When Tank heard Alex say that, he nearly burst out laughing at the absurdity of this situation. The only thing stopping him from smiling and laughing was the fact that him and Markus were screwed.
"Like hell I am," Tank soundly rejected. "You just spent half your life jacking off to the fact that we got arrested. I'll be staying in here. Thank you very much."
The officer was giving this situation a wary look, because...it did look really strange. It was almost like this Silver Knight was happy about this. It wasn't in the officer's place to judge though. If this was what the Silver Knights wanted, then he has no choice.
"I will see if the paperwork for their transfer was submitted," the officer relayed to Alex. "Once everything is clear, I'll make sure they're cuffed and ready to go. I don't want these two giving you any trouble."

Markus sighed as he saw the officer just doing what he was supposed to do. It was only a matter of time before him and Tank got thrown into the lion's den. Alex being the one to take them was even more concerning. Markus is well aware that Alex has a personal score to settle with him already. This situation is just too perfect for Alex to pass up. That's what Markus thought at the very least.
"I'm guessing you're not here to talk about the man who died at all. You've had plenty of time to put us in a room and interrogate us," Markus noted. "What are you Knights really after? Huh?"

"Interrogation is not my area of expertise. As I already said- I am here to pick you two up and bring you to Silver Knights' HQ." Alex responded to Markus's question. Asuka specifically ordered for those two to be brought to HQ without letting Alex or anyone of his or lower rank know about her intentions. Only God knows what that woman is doing inside that mysterious brain of hers.
"To address the elephant in the room- I have no intention of harming you. Least I can do is admit I acted out of emotion back there when I attacked you- which is a thing we humans do when someone hurts our loved ones." Alex admitted. He was not proud of what he did, but he did not feel shame or regret about it either. Even though he has no more intention of attacking he feels what Markus did to Andrea was beyond wrong. "You acted out of emotion and killed entire department without investigating who truly was conspiring and responsible and who was not involved. Lydia knows Andrea better than anyone; Andrea would rather harm herself than bring others even close to danger. Now- trauma you gave her caused her to become a perfect Maverick host. Nobody knows where she is anymore..." Alex started speaking about events that unfolded quite a long time ago. Markus should remember those better than anyone else- he has no right to ever forget about that. Even if he would lose all his memories one day he has no right to lose that one. That is how Alex felt about it.
"Know what orders were given to police and soldiers if they see her? Shoot to kill, Markus. Shoot. To. Kill." He said in an annoyed tone. "Brings me back to when your Resistor leader was in that situation and now he is, again, a hero. Seems nobody is learning the lesson about killing, but it is America after all." He sighed after that and went back to his normal tone. It was not worth quarreling over it.
Alex was not very pleased with the situation, but he was handling it as best as he could. Every time he achieves something it just so happens something is taken away. Such is life and one can expect it, but it does not have to be that way. He often wonders if he is doing something wrong that his family, his friends and loved ones always happen to be targets of something. He rarely complains about it, but it has become a bothersome thing to work on, too. He is just tired of fighting an endless battle against death and suffering; it is like living in a middle of a war zone instead of living in a city.
He shrugged at Markus's question about what Knights were after. "Most of us are after peace- it's getting harder to achieve when people with unresolved medical conditions are given power... Namely, that general Sargon. As for Knights like Ms.Izumo your guess is as good as mine." That was as much as he knew. Most Knights joined the organization because they wanted to achieve peace, but then more and more races and powers were getting involved and it became increasingly difficult. No matter your power and diplomacy you are just one organization compared to entire universe. The fact that inhabitants of Earth are being troublesome and trying to 'fight' Silver Knights in one way or another does not help. Even higher Knights question among themselves how general Sargon even got into his position when he is acting like some irresponsible child. It is like having a president who is openly racist, irresponsible, ignorant and childish- imagine living in a country like that. As for Asuka- her goals are still a mystery to everyone; including Marshal. Though she has been doing an excellent job of keeping Knights together and solving world's problems.
"She is not unreasonable, at least. If she wants you in our 'custody' I can assure you do not need to be worried for your lives or health. No need to complicate- I'll drop you off and be on my way; she'll say whatever she has to say to you and probably just let you go within 24 hours." He assured them. It would probably be over 24 hours, but it would still be nothing worse than being here with these donut-munching 'intellectuals' who still live in a world of imagination dreaming they have any relevance or impact on today's crime. Silver Knights are ruthless? House cat is ruthless if compared to a worm. These people are just weaklings- Silver Knights can go almost anywhere because they have the authority and necessity.

