Song of Heaven, Screeches of Hell: Chapter 2 Negatus sat down wearily in a plastic chair, the metal legs screeching in a rusty protest. They were all in an abandoned warehouse, and a fairly large one, for that matter, because Gazerius could stand completely in it. He rubbed his scar thoughtfully as the intense heat began to drop, fires of a pentagram closing, the inferno from hell dropping back into the ground, cracks forming the pentagram sealing together. Chase was standing away from it, his eyes closed with the bakugan on his shoulder. His sister, Isabelle, was clser to the bakugan that was lying on the floor beneath Gazerius. He sighed again, and closed his eyes, leaning back against the chair, another groan of protest emitting from the ancient thing.

Gazerius roared triumphantly, if albeit softly. The dragon labeled as yang lay befor ehim, metal covering its wings, the inferno's having melted raw atoms in the air to form it. The inferno has remade him, and the hatchling of it had also formed along. It had taken seven straight hours and the heat had risen to over ninety degrees in 3 minutes. Now he rested, his claws burning from he etching and grafting, his air huffing slowly, his eyes dilated and staring.

Isabelle walked slowly and knelt beside Yang where he lay. "Uhmmm...Yang? H-How are you feeling?" She asked hesitantly after watching the gruesome transformation.
Yang rose to his knees, then his feet. He was smiling, stretching out his new body. "A bit sore, but I've never felt more POWERFUL in my life!" With that, he looked upward and launched a pillar of fire from his jaw, melting a hole in the roof. "This is just amazing! The power coursing through me is unbelievable!"
Nightmare appeared on Isabelle's shoulder, speaking out loud using telepathy. "Oh, but you don't LOOK like you evolved, do you Yang? All it looks like is that you've gained some metal on your wings." Yang smiled, ready to give a demonstration of his new power.
"Looks can be...decieving my dear Nightmare..." He said. "For now, I am my OWN inferno. I am Satanic Flame Yang!" As he roared his new name, a pillar of fire enveloped him and blew the roof completely off of the warehouse. "And my power once again FAR surpasses the likes of yours."

Negatus opened one eye lazily, a blan stare of which showed his tiredness. "You know, that wasn't necessary at all. All you had to do was talk. Blowing the roof off was quite noisy, and has probally attracted attention of the authorities. Honestly, you aren't that strong. It was just a fragment of Gazerius' strength, anyway." Standing up, he dusted off his clothes, and looked around the remains of the warehouse. "And since the authorities are most likely already on the way, I believe we should go now." Turning around he began to walk toward the door, and spoke again. "And All bakugan in ball mode, please. Can't have you just walking around, or they'd arrest us for sure. Of course, I am a millionare..."

Gazerius growled at Yang, lifting one Claw forward. "Quiet, Youngling. Your power may not be much, but it is stronger than many. So obey yourself, and do not go picking fights. One mistake, and you could go up in flames. Understand?" He turned away, his long tail swing up as his body collapsed into a sphere, shooting onto Negatus' shoulder, landing with a soft thud. |

Yang growled. "Fine. Whatever you say." With that, his body collapsed into a spiraling purple shade, tinted with gold, and returned to his sphere form and landing on Isabelle's shoulder. The hatchling did the same, only in a shape similar to an egg and landing in Isabelle's hand, when she quickly put it in her pocket.
"Well well well Yang, you need to learn to control your anger." Nightmare said, mockingly. "We don't want to be caught, now do we?" Yang turned, opening in his new ball form. The wings of it now coated in a metal like titanium, a metal ring now around the ball. "Nightmare..." He started, ready to explode, but Isabelle quickly silenced them as they all walked out the door. Her brother followed silently, and the 17-year-old twins exited the building.
"So what's next...?" Isabelle asked Negatus quietly.

