"Gotta admit. That's pretty cool," Lyles commended. "Armor Bearers, if you would be so kind." After saying that, his armor bearers smothered him to be shields. They took massive damage from the comets and meteors; however, they weren't blown apart as someone would expect a human being to do when getting clobbered by such overwhelming force from a Bakugan. Instead, their bodies became redder as they were taking damage. They also absorbed the explosions so that the landscape wasn't altered from the fighting. Such caring citizens they are.
Lyles then progressively absorbed all of their punishments and grew even stronger. The health conditions of his armor bearers seemed to still be at 100%. It's like they weren't damaged at all...
"That one actually packed a punch..." Lyles noticed. "Maybe we should cut this a little shorter..."

"Wait...a human being really took all that and didn't die?" Ahio was shocked to see.
"Hen’i," Seiki quickly activated. Ahio zoomed to the 'religious' group. She revealed her hidden limbs. She then vibrated her claws so that when she went in to grab them, she would phase her claws through them instead. Obviously, this was a lethal attack and probably unnecessary for human beings, but after seeing Lyles and company survive comets and meteors and not budge an inch from the force of the impact, anything was on the table.
Ahio winced when she did end up phase cutting through their bodies. She quickly got away from them as they all fell the ground.
"I'm so sorry," Ahio apologized. She really isn't used to doing that...
"..." Seiki paid close attention to the state of their bodies. She had a feeling they'd get back up somehow, but she didn't want to be correct.

The sight of the butchered Lyles and his armor bearers was very disturbing. Even then...they all got back up at the same time...
"That was the best attempt someone has made to kill me so far," Lyles noted. Even Kianna's method of specifically countering his power was inferior to Ahio's phase cutting? Why is that...? "You'd have killed us with that...if we could be killed."
Their wounds were converted into red energy particles that entered Lyles' body. "Do you wonder what would happen if someone other than me were to feel all of the pain and suffering ALL of us went through in what I'm hearing is Sausalito, California? What about an entire city? State? ...Country... Planet... A certain Darkus Resistor... I can think a lot bigger now thanks to the two of you. And the icing on the cake is...I'm a Gundalian."
For his last trick, Lyles shot two lasers out of his eye. His armor bearers helped him to make the process quicker. A giant hologram of a meteor was being formed close to the ground. "You're not the only one who can summon meteors, sorceress," Lyles noted. In this case, Lyles can materialize an object that will allow him to inflict pain either equal or less than the accumulated pain he has in his system. Considering Skystar already attempted to obliterate him with meteors and comets earlier, this one making its mark on the Earth may end up destroying this continent at the very least...or worse.
"Good day, ladies," Lyles said as him and his armor bearers disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"Blow Away!" Seiki activated with haste. Ahio flapped her wings to produce a powerful gust of wind. Strangely, Ahio had to hustle to provide enough power that'll prevent this meteor from hitting the ground and destroying everything. It was a scary five seconds, but she was able to slowly push it upwards. The extra power she was using broke the meteor apart a little, so it made it easier to launch the meteor into outer space when all was said and done.
"Oh God..." Ahio huffed. "I can't believe...that I went through all that turmoil to get strong enough to fight other Bakugan, and then a GUNDALIAN comes up in here and tells us all to hold his beer!"
Seiki was more focused on Markus' current situation though. "Tracy, wherever Markus is, tell him to hurry up..." she fearfully suggested. "This guy's no joke..."
Post by Markus Hederick on Nov 23, 2019 1:59:00 GMT -5
Markus had no idea who was coming for him, but he would get a good idea once Lyles entered the same place him and Gargulion were at. He was flying across the dark country in the shadows. He wasn't happy about the place being littered with Baalenoid...
"Noland told us on the way to Gundalia about what Betadron said to him about the Pack... I didn't think too much about it at the time, but... I think these guys might be the originals," Markus theorized.
"You mean the Tribunal made these?" Gargulion asked.
"Either they made them, or they owned them and figured out how someone on Earth could recreate them," Markus guessed. "They're a lot stronger and faster than the one Nero had at the time. We can't get smothered by them or it might be over."
"We're getting close," Gargulion announced. They arrived at a familiar place...
"This is...the high school I went to...?" Markus recognized as Gargulion entered the school's battle arena from underneath. Fabia was at the center of the battlefield. She just stood there with tears going down her eyes.
"She's in a lot of pain..." Gargulion nervously noted. "I-I can't... This isn't normal. Something is very wrong here. It's like she was tortured..."
"I'm not understanding," Markus responded as he needed more information.

