer, adding to the recipes I had gotten figured out. "And then, as soon as its out of the oven, I need to serve it. Hm, how can I edit the recipe to make it storable for a longer period?" I continued trying to tinker a bit when my phone began vibrating. I quickly took it out of my pocket and looked at the caller, which gave me a number I didn't know. Of course, with the most recent update having broken all of my contacts, I didn't know if it was someone I knew or not. Sighing, I reluctantly answered it.
"You've won a free" I hung up. I hated telemarketers. I had just sat it down when it buzzed again. I once again brought it up and answered it. I didn't hear the starting of another telemarketer's spiel so I didn't hang up immediately. At the exact same time, Clate finished his stroll through my memory lane, having gotten everything he needed.
"That should be everything I need." He thought. "Now, to get back to Leo."
Leo was floating through the forest, avoiding random clumps of snow falling on him from the trees. "Why the heck is Ivan out here in the middle of freaking nowhere!?" A pile of snow landed on him, burying him. "Oh come on!" He worked his way out of the snow and continued on his way. "I blame Clate."
"What do you blame me for?" Leo jumped at Clate's voice.
"Clate! What did I tell you about doing that?!"
"Do you want the info you need or not?" Leo sighed.
"Fine. But I'm still trying to find Ivan. I know he's somewhere in this forest, just no clue as to where." Leo bumped into something solid. "Another tree?" He focused forward and noticed that it wasn't a tree that he had run into, but rather a wall instead. "Who would build a wall in the middle of a forest?" Leo began looking around and quickly figured out that it wasn't just a wall, but an entire building. "Why would there be" he quickly figured out who it belonged to. "Why would Ivan live in a forest?!"

Durant wrapped a scarf around his throat, the cold was annoying. He was used to warmer climates as it were, but nowadays this is the type of environment he found himself in. So he couldn't really do anything about it, so there was no use complaining about something he couldn't control. Angra was floating around, bouncing off tree tops causing piles of snow to fall to the ground. It was childish, buy Angra certainly liked to keep himself occupied by causing misery for all the small creatures he was knocking out of a tree with a torrential tide of White.
Looking on, he saw a wall and started to hear the whispers of words on the wind. Angra could see his concern, flying back and sitting on his scarf, Durant started to use the trees as cover. But the situations were less than Ideal, his black clothing against a mostly white background provided poor cover at best. It was unknown if this person was a hunter after him like they had been before, if they were then they were about to have a bad Christmas.
In the end though, it seemed it was not a Hunter, and that caused him to relax some and crunch a bit of snow in the consequence. He could see the building, and it was more than a bit odd.

Meanwhile Atom would detect Grimm teleporting into the city. But it is nowhere near him. Yet it is where a lot of shops are. Where the man without his mask whistles down the street.
"Singing a Christmas song. Looking out for myself. No gifts to give, no gifts to get. It's me and my bakugan tonight." He sings with three bakugan on his right shoulder, and one on his left.
"And eggnog all day." Two of the bakugan sing. One makes growling noises like it is trying to while the last one is growling.
"You all suck at singing." Serperios goes. Grimm's guardian bakugan. The one sitting alone.
"Cheer up Serperios it's the season of joy for humans. Try smiling." Goes Dreadcrash Dragon, or Darkheart. A nickname that Grimm has several for the guy.
"I calculate that he will say bah humbug." Goes the Helios.
"Grrrrrr" Goes Gore. He can't speak.
"I hate all of you." Goes the Serpent Hydra.
Grimm continues walking waiting for something to happen before causing any mischief himself.

What?! I didn’t know what to put XD. Anyways my response....
“ATOM!” Ivan screeched. This level of volume would damage anyone with ordinary hearing causing irritation.
“Oops sorry, anyways how ya been buddy?!” “I haven’t heard from you in a while and with Christmas just a few days away I wanted to see how you were.” Ivan modded his head as the two began to conversation. The conversation wasn’t much of s conversation. In between the loud obnoxious roars of laughter. The source was none other than Ivan. He was dramatic. He was having a conversation with Atom after all. Half of what was said would more than likely not be funny at all.
“Well that’s no good.” Ivan frowned. “I better get my gift to you and quick!” He hung up the phone and raced outside. He didn’t bother putting on shoes or a shirt only thing he wore was a pair of rugged torn jeans, whom the latter probably hadn’t washed for weeks, heck maybe even months. The cold didn’t bother Ivan. His affiliation with his Pyrus powers made him resistant to most cold temperatures. He jumped onto a nearby tree branch and gracefully swing into another tree. This cycle repeated itself until his home was nothing more than a speck behind him. He clung tight to the big rectangular box.

Leo could barely see Ivan as he left his house. "Ivan! Wait!" He called, to little effect. Clate appeared next to him.
"I'm using the last of my energy reserves, but I can stop him." Clate sent out a wave of energy to grab Ivan and pull him back in. It was a heck of a struggle to reach him, considering how fast he was going. However, the darkness did manage to reach him and grab him before he got to my apartment. Clate brought him back as fast as possible, yet it still took a good two or three minutes. And by the time he was brought back it was fairly apparent he was struggling. "Ivan! Relax! I needed to stop you because we have a plan!" Clate brought Ivan to a rest in front of him and Leo, still keeping him entrapped in darkness to keep him from running off. "Give me just a few minutes to explain." Clate quickly went through his plan of throwing me a Christmas party with several friends that could be considered family, and explaining to Ivan in a way that even he wouldn't be able to misunderstand the message. "And, of course, the reason I planned this isn't revealable yet, just know that it has to do with why Atom tends to seem extremely emotionless at times. So, all I have to ask is, are you in?"
"According to him, you'd be helpful in setting it all up. I'm guessing due to your speed, but I'm not sure. Anyways, I reciprocate what Clate asked you. Are you in to help?"

