The Nonets had their guards up from getting hit with all of the incoming fire. They didn't look like they were taking much damage though. The Equilibrians didn't seem all that concerned just yet.
"Hmph...ability activate! Chaos Ability X..." Lucio activated. Chaos energy seeped out of the altar and shaped into a foul ability card that descended into Lucio's grasp. "So, one of you said we lacked the ability to build suspense? Watch this."
The ability released energy that surged into the Chaos Rulers and the Nonets. It tampers with the evolutionary energy of an individual by forcing the victims to use it on-demand. Since the Chaos Rulers were already expended from having their internal chaos energies flooded with energy from the altar, this action resulted in all of their deaths. Betadron and Worton were on the brink of death themselves considering the Transformation Chaosmode Extreme had already pushed them past their bodily limitations.
"I mean...sure, you're an asshole that'll spend an eternity in hell for doing that, but you didn't fix your problem..." Tank shrugged.
"We're not done, so be quiet," Lara shushed him. Before Tank could tell her off, Betadron did the unthinkable. He turned to his left and grabbed Worton. Confused and struggling to get free - even stabbing Betadron multiple times without any signs of hurting him - Worton was subjected to an agonizing blaze of hate energy. Betadron did the same to himself until their bodies were completely destroyed...
"..." Not knowing what to say, Tank continued to watch as the energy from the Nonets and the Chaos Rulers flowed into the altar. A dark flame burst from it that turned the entire planet's hue even more purple than it was previously.
"Chaos Ability X, and everything else connected to it, are connected to my soul of chaos..." an evil-sounding voice stated to all of them.
"Tank...with all due respect...I wouldn't piss those guys off anymore..." Gladion recommended as he started to get really serious.

"...Did you really!?" Bruce angrily questioned the Equilibrians. "What?" Lucio playfully responded. "But how is that possible?" Kenta wondered. "Unless...Xecarlos' power was directly tied to this altar, so by his vanquisher not destroying it..." "...He or she allowed for someone else to gain access to his power," Bruce finished. "I guess we can assume what comes next then." Bruce looked like he was nodding when a portal opened in front of the altar. A large, demonic-looking dragon stepped out of it. "...Glax..." Bruce regrettably sighed, which is short for Glaxicortroid. Unfortunately, this iteration may be on the same wavelength as it was when it faced Evoblast/Chaos Fury's Jimmy Kyudai, because it was being pumped with the energies of the Chaos Rulers and the Nonets in their Transformation Chaosmode states. "Don't get all teary-eyed on me now. It just got here, the almighty power of Legendary Glaxicortroid, the third Original Bakugan and is said to be the most powerful Bakugan in all existence," Lucio said with a maniacal laugh this time. "Extreme ability activate! Absolute Darkness!"Glaxicortroid brought all of the combatants into its own personal space of darkness. Within, it would be able to exercise its absolute power without fear of destroying anything important, namely the planet itself or the altar. Then, several ghostly hands emerged out of its back and bombarded the opposition. It was a never-ending barrage. "Zerushion! Legendryion! Vampyrion! Come! Face your ancient foe!" Bruce called. His Bakuscanner lit up after he said this. A powerful barrier was erected around everyone that shielded them from Glax's attack. The trio emerged from Bruce's BakuScanner and looked down on the demonic Bakugan. "Weren't you defeated by a weaker form of this Glaxicortroid, Olympians?" Lara asked them. "What makes you think you'll survive against a superior force when there's only two of you when you had your whole little army last time?""Two reasons," Kenta started off. "Number one, the Olympian gods found favor with us again after that war." "Two...one of them is already stronger than my Diabolos Destroyer and Calvin's Bladerus...and there's three of them..." Bruce said with an evil smile. "And I'll add another reason... They can fuse with us..." "They can do what?" Lucio said with a hint of surprise. The Olympian Gods transformed their bodies into orbs so they could fly into Draykus' body. In doing so, they temporarily granted him their power, transforming him into Shadowknight Draykus and his Battle Key into Fusion Turbine. Draykus' color scheme constantly shifted between white, chrome, and black, each one representing the power of the three Olympian gods. "You, having the most powerful Bakugan in existence? Step aside," Bruce scoffed, as the focused power of the Olympian gods made Draykus exceed even them. "Ability activate! Flames of Judgment!" Bright dextra-colored stars appeared across every available place on Draykus' body that could release energy. Flames were then unleashed upon Glaxicortroid that threatened to engulf the entire dark dimension that they were sent to. "Like I'm gonna let that happen! Forbidden ability activate! Nexus Glisheria X!" Lucio activated. Glaxicortroid quickly shot a huge ball of dark energy forward. He then engulfed it with the overflowing amount of energy that had been accumulated thus far, which turned the ball into a sea of everlasting dark power that collided with Draykus' attack. The lights being emitted from Draykus' attack made it nearly impossible to tell what the result of the clash was, but there was an explosion. From that collision, the dimension of darkness destabilized, and everyone was returned back to the Mausoleum they were in. Glaxicortroid had white cracks along its body, and so did Draykus. The godly power Draykus wielded left his body, causing him to kneel on the ground in pain. This didn't mean that Draykus didn't win the exchange though... "No..." Lucio muttered. "Yes..." Bruce countered. "I have to admit... That was probably the most awesome thing you've ever done..." Kenta commended. "Nice shot, dude..." "I don't believe that..." Lara denied. "No matter... Glaxicortroid is injured, but your usage of your gods power has left you unable to move. Now, we'll finish you!" Glaxicortroid blew a puff of smoke from its mouth. The power it had before somehow decreased. It would appear that the Equilibria X ability may have been nullified, because the colors around the planet returned to normal.

