Hello all,
I think I can use some of your expert help to identify this bakugan card.
First some history. I was walking around with my wife trying to find some old collectible playing cards. I wasn’t looking for nothing in particular. It could be Pokemon, Bakugan, Magic, etc, etc. I was just looking to see if I could find some of the first editions on the local and older stores.
Well, I found it. I found a kind of boosters with 28 cards each plus one thicker card. There are mixed cards from 2 expansions – 15a and 48 (with no letters.)
All the cards are write only in english, no french version.
Before I continue I must say that I know zero about Bakugan cards. I just made a research today.
At the store there were 4 of this giant boosters. I don’t think this is a deck at all. There are not 2 equal cards on this 28 (the thicker card can be repeated) so I will call it “giant booster”. Feel free to correct me.
I bought the four.
The cards are in a card board box and the cards are not sealed by no mean neither the card board box. I ask to the shop’s lady why they weren’t sealed. She respond “it came like that”.
So I went back home and I search on Ebay for the most expensive single Bakugan card .
I was amazed. I have one Doom Card 48/48. And yes, that was what really amazed me.
The set number is 48/48 instead of 46/48 like all the other cards that I saw on pictures online.
The cards are brand new, great quality and I don’t think they are fake.
Pictures link bellow. What do you think? I got a fake or a rare printing mistake??