Watched as whatever the hell that was just basically dashed through the air using the trees as leverage, yet his observations led him to believe that this....person. Was further in tune with his Bakugan Attribute, as the subtle steam coming off of him hinted at a high body temperature to equalize out the cold. The theory had been dancing around in his head, yet he had yet to prove it. Humans....who were in tune enough, with the elemental powers of their Bakugan and by that the world from which their elemental power flowed, could in fact use the power themselves, even if only partially. He never really had a chance to prove it, yet ever since he got his Dharak, his stealth had been better than it ever had, the shadows practically welcomed him.
Angra stared at him, watching his human gaze after the other."Bah, a Pyrus user. Self important fire breathers the lot of them. Durant, why do you look so inquisitive, he was simply negating the cold with his attribute. Don't be to concerned, the majority of Pyrus users could probably do the same. When you learn to access Darkus, you will be capable of grand feats of power as well. It will come in time." Hearing Angra advise patience was something of a new one, yet he knew to trust him. He was far more knowledgeable about his world and powers than Durant, but it was the question of what he could do that now weighed on his mind. Something to be explored at a later date, but for now...it seemed there was something happening. It would probably be in his best interest to track them down and observe, information is key for any battlefield.

Grimm's sixth sense for trouble goes off. "You guys feel that." His bakugan nod. "Then lets say hello." Grimm teleports away to see Ivan being pulled by Clate, and somebody new. Who he drags away with a shadow. Flinging him into the air. Only to catch before he hits the ground. "Why hello there. Mind telling me who you are." He is in his Grimm outfit. Which means his face hidden behind a mask.
"Smells like fresh prey. Lets cause some bloody trouble." Goes Darkheart.
"Let the sir nameless introduce himself first." Grimm says in response.

Stared as he felt himself wrapped in something odd and formless, something like a shadow had grabbed him. It was not something that someone of his profession enjoys or tolerates. His shock and surprise however nudged something inside of him, sending a spark through his Darkus Attribute. The Shadows around him would warp, sinking into themselves before ripping free and moving him a few feet back as he was practically spat out of space.
Stepping back with a few quick movements, his KA-BAR knife already in hand as Angra floated in what could only be described as an angry way. His Dharak looked about ready Strike out...which was kinda strangely satisfying to watch. I mean...an angry floating Ball like Dragon? His knife had a subtle purple glow, something new was happening to Durant and right now his paranoia and distrust were fueling it.
If one was a physicist they would see the subtle warp in space around both Durant and his Knife, as if it sat heavy on Space. Seeing the floating bakugan around the stranger, he could assume he was a Dark Brawler of some sorts. "I am not your concern, that is who I am. You will get one warning.....whatever you are." he said as Angra bobbed up and down in the air threateningly? Maybe....it was hard to describe an Angry toy-like creature to be honest.

"Ooooo So scary." Grimm mocks him. "Look at me. I'm mister edgy, with a knife. Nice to meet you edge lord. the names Grimm by the way." He continues to make fun of Durant. "And for your little angry friend there tell his to chill." Grimm looks at Ivan. "Boy he can move. So you want to know something funny." Grimm readies his gauntlet. "I'm bored. Now you are my new toy." The gauntlet glows. "Gauntlet Power Strike."
"Finally some action. Grimm use me please please. I want to drain the blood from him." Goes Darkheart.
"Sorry but no can do this time. Serperios has been grumpy ever since we sang. Got to let him cut loose." Tells the over excited bakugn.

“Sure I would love to.” Ivan stopped midsentence. His heightened senses we’re picking up on Grimm and the strangers conversation. He could tell whoever was with Grimm was in trouble. More importantly he had the opportunity to give the latter his gift.
“You guys could this wait, I have to go take care of something.” Ivan gave them a weak smile before taking off again in the direction of Grimm, grabbing his small box before of course. Once in earshot at least from his estimation Ivan called out to Grimm.
“Grimm!” “HEY GRIMM!” He waved his hand wildly at him trying to get his attention. Ivan took one more final leap before landing next to Grimm.
“Here you go I gotcha a little something open it up!” He handed Grimm the box, and turned to the stranger.
“Oh hey, are you a friend of Grimms?” He asked politely.

Couldn't really help the situation he was in at the moment, pulling out a card yet was interrupted by the appearance of the Firey Monkey Man. It was probably to his benefit, he lacked information on this new target and honestly the way he talked put him on edge. Certainly no more than anyone else he had dealt with, but the lackadaisical way he spoke always pointed to overconfidence, yet most things about this guy screamed nutjob. Looking over the Pyrus user, he shook his head in the negative, and that was about all an answer he was gonna get.
Backing away, he shifted through space again on instinct and put the pyrus user between him and the Shadow User, a useful distraction he might prove to be. Though it wouldn't be farfetched to see the other one ignore the loud one, and be stubborn. He simply would have to leave in any way he could, it would be pointless to do battle with no information. Though...if he had to, it would happen.

"Oh Ivan thank you. I got you nothing for I expected well nothing. Great now I owe." He says sarcastically. He reluctantly takes the gift. "I will open it after the brawl. Now mister McEdge do you mind." Grimm cuts off his escape. "I'm sorry to disappoint you but you aren't getting away so easily." He hold a bakugan in hand. "Do you intend to be a coward. Your bakugan looked like he wanted to fight so much." As clearly shown Grimm for the most part disregard Ivan
Ivan would notice he has guest with him. The three are cheering Grimm on, and booing Durant.
"Hey Ivan get us a better view. And don't ask about your name. I listened to Grimm." Goes Darkheart. A bakugan Ivan does not recolonize. Gore is there and so is a Helios.