Gorem saw that as his cue to step up the plate and give them all the home run that they needed. Despite all of this talk about being the most powerful in existence, Gorem showed complete dedication to shutting all of this down. "This all seemed to work out just as I wanted. Bad guy and girl like you gets a power-up, a hero lays the surprise smack-down that weakens you, and then the cavalry comes to finish you off," Allen laid out. "You might as well get one last prayer service or whatever, because this whole place is coming down with you two in it." "Before that, I want in on this contest of champions since we're all flexing our muscles here," Gorem revealed. "I think it's about time we put the fear of the Legendary Soldiers in you.""You and what army?" Lucio challenged. "Us," Allen quickly answered as he readied his BrawlX for battle. Lara scoffed at Allen's attempt at bravery from how she saw it. While she acknowledged him and Tank to be extremely powerful opponents, she believed that even they would be unable to face an even more powerful version of Glaxicortroid.
"This isn't a game," Lara informed Gorem before activating an ability. "Forbidden ability activate! Nexus Gravitation X!" In an attempt to catch the Resistor duo off guard, Glax emitted a strong gravitation pull that began pulling all of its enemies. Glax also received a huge power boost that was proportionate to the amount of opponents it had to deal with. This was seen when rings momentarily popped up around its mouth. It looked like it was about to unleash hell on Equilibria. Too bad Allen had a counter for that.
"Ability activate. Fist of the Juggernaut," Allen plainly activated. Gorem's hands started glowing with brown energy. However, rather than hitting the dumb dragon personally, all Gorem did was perform an uppercut with his right fist, and a giant stone formation in the shape of an arm and fist erupted from underneath Glax. Glax was surprised with a staggering blow to the chin, which made the upcoming beam miss them entirely.
The beam did pierce right through the ceiling and up onto the surface. Since the structure they were in was underground, slabs of earth rained down from above, but a cave-in didn't happen just yet.
"You know what? You're right. I kinda needed it to be clear that lives were at stake here," Allen said in response to Lara's idiotic comment.

