"Hm...well, for me, I'd go Division 1. I won against DeAngelo, but I'm still very inexperienced. I haven't matured enough to be a pro yet," Jenna answered for herself. This answer showed she was very self-aware. Not an easy skill to learn by any means.
"For you...I'd think going pro is almost a no-brainer... You have an even stronger case than Tank and Markus had... Not that they weren't deserving or ready to be, but no one has done what you just did... There's practically nothing anyone could say about your choices now. You can go anywhere," Jenna believed. "Wow... I know it's you with all of these choices, but I'm getting overwhelmed just thinking about them. What are you thinking?"

"This might be a surprise, but I thought about the military once," Allen revealed. "I was smart enough to say that while my mom was around, so I got chewed out for that. And, well, not to be a downer, but..." Allen trailed off with this statement and pointed towards his eyewear. It was obvious what he was going to say. Still, this begs the question: why did Sargon try to sway him to the Army to sell out Alana back then? What was he planning? Probably something, but may be less interesting than trying to keep a conversation with his crush friend.
"I guess... Now with everything that has happened here - and with the wide acceptance that I have the world at my fingertips - I am absolutely sure that I have no idea what I want to do," Allen shrugged.
"..." Gorem noticed that the crowd outside was getting bigger by the second. There was no point in warning Allen anymore. He seemed to be stalling on purpose. The only thing that makes sense for Allen's character is that the sheer volume of people focusing on him would distract them from Jenna. She can slip away undetected if she waits here. It would be a perfect strategy, except that Noland, Markus, and Seiki are here and could have done it way sooner. Maybe Allen wanted this time to himself. Maybe everyone else would respect that.
"Anyway, I must admit... What you said sounds nice..." Allen started to say.

Jenna chuckled when Allen admitted he got in trouble over the military comment. It was a nice moment before mentioning his...ailment.
"It is. I'm kinda jealous," Jenna expressed. Before she could say anything else, she returned to what Gorem announced: the presence of the people outside. Despite not acknowledging it immediately, she knew what Allen was doing. He could've easily ended the conversation and went about his business.
"I...I should probably say this since I know we're both thinking it. This is a bit of an awkward situation. You know, with me not thinking about getting stuck down here with the reporters and recruiters outside and all. I guess I got so happy I couldn't just wait. There's that, and...I did seem to glomp you out of nowhere earlier... We're...not moving too fast, are we?" Jenna asked before suddenly realizing the type of question she asked.
"I mean, not in a romantic kind of way of course!" she corrected. "I haven't had someone that I feel I could trust in a long time, so...if I'm being a bit much, you can say so."

Allen could see where Jenna was coming from. He can't lie to himself. He was happy to hear the question she asked, not that Noland and Alana would ever catch him admitting that. What could say or do that would ease her feelings about the situation in the best way?
"I should keep this short before Gorem shoves me out there. I think everything's fine. I also think you should ask yourself if you're moving too fast. I get that how I feel is important, but your feelings are the most important. So, just make sure that you're giving yourself enough time to trust me, if you aren't already doing that. That make sense?" Allen asked.
Allen took a quick five seconds to come up with whatever answer the reporters would want out of him. He then motioned towards the exit, or entrance to the tunnel, depending on how you look at it. "You could wait here until I start talking, then sneak by while they're focused on me," Allen advised. "I'll see you afterwards. And...I'm glad you came down here."

Hearing Allen say that brought a smile to Jenna's face. That was good and all, but now was the time to get Calvin's take on what just happened to him. That's what everyone was waiting for after all. He was bombarded by reporters when he walked out of his tunnel. Calvin manned up and was ready for whatever they threw at him.
"Calvin, are you prepared to talk about what just happened?" a female reporter asked him.
"Ask whatever you like," Calvin allowed.
"How do you think this happened?"
"Without having time to really think about it, all I can say is that his defense is a lot better than anyone could've predicted it to be. I don't think anyone other than him and his friends can really judge it properly. It's that good," Calvin believed. "Gorem's durable, adaptable, and unpredictable. I tried to make him as uncomfortable as possible so I could control each engagement to my favor, but they had an answer for all of them. In some of them, it was even to my own detriment."
"Yeah. I noticed that Dragonus didn't take that many damaging blows from Gorem; yet, each one Dragonus took did so much damage..."
"He was patient. He waited for when we were most vulnerable, and then they struck. I thought I did a good job not letting Gorem have control over how he was going to hit Dragonus. That was the plan my coach and I agreed on after we could guess Allen was the opponent. The fact that Allen and Gorem were able to still hold on despite what we were doing, and then countering the way they did, it just shows how great Allen is."
"What's the plan going forward?
"I'll do whatever I can to cheer my daughter up first," he laid out in front, which elicited a little bit of laughter from the crowd. "Then, I'll look at the replay of the battle a lot, and from there, we'll see what we need to improve on. This'll likely be a period where it's easier to beat me than before, so I'll need to brush up on my skills and be ready for the next battle. I know a lot of people are gonna be down over this, but it's okay. We're gonna grow from this, and we'll be stronger for the next one."
"Calvin, you know we're excited to see how much stronger you'll be. Legion and Revolution fans are gonna be pouring in more support for Tank and Markus than ever before. Do you think you'll be ready for them?"
"I hope so. I'll put in all the work I can to be ready for them. You have my word on that."
"We wish you all the best. And...thank you for making this easy on us. I know this a difficult time, but I'm happy to see that you're more motivated than ever."
"Thank you."

