"Not even close. It's just getting started," Deon denied. "You've got plenty more to worry about than just someone planning regicide. For all we know, we could be in the middle of an interesting conspiracy, one where us lowly Spartans have no say as to who gets put on our team, and then something like this happens. One could only imagine where your head is if you really knew a person better than we did... Better than even the Master Blaze who can sense things on a whole other level..."

Jamal was hanging back staying absolutely silent. He slightly hung his head down and closed his eyes. He knew where Deon was going with this. How could he not? He probably feels the same way...
Xavier looked at Deon sideways like he was crazy. "..." Xavier then began to connect the dots with what Deon was saying. He was starting to get a little angry. "No you didn't..." Xavier angrily told himself. "Are you accusing me of something?"

"I'm glad you asked that, because now you just gave me permission to say whatever the hell I want. Then again, you'll probably take that away just like you did my power as leader of the Spartans when you THOUGHT you knew better than I do," Damian chipped in. He proceeded to do the same scan he did on the guards on Xavier himself. Luckily for everyone, he appeared to be clean, but he wasn't eliminating Xavier as a suspect...
"Did she do it? Did she offer to suck you off to get in the Spartans? You tell me now, I'll promise not to get your dumbass kicked off the throne," Damian shrugged.

"You've got to be kidding me... Of course that didn't happen!" Xavier insisted. "Come on, man! Why would I do that!? All of that drama between her hiring aside, I went against my own sister for you guys. Why would I suddenly come up dirty now?"

"You supplied the Hurranians with everything they needed to scatter our bodies across the universe," Deon countered since Xavier wanted to bring up how he believed he was never on the dark side. "Yes, it would be ridiculous to say that you'd bring a succubus here to kill us all just because of that, but after everything that has happened, I wouldn't be surprised if you did. It would certainly fit with the theme of the Turano siblings. 'I know better than you because I'm the king.' I think now should show you that you clearly don't, because the lives that we had to claim from this...is on YOU. Tabitha is a succubus that Damian denied; yet, you couldn't help yourself. You had to ruin us one more time, didn't you?"

"Are you guys going to arrest him or are you going to keep wasting time kicking his ass around all day?" Jamal spoke up. It sounded like he heard enough of this. "With all due respect, your Highness, the only way you're going to fix this is for you to tell that girl to go to Hell, and for you to actually trust us to do our jobs. The important thing for you to understand right now is that you aren't an expert over everything you rule over. You just can't be. That's all I'm gonna say."
"Someone's coming," Tec announced to everyone from Jamal's shoulder. His ability to sense must be identical to Gorem's: seismic sense. He could feel someone coming towards them. "Two people..."

The person in question was the woman of the hour herself. She walked in with a familiar-looking man. Well...not familiar to Vestal, but Earth, Neathia, and Gundalia knew who this man was: Father Lyles. He was in his Gundalian form.
"Um...I found this guy trying to do something...inappropriate to one of the citizens here in Alpha City. I figured there was talk about a succubus, so I did the best I could to figure out who was responsible," Tabitha explained. "I'm not saying he did it, but... He's a Gundalian and they're known to have powers, so I thought it was worth a look... Please be gentle."

Speak of the devil. There she goes, and she brought in a rat with her. Jamal was waiting for Xavier to say something, but just before he could get the chance:
"Tabitha, let me ask you this real quick," Jamal was about to ask. "Wait, before I do, I appreciate you going out of your way like that. I realize that doesn't get said often. Anyway, the question. Who are you here to report this to? King Turano, or Damian?"
"...You guys are really letting King Turano have it today... I wonder how this is going to erupt," Tec thought in his mind.

The question didn't have Tabitha thinking too much. This was an easy question. "King Turano of course," Tabitha answered. "That should be right... I don't recall being told to report anything to anyone else... Why do you ask, if you don't mind me asking?"
Tabitha could notice the tension in the room. It wasn't hard to guess that Jamal's question involved whatever was going on. It was written on all of their faces. "...Was this a bad time?"

