Shokraan RP No.1: Rampant

Cabel rushed to the attic where his father kept all of the family training gear, "Dad, what are we gonna," but then some creature leaped out from the top of the ladder, sending the 12 year old ajar. He hit his head on the floor when he landed, but he's hit his head several times before. He ran to his room to get the sword his mother passed on to him only to see it was gone. He also noticed that there was no one in the house with him, "I swear if you all went out on an adventure without me." Then two more of that same creature emerged from the kitchen. Cabel was beginning to panic because he was finally realizing, those creature were his family, his dad, Daniel Arelicas, at the top of the attic; and his mom and third oldest sister, Erin and Cherish Arelicas, were all these strange creatures. "So is this like werewolf-rules..."

He couldn't raise his hand, well maybe to Cherish, but only in sparring matches. He ran out of the house, when throwing needles came his way, he looked up and saw Nick Donimeu, Django the Assassin's son. "Oh man I'm glad you aren't one of them." Something turned my parents and siblings into a... a... a thing." Nick wasn't cold blooded like his father, he had a soft heart, because his mother constantly babied him, but now he had to take charge or die by the hand of his beloved mother. Cabel wasn't thilled about this either, but it was kill or be killed, and he had to find the antidote. "Nick, you think Prof. Finn isn't one of these things yet." Cabel had a thick film of fear in his voice. "Nah, Cabel, I heard a high pitched animalistic scream a few hours ago that could be nothing more than that little mutant bunny rabbit's." Nick started to fly in the direction of Finnian McClain's lab, where this all started. Cabel had no choice but to follow, and follow he did. Maybe, just maybe, there will be a fighter that is at least stronger than me that hasn't 'turned' yet, I don't even have my sword, I have to get it.

Varado was perched upon a streetlight. These monsters were apearring around the town. He wasn't a horrible fighter, but this was a problem. He had a leather bag covering his weapon, and another covering his right arm. He knew he had to find allies. Who, he didn't care. Just that he had to. Before he could really compose himself, one of those monsters was climbing up the light. All he had to do was give it a good right jab. The jab crushed it's face, killing it niegh on instantaneously. He hoped off of the lamp and walked left, hoping to find help.

Once at the lab, Nick called,"Finn, you there," A small humanoid rabbit emerged from the shadows. Finn trembled with fear, covered in the black, sludge-like blood of one of those things. "Finn, is that... Era?" The terrified being slowly nodded, then he beckoned to the glass capsule with one of those mosters in it. That monster had to be Era, he could see her soul in it's eyes. "That is Era, I had to have her incapacitated." Nick looked at Finn for fear of his parents, "Is there an antidote?" Finn paused for a moment, "Yes. There is. But I need time to make more, and perfect it. But take this, this serum will allow you to see the human soul inside the monstrosity." After thanking him, Nick and Cabel both took the serum, saving some for the allies to come. And speaking of allies, Cabel climbed onto the roof of the lab, "Ukhita Divine Art, Wind Style, Move Number 12, Screech Wind!" He crossed his arms, his hands resting at his shoulders making an 'X'. He cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled for any non-feral allies.

Alv was walking around the mansion, whistling an errily perky tune. A snarling sound could be heard from the end of the hallway.
"...what on Earth was that?" He mummbled to himself. The snarles grew more feral, and got closer. Some form of deformed beast shifted throughout the shadows. Alv rushed to his room, adrenaline helping his every step, and grabed his. Gryfeirs Notebook.
"Alright you sick animals, look what happens when I change the floor from cherrywood to silver!" the book glowed and red electricity flowed into the ground. The door was ripped offit's hinges and the beast came in. But the floor around transformed into a silvery platform. A feww needles of pure silver skewered the animal to shreads and more snarling could be heard.
"No way I can take them all...I may need some authoritarian assistance." Alv jumped out his window and turned the ground below into a mattress. He was on the lower levels, so the damage was little to nothing. He quickly began his journey into the city, when he saw a man on a streetlight. Another creature attacked him, but was taken out in one blow. Alv was impressed. Maybe this stranger could help. The mystery man hoped off the lamp and walked off, and the snarling from the animals could be heard in the distance.
"Relentless dogs...even worse than that. Hey! You over there! Animals are coming this way, and there is strength in numbers! It's better than being picked off one by one! So will you help!?"

