Olympian Forest - Crash VS Christy

[Crash Terron]

As the other Dragon Defenders slept, Crash was wide awake. It had been a couple days since his encounter with the Vancent twins, and he still couldn't get Christy out of his mind. As the night went on, Crash kept getting more restless, finally, around midnight, he got up, grabbed his guitar, and went for a walk in the woods. Leaving a homing beacon in his tent so that he could find his way back, he would probably be gone for a few hours, but he knew nobody would notice. As he kept walking, he came to an open field where none other than Christy Vancent was sitting with a ball form Kallua in her lap, almost waiting for him, a determined look on her face. She was ready to brawl him again. Can Crash pull of another win, or will he face defeat at the girl that he has mixed feelings for?

Crash pulled out Quakeerion from his pocket, and folded his arms together in front of him, his feet spread a bit apart, his guitar propped under his hand. When he spoke, his longish brown hair bounced up and down with his words, and his Texan accent was pronounced.


Crash: Christy Vancent. What an unexpected surprise. By that look in your eye, I can see that you want to brawl. I'd be happy to oblige.


Crash grabbed a gate card from the compartment in his Scanner, and threw it on the ground.


Crash: Gate card, set!


Crash tossed Quakeerion into the air, caught him, and did a Dan Kuso type throw, pitching Quakeerion into the battle.


Crash: Bakugan brawl! Subterra Quakeerion stand!


Quakeerion rose from his ball form roaring and thrashing, he swung his tail and hit the ground, leaving a large crater, not unlike the one under him. Quakeerion gave a good stare at Christy with his electric blue eyes.


Crash: So, why are ya meeting me out here in the middle of the forest? Other than the obvious reasons.

Christy looked up, from Kallua, whom she'd been speaking with beforehand. "Nothing really..." She said, picking up Kallua. "I know the only reason you won before was that you had that Olympian traitor come to your rescue." Then she stopped and smiled. "I guess it's kind of ironic that me, a traitor, was defeated by another traitor...takes one to beat one, right?" With a little laugh she tossed Kallua into the air.

"Well, you've talked a bit with Beauty, now lets all welcome the beast." Kallua rose to the battle field, roaring and thrashing. Once at his full height, he let out a thrash of his tail, leveling multiple trees in the proccess. "Entertain me!" He roared, glaring at the Sub-Terra bakugan.

[Crash Terron]

Quakeerion smirked, or gave as much as a smirk as he could give.


Quakeerion: With pleasure. Crash, you ready for this?


Crash: Oh yeah!


Crash swiped two abilities through his scanner.


Crash: Double ability activate! Crash Laser plus Hammer Time!


Quakeerion powered up a laser in his mouth, then released it, hitting Kallua in the chest, throwing him back. Then, Quakeerion's tail became coated in Quantonium. Quakeerion then started smashing the ground with his tail. The tremors made the ground beneath Kallua crack and shard, stabbing Kallua in multiple pressure points, creating great pain. The tremors also effected Crash's BakuPack, causing a bakugan to fall out of his BakuPack. The bakugan opened up on the battle field and stood. After the bakugan stood, Quakeerion took the opening caused by the surprise, and started taking swings at Kallua's head with his tail, each hit making a sickening thud.


Crash: Great thing about this ability, it brings in a second bakugan, so come on out, Fission Quakeerion!


Fission Quakeerion, a type of Quakeerion with a couple less spikes on its head, making it a bit distinguishable from the other, opened it's eyes, revealing blood red eyes, but still indistinguishable enough to confuse Kallua. It roared loudly, and stepped forward, revealing the crater it created. It's tail became coated in Quantonium, too, and then lunged at Kallua, hitting Kallua in the head just like the actual Quakeerion.


Crash: Can you handle this, pretty girl?

Christy smiled. "Oh you have GOT to be kidding me. Ability Activate! Aquos Armada!" Kallua split into 6 seperate beings, the clones each ripped the Quakeerions off of the original, before surrounding the two bakugan. "Now, Tsunami Stryker!" He shouted, blasting them with hundreds of gallons of water pressure.

Crash: You never learn, do you?


