I like it... Ability Activate! Sky Crusher! Negate all SWs OR negate the Gate Card. The owners of these items lose 200G. bakugan-generation.proboards.com/thread/37505/sky-crusherSo let's negate that Gate Card, Amanshu is still Ventus and my protection is still gone BUT, at the end of your *(edit) NEXT turn I get 300G and I have 200G from your last turn and at end of turn I get 200G so.... Amanshu: 1700G (A/3, S/0, F/0, SW/0) {+200G per turn.} Janthide: 900G (A/2, S/0 F/0 SW/1, G/1)

Level 1 Ability, Activate! Antipital Storm! Now, normally, I wouldn't be using these abilities against somebody who couldn't use Support Weapons with their current rank, but you're an exception. Antipital Storm transfers 500 Gs from all opposing battle pieces and gains an additional 500 Gs. Additionally, Soul Cannon procs because two turns have passed after this, so I'll use it to gain myself 300 Gs. Me: 2200 2N 1S 1F You: 1500 1N 1S 1F Antipital: bakugan-generation.proboards.com/thread/38497/antipital

Me: 2200 2N 1S 1F You: 1500 1N 1S 1F Antipital: bakugan-generation.proboards.com/thread/38497/antipitalI believe there is a math issue? So I had 1700G and you took 500G. I gain 200G end of turn making me 1400G not 1500G. But thanks for the addition. Your G is right though. Okay so on to the next move. I'm okay with your SW. Advantage or not, I'm not gonna go down without making you work for it. It's time for something you've never seen before. Ability Activate! Zephyr Armament! Turn two of your cards in the used pile into SWs with 0G (The effects of those cards are still in play, but as they are no longer cards.) These cards no longer count for the card count or effect limitations as they are SWs. bakugan-generation.proboards.com/thread/37496/zephyr-armament See! I have my own SWs, I'm okay. Anyways since I can't pick Zephyr Armament (Sad face), I will pick Emerald Surge and Ankh of Wind. So that's two extra Ability cards for me, I have two cards left instead of zero. I also have... Fusion Ability Activate! King Tactics! Choose any effect from your bakupack and activate it, then gain 100G for every card in all Brawlers' used pile. bakugan-generation.proboards.com/thread/37513/kings-tactics I have a tough choice to make but a free move is a free move so let us reflect your card effects as per the ability of my card Arrows of Shu. So starting with Propulsion Boost, no G-Power changes for you, and then your G goes down by 500G. Soul Cannon gets reflected so that 300G of yours is gone and I get my protection back (Yay). Oh and I get to 100G for all cards in all brawler's used pile. I used 2 cards (Because the other two are SWs) and you have used 2 so that's 400G. And of course I get my 200G from my end of turn. Amanshu: 2000G (A/2, S/0, F/1, SW/2) {Protected / +200G per turn.} Janthide: 1400G (A/2, S/0 F/0 SW/1, G/1)

You mind if I just use an Ability Breaker on your Armament? No? Okay. How about I use something even stronger? Ability Activate! Rage Flash! This is a special Shop Card, allowing me to transfer 400 Gs from opposing Battle Pieces, then prevent and/or negate/reflect all opposing Abilities. Time to negate! The transfer doesn't apply because of protection, however, so we won't factor that in. Just to keep things simple for calculations, any G-Power Boosts you've received from your abilities are no longer applied. Also, no protection or reflection. Also, your SW Cards are back to being cards.
Me: 2200 You: 0 (Math: Until I used Antipital Storm, you were at 500 if your abilities didn't apply. So with Antipital active, I transferred that 500 from you, leaving you at 0.)
Rage Flash: Transfer 400G away from each opposing Bakugan/Support Weapon. Prevent your opponent from using normal abilities and/or negate/reflect any abilities/effects. Shop.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but according to this...you negated all of my Ability Cards. At the time I only had Zephyr Armament, Sky Crusher, and Kings Tactics (Do fusion ability cards get subjected to a normal counter?). The other two cards are SWs right, which means they must be countered by an effect that counters something that isn't an ability card or special ability card. Now I understand that they become Abilities again but only after you countered the cards, meaning they are still in play as long as no other effects are countering them.
With King's Tactics gone you have no reflection problems so now you go back to 2200 and I lose 400G.
Me: 1600 You: 2200
Basically I keep the 200G per turn and stuff except for one teensy problem. If you remember, you negated Sky crusher, making your Gate active and making Amanshu Haos. This means he's back to 500 and then you transfer it away.
So basically, in a complicated way I'm saying you are absolutely right... I just wanted to sort of explain it to myself. So I'm in trouble...
Except I still have my special.
Special Ability Activate! Wing Slicer! Copy the effects of one card from your Bakupack OR Reflect all enemy cards and decrease enemy G-Power by 200G. So using my last counter I reflect Rage Flash and the others follow suit. So we are back to where we were last turn except I have an additional 200G thanks to the last turn's passing and I reflected the effect of Rage storm meaning I transferred 400G from your pieces (800G total) and you also lose 200G from Wing Slicer. bakugan-generation.proboards.com/thread/37507/wing-slicer
Me: 3000G You: 400G
But Wait! There's more. Remember I have two cards left now thanks to Zephyr Armament. If I don't use them now you will get me with a counter so it is time to try and bury you.
Double Ability Activate! Zephyr Armament (2nd copy), and Emerald Surge (2nd copy)! So let's make Sky Crusher and Kings Tactics into SWs. and I am still protected and gain 300G a turn.
Wait. I have another Ability card AND a Fusion!?!?!?! And I played Zephyr Armament this turn? And I have another special counter?
Consecutive Ability Activate! Sky Crusher (2nd Copy) and King's Tactics (2nd Copy)! So let's negate that Antipal's ability with Sky Crusher and you lose 200G, not that it matters since that loss of Antipal's tranfser puts you down to 0G and I have my protection back (redundant I know). More importantly is King's Tactics, which is fused with the new Armament not the old one. I choose ANY effect from my bakupack. I am picking the first effect of Negativity Vortex. bakugan-generation.proboards.com/thread/37494/negativity-vortex
So remember Antipal? It can't do anything...for you, but it can do something for me. I just turned Antipal into a card that counts for your card count, leaving you with zero ability cards to play. Then I gain 100G per number of cards in everyone's used pile. So that means I get 600G from me and 400G from you (since antipal is a card now).
with my end of turn 300G, that makes the score:
Amanshu: 4300G (A/4, S/1, F/1, SW/4) {Protected / +300G per turn.} Janthide: 0G (A/4, S/0 F/0 SW/1, G/1)
I may not win. But I'm gonna make sure my early game mistake wasn't in vain.

