Dragon Defenders HQ: Crash vs Calvin!

[Crash Terron]

After being defeated by Bruce, Khragonix was upgraded with Olympian DNA by Kenta. The procedure was a very short one, and Khragonix was ready to test out his new powers, but against who? Crash raised his hand, so Calvin and Crash were about to face off against one another in the Dragon Defender's HQ state of the art arena. Calvin thinks that Crash's bakugan is a regular bakugan, but, little did Calvin know, Crash's Quakeerion has a little surprise for him. Who will win this battle of epic proportions?

Crash entered the battle arena, smiling. He finally got to brawl Calvin, the savior of the World Championship! Crash was happy, not just for that, but for the fact that he and Claire were accepted onto the newest super team on the circuit. He couldn't wait to start battling. Opening the hatch on the back of his Scanner, he pulled out a gate card, and threw it.


Crash: Gate card, set!


Crash pulled out Quakeerion, and threw him into battle.


Crash: Bakugan brawl! Stand, Subterra Quakeerion!


Quakeerion came out of ball form, roaring. The roar shattered the marble floor of the lobby.


Crash and Quakeerion: Sorry for smashing the marble...

[Calvin Kuro]

"Alright with Kenta's help, this is our friendly training so let's give 'em our best Khragonex!" Calvin said to Khragonex, holding Khragonex as he was in ball form. "I'm with you partner!" Khragonex said, opening his ball form. "Bakugan Brawl!!!" Calvin flicked Khragonex ball and threw him. "Darkus Khragonex! STAND!!!" Khragonex roared loudly as he rose.

[Crash Terron]

Crash: Finally, I get to face the great Calvin Kuro!


Crash swiped an ability card.


Crash: Ability activate! Grand Earthquake!


Quakeerion jumped up, then slammed to the ground, creating an earth shattering earthquake. The earthquake shook the entire building, and caused the lighting in the upper floors to go out. Khragonix was knocked over by the earthquake, and fell face first into a bed of sharp rocks. Debris and more rocks flew up, and fell down on Khragonix, cutting him, and bruising him horribly.


Crash: Good opening, Quake! Keep it up!

[Calvin Kuro]

"Argghh!!! Ability Activate!!! Shadow Illusion!" With Khragonex getting hit by the rocks, his body exploded, and was disappeared. A bunch of Khragonex clones flew behind Quakeerion, landing a punch and a kick on him.

[Crash Terron]

Quakeerion was being hit by all the clones of Khragonix, but they weren't using full power. Maybe Calvin thought Quakeerion was an EARTH bakugan. Time to prove him wrong. Quakeerion became coated in the Olympian shield.


Crash swiped an ability card through his Scanner.


Crash: So Calvin, you surprised? Quakeerion here isn't an Earth bakugan. No... He's OLYMPIAN! Your petty normal attacks won't work against his shield! Ability activate! Hammer Time!


Quakeerion's tail became solid rock, almost. He began swinging it around, hitting all the clones, destroying them and hitting Khragonix hard, sending him flying. Quakeerion ran towards Khragonix, the tail doing nothing to his speed. He jumped, did a flip, and brought the tail down hard on Khragonix's head. A sickening thud was heard. Quakeerion jumped back.


Crash: Enough of these petty games! Come at me with full power, or I will finish you off right now!

[Calvin Kuro]

"WHAT?! No way!!!" Calvin shouted. Khragonex fell flat on his stomach. "You gotta get up! No time to waste! Here goes Ability Activate!!! Fusion Wave!" Khragonex's body and wings charged up with a red electricity, the electricity is probably the power of Olympia DNA, which it could get Khragonex feeling some pain. "ARRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!! I can do this!!!!! To defeat Draykus!!!" Khragonex shouted, feeling the pain with a red electricity on his body. He then shot a huge energy wave at Quakeerion.

KABOOOOM!!!!!!

Quakeerion fell down, even if he had the special shield, he was still hit very hard by Khragonex's upgraded Fusion Wave ability. "That's it! Don't lose your power Khragonex!"

[Crash Terron]

Quakeerion got up slowly, reeling from that hit. He straightened up, almost like the hit didn't affect him at all.


Quakeerion: Good shot.


Crash: Finally, some action!


A screen appeared on Crash's Scanner, showing a key going into Quakeerion's back.


Crash: Battle Key, IGNITION!


After the Battle Key had been activated, Quakeerion spouted wings, and the top layer of his skin turned into Quantonium, with spikes protruding from it.


Crash: If you're wondering, Calvin, the material that Quakeerion's skin has become is Quantonium, the lightest, strongest, most durable metal in the universe. It is so rare that it sells for more than a small planet.


Quakeerion: But we don't sell ours.


Crash: He's right. We don't. Special ability activate! Ultimate Crash Laser!


Parts of Quakeerion's metal armor skin came off, forming a highly reflective tunnel. Quakeerion charged up a powerful laser in his mouth, aimed it down the tunnel, and fired. The reflecting of the laser in the tunnel made it more powerful as it went for Khragonix, but at the last second, part of the laser split into fifty seperate laser beams, striking Khragonix at every vital point on his body, while the remainder of the laser was released from the tunnel, striking Khragonix hard in the chest.


Crash: Come on, Calvin! I'm just a brawler! You should have no trouble defeating me! BRING IT ON!!