A screen on Crash's Scanner popped up, showing a Battle Key going into the original Quakeerion's back, and then into Fission Quakeerion's back. In the battle, Quakeerion and Fission Quakeerion each became coated in Quantonium armor-skin, and spouted wings. Certain parts of the armor-skins propped up and became spikes. The Quakeerions flew up into the air.


Crash: Remember our last brawl? Well, history repeats itself. Special Ability activate! Ultimate Crash Laser!


Parts of the Quakeerions' armor-skin came off, and formed a reflective tunnel, with the pieces that came off being replaced by new Quantonium. The two tunnels were aimed at two seperate targets. Fission Quakeerion fired off its laser into the center of the maelstrom, creating an explosion. All the Kalluas were blown back, three of them slamming into trees, being stabbed by the trees' branches, making them disappear, while the water was drained down through the resulting hole in the Olympian soil. The actual Quakeerion then fired his laser, hitting the other three Kallua, destroying the final two clones, leaving the real one exposed.


Crash: You really thought a trick like that would work on ME?

Kallua roared with laughter. "Oh, I have to admit, I should have seen that coming." Then his expression darkened and his eyes began to glow a dark red, very different from their usual vibrant blue. "Christy, lets show him what happens when you leave your camp by yourself..."

Christy pulled out the scanner, pressing a couple buttons at a time. "Ability Activate..." She said, and Kallua exhaled slowly. "Mask of the Mist." A dark blue mist enveloped each bakugan, as well as the brawlers, and a series of glows were seen inside. Once the mist cleared, Quakeerion was dropping to the ground, his usual self. Kallua however, had a clone of himself once again, and was covered in Quakeerion's armor.

"You seem...awfully weak..." Christy said, tilting her head to the side. "Let me ask you something...why do you fight? What possible motivation could you have?"

[Crash Terron]

Crash: I fight for my friends! I fight to protect earth! Ability activate! Rock Coffin!


Quakeerion and Fission Quakeerion glowed, then the soil under the two Kalluas shot up in slabs, Quantonium slabs. The slabs surrounded the two Kalluas, and came together, leaving no openings, and forming coffins. The walls of the coffins started closing in, crushing the two Kalluas bones as it did.


Crash: I fight for... for...


Crash had named two things he fought for, however he was very hesitant. But, after saying that, he wasn't quite sure what he was fighting for.

Christy sighed. "Ability Activate! Mist of Misery!" Kallua's voice rang out from between the slabs as mist enveloped the battle field. "Feeling all high and mighty, eh?" The mist cleared, and the Kalluas were behind Quakeerion and his other bakugan. "Just gimme a minute..." He said, hitting him in the head with his tail and kicking him into the ground. "Tsunami Stryker!" He roared, blasting the water into his face, driving him down into the earth and reverting him to ball form.

A voice then rang out from Crash's Scanner as his two bakugan returned to him. "Crash Terron Life Guage, 5%."

Christy sighed. "An Olympian Bakugan gains its power from its partners confidence, not only in themselves, but what they believe to be right..." Looking up she smiled. "If you want to stand a chance against Sayomi, you need to figure out which one you're missing."

[Crash Terron]

Crash picked up Quakeerion and Fission Quakeerion. That hit had brought him into the danger zone. Crash was becoming demoralized and very angry. He knew what he was fighting for, but he didn't want to say. He was never really good with talking to girls. The third in command of the Dragon Defenders should be stronger than this, shouldn't he? Braver than this? He was having a hard time getting his thoughts together.


Quakeerion: Crash.


Crash snapped out of the trance he was in, however, his eyes were cloudy with doubt, and his voice sullen.


Crash: Yeah?...


Quakeerion: Stop that.


Crash: Stop what?


Quakeerion: That act. The sad sack thing you're pulling right now. I know you better than that. You're the talented musician, brawler, and friend that I have come to know. This isn't you.


Crash: Quake, you don't understand what's going through my head right now...


Quakeerion: Yes I do, Crash. I know what is exactly going through your head. You have no idea what to fight for. You think you want to fight for your friends and for Earth, but you know you have something else in mind.


Crash: What do you suppose I do?


Quakeerion: First, sit down.


Crash did as he was instructed.