"Allow me to fill you in," Mother Bowen offered as she walked onto the premises after Gargulion trespassed on their property. "The Princess here thought it was a good idea to attack me when I brought here, so my colleague quickly showed her that it wasn't a wise thing to do. Emotional trauma was her punishment. She was bawling her eyes out over how many people died during that little skirmish Neathia had with Gundalia. It seems she loved her fiancee very much before his unfortunate meeting with the current Emperor of Gundalia."
"Anywho, I'm just here to say that I saw you. If you want her back, take her. She served her purpose for now," Bowen insisted. "BUT - since there's always a catch - you will have to leave the other person that we have to present to you. I think her name is...Andrea?"
Andrea Wolfang, Alex Andersen's ex-girlfriend and the same woman Markus traumatized during his rampage at Eden, showed up behind Bowen. She looked...different. She was a lot darker than she normally was... "I know, I know. If our plan was followed, my colleague would've told one of you that we'd exchange two of our hostages for one special one we want, but I found this too good of an opportunity to keep silent about. And the sad thing is...she became a Maverick host WILLINGLY...with some minor help from my colleague. So, what's the plan, Resistor? The Princess or Andrea? Only one of which would matter to you personally, but you can only choose one..."

"I say you should come up with a plan that's going to work," Markus notified this arrogant bitch. "You're lucky I don't have time to fuck around in here, but the next time you come anywhere near me or anyone I know, you'd better ask your fake god for forgiveness one last time before I serve your head him."
Gargulion then went to grab Fabia; however, he paused when he noticed that her veins were showing and they were glowing red. He also felt someone's heart beating. That's when he jumped towards the west side of the arena to avoid an explosion that Fabia herself set off.
"What the fuck was that? I'm trying to HELP you!" Gargulion snapped.
Post by Fabia Sheen on Nov 23, 2019 18:04:54 GMT -5
Fabia was growling at Gargulion with intense rage. The howling was a bit lower-pitched than the Gundalians, but it was good enough to be intimidating.
"You...!" From Fabia's perspective, Gargulion reminded her of the person responsible for her fiancee's death: Rashad Barodius himself. Her emotional struggle reached the point where she couldn't separate Barodius from anyone else. The powers of Father Lyles is likely responsible for this development.
"He tried to get away from you! You wouldn't let him! You just kept stabbing him! And he was there for a peace offering!" Fabia shouted in disgust. "You're not gonna hurt anyone ever again! I'll make you beg for mercy just as he did!"
Fabia's pain turned into a giant, red scythe that she could somehow lift. It was pulsating with sizzling red energy. It was the personification of an angry Neathian woman.
Post by Markus Hederick on Nov 23, 2019 18:45:14 GMT -5
"Uh oh... We're really in for it now..." Markus dreaded.
"Um...we're sorry?" Gargulion tried to apologize. Fabia immediately swung at him. Gargulion's spirit form seeped out a little bit to grab onto the scythe and swing the frame around to where Gargulion was behind Fabia. Not only did they have the advantage of attacking her from behind, but they also got to see the fruits of her labor. That swing was powerful enough to obliterate everything that was in front of her. The destruction went out for miles.
"Ability activate! Steeled Vessel!" As a result of Gargulion touching the scythe, he was able to convert the weapon into a Gargulion. This Gargulion quickly formed a frame for itself. Gargulion himself then got a full understanding of what kind of power Fabia was working with and how it works.
Post by Mother Bowen on Nov 25, 2019 17:48:50 GMT -5
Bowen knew there was a strong possibility of Gargulion using Lyles' power against her now that one of his bodies can use it. For that reason, Bowen chose to act before he even got the chance.
"Not so fast. That's mine," Bowen warned Gargulion. The new frame was robbed of Lyles' power and was transferred to Bowen. There were no visual cues that showed this transfer happening just like when Rafe and Fabia faced her on Neathia. She took it a step further by converting the new frame into a giant rectangular prison that covered them all. It emitted a bright, red light from all directions that all attacked Gargulion and Fabia to their very being. Feeling all of the pain and suffering from Jenna, Fabia, and Andrea all at once was terrible on its own. Feeling it hundreds of times in magnitude was something else entirely. It was something that you never do to someone else, let alone a human being like Markus.
"I know. I said you could take her, but no one said you'd just be able to walk away," Bowen laughed off.
Post by Markus Hederick on Nov 25, 2019 18:07:36 GMT -5
Even though Markus was within Gargulion's being, he still felt the unbearable effects of Bowen's attack. Fabia knelt down on the ground and screamed like no one has ever screamed before. She couldn't take it anymore. She grabbed a folding knife from her back pocket and was going to try and end herself. Indeed, the emotional pain was so unbearable that it would drive someone to suicide within seconds.
It couldn't be seen since he was within Gargulion's being, but Markus was hit very hard about what he had to suffer through. He was familiar with Andrea's pain from before, so it didn't affect him as much as Fabia's and Jenna's. Fabia wasn't all that bad either since he heard about it seconds before he got put in this mess. Jenna was undoubtedly the worst one. It was difficult for him to focus on what she was going through thanks to Fabia and Andrea's experiences flooding his mind, but he did see that Jenna was flowing in and out of many different families, never really settled down to make any lasting friendships, watched her parents commit suicide in front of her...and... Wait...why would that happen...?
"Grim Beyonder!" Gargulion shouted. He built himself a sword using stone from his own hand. He dislodged it from his hand and allowed it to continuously spin on himself and Fabia. Because of this, both Markus and Fabia had their souls flicker between the world of the living and the dead with each time they were pierced. Each time, their conditions were reset to base levels. This was done to make sure that Markus and Fabia would not feel that scarring pain any further.
"Gateway to Eternity!" Once they were taken care of, he opened a portal to the afterlife underneath himself and Fabia. They both dropped into the portal and had it close behind them. Now - unless Mother Bowen was capable of traversing the afterlife - they couldn't be pursued.