"What Calvin said was right. He did a great job controlling where Gorem was the entire time," Yuji started as soon as they went back on air. "I thought he knew the matchup very well and played it the best way he could. Much - if not all - of the damage Gorem inflicted was through counterattacks. Obviously, if you're facing a defensive brawler, you don't want to be hit by those. Still, it's commendable Calvin limited damage to those counterattacks at all."
"The stats from the battle will support that. Dragonus definitely beat out Gorem in terms of attacks thrown; however, it's usually not a good thing when the primary aggressor loses the battle, and the opponent hasn't attacked that many times, even with the counterattacks included. You can tell if a defensive brawler is rattled if, in their desperation to rack up some damage, they end up with the highest amount of thrown attacks," Miko analyzed. "Allen just wasn't one of those people. I know it looked uncomfortable for him with everything he had to deal with, but in terms of how he fights, this was the ideal scenario for him. And I don't think Calvin faltered in terms of effort. He did what he could, but Allen's defense held up visually and statistically. He even survived an assault from the other Resistors..."
"That young man may have started something huge in this league. That reporter was right. Legion and Revolution will be VERY happy to see what Tank and Markus are gonna do now. DeAngelo has to be more motivated than ever. I think we could see something really big come out of him soon," Yuji predicted.
"This is a great time to be a brawling fan. I know Calvin's defeat stings, but when you look at everyone who competed today, we have many reasons to be excited: Leah and Jadyn are coming, and we could be seeing new competition at the college and pro level. I only wish Benjamin could've been part of that... Oh well. At the very least, he's in one of my top moments of this event. We'll tell you ours along with the recap of today's battles coming next!" Miko concluded before the break.
The Resistors and friends went back to Maryland for some food at Smokey Bones. Everyone in there cheered for them all. They could hardly sit at their big table without everyone staring at them. A nearby customer at the bar was more confused by their appearance than mesmerized by their greatness.
"Um...how did they get here so fast? I thought the event was in Ohio... Is the broadcast on some delay or something?" the customer asked a bartender. The bartender shrugged. She didn't know either.
"I know it doesn't get said often enough, Allen, but you're the man," Noland said even though Yuji has been saying it on air multiple times. "You saved me yet again. I'm still sore from Alana yanking me every time she got nervous for you. She even had tears in her eyes..."

Alana rolled her eyes while Noland was snitching on her. He's lucky she didn't do anything worse than what she did.
"Allen was making me nervous. It's his fault," Alana shifted the blame. "You not being nervous with me and then IGNORING ME made it even worse."
Jadyn, who has listened to every interaction Noland and Alana had throughout the time she was with them, chuckled.
"What?" Alana suddenly asked her.
"Oh, nothing," she replied. "By the way, I know I said this before, but thanks so much for having me, you guys."
"It's no problem at all. It's only fitting to celebrate all of you for such a good day!" Sandra chimed in.

"I'm glad I took the risk and came along. It was a lot more hype than I expected it to be," Lian expressed.
"How are you feeling now that you've done it? Mentally, I mean," Tracy wondered.
"Mostly nostalgic. I'm still somewhat scared of the arena. It's too soon for me to overcome all of that, you know," Lian sighed. "With that said, I feel a lot better seeing the genuineness by everyone to fight clean and just have a good, competitive time, just like it should be. Well...mostly everyone..."
"Shame too... Benjamin could've been good... Very good..." Tracy believed. "Hey, Tank. Noland said that Army girl was saying some 'very interesting' things down there about you. What did she say?"

