"No one asked you a goddamn thing, ugly." Petra yelled at Hydranoid. "I don't want to fight anyone. This is fucked..." She said in disbelief at what was going on. She was still looking at Sydney with a furious expression hiding away the panic. Sydney could end up dead, but so could they- one who gave Vergilius his power came before Six Lost Generals and Triad. That person's power guarantees Vergilius will do some permanent damage... considering the potent curse within him power of restoration will most-likely fail to remove the damage. If your limb is gone then it's gone. At the same time there was no way Vergilius could fight everyone here.
"Sydney, please... I am asking. Tell me what's going on or just... leave. Don't make me do this." Petra begged of Sydney while trying to stay calm, but it was not working.
Leon turned away from Drago and turned towards Vergilius taking offensive yet careful stance. It seemed like Petra would rather fight Sydney than Noland or anyone else. "If you want to do this, friend..." Leon spoke to Vergilius. "Then you have to go through us." Petra finished.

"I am afraid I cannot comply with that, Petra." Sydney replied.
In a blink of an eye Vergilius 'disappeared' from his position leaving no visible trail or sign to where he could have been. It was no teleportation or anything of the sort. Among Seven Angels Vergilius is known to be the quickest and his speed is unmatched by other six. With that deadly speed his skills could be akin to something of an assassin, but that role is left to Victoria's Bakugan. Vergilius's intention was to completely bypass Leon, going around him and then striking at Drago. Sydney's mission was not to kill or terribly wound any of the resistance she would encounter, but knocking them out was definitely an option so Vergilius was going exactly for that on Drago. Both Noland and Drago being good in their nature would have trouble withstanding Vergilius's final transformation; darkness behind it is far greater than that of Noland's and Drago's or Chaos Takeover Alex's Dante has. Those with good nature are found drained of their strength and will to resist.
Vergilius readied his tail-blade enhancing it with potent sleep-inducing venom. He then went right for Drago passing on Leon's left.

Petra could not possibly notice where or how far Vergilius had gone as it all happened in a blink of an eye. With bare human sight lots of things were not perceivable. However, Leon was able to sense Vergilius to near perfection even though he could not see him and even though Leon is known to be the second slowest fighter among Angels' Bakugans he was still pretty quick to react in time. Despite Vergilius's speed his chi does not disappear and neither does disturbance of molecules in the air which Leon may sense due to his affinity to chi. With a single quick swing of his right fist his knuckles met Vergilius's face stopping the metallic dragon in his tracks and revealing his position immediately.
Much to Vergilius's surprise Leon was able to stop him- for the first time ever in a fight. "Getting rusty, my friend!" Leon laughed wholeheartedly as his left fist went right for Vergilius's face. "Atomic Punch!" He yelled out and delivered one big satisfying punch to Vergilius's face sending him back about several meters, but still not unbalancing him in any way.
"Now you've done it..." Petra sighed in disappointment at Sydney. "You'd better be ready because we are going to give you a beating of a lifetime!" She yelled out.
With that Leon moved back to his offensive stance. "Now Resistors- this is personal. If you want go then go- I've got this one." Leon said in excitement wanting this whole battle just for himself. He was ready to wipe the floor with Vergilius.

"Oh really?" Skystar asked in response to Petra willingly stepping up to Sydney. "This is unsettling to say the least. Leon was the last one I expected to get involved..."
"But I'm not surprised..." Tracy responded. "I can feel the heartbreak from here...for both Noland and Petra. As much as I want to stop this from going any further...I don't think we can..."
"Not for lack of effort though," Skystar added in since she knew where Tracy was going with this.
"They won't stop...no matter what," Tracy finally accepted.

"..." Noland was taken by surprise with Petra and Leon's sudden resistance, but he didn't show it. His eyes were locked on Sydney. He didn't blink AT ALL. His focus was dead-center on what he said he was going to do here. This was where things will start to get dangerous...
"Drago, let's go," Noland signaled as he forcefully broke free from Alana's grasp and started walking.
"Yep," Drago acknowledged. Him and Noland began walking towards Sydney and Vergilius without a care in the world. Their steps were...calm, which was a surprise given how they usually behave. There were no signs of the planet shaking or the solar system trembling with anything Noland and Drago were doing. Their steps made it appear like they were never there. Previously, Noland and Drago were only able to do this with Duality, but now, they can accomplish this in base form. One can wonder what that says about their capabilities since they've gotten their extreme power in check like this. What else can they do? Do the Silver Knights and Eden have any idea about who they pissed off?
Noland and Drago stayed silent on their approach. Whatever they did next was going to be through action. Lethal action...