Negatus smiled, his shoes padding on the shakily paved and old sidewalk. "Well, sense we're in New York," He said, his head tilting to the left slightly, "I'd figure we'd go see a matinee of Hamlet, get a burger, and go to a hotel. Course, that all depends if I can remember the code to my Swiss account. If I can't, we'll just go to an alleyway, get a box, and go to sleep. Any of that sound fun to you kids?" |

Isabelle and Chase looked at eachother. How was any of this a good idea? "Uhhh...the hotel sounds nice..." Isabelle said finally. "Boxes...aren't good." Isabelle shuddered, remembering how she and Chase had spent 6 years of their lives. "If you can't remember that code or whatever, PLEASE tell me Gazerius can, like, dig into your brain and find it or something?"

Negatus stopped and turned back at them, one eyebrow raised. "'Can Gazerius Dig into your brain or something to get it out?' NO! Of course he can't. He made a deal with me, and I him. As long as I live, I cannot harm him, nor can he harm me. At anything, if I don't remember it," He said turning around, a huge smile plastered to his face, "I have my credit card, after all. Oh, and what do you have against Hamlet? Would you rather see a Matinee of Spider Man? They do have that, you know." |

Isabelle's eyes widened when Negatus yelled at her. She didn't mean KILL him or anything, more like scanning his brain but whatever. "I don't have anything against anyplace, all I know is I want food." As if on cue, her stomach growled. "Now can we go eat please?"
Chase stepped over next to his sister. "And hell if it comes down to it, there's a McDonalds right down the street." Then he smiled. "And if that's not glamorous enough for ya, I'm pretty sure there's a soup kitchen somewhere."

Negatus stopped immediately, pulling out a plasic card from his pocket. "I can drop this in a sewer, and leave you here. How fun would that be for you, eh? Now, just follow. I need to call someone, anyway." Pulling out a silver phone, he turned to them. "I'll be back soon. Just don't get yourselves into trouble." He then walked around the corner, Flipping open the phone, dialing a number. Speaking into it, he spoke to someone obviously at his company. "Send the Limo. No, not the blue one, black, idjit. 472 Wickerstreet. Thats right." Closing the phone, he walked back around, clapping his hands together. "Alright. We got about Thrity minutes to wait. Anyone have a deck of cards?" |

Isabelle almost laughed, holding up her card box. "Uhh...this is about the size of it, and it's all of Yang and Nightmare's ability cards. So deck of cards, yes! Cards for go fish or poker or something, no."
Nightmare opened on her shoulder. "Well, I can think of one possible way to burn time...so Yang, you feel like testing out that power of yours?"
Yang appeared on her other shoulder. "I NEVER thought you would be stupid enough to ask that question Nightmare..."
Isabelle grabbed Nightmare out of the air and put him in her pocket. "Both of you shut up!" She said, and passing people started to stare at them.
Chase stared at a large group of people. "Or we don't HAVE to wait half an hour and I can just STEAL us a car. It's up to you."

Negatus sighed, rubbing his temples. As he spoke, his voice was tired and cold. "Look, I really don't want any MORe trouble with the police. I could buy a card offa someone if I needed to, but no. We're going to wait for the Limo. Oh, and did I mention it has a mini bar?" he said, lifting his head up and turning to look at the two, his mismatched eyes oddly not ctaching any attention from passerby. |

Isabelle's head perked up. "Mini bar? Does it have just alcohol or like, little sandwiches and junk?" Yang shook his head at his partner's ADHD. "Oh for the love of...Hey Isabelle, the world is not going to end if you don't get a snack sometime soon."
Isabelle glared at the Bakugan. "Well hey, we haven't eaten since we went out to look for Nightmare at 9 o clock LAST NIGHT. It's 12 PM now. I'm friggin hungry, sue me."
Chase glared at two passing boys who stared at his sister as though she were insane. "I'm just going to suggest you keep walking." He said, showing the blade he carries and quickly putting it away. Sure enough, they moved on a bit more quickly than before. "Lets take this a little further into the alley to wait." Chase said "If the limo knows where to go, then we may as well go where we can draw less attention to ourselves with our conversation."
