Deep Forest (Near WC): Bruce vs Calvin!

Bruce didn't show it, but he was shocked that Calvin actually struck the right position. Now it will be easier for him to evade or block the attack. It's the first time someone other than Sayomi has exploited this ability; however, it doesn't mean it can't do any damage. After all, it is a shadow. Shadows have limitless potential in hiding themselves. One way to do so is to go into the ground, which is kinda like viewing your own shadow. Bruce thought in his mind as he was attempting to perform this drastic action,

"Well, time to go to plan B."

The entities have all went into the ground to attempt another attack on Khragonex. This is the second time Bruce has actually practiced this, so it might not turn out the way he plans, but it's always good to atleast try. So as it happened, they moved around while perpendicular from each other just so they wouldn't all be in one place if Khragonex had managed to stop them. One by one, they each attempted to attack Khragonex. Bruce said in his mind,

"I at least hope this works; otherwise, this could get ugly."

[Calvin Kuro]

"Looks like this is the time! Battle Key UNLOCK! Cross Shootex!!!" After Calvin shouted, Khragonex's wings turned into Cross Shootex wings! Spinning his wings like a fan, he fired all lasers everywhere, even more powerful lasers than before, destroying Draykus' clones.

While Calvin and Bruce were having an intense battle, Claire, Zack, Kenta, and Crash were cheering for Calvin.

Claire: Go Calvin! You can do it!
Zack: I hope this may end adequately...
Kenta: Bruce! You've got to stop this and join us!!! You're taking on the wrong side!
Crash: This is getting nuts!

"Enough of this. Battle key override!"

Maxus Turbine appeared on Draykus's back. As a response to the attack, he fired at those blasts continuously with his Maxus Turbine to make the blasts have a collision. While that happened, there was also his gate card to stop this spectacle.

"Gate card open! Reinforce Honor!"

The gate card's effect has enabled him to do what he pleased, and that was steal all of Khragonex's power so his abilities and battle key would mean nothing. At the same time, Draykus was growing even stronger by taking his power, not to mention that his battle key was greatly affected by the gate card, allowing him to fire multiple shots in just a second.

[Calvin Kuro]

Khragonex flew up high in the air, with his wing spinning. With Khragonex gaining more altitude, his speed and power of the Battle Key were increasing as he was able to dodge the multiple shots by Draykus, but could get damaged by few of them. "WHOAH! Where did they get this energy from?" Khragonex questioned, flying around in the air. He then fired laser bolts faster to the ground, destroying the gate card. Draykus was damaged by Khragonex's raining lasers and couldn't move anymore due to him getting hit continuously. "Face it dude! It's time for us to open an eye for you that working for Sayomi would only get the WORST NIGHTMARE!" Calvin shouted, clenching his fist. "She is only using you for doing what she wanted to get! It's time that you realize what's worst coming from her!" Khragonex said, while Calvin was getting ready to activate the next powerful ability. "We're gonna stop you and take you down here once and for all! Consecutive Ability Activate! Fire Take-Down PLUS Supreme Blazer PLUS Dragon OverStrike!!!!" Khragonex's body was surrounded by red purple flame as he was heading down to the ground towards Draykus! With the consecutive ability being activated, his powers were able to increase by two times stronger and were able to push the limits. Even he could shatter any shield. "TAKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Khragonex shouted, tackling Draykus very hard. Draykus was then returned into ball form after he was damaged by the maximum powers of Khragonex.

"Guess i've been bested by a human. You have improved after all with the help of some of my allies, or at least were."

Bruce picked up Draykus. He wasn't disappointed that he lost, but glad actually. Because of Calvin, they both have found out that brawling was not just a walk in the park. You have to take these battles seriously instead of expecting an easy brawl. Now they both would take brawls seriously wether it's easy or difficult. But one thing made him confused. Why would Kenta say he was on the wrong side fighting for his people? Defending your home shouldn't be the wrong side, but Kenta and Zack just went on and left without notice or reason. Perhaps there could be some type of agreement here, so he said while facing Zack and Kenta,

"Even though I lost, i'm not going to leave without some answers. You gave a human's bakugan DNA from our home planet, which is a very major offense. Even though you know the punishment is death, why do it? Is there something I don't know here about fighting for MY PEOPLE, or maybe you just wanted to revolt against our queen? Please answer, because i've had enough with you opposing me when I am trying to save you two from meeting your ends on the Olympian guillotine."

[Zack Hooklind]

Zack noticed, Bruce has changed a bit the last few days. He never cared about him, Kenta or even their squad before, but now it was different...why did he change that much? Maybe it's a trick to make us talk -he thought-...or he may have been pretending the whole time...who knows. Oh right...Bruce needed a reply as well as Zack needed to answer his questions

''My People...that's a complete subjective term, you know...'' Suddenly, his eyes started to shine with determination ''It depends of which you can consider your home, cousin; native land doesn't necessary have to have a relationship with your home. Your native land is where you were born, nothing more and nothing less; but a home is different...is the place where you know you truly belong! My blood may come from Olympia, but my heart is here, with the Earthlings! They are my family now, and I have to protect them!'' His new gained determination showed to be powerful enough to convince an ant that fighting a mantis is not impossible. ''I don't know if you can understand this...'' He said, a bit more calmed ''...but I never saw Olympia like my home, neither my family...Earth have showed to be a perfect place to live...for Earthlings and Olympians as well!''

His bakugan jumped from his pocket to his shoulder, he was surprised for seeing his partner like that; and then, he looked back at Draykus, hoping not to get blasted because of the scene.

Crash lowered his head. Memories of a bloody night where he lost his parents to an Olympian scum were resurfacing. He could hear the screams in his head. He couldn't tune them out, until Quakeerion spoke.


Quakeerion: What is wrong?


Crash: I don't trust this guy...


Quakeerion: I know you have trust issues with Olympians, but you have to give him a chance.


Crash: You're right, but I still don't trust him. One false move, and BAM! He's out. Gone. Kaput. No more.


Quakeerion: You're over-dramatic.


Crash put on a sarcastic smile.


Crash: And you're about to be thrown into the woods if you don't shut up!

Bruce didn't want to believe a word he said. Of course, he does care for all Olympians, but this may have been too shocking to actually hear. Someone bonding with another race isn't something that should be done carelessly.

"Hmph, fine. If that's how you feel about this human, then so be it. I'll admit, I did not fight as hard as I could have in this brawl just to test out your new power according to some sneaky assassins around here. Just bear in mind. We are not enemies nor allies. I'll help when I can, but don't expect me to actually join you guys."

Bruce then transported back to Olympia.