"Stubborn." Vergilius spoke to Leon. He was actually pleased by what Leon did- before Leon could not sense Vergilius's movements and actions, but now he can. He was also pleased that Petra and Leon decided to resist- it would have been disappointing if they sided with Sydney; at least someone in this whole chaos had some common sense.
"Petra, my job is already decided whether I have to go through you or not... You alone will not be enough to stop me from going further. You know better than anyone- you can't defeat me in this condition." Sydney spoke to Petra. She could easily defeat Petra, that was not the problem. The problem was- she did not want to fight Petra. The choices, however, are very limited. "Ability activate! Calm Hunter!" She placed one card into her gauntlet. Calm Hunter- card that isolates the user from everyone else except for the target; any obstacles, attacks and so on that are not directly from the target go through the user without affecting them and no disturbances from the outside can disrupt user's calmness. Additionally, damage and damage resistance against the target rises drastically.
With that Vergilius charged right towards Leon.

Petra placed one card in her gauntlet. "Is that so?" She sarcastically responded. With that card Leon's body began to glow in red, growing hotter in the process. Ability Petra activated is called Breaking Reversal; once you are hit by an attack and are able to block it enemy has a high change of getting staggered for two seconds giving defender plenty of time for counter-attacks. "I might lose, but not before I get to punch that pretty little face of yours! Leon, let's start thrashing!" Petra shouted out and then she herself charged forward heading towards Sydney with intent of knocking the hell out of her.
"Hahaha!! You read my mind!" Leon laughed wholeheartedly. He could notice Vergilius coming right for him and this time as well he could see the opponent coming right in. Fist and sword clashed, neither breaking or being damaged severely in the process. His right fist knocked away Vergilius's tail blade sending a shockwave through dragon's body and staggering him for a brief period of time. "Boy!" Leon shouted as his left fist ended up in Vergilius's face again knocking the dragon away, but the stagger was also done. "Wanna start getting serious with me? You're embarrassing yourself." He challenged.

Petra was running towards Sydney to fight her face-to-face instead of relying on a brawl. It was not surprising from Petra; she was always a kind to think people were weak if they could not fight for themselves in any situation and always required a Bakugan for their fights. Of course, nowadays there is often no fight that does not require a Bakugan, but she still disliked how pipsqueaks thought they were strong just because there was a giant monster by their side. Neither Sydney or Petra were pushovers in combat so Sydney did not hesitate to respond. She placed one card into the gauntlet and then charged towards Petra in return ready to teach her dear friend a painful lesson.
"I consider it politeness to let you have few hits in to even the odds a little. Still, it'd take a whole day to even them." Vergilius responded sarcastically. His voice is rather formal so it is hard to notice the sarcasm in it. What one could notice was Vergilius disappearing again.
Before Leon could react dozens of dangerous-looking greatswords formed around Leon ready to charge into him. Vergilius's ability, Quell, allows for spawning of swords which travel and maneuver like homing missiles, mercilessly shredding their target with holy energy. It is not Haos within them, but something akin to ancient elements which would be considered holy while not necessarily being Haos. With that chances of one resisting them without a specific counter were low. Swords charged at Leon and Vergilius appeared in front charging as well.

