Card Name: Protostar Card Type: Ability Card Card Classification: Green Attribute: Haos Bakugan: Leonidas (Evolutions) Played: During Battle Description: A variation of the Storm Abilities, Star Abilities are attuned for use of the Leonidas species. Protostar applies the effects of the said Star type to the battlefield. Effect: Gain 1 Star Count. Give battlefield Rotating trait. (Rotating - All non-flying Bakugan rapidly move towards the edge of the arena due to centrifugal force. Abilities used by Bakugan at the edge are halved. The force of the rotations sends the Bakugan to the edge immediately. (Flying is defined either by the Bakugan having wings, being specified it can fly in the Bakugan's description, or through an ability or support weapon.) This effect lasts for a total of 2 opposing turns or until another Star Ability is played.
-Let's give this a shot-
Set: Private

The "rotating" trait is denied. You packed two effects into one status, so you're basically using three effects. Nice try though.

Not to be saying you're wrong, but I'm not seeing the second effect in the status. The only effect I see in it is 'Abilities used by Bakugan at the edge are halved.' It's a time release effect, taking two turns for any given Bakugan to be pushed to that point. It also specified that Bakugan that can fly are unaffected. Could you explain to me what the second effect is?

Uh...that was my brother...that wasn't me...
That's on me. For some odd reason, I said something that was completely unrelated to this card, and I have no idea how it happened. I might need to get some rest since I'm sick...
Anyway, the actual reason why the card is denied is due to the duration you're halving the effects. As a regular ability - meaning not a forbidden ability - you can't outright halve abilities throughout the entire round. It can only be a max of two turns, or you can only target things that have already been played.

Okay, that makes more sense. Noted for the future.

My mistake. It's denied. I was informed that you didn't do what I told you to do. I said 2 turns max. You made it four. I can officially deny it if you don't follow my directions this time.

So...two of the opponent's turns... Welp, I tried. Two of their turns also means at least one of your turns, which equals three turns minimum.
Officially denied