Tank was a little bit shocked of what he saw Allen do. He wasn't surprised at the idea of Allen stopping the attack. It was HOW he did it.
"Seems Silva improved his ability at range," Tank thought to himself like he never saw it before. "In that case, this should be easier."
Tank saw this as an opportunity to reveal a new trick as well. He had just the ability to do it, and - assuming it works - it will trivialize this entire battle. Judging by Tank's eyes glowing blue to show that his innate talents were activated, it was clear that he had already figured out a way to beat them.
"Ability activate! Weapon of the Gods - Bident of Hades!" Tank declared with a smirk on his face. A portal to the underworld opened in front of Gladion. A two-pronged staff rose to the surface to be grabbed by Gladion.
"Rule number one when trying to take over the universe. If you're going to be assholes and steal someone else's power, make sure no one else can take them back," Tank suggested to the Equilibrians.
A darkus aura splashed underneath the bident as it covered the weapon in its entirety. Gladion pointed it towards the altar to form a deep connection with it. Since the people from before were sacrificed to power it, Gladion can now use Hades' power to control the energies that are being used.
To get rid of Glax in a timely manner, Gladion chose to rip both of the Nonets power out of the altar. In doing so, Gladion was able to strip Glax of his ability to utilize Chaos Ultimode Extreme. It was now a hollow shell of its former self. The power that was being used against Gladion and Gorem was now to weak to affect them all that much.
"What exactly did you just do!?" Lucio screamed out.
"Nothing really," Tank shrugged. "Just keep something in mind. It doesn't matter how strong you are. If your main advantage is taken away, you could die. Common sense 101."
"Tsk...you did something to the altar..." Lucio started to realize. The aura it was emanating got weaker...drastically weaker. "Ability activate! Chaos Vortex!"
Glax swiped his claws to tear open rifts to dimensions that were filled with harmful amounts of Haos and Darkus energy. This energy was expelled towards all of the enemies.
"Hmph. 'Original Bakugan' my ass!" Tank loudly insulted. "Silva, hit 'em again!"

"He said it, not me," Allen communicated with his opponents so he doesn't get blamed for the destruction he's about to cause. "Let's see what your power can do to this. Ability activate. Goliath Bastille."
"Oh boy," Gorem said with excitement. "Here it goes." Gorem balled his fists and bumped them together. When he did, a large, earthen construct rose to shield everyone from Glax's attacks. Rather than being in the shape of a large familiar like his old Goliath Fortress was, this one was an actual fortress. It easily withstood the impacts from Glax's ability with some very minor wear and tear. That wasn't the fun part though.
The construct weighed so much that it began to collapse the tower they were in. Everyone except for Glax were sent to the ground, going straight down the historical tower. They were kept safe inside of Gorem's castle, so they were fine. Glax wasn't though. It was subjected to the collapse of the grand Equilibrian building.
"Sorry about the rough ride," Gorem apologized. "Everyone okay?"
"If I knew that was gonna happen, I would've warned everyone. Then again, who would've thought we'd bring down the whole place just like that?" Allen started thinking. It was taking a while, but he was starting to get a better understanding of just how strong he was. "Oh well. I'm sure they're still alive though. Tank, if you and Gladion want to go out there to fix it, be my guest."