Hearing what Tabitha just said pushed Damian over the edge. He was beyond mad now. Helios was even angrier.
"You disgust me," Helios spat towards Xavier.
"This is what she was 'told' huh? Yeah, because after you took my job, the power rush you got off of it compelled you to lie to our faces about what you were going to tell her," Damian summed up. "I'm amazed that you can stand there and even attempt to have us believe that you're on our side. It's not even incompetence at this point. This is on purpose! I'm the one taking the fall for leading Deon and Niko on goose chases when it's all you with your 'communication mistakes.' Fuck your crown, and fuck YOU. Enough is enough."

"...Wow..." Lyles interrupted by mistake. He tried his best to keep quiet, but this was a surprising scene to be apart of. "I know I'm not in the best position to speak at all given what you're liking me for, but this right here is comical. I'm standing here thinking it's going to take days for one of you to finally ask me questions to see if I actually did this or not. I didn't, but considering how most of the planets think about Gundalians, I'm sure there's a chance you'll find some way to hang this on me."

"I could find several people who'd pay just to see this. You're squandering a great opportunity," Deon responded to this mysterious man. "You look like a smart man. Would you like to be king? We hand that out here. No credentials except for being of royal blood. We have the technology to make some changes though. We'll have to take away your Gundalian half to not scare everyone, but after that, you'll fit right in."
"Alright. I think we've said enough," Tec attempted to end.
"Well, normally I'd run this through the king, but then I remembered we actually have a designated leader who makes these decisions, and we also have a co-leader who can provide input as well. Damian and Jamal, I think we should allow Tabitha to get her feet wet with interrogations. Don't you think so?"

"Of course," Jamal answered without giving any further critique on Xavier's blatant disregard of policies that governed the hiring of Spartans. "Before she does that, I have a question for our new Gundalian friend here."
Jamal pulled up a digital file that he just received from someone and put it in front of Tabitha and the Gundalian.
"Pain manipulation...that's pretty dangerous. Says you're pretty strong too, strong enough to go against Bakugan. That's...amazing," Jamal figured out. "There's also a lot of possibilities for how you apply that power... Maybe, just maybe, you turn people into demons by making someone's pain go over the edge, but I'm not buying into that. We saw you the moment you set foot on this planet. Forensics only has the energy in question showing up last night. You didn't do this."
"Now, why did I do that myself instead of letting Tabitha figure that out? Simple. She should've already known that, because Slipstream sent you a notification of an abnormal entry into the planet. So, your highness, this was YOUR hire, so I want you to ask her why she brought this man in knowing what kind of damage he could do against us right now, AND..."
Jamal then presented another holographic file. This time, it was the one that knocked the breath out of everyone. "Why did she 'forget' to mention a split personality on her application, one that is noticeably more 'intimate and commanding'?"

"..." Xavier was speechless for a moment. He had already gotten chewed out by three Spartans, and those files looked like what he thought they were.
"Seems Dasia and Lace are nearby and have scanned them both..." Xavier told himself. "I guess I did make a mistake after all... The Spartans weren't filling Roxy's position at all, and I needed a sixth member... If this means what I think it means, then I may have been too hasty..."
Xavier was reasonable enough to admit when he was wrong, so he just came out and said what Jamal wanted to hear. "Tabitha..."

"Hold on a minute," Tabitha cut him off. "You don't have to ask me anything, because it's very clear what's going on. I'm not wanted here."
"First of all, I have never been diagnosed nor have I ever been aware of anything involving a split personality, so obviously, I wouldn't list it on the application. Did Lace's scan of me tell you common sense as well?"
"Second of all, yes, I was aware of the notification, but I had peace of mind knowing what was currently happening to our guards and getting a potential suspect off of the streets. We don't know if it's one person acting or more than one. If we do, I'm not kept in the loop, possibly for obvious reasons. I just wanted to be sure. That's it."
"To be honest, I understand that you have high expectations, but I'm pretty sure if the creation of the Spartans wasn't made in a hasty manner due to the circumstances, none of you would've been approved either."