Varado heard Alv behind him. But he continued to walk on. Then the sound of more of those beasts hit his ears." mutts don't know how to stay down." he muttered under his breath. He turned to the man with a notebook." you have a good plan. Maybe listening to you is a good idea. If you really need it, then I will help." he then took his battle stance. He placed both of his hands in the shape of a s." now they will face the white snake."

Cabel continued to shout, "Listen, uncorrupted beings. If you can hear me, don't kill them. My parents my family, your family have all been transformed into them. Trust me, follow my voice, find me and my friend. If we get my grandfather back to normal, she can subdue them all. Please don't kill them, they're still human.... Unless their 8th dimensional." Cabel inhaled sharply, out of breath. He passed out and fell from his perch, falling into the mass of those beasts. Nick rushed to his aid, using his assassin skills to hurl a maelstrom of throwing needles with a expertly placed hole in shape of Cabels body, only cutting a single hair from his head.

"So we can't kill these things? That's no fun. Ahh well, might as well beat them severely, like a dog does a sofa." Alv said,. Grinning at the thought. He transmuted hardwood staffs from the concreat below and threw one at Varado.
"Just to stop you from crushing them with a punch." Alv said, and swatted away a creature. Two more followed up, but Alv shoved the pole between them. They were slowly breaking the wood that stood between them.
"A little assistance?"

(Nick is only a minor character, so he cannot use any of his special techniques, only weapons and melee for those who don't know yet)

Cabel roused nearly seconds from when he fell and slapped Nick over the head, "Dude, you messed up my hair man, now how am I gonna look awesome when I fight?" Nick just laughed, then, hearing the commotion just outside the building, "Be right back." He leaped out the window and jumped over the heads of each of those monsters until he reached the guy on the light post. "Hey, you two come with me, we have the scientist behind all of this on out side." He said as the monster whose head he was standing on lashed it's tongue out at him. Effortlessly he jumped and did a showoff-y back flip, landing back on it's head. "Come on." And he kicked off into flight assuming they'd follow, or be killed by a horde of feral beasts.

" my,my." varado said to alva transmutation." why can't I punch them? I thought these were monsters." then he saw Nick jump on one of the monsters heads. Varado proceeded to giving a few of them a right hook. He then yelled out at cabel." they were gonna kill me first, so it's thier fault." afterwords he followed after cabel, elbowing any
of the creatures in his way with his covered right arm.

"And it looks like I have compitition for the tittle of "Show-off"." Alv said, followinng after Ryek. More monsters came into pursuit, but Alv transmuted the ground into liquid cement behind the group, so the creatures could slosh around into fast hardening goo.
"That will hold them. Now I have to assume, what sick dog would change these people into such savage things? And I have?kt ruled you out of the assumption." Alv said towards Nick and Cable.

(I may have flash back moments to fill you in on some happenings that occured in the original Shokraan that may be important to the plot in the RP)

Given the initial speed and strength of the two, they were there within minutes. "Yo, I'm Cabel Arelicas," He waved them into the lab, "And I don't think I've properly introduced myself, I'm Nicholas Donimeu." Finn sat in the more technologically structured part of the lab, gently stroking Era's confinement as she thrashed at the inside, he didn't fear her, it makes Cabel wonder what kind of relationship they had.

[Flashback Moment]
It was long before Cabel was born, Dan had angered a possible, and by possible I mean no way in Valhalla, candidate to join Nagaa. He forced the tjird dimension to overlap with the eith dimension, where they met Finnian Klyce and his partner Era. She had a neko-like boy structure, deep tan, beige furred cat ears and tail, file sharp claws. When they first met she was pretty feisty too. But she grew to love them, and even help ed them get back to the third dimension.
[Flashback Moment]

"You know she was his wife right?" Nick told Cabel, interrupting his thought. "Mom and dad tell me stories of their adventures as children before I go to bed. Best. Stories. Ever." Cabel was awed, "Dad never told me, and maybe Django should have told me when I was there." Cabel wanted to know what his mom and dad did before he was born. He was barely old enough to fight when the Anu Beasts rose, he had been told that Erin killed and revived everyone, with the exception of her Grandpa Gen, the last living shaman after having killed his shaman brethren. "Eh, never came up. I just hope the monsters don't hurt my little sister." Cabel was confused, he knew they Django and Lacey were trying to have another child, but he hadn't known they'd already had another, as far as he was concerned Nick was an only child. "You don't have a sister?" Nick chuckled at how gullible Cabel had been, "Not yet, she's unborn."