Tank nodded in great approval of Allen's power. The structure was great and all, but there was a certain buildup of energy that was coming from it. It was if it was accumulating great power just by being around...
While Allen probably didn't have to do this, the fact that he did made this battle more fun than it was supposed to be. This was a time to be serious though, so he couldn't say that out loud.
Glaxicortroid rose from the rubble with a lot of injuries. Its movement caused the chunks of slab on top of the Equilibrians to move as well. It's to the Resistors' misfortune that a barrier shielded them from being crushed, which also means that the altar was still around as well. Even then, the damage was already done...
"These guys are too strong..." Lara concluded. "We need to do something fast..."
"I refuse to believe that two guys from another universe is enough to match Glaxicortroid like they are. It's just not possible!" Lucio roared.
"What isn't?" Gladion questioned them as the gate to Gorem's castle was opened. A bunch of Goliath Fortress avatars walked out of it to greet them. Gladion was hitching a ride on the lead one. Tank and Allen were at the top of the castle walls hanging out, watching some guys get beat up.
"It looks like you guys are on the ropes, so I'll let you off on a mercy rule if you tell the gods here that we beat you. Okay?" Tank erroneously proposed. He was going to off them anyway, but he was just wondering what they were gonna say.
"You little- Ability activate! Chaotic Destructor!" Lucio defiantly activated. Glaxicortroid roared with enough ferocity to split the ground beneath them. Out of it came a powerful shockwave aimed at the opposition. The devastation would've been profound...except it didn't quite work like that.
The Goliath Bastille continued to stand tall due to the edges of the structure being firmly rooted in the ground. The Goliath Fortresses absorbed the hit from Xecarlos to the point where Glax's situation hadn't changed at all.
"Let me show you a real ability. Ability activate! Weapon of the Gods - Bow of Apollo!" Tank declared.
A portal opened above Gladion's head to drop off a golden recurve bow. Gladion took it, aimed at Glax, and blitz it with what seemed like an agonizing fury of sun rays. See, unlike Artemis' silver bow that delivers a painless death, Apollo's bow takes delight in dealing out punishment. It's arrows are like the agonizing flames of the sun. Its travel time through the air made it look like they were the sun's rays pelting Glax and peeling away its scales.
Glax collapsed on the ground with a lot of its scales tore off of it, revealing a fleshy, disgusting sight of icky skin underneath. It continuously tried to get up, but Gladion continued to shoot at it.
"I can't believe a Bakugan this weak wants to destroy us for no other reason than to kiss your sorry asses," Tank spat. "I'm getting real sick and tired of you terrorists trying to run shit. There's good people on this planet and across the universe who are fed up with your bullshit, and I'm about to make sure they see an end to it."
"Lucio...!" Lara called as she was getting really concerned. It was sounding like Tank was about to finish them off.

"Don't bother coming up with something now. You bozos had enough time to think of something smart instead of making this mess," Allen interrupted. "I think it's about time we put the ancient one to bed. What do you say, Gorem?"
"I say why haven't we done it yet," Gorem responded. "I feel like we should be nice, so let's just take it easy on the explosives."
"...Explosives...?" Lucio said with a hint of fear.
"Don't get scared now. It ain't all that bad," Allen falsely promised. "Just in case...see ya later. Ability activate. Gravitron Doom."
The Bastille itself had pulses of purple energy charge on the top of its walls. The Goliath Fortresses also charged up energies in the palm of their hands. Everyone sent what they had into the ground so they could burrow towards the enemies. What the enemy didn't know was that this took no effort on Gorem's part since he just transferred the potential energy he gathered from this thing being up, but it was irrelevant since they won't get to see its benefits later on.
Once the energy got within range of the enemies, giant pillars of energy erupted from underneath. The plethora of pillars ultimately made a big ass column of energy that completely vaporized the evil Bakugan.

"..."
"..."
The Equilibrians were speechless, but Tank wasn't. He was smiling and clapping at the sight of Glaxicortroid being killed in front of them and watching all of their ambitions get crushed.
"Have to say...I'm a little jealous. I kinda wanted to do that, but...if anyone here deserved to do that, it was you, Gorem," Gladion conceded. Tank was having himself a great time laughing at the display.
"I've never seen him act like that before. That was great," Tank gladly appreciated. "Thankfully, we saved the best for last. Guess what's going to happen to you two."
"You're...going to kill us...?" Lara guessed.
"You have no idea how much I want to, but no," Tank denied. "Something far worse than that."
"...Then what...?" Lucio wondered. That's when Wavern appeared right in front of them.
"Hi," Wavern greeted.
"Oh...no..." Lucio groaned.
"Oh yes," Genesis Dragonoid said as he appeared in the area out of nowhere. Naga and the Dharaknoid followed.
"Someone's in trouble," Tank said in a mocking tone.
"You've all kept me waiting an hour for a failed attempt at universal domination," Dharak seethed.
"We're...sorry...?" Lara tried to apologize.
"That apology is the first good thing you've done.... It's also the last," Dharak concluded. "Abolition." Both Lucio and Lara froze as they were. They dissolved into Dextra particles that dissolved near instantly, leaving zero traces of them ever being there.

