Just as Khragonex was about to get blasted by the impact, Calvin quickly opened the gate card. "Hang on Khragonex! Gate Card OPEN!" Calvin shouted, holding his arm forward. "Rising Force!!" The gate card glowed purple, as purple flames surrounded Khragonex to protect him from Drago's impact, while other flames surrounded Drago to nullify his move. *KABOOOM!!!!* Khragonex and Drago landed on the ground, standing across from each other. "Nice saved Calvin!" Khragonex added.
"Whew! Good thing Khragonex isn't down yet! Ability Activate!!" Calvin shouted. Khragonex shined orange, as he was ready to use Subterra ability. "Terror Smasher!!!" Two massive golden iron claws appeared on Khragonex' fists, then Khragonex launched his iron claws that formed iron arrows at Drago. Before the iron arrows were about to reach Drago, the iron arrows fired multiple lasers at Drago to attack him.

Dan smiled as he was enjoying this battle. "Pretty good there Calvin."
Dan pressed a button on his bakumeter in order to give Drago an extra boost in power.
Bakumeter: "Ready, Infinity Blitzer." the bakumeter said as the cross gear appeared.
"Cross Gear, fuse!"
The cross gear, an upgraded version of a battle gear, fuses with the bakugan it is intended for in order to make it more powerful. When it fuses with Drago, he gets equipped with special armor that used the perfect core itself to repel any attacks. This basically means the armor itself has the power of all attributes as well as the perfect core energy with it. Also, the cross gear will enable him to use his pyrus energy as a weapon at will. Due to the armor, he was able to protect himself from the Terror Smasher ability.
"Let him have it buddy!"
Drago glowed red, and fired numerous large heat blasts that contained very high temperatures and were very powerful. Using the energy from the perfect core in this attack, the blasts were sure to inflict high damage.

Khragonex crossed his arms, as he struggled protecting himself from the heat blasts. "Ergghh!!! That's alot of fire power!" Khragonex said, struggling hard. "Whoa! That thing is incredible!" Calvin shouted, as the the attack hit home. *KABOOOM!!!* Seeing as Khragonex received alot of damage by the heat blasts, he returned to ball form, landing onto the ground. Khragonex ball form then rolled over Calvin's feet.
Calvin Life Force :: 200 (40%)
Calvin picked up Khragonex ball. "You alright here? It looks like that blast must have burned you hard." Calvin said to Khragonex. "It's okay, we can still do this! and together we will be the champion!" Khragonex replied, then Calvin nodded, smiling. Calvin then looked at Dan, smiling as he enjoyed the battle. "Dan Kuso! I've got to say, you're very strong! This is why I was your biggest fan, you're an amazing brawler." He said, laughing happily.

As Drago returned to Dan's hand, he smiled at Calvin.
"Thanks man. You're very powerful yourself. I honestly think i've never had an opponent like you."
Dan pulled a gate card from his sleeve as he was getting ready to set the gate card.
"Gate card set!" Dan said as he threw the gate card on the field. After it expanded, Dan took Drago and threw him on the gate card.
"Bakugan brawl! Drago stand!!"
Drago stood as he let out a battle cry. He was clearly ready for another round.
Drago: "Let's finish this Khragonex!"

"Alright! This time, we'll win this!" Calvin said, grabbing Khragonex, he threw him to the brawl. "Bakugan Brawl! Khragonex Stand!" Calvin yelled, as Khragonex stood into monster form, roaring. "You bet Drago!" Khragonex replied, ready for more action.

"Ability activate! Dual Infinity Barnum!"
This was a pyrus and haos ability that was about to be activated. Upon activation, Drago used both of his hands to fire a spiral stream of pyrus and haos energy combined at Khragonex. Like a previous ability from one of his evolutions in the past, this one would trigger explosions in the area or bakugan it hit on impact. As an added bonus, Drago also fired blasts from certain parts of his wings at Khragonex as well.

"Ability Activate! Olympian Burst Wave!!" Before Khragonex was about to get hit by the blasts, he charged up two energy from his hands, then he fired streams of lasers that contained Olympian DNA energy at the incoming fire blasts and Drago. As Khragonex' Olympian lasers came in contact with Drago's Pyrus and Haos lasers, Calvin swiped another ability through his BakuScanner to increase Khragonex' power. "I'm not done yet! Ability Activate!! Force Strength!" With this, Force Strength doubled Khragonex' powers. Khragonex's lasers grew bigger as they surpassed Drago's blasts, hoping to hit Drago.