Okay, so I confirmed with Zane on discord (Damian), and he said I was allowed to counter. So, Ability Activate! Sky Twister! Since it specifies Ability and not Ability Card, it can counter Special Abilities, I think. 90% sure. If I can't, then I have a backup move where I'll use Special Ability called Illumina - Strength to change your reflect from being considered a debuff to a buff. And yes, I know it sounds strange, but it does work. In the end, it's lights out for you because you won't have an ability slot left. Primary move: Sky Twister Me: 2200 You: 0 Sky Twister: - Blue Ability Card - Negates the opponent's ability - Ventus bakugan-generation.proboards.com/thread/37774/sky-twisterSecondary move: Illumina Strength Me: 2000 You: 1600 Choose one active effect. Count it as either a buff or a debuff against whoever it is targeting. (Ex. A decrease counted as a buff = increase). Shop.

Count it as either a buff or a debuff against whoever it is targeting. (Ex. A decrease counted as a buff = increase). Shop. Yup. Even when I battled, as long as you have a counter limit, you can always counter. I admit the Debuff thing makes no since since I didn't debuff, I straight up negated it. Wouldn't a debuff be a negative effect that lingers on a target? Eh, it doesn't matter and yes it does say ability...but a normal counter limit does refer to Special Abilities so I can't see why not, I guess you would have to ask Damien But yes you got me, I can't beat you without a SW, otherwise I would say I had chance, but I knew I didn't, just had to try. I miss the days when I could have a SW from the get go but I understand the point. So the game is yours as I have no moves and you have the higher G-Power. If you're wanting to take my bakugan, then I will advise you to talk to Damien to make sure that your primary move is correct and you can counter my special. If it's not then I would like your last move reviewed only because I'm not convinced about the debuff move. Or, you can just take the win and let me on my merry way. Your choice.

Even if I wanted to take a Bakugan, which I don't, you can't in the Gym Arena. It's one of the basic rules. And as with Illumina - Strength, I don't really have a good explanation. Take Frame Creation, for example. Its first effect is making a Bakugan in your Bakupack, then you can do certain things to it. If you use Illumina - Strength to turn the initial making of the Bakugan from a 'buff' to a 'debuff', they don't get the Bakugan. While getting the Bakugan isn't considered a buff, it's still targetable by the card. Does that make sense? I hope it does, because I literally can't explain it any other way. Anyways, I asked for confirmation on discord, and I'll make another reply on this thread when I have the answer.

Received a confirmation by Keto that is if says Ability and not Ability Card, it's usable against Special Abilities.

If I can go toe to toe with a master brawler now, imagine how fun it will be when I'm back to full strength. That was a great game. I learned a lot, and I believe I'm not as rusty as I thought.

Keep in mind that I’m only ranked Master. In actually, I’m probably only about as good as a skilled or pro. But still, not bad, not bad at all. But, I do warn you. Some people on here are not nearly as simple as I am, nor do they willingly use their weaker Bakugan to practice. (Glares at Grimm.) And, I admit, without Antipital I would’ve lost against you. Really drives home the point that I need to make more cards, but I still don’t want to overburden the staff members. Good job on your return brawl! I can only expect you to be even stronger as time goes on. Zeno Keto This Brawl is done. I managed to win, and Xenos lost.