[Calvin Kuro]

"Got it!!! Ability Activate! Maximum Superior!!!" A special power came from Khragonex's chest, covering him from being hit by laser beams as the power shield surrounded him. "Now take this man! Ability Activate!!! Dragon OVERSTRIKE!!!" Just as Calvin activated another ability, Khragonex roared loudly, opening his mouth, he aimed a huge fire blast at Quakeerion as he was flying back. His power was increase two times stronger than his previous power.

[Crash Terron]

Crash swiped an ability.


Crash: Not this time! Fusion Ability activate! Ultimate Ability - Destructive Down Force!


The gravity in the arena intensified twenty fold. Khragonix's weight was too much for him, and he fell flat on his stomach. Quakeerion, unaffected by the gravity, landed and went over to him. He stood on top of Khragonix, jumped, and let the gravity take over. He kept jumping, up and down, the gravity making each blow harder. After he jumped on Khragonix for a bit, he flew up, then cannonballed into the ground, shooting Khragonix up. Debris and rocks shot up and pelted Khragonix.


Crash: Consecutive ability activate! Crash Laser!


Quakeerion aimed a powerful laser at Khragonix.

[Calvin Kuro]

"We've got this! Time to call our key!" Calvin shouted, pressing buttons on his BakuScanner. He generated his new Battle Key from his BakuScanner, grabbing his Battle Key, he threw it towards Khragonex and shouted, "Battle Key UNLOCK!" Calvin's BakuScanner screen appeared, showing a Battle Key attaching into Khragonex's back. "Go Cross Shootex Khragonex!"

Khragonex flew back, spinning like a star that was flying. His cross wings spun like a wheel (Similar to Vilantor Gear Nirvana) to release laser beams in all directions, blasting the battle field and Quakeerion.

[Zack Hooklind]

Zack was impressed by Calvin's move, he was so surprised that he almost fell down from his stall

"That guy...is just...awesome!! Do your best Calvin, I know you have more power!" ''You don't normally cheer up people, why do you do that with him?'' ''Well he....look the battling is resuming'' ''Hmpf....''

[Claire Nekomi]

"Whoo-hooo! Intense! His Battle Key can do some damage!" Claire cheered, watching the battle. "Don't celebrate yet! Calvin needs to pass his test." Tigronclaw said, as in ball form.

[Crash Terron]

Crash smiled. He was enjoying himself, finally. The introduction of Cross Shootex had been a great one, and Crash was ready to counter. He swiped two abilities through his Scanner.


Crash: Double Ability activate! Rolling Earthquakes plus Earthen Judgement!


Crash said the name Earthen Judgement with some strain, meaning that this could possibly be the final move. Quakeerion called a destructive earthquake to the battlefield, breaking most of the ground into shards, and propelling them upward. The shards hit Khragonix, but were more aimed at Cross Shootex. The Battle Key was quickly removed from Khragonix.


Crash: Rolling Earthquakes is a... unique ability. It creates multiple earthquakes that keep coming, but also gets rid of your Support Weapons from the match!


The earthquakes kept coming, shooting debris and sharp rocks into Khragonix. Then, fog rolled in, creating a cloud bank. The clouds parted, and the Angel of the Earth appeared. It stuck its delicate hand out, and gave a thumbs down, showing that this would be a great and powerful attack. The Angel lent its power to Quakeerion, who flew into the air. Quakeerion opened its mouth and fired a large, powerful laser at Khragonix. Khragonix fell to the ground, with a thud. Dust filled the air, and a roar was heard. Khragonix burst through the dust cloud, charging at Quakeerion. Khragonix attacked Quakeerion, firing multiple attacks at once, the Olympian DNA making him very violent. Quakeerion dodged all the attacks until the episode was over, then both of them collapsed from exhaustion. Both bakugan returned to ball form. The automated announcer was heard around the battlefield.


Announcer: Battle Over! The match is a DRAW!


Crash went over and picked up Quakeerion.


Crash: You used too much energy. We have to conserve next time.


Quakeerion: Still a good battle, though.


Crash's face lit up in a smile.


Crash: Yup!


Crash walked over to Calvin, and offered an outstretched hand.


Crash: Good game, partner! Next time, we won't tire out!


Quakeerion: You can count on it!


Crash's face then turned serious.


Crash: The Olympian DNA infused in Khragonix made him violent, though. He needs another round to get more experience with it. I would battle, but Quake here is too tired.


Quakeerion: I do need the rest. The Angel of the Earth is very intense when it comes to energy repayment. We try not to use that ability often. Nonetheless, it was a good game.

[Calvin Kuro]

Calvin smiled, shaking hands with Crash. "Yeah good game! If the DNA was fine, the brawl wouldn't have caused destruction." Calvin said, and picked up Khragonex. "Are you okay Khragonex?" Calvin said. Khragonex opened his ball form and said, "I'm okay! And I'm ready for another round right now!" "Are you sure? What would happen if you over control your energy without taking a rest?" Asked Calvin. "Don't worry..... I'll be fine, like Crash said, I need more experience!" Khragonex said, getting ready to fight. "Okay! Who wants to fight next?!" Calvin shouted, turning to Claire, Kenta and Zack.

Zack noticed Calvin's glare and raised his hand.

"I guess I am in...let's try our best, we need to see our limits too..." ''I think the same''