Markus waited until Alex finished talking before offering his own take on what was going on. He gave a loud sigh before speaking up.
"Listen. We know why you're here. It's not like you were given the order from Asuka ten seconds ago. You knew about it the whole time you were standing there watching us," Markus scoffed. "I bet you had that same look as Victoria and the other Angels while they were riding Noland's ass up and down the DMV. You can go ahead and tell Asuka to leave me right in here. I have far better chances with the criminal justice system than I do with those shady motherfuckers."

While Knight was having a quarrel with the two another person entered the building, going to the same area. Victoria Nelson, strongest of Eden's Seven Angels, appeared. While people hear of her quite often she is a rare sight outside of Eden's HQ- because she mostly deals with paperwork while other Angels deal with anything else. Since she was here something must have been very serious. She had a faint smile on her face listening to Alex trying to reason with Resistors so they would be taken by Silver Knights.
"I see you are up early, Mr.Andersen." She spoke revealing her presence. "I'm sorry I have to disappoint you, but I will be taking them instead. Asuka would not mind as long as the job is done, would she now?"
Unlike other Angels, Victoria looks down on their Knight counterparts. She considers the group a waste of money and their ranks to be too low to even speak to Admirals. She wonders why Asuka would even waste time giving direct orders to this... riffraff with alien powers and no development over the years whatsoever. Zenovia was different for she was, at least, useful and resourceful- this guy... not remotely. It would have been better if Kyuki actually killed him and took his powers; Kyuki would die anyways and this little flea would be gone along with him. Victoria could not afford to act in hostile manner, however.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me..." Tank sighed. At this point, he had enough of this bullshit. It was already bad enough that - of all people - Alex was the one trying to take him and Markus into custody. Now that Victoria is here, they must be in some deep shit. If Victoria is showing up to personally confront someone, you know you're in trouble.
"Markus...I hate to admit it, but...you're a lot better than I was when it came to pissing people off... And that's not a good thing..." Tank groaned. He then turned his attention to the two "rivals" who may or may not have conflicting interests. Tank truly didn't care about what they were thinking of, but he knew what he was going to do for himself though.
"I'm gonna agree with Markus here. Rare, I know," Tank expressed. "Being locked up doesn't sound so bad now. If Markus of all people wants to stay away from you guys, then I'm going to prison."

"This isn't the time, Will!" Markus barked at Tank who was probably making him mad on purpose for giggles. There's really nothing funny about this. He knew why they were, but he didn't know what they wanted. All he knew was that none of them could be trusted, especially Victoria. Emotions in their line of work may be detriments for the most part, but people deserve to be happy. Noland didn't deserve what got done to him. Petra didn't either. Not at all...
"It's not like we can resist or anything... They're probably carrying something on them to use against us if we're not compliant..." Markus thought. "We need to get out of here...or have some way to get them out of here...but what...?"

Andrew stuck around to see and hear what was going down at that cell. Seeing Victoria waltz in made this situation more dangerous than it should be. She probably has her Bakugan overlooking the facility, so Seiki could be in danger... He did want to advise Seiki that there was probably a sniper in the area, but he couldn't say that while he was still near the action. He didn't want to take his eyes off of what he was seeing either. The best he could do was start up a conversation with the CO that just came back. He knows that Victoria knows her stuff, so she could possibly catch him... "Code 54!" an officer shouted over the radio. "..." "..."In this facility, the code meant no movement in the hallways. This means that no one could leave the facility now since they couldn't go in the hallways. As for the reason why... The same rats that Seiki fed earlier started growing. Their skin was turning a little purple, their teeth were getting sharper, and they were beginning to grow a second head. They became big enough to take up one side of the hallway, and they were pretty hungry. Their screeching and their movement was shaking the facility. "What the hell is that...?" the officer asked out of concern. "That sounds and feels more than a Code 54..." Andrew expressed. That's when they heard a lot of screaming from various inmates and officers. "...Um...central...?""Be advised. Multiple mutant rats are in the facility. Officers responding," Central announced. ( Boss Theme) "Well...might as well check this paperwork before I die," the officer decided. "Try not to pack too much negativity in your head. You're on the job. We'll make it," Andrew advised.