Quakeerion: Now, grab your guitar, and strike up a tune.


Crash: What is this gonna...


Quakeerion: Just do it.


Crash struck up a quiet song on his guitar, gradually getting louder and louder, the emotions and thoughts in his mind travelling down the strings, and coming out as notes and rhythms. The sounds filled the air, sorrowful and doubtful, yet upbeat and lifting. The song kept getting more upbeat and uplifting, pushing away the negative emotions. The song finished up, and Crash stood up, leaving his guitar on the forest floor. He grabbed Quakeerion.


Quakeerion: Now, who do you fight for?


Crash: I still don't know...


Quakeerion: Sigh... You will realize it eventually, but for now, brawl like there is no stopping you!


Crash threw Quakeerion into the battle, his confidence somewhat restored.


Crash: Go for it, Quake! Bakugan brawl!


Quakeerion opened up on the ground, craters forming again. This thing was becoming more of a signature now, and Quakeerion loved it. He let out a roar as he stared down Christy and Kallua.


Quakeerion: Let's go, Kallua! I'll make mincemeat out of you!

[Christy Vancent]

Kallua glared at his opponent. He hadn't even bothered to return to his ball form. "While you make petty threats, I'm just going to try and enjoy myself." Christy on the other hand, just sighed and looked at the ground. "It's no use Quakeerion. No matter how hard you try, and I know you're gonna try until you can't do anything anymore, you can't beat Kallua. Not until Crash resolves any and all inner conflicts."

Pressing a button on her scanner, she looked up at Kallua. "Alright, Ability Activate! Rain of Endless Sorrow!" Kallua shot a beam of energy into the air, and bits of energy began to rain down on Quakeerion, burning his skin on contact.

[Crash Terron]

Crash: Simple fix.


Crash's Scanner showed Terracodor going into Quakeerion's back. Quakeerion became coated in his armor-skin, with his spikes emerging from different parts of it. The energy hit the Quantonium, and just hissed and fizzled, like a drop of water in a super hot frying pan. When the steam cleared, there were no marks.


Crash: Really? A rain like ability? You're gonna have to do better than that. Ability activate! Mystical Music!


Quakeerion began hitting different spikes on his armor, creating different sounds. The symphony of pitches created discord in Kallua's brain, causing him to hit himself repeatedly, while the high notes usually used in Resonance rang out, causing even more pain in Kallua's head. The combination of the splitting headache, and the fact that Kallua was hitting himself, brought the dragon bakugan to his knees.


Crash: Keep it up, Quake! We got this!

Christy rolled her eyes. "We've been over this Crash. Battle Key Unlock!" Kallua became encased in his own Quantonium armor, covering his ears and defending him from the deafening sounds. "You are REALLY starting to get on my nerves!" He roared, and the ground began to shake from the gathering of his power. "Tsunami Torrent!" He roared, as cracks formed in the earth. Water began to flow out of it freely, creating a gigantic tidal wave behind Kallua. It crashed forward, wiping out everything in its path and enveloping both Crash and Quakeerion.

Christy turned her back, trying to shrug it off...but for some reason she couldn't. "Kallua, help the brawler." She said, and Kallua stared at her in disbelief. "Help HIM? Why shouldn't I let him drown?" Christy shook her head. "Just do it."

Despite every muscle in his body screaming for him not to, Kallua dove into the water and surfaced with Crash, letting him off on a tree branch. "Are you OK?" She asked, looking at him from her spot on the branch next to him. "We didn't mean for you to get caught in that..."

Kallua grunted, draining the water from around the tree, absorbing it into energy. "Well...she didn't."

A brown light appeared under them and Quakeerion returned to Crash, another voice echoing from his scanner. "Crash Terron Life Guage: 1%"

[Crash Terron]

Crash coughed up some water, and wiped his mouth.


Crash: Why thank ya, Christy.


Crash stood up on the branch and grabbed Quakeerion, then looked at his Scanner. Life Gauge 1%. This was it. This was the last round before he would lose. What Christy said was right. Olympian bakugan do gain power from the emotions of their brawlers, and his mixed feelings had become clear. He had to act if he was going to win this one. Crash grabbed Quakeerion, and threw him into battle.