Noland was watching and listening as he was walking in case he was able to hear more, but this was going nowhere. He had enough.
"Ability activate! Battalix Enforcement!" Upon activation, Drago had a dark-red aura appear on his body briefly before going away in almost an instant. Now, everything was crystal clear to him. EVERYTHING.
This was because the ability allows sense enhancement. The most lethal sense for battle application was his sense of touch. It lets him feel what cannot be felt. It also allows him to interact with those who are otherwise intangible. While that was fine and dandy, the real kicker was that Drago's threat level is difficult to assess now, because he can augment how his touch would interact with the environment around him. A tap on the shoulder could be a building collapsing on top of you. A toe tapping the ground could cause an earthquake. The application was devastating when you consider how much force can be generated from someone with these attributes who are using their body to the fullest. It could be said that this was one of - if not - the strongest offensive buff to be used.
Drago passed on some of its power to Apollo's Hand. He lightly tapped the ground in front of him with it to unleash a colossal wave of raw power that covered the entirety of the No Man's Land area. The blades were blown apart, and everyone - including the Angels still in hiding - were buffeted by this staggering force. The ground erupted from underneath everyone due to how much force was applied. From a top-down view, the entirety of the area was reshaped from a single ability that only required the bare minimum of effort...
Noland was there within the dust clouds that arose from this action. He was still staring in the same direction Sydney and Vergilius were in like he could still see them. He crossed his arms after the whole display. He looked...rather sad.
"..." Noland nodded, so Drago - with a balled-up fist ready to be used - kicked the air behind him to propel himself forward to the front of a Vergilius who had just gotten shown what a freak of nature could feel like when the gloves come off. Vergilius was about to be shown once again. The dust all but disappeared the moment Drago went into action. Everyone was going to see. EVERYONE.

Vergilius's Quell ability is powerful, but easy to notice. Still, its power is nothing to present great harm to Leon who can still defend himself. Vergilius was going to use the barrage of swords to his advantage so he could attack as well- typical strategy against heavier opponents, but Leon already had a counter-strategy. With his counters he should be able to block and destroy the swords and then deal with Vergilius.
It was at that moment he sensed disturbance of chi around him. Entire area was filled with disturbance and the source was neither him or Vergilius. That's when it came to him... that little bastard did not listen to anything Leon said. Of course he did not- why would he? That was what Resistors are after all... they don't listen to anyone or anything- threats or reason. Whatever that disturbance was it was not good, especially for Vergilius. He would not be able to do all this dodging. Leon was looking for answers and he wanted to bring Vergilius down for it, but not cause him great harm or kill him in the process- this ominous energy he could feel was definitely of dangerous and lethal nature.
Leon unleashed a mad roar, activating his transformation right on the spot before either of the combatants got warmed up. He did not have much time to react and this was the only way to deal with Vergilius and with whatever was coming after that. Petra did not order it, but there is not much choice on the matter. His mane began to glow in red and gold, imbued with energy and fire, then the rest of his body followed in similar fashion. With amazing speed he charged at Vergilius, cyborg dragon not even being able to follow. "Nuclear... PUNCH!"
He closed in on unsuspecting Vergilius who had no chance of dodging the attack, but... the attack was nothing more than a trick. Instead of punching his opponent, Leon made a single spin and kicked Vergilius in the head from the side instead causing Vergilius to fly off in a different direction and then... since Vergilius's safety was ensured Leon finished his spin with his charged fist. Nuclear Punch went straight for Drago's fist.
Two collided... Flames and sparks were everywhere, swallowing up both Drago and Leon until neither was visible. Waves of ominous energy were being released through the entire area and anyone observing could clearly see the threat this could bring to anyone nearby. While Leon's force was impressive he was nowhere near warmed up or prepared to take that punch on with his Nuclear Punch... it was more of a trick to fool Vergilius and attempt to block as much damage as possible from Drago's attack, but there is not much a single standard ability can do in this situation even if Leon is transformed. It is like charging a truck into an airplane. Still, his task was accomplished... Vergilius was out of the way.
"Ahh..." Leon's breaths and panting could be heard from the dust once the final of flames extinguished after finishing explosion. Both of them were still locked in that position; fist against fist and neither was moving. Then, suddenly, blood could clearly be seen running down from Leon's mouth, nose, eyes and ears as well as his muscles trembling. However, he did not lose his proud posture even after this. He simply let go and made few steps back.
"I... told you... this is personal..." Leon said with trembling voice, drops of blood spat out with every word said. His knees were getting weaker and slowly they were reaching the floor. "I won't... let anyone... die. It's... enough..." With every word the glow and fire were growing weaker until his transformation was extinguished. He was not going to stand up. He badly wanted to do it, but he could not feel his legs anymore.
Everyone could feel the explosion. Petra's rampage was stopped only to find her friend kneeling on the ground powerless after defending the opponent from death. She turned away from Sydney and started running in Leon's direction. "LEON, NO!" She screamed loudly in panic.