The Olympians were visibly stunned at what they witnessed. Both Allen and Tank showed power and skill above anything they had seen before. They made it look so easy. One of them probably could've ended this whole thing by themselves...
"That's a little unbelievable, but...we saw it happen," Kenta surrendered. "I guess you weren't joking when you said that Allen was strong. I knew you weren't, but...I didn't expect that at all... His friend is something else too..."
"...That took me by surprise too," Bruce admitted. "I doubt Calvin himself could take them on... Never thought I'd see the day..."
Genesis Dragonoid stepped up to the altar and placed his palm on it. A bright, Dextra flame burst forth. A tiny orb came out of this fire that touched down on the ground. An Equilibrian appeared in its place.
"Your Highness," Genesis formally called, showing that he had brought Tyler Royerus back from the dead just as Wavern said he would.
"...Genesis Dragonoid...!?" Tyler gasped before falling to his knees in worship.
"Uhh...please don't do that..." Genesis insisted.
"Okay..." Tyler complied. "What happened?"
"Long story short, you were assassinated by your closest friends, and they tried to resume what Xecarlos started. Those four brought them down," Genesis explained, pointing to the Resistors and Olympians.
"Olympians...here...?" Tyler said with great shock. "...I swear to you...I knew nothing about this plan... Well, obviously since they killed me..."
"..."
"We've changed... I can promise you that... Please..."
"...So have we," Bruce understood. "I know what it's like to be under the umbrella of evil. I won't cast judgment on you..."
"...Thank you..." Tyler responded. "Thank you all..."
"I will rebuild this place just as it was before Lucio and Lara acted, but this altar will be rendered inactive permanently," Genesis Dragonoid decided. A couple of orbs left the altar and touched down beside Tyler. These were the souls of the Chaos Rulers. They were important in moving the civilization forward, so they were granted resurrection this time. "This will be the last chance... Lead this planet to a new, brighter age. If this happens again...my brother will destroy you. Do you understand?"
"Yes," Tyler accepted. "I will not let this go to waste. You have my word."

With the Equlibrian threat defeated once and for all, the Olympians saw no further need to be there. Bruce and Kenta were recalling their forces and assembling their battle ship formations so they can head out.
Bruce, Kenta, and the Resistors outside of the Equilibrian castle. It looked like there was an ongoing conversation there. In the meantime, the three Olympian gods were conversing with Genesis Dragonoid personally.
No one has to say it, but the Gods have talked enough for one season. It was time to let the mortals take the spotlight for now. They did everything after all.
"So...I guess the gods had our plan figured out, huh?" Kenta gathered from what Allen and Tank supposedly said. "Well, I won't lie to ya. The thought did cross our minds. The chaos energy in their bodies can spell disaster for the whole multiverse if left unchecked, so - aside from our historical differences - we were gonna just waste them all and go on about our business. Of course, that all changed when we found out the gods were here."
"Clearly, they didn't seem all that interested in what they were doing; otherwise, Mr. Dharak would've just erased them from the start," Allen figured. "I would've preferred that actually. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit disappointed."
"I don't blame you," Kenta saw. "You looked like you could've handled this all yourself. In fact...both of you are something else entirely. I've never seen anything like it. Taking on a god like that so easily..."

