Leah exited the World Tournament Grounds and continued into the park. For some reason, the place was almost deserted. "Wow, it's usually way more crowded than this..." She said out loud, seemingly to no one. Then a small blue sphere floated out of her pocket and sprang open, and a sweet voice emitted from it, almost musically.
"Well M'lady, with those Soul Takers being around, I'd assume that some people just don't feel very safe any more..." Leah nodded and turned to face the floating Bakugan. "Yeah, you're probably right Crystania." She said, pulling out her gauntlet. "It still would've been nice to find SOMEONE for us to test your new abilities on though!" With that, Leah sighed and sat down on a bench, Crystania resting on her shoulder.

Solo was leaning against a tree with his back to it underneath the shade. His golden hair shone in the few stray rays of light that made it past the thick leaves of the tree. He was absentmindedly tossing a small red sphere in the air, and catching it like it was a marble. Looking around he didn't really see much that caught his eye until he noticed a rather attractive looking female. She had caught his eye, and that was an accomplishment, however it wasn't a date that he was looking for. No he had just gotten some new cards thanks to battling hard with his guardian bakugan Tyran. It was a darkus bakugan, but no one would ever know that because he was holding a pyrus bakugan.
He caught part of her conversation with her guardian bakugan, and he couldn't help but smile. It seemed that they wanted someone to brawl with, and well he was the perfect candidate. On his shoulder out of sight one would be able to see the small unfolded bakugan on his shoulder. It resembled a saber tooth tiger, and it had golden stripes on its bodies. The stripes matched its golden fangs, and he looked over at his partner which was out of sight from prying eyes, and decided to see if he was up for a brawl. Tyran was a bit aggressive sometimes, which was a perfect contrast to his calm personality.
"So Tyran wanna see if we can brawl those people? I mean it might be kind of fun to do after all they seem very strong? What do you think?" he said in a low whisper so that no one would hear him.
"I say why not after all it has been a while since I have gotten to stretch my claws." his partner said in a husky tone.
Allow Tyran to get back into ball form he put him in his pocket, and walked over to the girl with a smile on his face. His deep blue eyes looked her over, and he knew that she was strong just from that one look. After all if he wanted to be the best brawler he would have to be able to gauge someone's strength based on his first look of them or be doomed to lose.

Leah looked up at this new boy, who just stood there smiling. It was honestly kind of...creepy. "Hey, uh, unless I can help you with something, you're blocking the view of the clouds." She said with a giggle. Then suddenly, Crystania sprang open again.
"Crystania? What's the deal, girl?" Leah asked the Bakugan, confused by her Bakugan's sudden appearance. Crystania simply sighed before she spoke. "I can sense the Darkus Bakugan's presense, you may present him to us now.
Leah's eyebrow rose at Crystania's words. Well, Crystania was always more keen on her surroundings than most Bakugan were, more calm as well. Something that definitely made the two of them polar opposites. Then Crystania spoke up again, and Leah simply allowed her to do the talking. "Besides, only a fool wouldn't notice him on your shoulder near that tree back there.
Leah turned bright red. Wait...I didn't see them... She thought. Then she shrugged it off. It was probably just Crystania's keen senses that tipped her off...yeah, that had to be it.

