Rising Tempers (Drim vs Leah and Chris, plot)

((Please note this is a ROLE PLAYING BRAWL. This means there will be no G-Power and the card DESCRIPTIONS will sway this match.))

Drim walked through the battle arena, his bloodshot eyes slowly shifting from left to right. He had lost yet again. To another world soldier. Whether he liked it or not, he was losing his edge, and needed it back desperately. A few worthless pawns would work wonders to restore Impachi to his full potential.

Stepping toward the comentator's booth, he kicked the man out of his seat, taking the microphone. "ANY ONE of you worthless scum bags who even THINK I'm losing my skill can meet me in the arena at exactly 4:00 this evening. There, I will SHOW you just how we can be." Drim turned away, leaving Impachi to leave his own maniacal touch to the grim message. "Oh, and if any of you even think about running from it...well..." His voice suddenly turned from comical to deep and demonic, as if he'd been under the effects of his ability, Jeweled Joker. "We'll find you." With that, he turned away, returning to Drim's shoulder and allowing the man to retake his position.

At 3:48, Drim sat in the arena, awaiting for whatever worthless scum would take the place of his victim. He didn't know or care if Dai or the others would be there to support him. All he needed right now was Impachi.

Glancing at his watch, he noticed that it was just about time, so he clicked on the bakuwatch, cycling through the venues the arena could transform into. "I think it's time for a change in venue!" He shouted, ready to test his personal upgrade to the bakuwatch. The watch sparked, shooting bolts of energy before changing the area around him into a lush forest, full of life. Drim cycled through the gate card selections, throwing one silently into the battle field. "Come and get it." He muttered, waiting for his enemy.

''So....you really want to protect your reputation as a deadly fighter, I have to say you something....Attacking weak brawlers shows the opposite, I know you aren't just a coward who attacks the weak, so I am doing yourself a favor...I will be your opponent here, Come on Nega Vinarax, we have to do this for the sake of...'' Chris halt for a second, he didn't want Drim to notice his true objective behind this battle...so he had to think twice what to say there ''...reality...''

Nega remained silent as always, he never has something to say; so that wasn't really a surprise, Chris just waited his normal signal to start, that thing he does with the eye....Chris grabbed his bakugan and send him into the gate card, the big dude stand with all of his....colosity, ready to face the enemy they have in front of them ''Come on Drim, let's have a good battle....to be proud of it...''

Leah stepped in the arena as she heard of this shadow fighter's challenge. Scanning the area, she spotted Chris - a good friend and teammate. Looked like they both wanted to take him on. It was fine with her as long she got to brawl as well. Taking her place to the side of Chris she spoke with her eyes set at Drim - "Let me help clean this up, Chris." It would be a tough brawl, but was definitely going to be exciting.

"Hmph! What an interesting challenge!" Leah smirked with a sly smile as she grabbed her Bakugan from her pocket and threw it to the field. " Alright then, Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Go Aquos Crystania!"

Drim opened his bloodshot eyes. World Fighters? THE WORLD FIGHTERS? Drim twitched, grabbing Impachi and tossing him straight up into the air silently. "Chris...and Leah..." He said at last, muttering as Impachi opened on the ground. "FINALLY! I GET TO CRACK A FEW CRYSTALS OFF YOU AND MAKE MY FORTUNE!" Impachi shouted, shooting up out of the field in a tornado of fire and black lightning. "This time...I leave no survivors!"

Drim held up his arm, revealing an ability card. "Ability Activate! Dark Puppet Show - Full Moon Marauder!" Impachi revealed the blades he kept hidden in his wrists, slicing down tree after tree, kicking each over toward Crystania as he went. "I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS!" He shouted, laughing at his performance and jumping up to stab her if the trees failed to do their job.

Chris smirked for a second, he was somewhat amused of Drim's performance, Was he really that angry just for a simple title? Come on....he cannot change from a calm aptitude to a crazy one just by hearing someone's name, it isn't like they knew each other already, well they do, but not in person...though Chris knows that isn't important now, the most important thing is....stopping Impachi from hitting his teammate!

''You are such of a....smooth-shaven one, there is no rush here, we can just stay here and talk a bit you know...'' Chris's own personality sometimes takes over his battles, he really liked to joke around with his opponents a bit, just to make things more interesting....but he really had to stop that attack first, so he draw a card from his pocket and send it into the ground Ability Activated! Harden Mud Wall! With the card's power a big rock lifted and formed a rampart just in-front of Impachi's way....making him just to crush his face with the big wall, stopping the trees as well ''We have a lot to talk about....you know that, right?''