"Let's just say that happens often where we come from, especially from the ones who like to play 'god'," Tank spoke up. "I won't deny that whatever that thing was had SOME power, but when you take from others and think what they had is yours, what are you when you can't hide behind their accomplishments anymore?"
"Good point," Kenta agreed. "I'm really hoping that these folk understand this and don't implement another practice that takes advantage of their energy. It'd be really sad if we have to come back here to deal with them, or...suffer the wrath of the gods..."
"I think it's gonna happen again," Tank believed.
"Awww. Don't say that," Kenta urged.
"Believe me. If something is illegal, people are gonna want to do it. Happens all the time," Tank shrugged. "Though, when it does, I'm hoping the Dharaknoid doesn't wipe ALL these guys out. It sucks when the few ends up screwing the whole race over no matter what you say or do. Kinda like someone we know."
"Would you have stopped us if we tried to destroy them?" Kenta wondered since Tank said that.
"Of course," Tank quickly answered. "The original plan was to fight you two anyway. Your soldiers were complaining about your friend being a glory hog. Obviously, there words, not mine."

"At one point, they were right," Bruce began to clarify. "Back when our late queen was in power, I was only interested in an 'end justifies the means' approach to move up the ranks. I did whatever I could to make sure my name was signed off of any major assignments, even if it included doing something unethical. I'd usually intimidate others into stepping aside. Other times, I'd fight them just to make an example out of them."
"I'm not that way now, but the soldiers haven't seen enough of that change to believe it. To them, I am the same Force Crasher that served Sayomi like a vicious dog. I never cared about being looked at as a good person or anything, but knowing that I still carry that embarrassment with me is annoying. There's nothing I can do about that right now though, so I just have to deal with it."
After saying that, Genesis Dragonoid made his way over to speak with him and Kenta first.
"Olympians," Genesis called.
"Genesis Dragonoid," Bruce answered.
"I see that Olympia has been moved to this universe by accident," Genesis started off before asking, "Could you remain here until the Collision is averted?"
"So that's the name you're giving this phenomenon?" Bruce wondered.
"That's what it is and always has been since the beginning of history," Genesis replied.
"Would something happen if we didn't?" Bruce asked just to make sure, not that he was going to defy him.
"You could kill everyone in the multiverse or get destroyed by Dharak before you do," Genesis revealed.
"Then we'll remain where we are," Bruce decided. "If there's anything the Olympian gods can do to help, let us know."
"I appreciate that," Genesis thanked. He then looked towards the Resistors. "A deal's a deal. I'll send you two back to your Earth. Also, we'll be limiting contact for a while since we need to repair everything, so be careful out there. We can't save you if things go wrong from here on out."

Back on Gundalia...
Tonya was stuck in an endless loop of thinking about her family. She had work on her desk, but she just couldn't pay attention to it. She was frozen in thought to the point where she didn't notice Noland walking in. She randomly chose to look up. As expected, she was shocked to see him appear so suddenly, but she brought herself back to reality within a couple of seconds.
"Hey, Noland..." Tonya sighed. "I'm sorry I didn't see you there. I'm just...going through the motions I guess..."
She didn't really understand why Noland was there, so just in case he wanted to get right to the elephant in the room, she just posed the question.
"So...what's the decision...?" she asked.

Noland ignored how long it took her to realize he was there. He just got straight to the point. There wasn't much need to talk about anything else.
"I can't speak for Kendrick, but for me, I'm just glad that I have one biological parent alive. I...haven't enjoyed being left in suspense for so many years about where you and Dad were," Noland expressed. "In fact, you being gone hasn't affected me as much as it did when I was younger, especially now that I'm hearing all of what has happened. Kendrick is going to be a lot more difficult though."
"Kendrick has always craved the attention of an actual parent, not a grandmother or other family member. He had limited interaction with Dad as far as he can remember, and I can guarantee that he doesn't remember you for obvious reasons. All of what we went through has hit him hard. I'm almost afraid to know just how he's feeling, because I feel like it's a lot worse than what I've experienced."