Drago crossed his arms to protect himself the best he could, but it wasn't enough as he was hit by the blasts. Smoke surrounded his location as a result of the impact. Dan knew that they were getting even more serious about this.
"Ability activate! Magma Exploder!!"
A pyrus and subterra ability would be a nice response to this situation. Numerous cracks started forming in the ground all around Khragonex's location as a result of the ability's activation. Suddenly, an explosion similar to how a volcano would explode ensued on every crack that was opened. If the explosions were the least of their worries, lava would also shoot up from the ground in an attempt to burn Khragonex.

When the ground was cracked all around Khragonex's location, Khragonex started to look around and everywhere. "What's going on?" Khragonex asked, still looking around. "Be careful Khragonex! It could be a trap!" Calvin warned. Then Khragonex was quickly burned by the lava on the ground, screaming in pain. "Khragonex!! Oh no!" Calvin shouted, then swiped another ability card on his BakuScanner. "Ability Activate!! Angel Army!" As Khragonex was burning by the flames, he glowed yellow, fading away. Suddenly, multiple clones of Khragonex appeared on the field, in an attempt to attack Drago all together.

"That sure is a lot of clones! Ability activate!"
Drago: "Flame Nexus!"
Drago used his wings to in order to shine a bright light in the direction he was facing (which is similar to what he did with Jetkor during the invasion of the Gundalians). The light was not primarily used for blinding the enemy, but the light was actually a giant laser beam. He shined the light at all Khragonex's hoping to reveal where the real one was located, but that was currently unknown.

When all lasers destroyed all Khragonex's clones, smokes surrounded Khragonex's location as a result of the blast. Suddenly, stream of ice was quickly fired from the smoke at Drago to freeze him. "Ability Activate! Crystal Stream!!" Calvin shouted, as he quickly activated an ability. "Okay now that we've got Drago paralyzed, Khragonex here's your chance!" Calvin shouted, pointing at the opposing. "Eternal Force Attack!!!" Khragonex glowed purple as he charged up. He then fired laser beams from his hands towards Drago.

"You're going to have to do better than that Calvin! Gate card open! Hyper Energy Force!"
Due to the gate card being opened, Drago was able to break out of the ice due to him being protected. He was also able to completely resist the Hero Force Attack due to the gate's effects, as well as stealing some of Khragonex's power.
"Ability activate! Legendary Blade!"
Drago summoned a blade in his hands. The blade had symbol in its center that glowed with the same color as the perfect core, which means this blade had the power of all 6 attributes. With it, he can use any attribute he wanted with this blade in order to defeat his opponent. For now, he fired an energy pulses at Khragonex with his blade, and once they hit, he then teleported behind Khragonex getting ready to slash him.
Drago: "This is it Khragonex!"

Khragonex was quickly slashed by Drago's blade, falling down. "Ahhh! Let's show them who the true warrior is here Khragonex!" Calvin shouted. "Ability Activate!! Warrior Breaker!" Two large energy blades appeared on Khragonex's wrists. Swinging his blades, he fired energy wave in an X shape at Drago. "Here's more Drago! Infinite Cannon!!" Khragonex let out a roar, revealing all cannons on his body, he fired every laser that can be explosive at the X shaped energy wave, to increase power of the blast to attack Drago.

"Grr! Just a little more Drago! Cross Gear, fuse!"
Infinity Blitzer fused with Drago in order to give him his armor that contained the powers of all 6 attributes, and was used to shield him from the incoming blasts. The smoke that formed from the impact made Drago unable to be seen for a moment. This gave them the perfect opportunity to strike.
"Ability activate! Legendary Dragonier!"
The cross gear increased the power of his abilities as well. He fired a powerful stream of very intense power and heat at Khragonex.

"ERGGGHHHH!!!" Khragonex screamed in pain, when he was about to fall down, he landed on the ground instead. "Ergh not that Cross Gear again! Calvin!!" Khragonex called, as he knew Calvin would summon the Battle Key. "Alright I'm on it! Battle Key! Unlock!!" Calvin called out his new Battle Key: Infinity Shootex!
In Calvin's BakuScanner screen, it showed Infinity Shootex key was being inserted into the keyhole of Khragonex's back in ball form. As the key turned, Khragonex's ball form was fully opened.
Just as Khragonex wore the gear of the new Battle Key, an iron shield armor appeared on his chest in a V shape, which this gear is fully protective. His wings then transformed into two/twin large cannons.
