Rez calmed down then looked at Houston. "Thanks Houston." Rez's dark energy sword disappeared then he collapsed.

[The King]

Kyle was then knocked unconscious by the barrier's extra defensive mechanism: electricity. Kyle, while he was powerful, couldn't handle all the electricity flowing through him, and was nearly killed, before Houston grabbed him and pulled him out. Grabbing his arm, Houston poured some of his aura into him, saving his life. Houston couldn't stand to see another person die because of him.


Houston: Sol! You are gonna have to fight these guys by yourself for a bit!


Sol: Got it.


Sol floated away from Houston, closed, then opened again, emerging into his monster form. He roared, and took a battle stance.


Sol: Asteroid Launch!


Sol glowed red, and asteroids flew down, pelting most of the mechanical bakugan, and destroying the ship, however, more mechanical bakugan kept coming.


Sol: Phoenexius! I am probably gonna need a bit of help with this!

[Kaito Akimoto]

Phoenexius floated over next to Sol and opened into his monstrous form. "Hey Sol! Let's try a combination attack!"

[The King]

Sol: Go for it, Phoenexius!


Houston finished tending to the still unconscious Kyle, and turned to face down the army of mechanical beasts.


Houston: Sol, Phoenexius, time to light this party! Special Ability activate! Universal Nova Destruction!


Sol and Phoenexius both flew high into the air, and launched fireballs coated in dark energy at the approaching army of mechanical Bakugan. The balls all hit directly, and each exploded in mini mushroom clouds, however, the multiple explosions joined together to make a much bigger explosion, destroying most of the residential area, luckily, the people were evacuated. Houston's and Rez's auras flared as they slashed through the falling debris.


Houston: Make sure Gragion can't get to Perseus and Medusanoid at all costs, Sol and Phoenexius. Guard this place from the bakugan. We have the foot soldiers!

[Ryek Marachion]

" I'm game for a combo attack. Ryek let's go!" Baracudas said

" bakugan brawl!" ryek said as he threw baracudas.

The fish bakugan rose up." fish time."

[Kaito Akimoto]

Rez stood up weakly. "Wow...I realize that that would've made me weak....but not THIS weak!" Rez had to lean on Houston so he could actually stand, otherwise he would've just fallen down again.

[Ryek Marachion]

" ability activate! Vorpal blazer." ryek called out. Baracudas opened his mouth launching a blast of energy at the foot soldiers.

[Kyle Knight]

Kyle woke up and looked at Huston. He got on his feet and watch as the mechanical bakugans were being destroyed. With the push a another button, two even larger ships came down realeseing a bunch of mechtogons.

Kyle: Why did you save me Huston? You could have let me there to die.

[Gragion Reaper]

Gragion Reaper contacts kyle.



"Kyle!!! Summon your mechtogods to deal with houston while you use your bakugan to break through that shield!!!"

[The King]

Houston jumped away from the conscious Kyle, and pulled out an ability.


Houston: The reason I saved you is... I don't want to see another person die because of me...


A couple tears welled up in Houston's eyes. Houston began to yell.


Houston: Even if it is my enemy! Sol! Finish off these stupid robots! Ability Activate! Solar Flare Strike!


Sol flew into the air, and fired a few fireballs off. The fireballs became flaming wings of solar energy that trapped the ships and the mechanical bakugan. The flares then exploded, destroying all of the ships and machines, the resulting cosmic energy opened up a portal under Kyle, which transported him back to Gragion Reaper's palace.

Gragion Reaper is furious.




"Curse you houston keene!!!! I swear he shall die!!!!!!"

[Ryek Marachion]

" woooo.... Go sol!" ryek shouted in victory. " Huston, what was with the crying? It's unusual." really he had never seen the young king cry at all. Let alone for a enemy.

[Kyle Knight]

Kyle: im sorry master gragion.

Kyle turned around and left the palace. kyle left the palace with the thought of hustons words in his mind. he returned to his lab were he wrote a letter and gave it to a drone. the drone left the lab. graganoid and drathnoid appeared infront of him.

Drathnoid: What the plan now?

Graganoid: i say we crush them.

Kyle: dont worry about.

the drone found huston and drop the paper infront of him. this is what the paper said. "meet me at the at a secret collusem in rome for a one and one battle. i win, you give me the gate and key. you win and ill leave master gragion. i have the cordinates listed." kyle left the lab and went to the collesum and waited on a bench inside.

[Gragion Reaper]

Gragion Reaper sits on a sea at the colosseum to watch.


"Kyle!! be sure to destroy houston with your mechtogods.."

A mysterious drone robot appeared in front of Houston, and handed him a note. Houston's face was red, and his cheeks were wet. Houston didn't cry often, and certainly wouldn't usually for an enemy, but... something changed. He had seen people die before, when he was a prince. His father had taken him to the execution of a notorious criminal, and when it came time for the ax to drop, he hadn't shed a tear. Probably seeing all those innocent people die had gotten to him finally, and he was determined to not let another soul perish because of him.


Sol: Houston, it says that if we lose, we must forfeit the Gate and Key, but if we win, he will come with us. What should we do?


Houston: It's obvious... We must help him. We will accept the challenge.


Sol became flustered.


Sol: But the Universe Gate and Universe Key are irreplaceable! If we lose them, the Universe is done for!


Houston: Sol, didn't you tell me that the Universe Gate and Universe Key were fused to our souls?


Sol: Yes I did, but...


Houston: And the only way for him to take the Universe Gate and Key is to take our souls, correct?


Sol: Yes, but...


Houston: Then what's the problem?


Sol: The problem is, Houston, that if we lose, he will probably kill us to try and take it, and if we die, the Universe Gate and Key go with us! Without them, the universe would be doomed! DOOMED! The Universe Gate and Key don't just harness the power of the universe, they also keep the balance of good and evil in tact. If we die, then the scales will tip!


Houston: What if they take our souls?


Sol: Same thing would happen.


Houston had a eureka moment. Sol never said which way the scale of good and evil would tip.


Houston: Sol, you never said which way the scale would tip! Could it tip towards goodness?


Sol: Yes it could, but Gragion Reaper would have to be either vanquished, or have an extreme change of heart.


Houston: What about the combined goodness of the people around us?


Sol: If it outweighs the bad, then yes. It could.


Houston: So what have we got to lose? If we die, then there is a 50/50 chance that it will go to goodness.


Sol: We could lose EVERYTHING! Remember, you are currently the last of your family's line! You have no heir! Gimnasio would fall to extremists in a matter of days, and with the amount of bakugan and Support Weapons on the island, the world could fall into darkness!


Houston: Sol, I need you to trust me on this. We have to get Kyle away from Gragion Reaper.


Sol: ... Fine. But if we die, and the world descends into darkness, I blame YOU.


Sol opened up a portal to the Colosseum, where Houston found Kyle waiting.


Houston: Kyle, we accept the challenge. But there is one thing you should know: you are gonna have a real tough time getting the Universe Gate and Key from us! Gate card set! Bakugan brawl! Sol stand!


Sol emerged from ball form, roaring.


Sol: You wont believe what else I'm capable of!