Crash: Quakeerion. I finally have enough courage to say this. I don't fight for you, for the Dragon Defenders, or for Earth.


Crash looked at Christy.


Crash: I fight for you, Christy, and losing to you, well, it ain't an option at this point in time.


Quakeerion emerged from his ball form, in full Quantonium armor-skin.


Quakeerion: I took the liberty of activating it myself.


Crash swiped an ability through his Scanner.


Crash: I fight for you, Christy, but I also have a duty to protect my home, and that's what I am going to do, even if I have only a slim chance to win! Ability activate! Team Ability - Speed Sword!


Quakeerion created a sword out of Quantonium from his armor-skin, then split into clones. Each of the clones, along with the original Quakeerion, had gained super speed akin to Khragonix's speed. Quakeerion and the clones rushed Kallua, slashing through his Quantonium armor, hitting him with everything they had.


Crash swiped another ability through his Scanner.


Crash: Hey Christy, if you liked that last number, here's one of our greatest hits: Fusion Ability, Earth Magic - Power Sap!


Tentacles of magic energy shot out of Quakeerion and his clones, and wrapped around Kallua, draining his remaining energy as the Quakeerion battalion continued to slash away at the immobilized Kallua.


Crash: I will not lose!

Kallua roared as he was slashed and chained, kneeling and glowing a deep tan color. "Christy...help...me..." Christy on the other hand was sitting on her branch, completely red. "Wait...for me...?" She mumbled, swinging her legs back and forth. "CHRISTY!" The girl was jarred back to consciousness by her Bakugan's call. "Oh! Sorry! Ability Activate! Mist of Misery!"

The Bakugan hissed, letting out another cloud of mist. When it cleared, he was gone, and the clones were now torturing each other with the fusion ability. A clone of Kallua appeared behind each of the clones of Quakeerion, slamming them into the ground with their tails. Each clone disappeared, revealing the two real Bakugan. "What? You done already?" He said walking forward, grabbing Quakeerion by the tail and pulling him out of the ground. "Tsunami Stryker!" He roared, blasting him point blank with gallons upon gallons of water pressure.

[Crash Terron]

(OOC: There is only one Quakeerion out)


Crash: Not this time!


Crash swiped two abilities through his Scanner.


Double Ability activate! Rotation Shield plus Earthen Slam!


Quakeerion rolled up into a ball, and began to spin. His speed increased each second, eventually going fast enough to create a whirlpool with Kallua's water. Kallua was caught in the whirlpool, spun around a bit, then thrown into the air. Quakeerion, still spinning, launched himself at Kallua, dispersing the water, and slamming into him at a high speed. The spikes on his Quantonium armor-skin pierced through the tough hide of Kallua, causing great pain, and knocking the breath out of Kallua. Kallua slammed into the tree Christy and Crash were on, causing both of them to lose their balance. Christy plummeted towards the ground, while Crash held on to the branch for dear life.


Crash: Quakeerion! Catch Christy!


Quakeerion obeyed immediately. He lunged, grabbing Christy in the palm of his claw. Crash's hand started slipping.


Crash: Quake! I'm about to fall! Help!


Quakeerion got to his feet right as Crash lost his grip. Taking a leap of faith, Quakeerion caught Crash in the same hand Christy was in, then landed on his underbelly. Crash looked up to see the tree that Kallua hit tip over, and fall on the nearly unconscious Kallua, however, it was not enough to take him out. Quakeerion put down Christy and Crash, and Crash swiped an ability through his Scanner.


Crash: Consecutive ability activate! Special ability, Ultimate Crash Laser!


Quakeerion got up and reared his head back, charging his laser while parts of his armor-skin created a highly reflective tunnel. Quakeerion fired off the powerful laser into the tunnel, where it bounced off the walls of the tunnel, and finally exited. The powerful laser smashed into Kallua, hitting him square in the chest, sending him flying through five trees, two mountains, and a small, abandoned village before hitting the largest mountain in Olympia, Mt. Atamana, leaving an outline of Kallua's body. Kallua then returned to ball form. A voice was heard from Christy's Scanner.

Quakeerion returned to ball form, and flew back into Crash's hand.