Post by Seiki Maki on Aug 9, 2019 10:40:41 GMT -5
Seiki was looking around the Yards and daydreamed. She performed here before back when this park was beginning to grow, and when singing was her way of life. Lost in thought over reminiscing her previous lifestyle, Seiki almost missed the sound of the word 'pack'. As she was beginning to act on it, a passerby got wind of her presence and wanted to say hello.
"Woah..." the guy said. He looked like he was sweating bullets. "I didn't expect you to be this hot..."
"...I'm gonna leave now..." Seiki sighed.
"...Okay...I'm sorry...I'm very awkward..." the guy sighed as well.
"There's someone else. It's okay," Ahio consoled the poor boy. Normally, Seiki would do something in retaliation for that comment, but she disregarded it completely. She just walked away.
Ahio followed closely behind. "So...how am I doing this again?" Ahio wondered.
"Fly fast," Seiki shrugged. Even she didn't know how they were going to do this. Playing it by ear was the only thing she knew how to do. "Chrono Freeze?"
"I could do that. Easy," Ahio assured her. This was an ability used to move at a speed so fast that Ahio would perceive time at a much slower rate than everyone else. To others, it would make it seem like she hasn't moved at all. This was their ticket to getting inside of the facility and watching their surroundings all at once. Clearly, this was a taxing ability, so it wasn't going to be used for anything more than the bare minimum.
Ahio laid hands on Seiki so that she could experience this change in perception as well; however, with her being a human, she wasn't going to last for too long. Ahio flew her into the facility where they both went through the building normally without any problems. The only disturbance were the rats though. They looked like plague-ridden monstrosities who were ready to munch on human flesh.
Seiki and Ahio were sure to stay out of everyone's way as they moved through the facility. Their movement pattern made it look like they knew where they were going. That's because they did. The equipment they placed around the facility were small sensor darts designed to simulate the area based on various factors such as power levels, size of the structure, flow of electricity, etc. This laid out a map of how everything looked from the CIA base in No Man's Land where employees were monitoring the situation.
While they couldn't see it in real time, Seiki and Ahio found the location of where they were keeping Gladion and Gargulion. There were a lot of guards currently trying to get the two Soldiers to get out of ball form so their statements could be heard, but they weren't budging. They were grayed out. Seiki used this convenient opportunity to snatch them up. As she did so, she got this uncomfortable feeling inside of her stomach. Sweat started to roll down her forehead as if she went through something very strenuous.
"We should probably get you back outside before you burn through all of your energy," Ahio suggested.
"Nooo," Seiki sarcastically remarked. She moved a few of the people who were focusing on Gargulion and Gladion to create a bit of confusion over the narrative of the events when they realize what has happened. Ahio then got Seiki out of the facility to place her back at the park.
"Just in case something happens to me..." Seiki panted as she gave up Gladion and Gargulion to Ahio. "Throw them somewhere else."
"Good idea. That way, if we do get caught, we don't get implicated and possibly go to prison for interfering with an investigation from multiple organizations," Ahio summed up unnecessarily. She took both of the Bakugan and launched them across the horizon.

Post by Kendrick Hardy on Aug 9, 2019 10:47:50 GMT -5
Kendrick was playing outside with Darius while this commotion was going on. He figured he should keep the boy company while everyone else worries about Tank and Markus possibly going to prison. What he didn't expect was to find out that Ahio had thrown Gladion and Gargulion towards the backyard of the house where he and Darius was. The way he found out was simple. He got smushed by an unseen force.
"..." Kendrick loudly groaned in pain while being face-down on the ground. It didn't help his state of health when Darius was standing to the side laughing at this pain and misery. He slowly turned over and found two sealed Bakugan lying there. Kendrick immediately recognized who they were since he has seen them enough times.
He looked around for a bit to make sure no one else saw him. He then took both of the Bakugan and put them in his pocket for safekeeping. He tried not to act suspicious while doing so, but it made him look very guilty.