"Oh my goodness..." Drago sighed when he realized what he had done. It took him a while to even register that Leon intercepted the attack. That's because he was in denial the whole time. He didn't want to believe that Leon would do this to himself even though it's not a complete shocker that he did. At the end of the day, the Angels were still a unit no matter what.
"..." Noland was greatly disturbed by seeing Leon go down, because he was the only one out of this little group that didn't deserve to be hit by anything either him or Drago could unleash. It was something about seeing that and hearing the agony and sadness in Petra's voice again that made Noland even more sad than he was prior to the punch being thrown.
Noland and Drago returned their attention to both Sydney and Vergilius respectively. They didn't move from their current position, but they were watching to see how the Angels were going to react to what just happened. It was the only ethical thing for them to do since Petra was in the line of fire when she ran to Leon's side.
"It ends tonight," Noland assured Sydney one more time.

Sydney's expression darkened, she herself struggling to scream out for Leon. She did not expect things to go down like that. No matter the arguments Petra and Leon still cared... they were not intending to hurt Sydney or Vergilius and... Leon took that hit for Vergilius. Petra's painful scream left Sydney frozen there for a moment and without a way to react.
Vergilius, seeing his friend go down in such manner, could not calm down. "This is... why everyone wants you dead... spawns of Satan himself... I was not sent here to kill, but I will pretend I did not listen..." Vergilius said in monotonous voice not being able to express his regret over Leon's fall. He had doubts Leon would survive this and he did not have any ways of healing him or, at least, keeping him from dying.
Swords spawned from Quell turned and were pointed at Drago this time. While there was no Chaos Takeover dark-purple aura began to form around each sword... giving sickening feeling to anyone near the swords. Swords were then launched from all directions with malicious intent.
"For you... it ends tonight." Vergilius added.

These people caused so much chaos in such short amount of time. It only shows how primitive people become the more power they have. Despite his rough attitude Leon was peak of morality among Seven Angels right now. Vergilius was expected to react in the way he did, but it was out of pure anger... he probably knew he and Sydney were at fault here, but it got better of him. Still, bloodshed had to be ended- there was little reason to fight each other in times like these when one desperately needs allies to fend off all these threats.
Swords were sent flying towards Drago and before they could move few meters in his direction every single one was disintegrated simultaneously. There was no attack or apparent ability being used- as if wind just blew on the swords and they were gone. Once that happen most became aware of another creature's presence.
Tall knight of dragon nature in beautiful white armor began to descend from the sky. Despite the heavy armor he was descending slowly and gracefully with his pair of two beautiful white wings. He landed several meters away from Drago, on his right. He just remained silent while watching people present, his gaze switching from one person to another, but mostly stuck to Leon's horrific state. [Note: Despite what is on the picture, knight is in no possession of any sword. He is unarmed]
"Are you all finally satisfied?" Voice came from the buildings on Drago's left. It may have been just another 'spectator' out of many so he may have been unnoticed this entire time. It was none than Alex Andersen himself. He was in knights' uniform. His facial expression was not anger or sadness... he somehow looked concerned. Like a disappointed parent who would just shake their head at their child's action.

"..." Noland was expecting this sooner or later. After all, why wouldn't a Silver Knight be alerted to any activity involving him? "Nowhere near," he answered without giving Alex any eye contact. He was still focused on who his enemy was and still is. "But, let's not beat around the bush. You knew that already. Whatever's said here doesn't matter anyway. These women made that clear the moment they decided to not mind their own damn business."
"..." Drago couldn't really say much here. What Noland said is pretty much the best they're going to get out of him.
"All of this...over a stupid ring that any of you could've just asked me for?" Noland scoffed. "Except that - by that lowlife's own words - everyone wants me dead? Makes it seem like Victoria is a miserable liar... Makes you wonder why no one can't seem to forget about my power and to let me continue minding my own business without messing with anyone..."

Vergilius did not expect for the fight to be interrupted like that. He did not care though. He had his target in mind and had no intention to stop, but again- he knew Alex was not going to back away just like Petra and then... similar scenario might follow. Somehow, that stopped him there for a second. Hesitantly, he spoke to Alex. "You two... move aside. This is none of your business." Vergilius warned. He already knew the answer though.
"Alex...? Why are you here?" Sydney inquired even though she could figure it out on the spot. She turned her head aside, not feeling the strength to look him in the eye. As for Petra, Sydney could not gather any strength to approach- she just did not know what to say. She seemed tired... not in body, but rather in spirit.