Then, Chris remember Leah entering the arena, he've forgotten to greet her, blame his jolly personality for that ''Oh and hi Leah, glad to see you again...''

The Aquos brawler just shook her head showing her disappointment. While the challenge was rather interesting - the challenger wasn't. He was ....childish if that suited best. As Impachi charged to attack, the female readied an attack - though her team mate reacted to it first. "Thanks..." she voiced in a grateful yet slightly annoyed tone. It was sometime since she brawled and she wanted to take full advantage of crushing a Shadow Fighter.

"My turn..." she smirked at she simultaneously activated an ability after the rock wall took effect. "Emeral Twister!" she announced.Crystania began to glow a bright green as she rapidly rotated in place creating a large tornado which was soon headed towards Impachi. If the bakugan was caught up in it, the crystal warrior would then attack it multiple times hoping to drain its power.

She acknowledged Chris' greeting with a nod and slight smile. She was beginning to focus on the brawl more than usual. It was exciting yet ever so ... tense.

Drim scowled, glaring at Chris. "There is nothing to talk about, and there never was!" He shouted, glowing a dark, vibrant purple. "Descend my Mechtogan! Show them what a Shadow Fighter is truly capable of!" Clouds above the brawl began to swirl into a funnel, a dark purple lightning shooting to the ground from the center. The Mechtogan, Marrionette Titan, shot down out of the clouds to the ground. "MECHTOGAN, MARRIONETTE TITAN IS ONLINE" It said in a deep, metallic voice. With a quick swing of its open hand, it caused the twister to disappear. "ABILITY CARD EMERALD TWISTER DISMISSED" It said, preparing for combat.

Drim shot his arm into the air, creating a new ability card. "Ability Activate! Puppet Dance - Ballistic Ballad!" Impachi's chest opened, revealing a fully automated minigun. "Open fire!" He shouted, and Impachi obeyed, laughing wildly. The Mechtogan slowly turned its head, watching the entire display of the ability. "BALLISTIC BALLAD SCANNED" It said, in a darker, more ominous voice. "DUPLICATING" With that, the mechtogan created six tank turrets on each wrist, firing in turn at the opposing Bakugan.

"My Mechtogan is a one creature army you fools! You don't have a prayer!"

''So you don't want to talk at all....are you sure? It looks like you have way too much to talk about...but well, if you want to hurt us, you will ready need to get ride of our defence!'' Chris sounded way more confident that he actually was, the rampart started to fall apart for all of those shots, they really need a better defence if they want to last a bit more in this battle, of course, Chris won't let his opponent know that so easily

''Do you know that bullets can only kill other people? They don't have any other use besides that....instead, my powers can do much more!!'' Chris took another card from his pocket, and send it right into the rampart Ability Activated, Sub-Fortress! With that, an enormous fort formed between the opponents, preventing the bullets from reaching the fighters ''Now...what little trick do you have reserved for us?

Drim smiled, seeing a small crack where the mud hadn't completely hardened yet. "Easy." He said, activating an ability silently. Impachi leaped onto the crack, opening his mouth wide and letting loose a blast of smoke into it. "My Smoke Bomb Ballad!" He said smiling, hearing Vinarax and Crystania cough within the bunker. "Looks like without an airhole, you're in a spot of trouble, Fighters. With continued inhalation, you will experience hallucination, loss of balance, loss of focus, and so on...I wouldn't be shocked if it were already happening..." Drim said, smirking. Impachi laughed wildly and clapped before sitting down to admire his work near a tree.

Luckily for Chris, Nega Vinarax didn't need to breath at all, he was somewhat a golem after all. However....his partner wasn't just a bunch of rocks...it was a dragon...something have to be done...''Not so fast! Ability activated! Reflection Mirror!'' With that move, the smoke returned back to impachi without affecting Crystania. Also, by the power of the Mirror, the cracks around the defense were filled, hardening the walls even more.

''Leah, you are up now! This special mud can only by trespassed by two elements! Air and Water!'' Chris wanted to say more but he stopped, hoping that his partner had understood that; he didn't wanted his opponent to guess the weakness of such defense. Chris wasn't completely good with attacking tactics...he need his partner to work with the offense for this

Impachi just laughed when the smoke flew back toward him. "I DON'T breathe buddy!" Laughing wildly, he showed the two blades in his hands. "I bet with enough influence...FIRE can get through that!" Scraping the two together, he made a single spark, setting off a chain reaction in the smoke and making a gigantic mushroom cloud out of the battle field. The forest was now a smoldering ruin, the enemy's shield set ablaze. "It's gonna burn down little guy! And when it does, I'll be ready for you!"