Unfortunately for Kendrick, Noland heard the impact from inside of the house. He quickly came outside to see what had happened. All he could find was Darius laughing like a maniac and Kendrick looking suspicious with grass stains on his clothes.
"..." Noland gave Kendrick a stare, because something was really off. There was something bulging in his right pocket too. They could've been anything really, but something was telling him that there were Bakugan in there. Siege and Krakix were inside of the house, so it couldn't have been them. What else could Kendrick be looking suspicious about?
"...I won't even ask what happened..." Noland shrugged off. "Just give one of them to me, please."

"...Dammit..." Kendrick sighed. "I'll just give both of them up. You're way better at hiding things than I am." With that, Kendrick surrendered Gladion and Gargulion to Noland. But, now they had to figure out what to do next, because Noland can now be arrested if anyone finds out that he has them.
"...Who do you think did this?" Kendrick wondered, because the two of them didn't escape themselves. They couldn't have.

Noland cracked a prideful smile when Kendrick asked him about who did it. It was clear to him who would do this since he could feel a hint of their energy coming from Gladion and Gargulion.
"Someone very special and talented," Noland remarked. "Come on. Let's go to the Yards. I want to show you something."

Seiki got herself a jug of water and some Bodyarmor to stay hydrated and replenish her electrolytes. She was now watching kids play in the water at the canal basin. This brought her back to when she used to go to an acting camp where she'd participate in musicals, go on awesome field trips - the pool being her personal favorite - and building a relationship with the higher-ups to the point where they brought her back as a camp counselor. Children are really nice...
Except for the rare ones that seem to want to push your buttons like the guy from earlier...
"Hey..." the man greeted again...
"..." Seiki didn't offer a word to him. She kept looking straight as if this conversation was never happening.
"Look...I know you must think I'm weird and need a therapist, but...there's something I really need your help with, and no, it doesn't involve what I said earlier," he said. "You know Maurice, right?"
"Irrelevant, so no," Seiki dismissed.
"...Well, damn. Okay, so, your friends know who he is," he assumed.
"My friends?" Seiki wondered.
"Yeah...the Resistors. Aren't you all tight?"
"Maybe. Maybe not," Seiki shrugged.
"Okay. The point is..." the man then shot her with a needle that sent morphine into Seiki's bloodstream. Seiki was immediately disoriented. "No one gave him permission to just leave. You Resistors seem to be an influence on him, so - seeing as how you're the weakest link - I'll just take you hostage and use you as leverage to bring him out."
"..." Seiki's blood pressure dropped to the point where she was barely responsive. The man started to lead her away from the area. Ahio watched this happen from afar and paid no mind to it. In fact...
"I knew it. He always seemed like the creepy type," Ahio boasted. "I can't wait until he realizes it's a speed mirage. He's gonna be so excited." Ahio didn't really have to spoil the surprise. It's a good thing the criminal won't hear about it until it's too late.

Everything was moving along as if Seiki and Ahio didn't do a damn thing. The rats were still in the hallway, and the Knight and Angel were still being annoying by being here. The only thing worse was hearing the agonizing screams of people in the hallway getting harassed by the rodents. In the back of his mind, Tank could reasonably guess who did it, but he didn't want to make assumptions. Alex could've done it to get more time to watch for all he knew.
"It looks like neither of us will be going anywhere," Tank affirmed with a grin. "Now, let's get this out of the way so we can get right to the part where we start yelling at each other. Victoria, why are you here?"
Tank wasn't aware of all that Markus said or did, so he really doesn't know why Victoria is here. He could probably guess since Markus told him that whatever he uncovered has something to do with why Victoria and the rest of the ladies can't keep their eyes away from Noland. This could shape up to be an entertaining response, or one that makes him want to seriously hurt someone. Maybe both.
