Tinsley took his sweet time waking up. He got out of the sleeping bag to finally recognize that it was Father Lyles who arrived. The shocked look he took on indicated that he possibly forgot that Lyles was supposed to show up at this time. He ignored that completely and cleared his throat for good measure.
"I try to get in some extra hours since I'm working and doing this," Tinsley said to excuse his sleepiness. "Anywho, what's it like on Gundalia since the Emperor returned? Anything new on the Killian situation?"

"Killian has not been resurrected. Their government is like a pseudo-Barodius regime if you get what I mean," Killian reported. "It seems that certain government officials being distant descendants of mine has him spooked. He isolated himself from everyone else aside from Kianna and Tonya. There are kill on sight orders for whoever shows any characteristics of affiliation with any Tribunal member."
"All in all, I'd say that Gallagher did more than we could've asked of him. His reward will be great when this is all over. But, that has to be boring compared to what you're preparing Earth for, am I right?"

"Progress is only boring to me when there's none, so no," Tinsley answered gracefully. "Your stage is set when the rest of ours aren't, so that's all I'm worried about. You're more than ready to finish what Gallagher started. That builds excitement. As for me..."
Tinsley materialized a jar in his hands. It was disgusting. It was full of leviathan-looking parasites. "Funny story about these. You ever wonder why the Hydranoid got so violent in the first place? It was because they used these on potential Excedra candidates," he started explaining. "There was a time when Aquos Hydranoid were the dominant variants. That was until a few irresponsible 'life-choices' resulted in the development of this parasite in their waters. They went extinct because of this. It eats your DNA code and replaces the missing pieces with its own. Genesis Dragonoid needed a way to maintain order among the Dragonoid and Dharaknoid who possessed the Ultimate Warrior Gene. Guess what he did with it?"
Tinsley thought the subject matter was a little funny, so he laughed a little. He didn't spend too much time on that though. He needed to finish the story. "He wasn't allowed to use his own power to change DNA codes of Bakugan, so he used a natural solution: this parasite known as the GodEater."

Lyles was very disturbed by this information. The look of these GodEaters, the sounds they were making, and their purpose disgusted him beyond anything he's ever experienced. It took him everything he had not to throw up in there.
"Forgive me for questioning your methods, Father, but - just out of curiosity - what is its purpose in the grand scheme of things? It's not like these are Hurranians or Mavericks who know not to attack us. These could kill us all if handled improperly," Lyles argued.

"Your concern is valid. These are quite different from what we're used to," Tinsley admitted. "...You know that, at the very least, these can kill White Ones? It killed quite a dozen of them during the war..."
As he said that, images of Naga and Wavern came to mind. He grinned as he thought about them. It's not like they were potential targets or anything...
"Our late friend Mr. Reyes of Eden left us a parting gift. It turns out that information about the GodEater was given to Eden by a nosy Kuzuha. Perhaps she's a lot older than I expected, or information about this parasite is provided in one of the Haos repositories? I'm not so sure. The point is, another of our friends decided to clue him in on it, and he worked behind the scenes to reproduce a version of it. Trace evidence from a Hydranoid subspecies was used to do this. He'd have used it against an Achron wannabee, but...Markus killed him before he could. Ah well."
"I decided to modify the parasite using my powers. With it, we'll be able to rewrite the DNA of an infected into our own. This will enable the repopulation of our organization and serve as a deterrent against certain gods and...a few Achron stragglers that are currently active."

"A Kuzuha? Interesting...Very interesting..." Lyles remarked. "I'm guessing your role in the BBBA comes into play with this parasite thing, huh?"

"Not quite. The parasite and my role in the BBBA is separate," Tinsley denied. "The parasite's introduction to the wild is for political and social reasons. Finances will stay away from that...for now anyway."
"But, let's stop there with Earth for now. Let's talk about Gundalia. We're aware that that someone will attempt to resurrect Killian in the near future. Are you okay with that happening? That's a very dangerous man, you know."

"It'll probably be more trouble than it's worth. I'll allow it," Lyles decided. "His power will be out of control even when he comes back, so they'll be back right where they are now when it happens. I see it better that he's alive anyway. They've dedicated their own time to try and isolate Killian from the rest of the population. All this will do is give me more breathing room to do what I need to do."
"As for what I need to do..." Lyles materialized holograms of a multitude of followers. He amassed them all during his campaign on Gundalia. "It seems outlandish, but...from the way my powers work, I can feel all of the pain that the Emperor's father inflicted upon them. There are many who want him to pay for his father's sins. Many still do not believe in his rule. This is the perfect opportunity...to overthrow their entire government..."

"Hm...is that so...?" Tinsley pondered over the idea. It would certainly put a dent in the power of the new Pillar, and then allow the Tribunal to take control of Neathia's recovering forces. It has to work though...
"Beware of the fact that you could incur the wrath of the Dharaknoid species if you attempt to do that..." Tinsley warned Lyles. He shouldn't forget that Gundalian Emperor's can request the power of their ancestors in the event something like this happens...
"For that plan to work...you'd have to take control by unity, not by assaulting the castle. There were some very violent Dharaknoid in the past... I'd rather not piss them off right now if we can help it."

"Of course. I'll definitely take that into consideration," Lyles listened. "I'm currently keeping their government busy with the protests and the rise in violent crime, so I will keep you updated on any further developments as they come through."

"Sounds good," Tinsley accepted. "Oh, and before we end things here, just a suggestion. I feel like you and Bowen have good chemistry together. Maybe when you do initiate the final phases of your plan, you should take her with you. In fact, I recommend that you both take Gundalia and Neathia together. Not that you have to, but your success rate goes up by a lot when you two are together. Don't get too close now...you hear?"

Lyles had sweat drop down his forehead after the last comment. While Tinsley kept the same tone of voice, there was some terror to be felt. It's not forbidden to be cordial with a fellow Mother or Father, but it is a problem if they become friends. It's all strictly business when it comes to them. If not...Tinsley could very well kill them both...
...It has happened before...
"...Understood, Father," Lyles obeyed. He walked out of the church once he felt like the meeting was over. He took a moment to regain his composure.
"...Still alive... That's good... Just gotta keep going now... Play it cool and we'll be just fine..." Lyles thought to himself...