Bowen had a frown when Gargulion managed to escape her. She knew because Lyles' power allowed him to feel whenever his power was working on someone or if someone was resisting it. Since neither were apparent to her, either Gargulion went into a ghostly state, or he left the area completely.
Bowen whistled for a Belphenoid to come hither. She had the makeshift prison crumble since it was no reason to have it there anymore. Once the Belphenoid arrived, she asked it:
"Are they still here?"
"No, Mother. They've left the dimension entirely," the Belphenoid confirmed.
"Okay. Make sure Father Lyles is aware that Markus is on the loose. Despite his capability as a fighter...he is still at a heavy disadvantage against Markus and Tank," Bowen instructed.

Gargulion appeared back on regular Earth a few seconds after retreating from Mother Bowen. He stood atop a building in Northwest DC in his robed form. He had the Princess sleeping in his arms.
"Markus, are you alright?" Gargulion inquired.
"No..." Markus eerily answered. "How are you holding up?"
"I'm fine... That attack was meant for you and the Princess, not for me," Gargulion theorized. "With power like that...you brawlers are in big trouble."
"All the more reason to get Alana to safety. Hydranoid can't stop that on his own if they go for her," Markus knew. "Get everyone on the line. Quickly." When Gargulion opened up communication with the other Soldiers via telapathy. "The Princess is secure. The woman who confronted me is extremely dangerous. Someone get to Alana's location. Not NOW, I mean RIGHT NOW."

Unbeknownst to Markus and the rest of the Resistors, plans were already made in advance. Alana was with Noland. She had no idea that she was about to be attacked nor did she know about the other two campaigns regarding Jenna and Fabia. All she knew was that Noland 'volunteered' to help her pick out some new clothes for herself and Darius at Annapolis Mall. Darius wasn't there for obvious reasons, but she still wanted him to have other clothes than Kendrick's old ones.
She was in the Under Armour store trying out some gear. The company itself kept giving her discounts, so she chose to reap the benefits. Plus, Noland knows he wants to see her in leggings.
"Noland, be honest with me. Are you sure everything's okay?" Alana asked him as she was picking out some clothes to try on. "You HATE shopping, but you insisted on coming with me."
"I thought guys didn't have a choice here," Hydranoid believed.
"Well, they don't..." Alana admitted. "But...that's only reserved for couples though..."
"Really? Wow... I thought I had humans figured out..."
Post by Noland Hardy on Nov 27, 2019 19:54:29 GMT -5
Noland knew why he was there, but he was strictly told to keep his mouth shut about the Tribunal. It was getting more difficult to do though...
"...If she would stop asking questions...this'll be a whole lot easier..." Noland said in his mind. With that, he gave himself enough time to think of a response that won't compromise the plan.
"I'm just here to make your day special is all," Noland lied. "I want to care about everyone else for a change rather than just worrying about what's going on with me. Plus, I needed to get out a little. All of this drama with Eden and the obstruction of justice is bothering me..."

Atom: Yeah, no. The value of the materials within that device were worth less than $100. The specifics of it are more difficult, but the overall material cost isn't any more than that.

Atom: Anti-magic Adamantine is quite plentiful in other Realities. Too bad you can't go to them. As for the Quantum Flux Anchor, never heard of something like that before.