"Nothing important. Whatever he said never happened," Tank quickly responded.
"I would have come up with a more convincing story before coming here," Gladion chimed in.
"And I'd think you'd back me up here instead of exposing me," Tank retorted.
"Exposing you for what?" Sandra wondered.
"Nothing," Tank responded once again.

"Maybe he's too embarrassed to tell us what happened," Markus tried to reason. "I don't blame you. Who knows what she would've done to you if you said yes."
"Oh my..." Jadyn blushed in embarrassment. She had an idea of where this was going. Her mind may be somewhat...dirty.
"Oh... Is what I'm hearing what I think I'm hearing?" Sandra asked in astonishment. They all knew what was being thought.

"..." Tank had half a mind to choke Markus out. Somehow, Markus found out about it. If Tank doesn't come clean now, they'll keep pressuring him until he spits it out. Plus, what exactly what Tank say yes to that involves what Krystal would do to him? There was only one reasonable suspicion of what it was.
"First off, Markus, I'll get you for that. Second, I think you're all probably thinking what I think you're thinking, so, since we're at a public place and there are kids here, let's just leave it at that," Tank settled.
"I think I know why you're reluctant to come out and say it. You didn't say no. You didn't want to say no..." Gargulion knew. "Hm... Interesting..."

"...My bad, Tank... This one's on me," Noland intervened. He kinda figured it was a topic that you're not really supposed to say in front of other women, especially a grandmother.
"Weird... you're usually able to handle stuff like that no problem... Plus, despite how hot she is, anything to do with her has to be dangerous... What's going through your head, Tank?" Noland thought about.
The waiter came in just in time to spare Tank from having to explain. He had a sigh of relief for that. Kendrick wasn't as lucky. His interaction with Father Tinsley was fresh on his mind. It was all he could think about. No one could really see it on his face, because he was acting normal. What he knew troubled him...
Speaking of which...

Tinsley was at the California residence from earlier in the episode. He was laying on a bed next to a half-naked woman: Julie Makimoto, in case the last name from before didn't ring a bell.
"He's home..." Julie suddenly said.
"Okay," Tinsley shrugged.
"...I meant Calvin..."
"Oh... I thought you meant your husband."
"Is there anything I should know or do before you do this?"
"Yes. Be faithful to your husband despite your lack of feelings for him."
"..." This was shocking to hear. Tinsley has teased her numerous times, but now he says this?
"Your responsibility is to be an observer. You will not compromise that by wishing for me to partake in such ridiculous relations...or else..."
"...I understand, Father..." she accepted.
"Very good. As for what's about to happen, you will likely be questioned by authorities. For that reason..." Tinsley reached over to lay hands on her forehead. It was unknown what happened to her exactly, but... "You will say nothing."
"..." Julie shed a tear. She knows what just happened to her... "I won't..."
"Very good. I'll be seeing you." Tinsley got out of the bed. He suddenly sank into the floor. His body was distorted enough to ignore the natural laws of the universe. How could he do such a thing...?

Calvin was in his massive backyard having a drink with his agent, Alexander Fushichou. Him and Rumi were finally successful in getting Nia to calm down and relax. Rumi was on guard duty in Nia's room for right now. Calvin just needed some fresh air, and probably a new book on parenting a kid who's your biggest fan.
"I'm curious, Calvin. What was going through your head during that battle?" Alex wanted to know.
"'What did I get myself into?'" Calvin joked around, which elicited some laughter. "Constant astonishment and amazement. I couldn't believe Allen was pulling what he did off, but at the same time, it was wonderful to see."
"You know, it's normal to sound a little disappointed over what happened," Alex reminded him.
"Only for a little bit, but everything's fine," Calvin assured him.

Tinsley rose from the ground with a disapproving look on his face. Alarmed at Tinsley's sudden appearance, Calvin jumped backwards and got in a fighting stance. Alex was surprised by Calvin's sudden movement. He wasn't surprised enough to drop his drink and run though.
"...I'm not wasted... And I know I'm not trying to fight you, so... What are you doing?" Alex asked Calvin. This sounded like Alex couldn't see Tinsley right in front of them. That was too bad. Two of his armor bearers appeared on the property from the shadows. These entities WERE visible to Alex...
"...Dan...Kuso...and Jimmy...Kyudai?" Alex gasped. This armor bearer cut his eyes towards Alex. It didn't look happy. Neither did Tinsley. "But Dan's dead... How's that possible!? Who are you!?"
"..." Tinsley gave a simple nod to Calvin and had that grin on his face. 'Yeah, I'm here to kill you, so get ready' is what the look was in words. Tinsley knew what would happen, but was still excited as if what will come next is a surprise. "Time to die...Achron scum..."