Cabel stand before the two new allies, "Well, there's your 'mad' scientist." He said using, air-quotes around mad. He touched his finger to his thumb, prepared to throw a basic energy blast should anyone get jumpy. Not only that, but Finn had been quite the gadgeteer in his days in the eighth dimension, who knows what he was wearing. A knife that could pierce the skin, but freeze the wound on contact. A coin that could explode with the slightest flux in tension. Or maybe even a gauntlet that could force ones bowels to move so fast it draws blood. Cabel had been joking around with the 'Atomic Fart' idea for some time, and Finn was weird, who knew if he made it or not. While keeping his left hand ready, he strode over to the table of the inventions he had made while working as one of Finn's aides, he grabbed the morall seeking throwing needles for Nick and the Dusk/Lumino twin blade lookalikes for himself. Both were curved, one was black, the other white. Since they were generated with modern tech, they also had blue seams of cybernetic energy that skittered across the surface. He was ready to fight off the two newcomers, should they get jumpy. "Here Nick, Take these. With Your energy, all you have to do is put them away, and when you use them, more will generate to take their place. They seek morale that is opposite of yours, so only use them on those beasts. On impact, they should deliver a shock that will stun them for a short while okay." Nick's head was spinning, "Uuuuuuuuuuh.... what?" Cabel Sighed, "You'll figure it out when you use them." Cabel tied both swords to his left hip, where his original sword would usually be.

(These are guest weapons, they can be used without warning, like using minor characters. Also, if any of you come to feel you know Nick's personality at least 3/4 as much as I do, please, feel free to post any words and actions he may say or do. He's a guest character so it's fine. If it is a bit out of context, I'll have to talk to you about it though.)

"My,my,my why so jumpy? Are you that eager to kill? I see you preparing yourselves. But I understand, i'd do the same thing. Like any dog, humans can be very territorial. So, this must be your great scientist. I must say, I am impressed." Snarls and screeches pierced the labs atmosphere and those Animals ripped through windows, walls, even the floor.
"So, we still cannot kill these things?" Alv said, transmuting a wooden pillar to smash two beasts into the ceiling.

Varado uncovered his right arm. What it revealed was a arm made up of supercompressed stone. He got back into the white snake stance." it's either us or them. And I prefer them." he got ready for a all out brawl. Whatever came, he was going to fight to the end." now ladies, let's get this party on the roll."

[Silan Jester]

"Finn they're coming through the floors." Cabel said this half-questioningly as the humanoid rabbit focused one furred hand forward, palm out, resting his other palm on his blonde forearm. A green aura circled him as a force pushed the creatures back and out of the lab. "Don't worry, Era, you'll be better soon. I promise..." He whispered, stroking the capsule containing the rabid beast that was once his partner. Cabel looked on at his new allies, he was half-expecting one of them to lunge at Finn for turning their family into monsters. "So do either of you two belong to a guild?"

[Azazel Grantz]

"Excuse me? Guild? I haven't heard those words in quite a while. It used to be a dream of mine..." Alv looked at Finn, who was stroking the glass container that an Animal was in.
"She was a friend, correct? That's the sad thing about that, you feel remorse when they die or turn against you. You somehow think it's your fault. Well, it is. You've allowed yourself to be hindered by such emotions as that and those same emotions: love, compation, friendship, will be the very same thing that kills you.which is why I've eliminated all ties to those whom I've 'cared' about. they aren't amongst these rabid beasts because I already make quick work of them years ago. I'm like a wolf, you see, only needing others for my survival. As far as I'm concerned, your all just weapons with brains." Alv said, creating a mound of gunpowder around the entrances. More beasts tried to enter, but with a few matches and oil, a fiery explosion sealed the exits, killing the animals on the outside. One more animal though, had made it in, And went after Varado.