Marrionette Titan and Impachi readied their weapons, aiming directly at the shield. "Just give up and come out with your hands behind your head!" Impachi said, laughing.

Leah watched the intense battle - the shadow fighter and the two partners seemed equally matched? It wasn't a moment to think now, as Chris called out her name with an instruction. The female nodded and pulled out an ability card "Silver Soul!". The Crystal Bakugan now began to glow bright blue and shot out a continuous attack of large blobs of water from her hands.

The Water quickly flushed the fire before it could touch the shield, and a few got threw hitting the darkus and hopefully throwing it off its feet. "Now Crystallized Armor go!" she spoke out almost immediately after the ability's activation and threw out a trap. The trap split and clung on to Crytannia, giving her a strong body armor. This readied her for close range combat.

Impachi twitched as he fell over from the shot of water. "OK, now I'm REALLY getting peeved! DRIM!" Drim nodded, spawning yet another ability on his wrist. "Silence is a virtue Fighters! Ability Activate! Shroud of Silence!" Everything on the battle field froze. Crystania, Vinarax, even Impachi. Oddly enough though, Drim's own Marrionette Titan turned to ashes, along with Vinarax' shield and Crystania's armor. The forest returned to its original presentation, and time resumed.

"Now since there are two of you and one of me, this only seems fair..." He said, pressing a button on his Bakuwatch. "BakuNano, String Shot Bow, DESTROY!" The dual crossbows spawned on Impachi's shoulders, shooting an arrow into the sky. The clouds began to swirl yet again, and as expected, Marrionette Titan shot down from the sky, completely repaired.

Once again, the Mechtogan slowly turned its head. "SCANNING AND DUPLICATING BAKUNANO STRING SHOT BOW" It said, and sure enough, gigantic tank turrets appeared on the Mechtogan's shoulders, with a few tank turrets on his wrists for good measure.

"OPEN FIRE!" Drim shouted yet again, and the Mechtogan did as it was told, unleashing every bit of fire power in its arsenal on its enemies. Impachi however, completely disappeared from view, appearing in the trees and shooting numerous crossbow bolts at Crystania and Vinarax. The ones that hit dug deep into their bodies, those that didn't exploded into the same smoke used in his Smoke Bomb Ballad.

''That's like a reset button?! Come on! We aren't in a videogame you know'' Chris knew it wasn't the right moment for his stupied jokes, but what can he do? It was part of him anyway...

''We need a bit of help here, come on, Gaia Deity Knight! Get into the party!'' Gaia was somewhat similar to Nega, the same cover, the same color, same attribute...though he has a small, jet big, difference.....he talks even less than Nega!..How that can be even possible...?

The Knight like Baku-Trap blocked Marrionette Titan's shots, allowing Chris to rest for a second, time enough to get out one of cards of his ''This may put things to our favour!'' He shouted, while placing the card in his place ''Ability activated! Subterra Guardian!!'' Both Nega Vinarax and Crytannia got auras around their bodies, driving out those small bolts of them, they didn't have time to ask what those things can do, as long as they weren't in their bodies...

''And don't even think this is all!'' A small sphere came out of Chris pocket, shinning with brown energy ''Bakugan brawl! Subterra Clayf Stand!'' The new bakugan used his shield to block String Shot Bow's attacks, preventing any further damage to the Fighters.....and no, this one does talk a bit....but it's not like the situation demands it anyway....

Impachi screamed at the top of his lungs, enraged that the two were even still able to compete with him. "No outside help!" Drim yelled, grabbing his own Bakugan. "It was two against one anyway! Bakugan Brawl!"

The Bakugan stood on the gate card, arising into a particularly ugly dragon. Its flesh rotting away and its wings thin as paper. Bones jutted out from the spine, and its eyes showing as red as blood. "Arise, Darkus Destanoid!" Drim shouted, activating two ability cards. "Consecutive Ability Activate! Destined Sanctuary + Sacrifice of the Sanctuary!" A huge cage of purple lightning appeared around Vinarax, the Knight, and Crystania, crushing them together and surging them with electricity. And although the two brawlers were unaware for the moment, there was now a link between them and their bakugan. Each would feel those shocks their bakugan felt, at just the same amount of power. With any luck, that would leave them too weak to battle.

"Ability Activate!" Impachi yelled on his own, as an ability was unwillingly spawned on Drim's Bakuwatch. "Puppet Finale - Cutthroat Catastrophe!" He shouted, jumping forward and slashing wildly into the cage at his enemies. "Oh wow! I feel like some kinda lion tamer!" He yelled, laughing happily and slashing away. Soon there would be nothing left, neither of the brawlers nor the Bakugan.