A laugh came out out of his mouth as the blue bakugan started spouting stuff about his true bakugan. Tyran floated out of his pocket, and landed on his shoulder with relative ease. This girls bakugan had very keen senses, which could only mean that they were incredibly strong. Staring down at the girl with his deep blue eyes he wondered if she would accept his challenge if he decided to make one towards her. After all she did want someone to test her abilities, and he needed to test drive some of his new abilities. It seemed like a perfect match to him. The Aquos bakugan however didn't seem very friendly, and was acting kind of rude. With a sigh he shrugged it off as he stared at the girl.
"Well since your bakugan decided to ruin my fun by exposing my partner here I suppose I will just have to introduce myself. My name is Solo Alexander Rose, and this here is my guardian bakugan Tyran. Don't let his attitude worry you though he is just a big teddy bear on the inside." he said to her with a warm smile.
At those words Tyran let out a savage growl, and went into ball form to hit Solo in the cheek. Though it didn't really do much to him he gave a fake flinch to make his partner feel better. Once Tyran settled back on his shoulder he smiled at the girl once again. Thinking about his next words very carefully he decided that he should probably just be up front with his intentions. However before he could Tyran took the initiative.
"My idiot partner here Solo would like to ask you to brawl. However since his brain is working at the pace of a slug right now I suppose I have to ask you instead. So wanna brawl?" his partner said.
"Well since someone is being an irritable house cat today, and wouldn't let me do it my way. Yes I wanted to ask you to brawl?" he said to the two as him, and Tyran shot electric looks at one another.

Leah started out giggling, then gradually made her way to a laugh. It was almost comical how angry Tyran had gotten. Immediately after she'd calmed down, Leah stood up and strapped her Gauntlet to her wrist. Crystania remained on her shoulder. If she hadn't been in her sphere form, she'd be smirking as well.
"I'm Leah St.Claire, and well, to be honest, I'm just gonna hope that you two brawl better than you get along." Leah said, both her and Crystania making a slight laugh. "Because, currently, and I don't mean to brag or anything...we're number 9 on the World Rankings!" Crystania nodded as best she could in her current form. "We do accept your challenge, however, knowing our abilities, do you still wish to issue it?"
Leah was already walking toward a more open space, expecting him to follow and challenge them. "So what's it gonna be Rosy?"

Listening to the girl talk about their standing didn't do much for him except make him more determined to knock her down. People that bragged, or thought that their abilities were superior to others just because of their rank didn't do much for him. With him, and Tyran both nodding to one another they took off after the girl catching up easily until they were both standing in a clear battlefield. Hmmm it will be nice to see how I stack up to someone so strong. I will give it everything I have got just to make her see that rank isn't everything! he thought to himself with a smile.
Strapping his gauntlet to his wrist, and forearm he smiled at her. He had a special gauntlet that his father made for him many years ago. It resembled a sword of sorts, and it made him feel much better. Looking at the girl he grabbed Tyran as he turned into his sphere form, and he gave an angelic laugh that floated through the sky. Staring at her he was ready.
"Lets hope that you are ready! GAUNTLET POWER STRIKE!" he shouted as his gauntlet lit up.

Crystania would have grinned if she could. "I admire your courage, boy. Let us hope it will assisst you in this battle." Leah placed her own field card in her gauntlet, holding it up. "Gauntlet Power Strike!" She yelled, activating it. Suddenly, a blue glow came from it and a multi-colored glow came from the ground. Time slowed itself to a stop. Leah then pulled a gate card from her card box which had an Aquos symbol on it. "Let's start the show then!" She said. ~Raven was new here around these areas. He just got back from working with Calvin his male teammate. Raven was a black haired smart guy, kind of cocky but cool. He's been working with Calvin and the team for about 4 Months now, trying to keep the area protected.~ As Raven is walking in the park, just getting some fresh air nothing big, AirStrike Neos had jumped out of Raven's pocket. "Raven....theres something near us." AS Neos said in a worried tone, as if it was something dark and evil. "Are you sure, I have that kind of feeling also", Raven replied.
They continued walking, watching their backs. Trying to keep up with one another. Then all of sudden they heard chattering from the shadows. "Did'ya hear that Neos?" Raven said sounding scared but cocky. "Yeah....theres someone over there" Neos said pointing towards a shadowy area. "If you're hear, show yourselfs!!" Raven shouted. As they saw a shadow, of a huge creature. Something had jumped out....nothing but a rabit. "It was something else, not that rabit...but what?" Raven said to Neos keeping low. |

*Emerges from the shadows* Well, look at that. A World Fighter they call Raven. *Alpha Sanity in ball form comes in front of Treeko* "I can hanlde them you know."
