(Please Read) Rules and Battle System Changed

While battling is temporarily shutdown so I can change the battle rules to keep the balance, here are what I've changed so far.

1. Since as none of them are interested in the BakuCore button and the Faction field, I have taken them out and they will never be used again.

2. Aurelus Faction is no longer a primary Faction, and therefore, beginners cannot choose Aurelus as their main Faction. Seeing as Aurelus is considered as a rare and powerful Faction, the Bakugan TCG has less Action Cards for Aurelus due to the Faction being too dependent on playing with other Factions. Even though you are not an Aurelus user, you are still allowed to buy Aurelus Bakugan from the shop.

3. With the BakuCore button taken out, beginners can now receive 9 BakuCores. Click here to see more.

4. Last and most importantly, part of the Battle Phase in the battle system has been changed. After noticing that the second player engaging the battle phase would have higher chance of winning, I've changed that from now on the player who first engages the battle phase will be allowed to use up to 2 BakuCores per round (which normally both players are allowed to use 1 BakuCore per round, but since the second player always has the advantage on winning, I will give the first player this privilege).


Any comments or objections? I need to hear your thoughts and opinions on this before re-opening the battle stadium once again. Here is the poll you can also vote and we will see what else can be changed.

I strongly object to #4. I argue that's even worse than what was happening before. With your proposal, the first player will have an even bigger advantage than the second player previously had. Need some examples?

Power Ritual (Energy Cost 1): For this turn, +1 Energy for each BakuCore that your Bakugan (all on team) hold.

Light's Courage (Energy Cost 2): Add +400 B-Power. If your Bakugan holds the most BakuCores, +800 B-Power instead.

Stand Together (Energy Cost 4): Stop non-Haos Bakugan's attack. If your Bakugan are holding the most BakuCore(s), you may play this for free.

Hyper Pegatrix (Energy Cost 2) :: 500 B-Power, Damage Rating: 7
Special ability: If Hyper Pegatrix has two or more BakuCores, it gains +500 B-Power

If you're determined to do something about it (I'd do nothing if it was me), then do this: have players alternate on who goes first every round.

And here's an unpopular opinion. There's nothing you can do to stop the second player advantage anyway. It existed in the old system too. I have a perfect example for you. He came at me on his very first post. For most people, they'd have lost to Aiden. He went second, so he had the undeniable advantage; yet, he still lost. People just have to deal with the fact that it'll exist no matter what. Of course, if you want to prove me wrong, I encourage you to do so.

All right so it is settled. #4 will not be used and this is now added to the battle rules:

The player who created the brawl goes first; for later rounds, players will take turns starting each round. For example, if player 1 rolls their Bakugan first in round 1, then player 2 will roll their Bakugan first in round 2, and so on.
