Hello everyone. It's Blade again, and I want to ask all of you a very serious question that applies to this site as a whole. As you can tell from the title of this thread, you can expect something similar to that being asked. So here it is. What do all of you expect from Bakugan World Championship that could improve your overall experience as members here? This can range from anything in terms of battling, roleplaying, or anything you would want that could make your experience better. There has been a lot of inactivity going on, and I've seen it is due to boredom and school, and while that is understandable, I would want to make sure that all of you are satisfied with your stay here. I'm not saying that you are being forced to respond to this thread, but it is strongly recommended that you tell me and the other staff what you want to make it fun for you all and at least try to decrease the inactivity as much as possible. Remember, we can't make any changes that can appeal to everyone unless we get your feedback. Your opinions is the only possible way we can move forward and not go down. I know this sounds a bit weird coming from me, but I sincerely beg all of you to please let us know of anything you want done in this thread so we can move forward as a community and stay together. Thank you.

As a member of the staff, I want to see the relationship between staffers and regular members become better.

Well, since no one else wants to respond to this (<_<), I personally think we should actually change some things concerning brawling since that is basically what this site is about. XD I think the revival of the World Tournaments should be good, and it's official that I will be raising the maximum power levels of the bakugan since we haven't really been doing any evolutions lately.

I have not given my consent on increasing power levels, nor shall I.
I believe that 1200-1500 is too high as it is, and should stay that way.

Alright. I respect your opinion, but there is one thing you may not know. We already lost one aspect that everyone use to love doing in the past: evolving their bakugan. Yes, 1200-1500 is high, but we're in Season 4, so we have the right to raise the power levels to match the plot if we feel the need to, and according to some of us, we will be doing that. And it's not like I'm saying that it would stay that way because I'm trying to get everyone battling again, and it's just an experiment whether people will actually do it.

I feel that it would bring back a very important part of the site that was lost.

Quite personally, I have no issue with the brawling. I just don't like to take part in it as Mindy completely trashed all of our gear and disabled my only good brawling account, Drim, which apparently cannot be reenabled. (Not to mention the fact that she refused to allow Drim a comeback seeing as he was never CONFIRMED dead, and could have just been unconscious or in a coma, which I believe is why she disabled it)
Now, as I look up at my window title, I see 'Bakugan World Chapionship: The New Generation RPG
The thing I want to see is BETTER ROLEPLAYING.
In the past, people got a brawling test to be a canon.
Really? In Season 2 we swapped over and made it solidly a roleplay, no power levels involved in the slightest. So, rather than keeping up with these rediculous brawling tests for canons, I propose we make it an actual screening and audition where you show your ROLEPLAYING ABILITIES. The last thing I need is a one liner replying to my 5 paragraph rp post that I have to make something out of. T_T

-coughs-
Honestly, this is how I see it: If we raise the power levels, then I'm finished. Not trying to be the 'baby' of the situation, but anything between 1500-2000 is far too much. I mean, we have 1800G and I feel like that shouldn't have been allowed. It's just far too much. So if you guys want to increase the limit for power levels, then by all means do so. But I won't be apart of this at all.

But I won't be apart of this at all. Sadly, you have no choice. XD You're the main administrator, so this is truly something you should be overseeing and monitoring since it's your job to do so. Also, I'm getting really sick of the community here. (It's not all of you.) I didn't really notice this up until like 2 weeks ago, but it's obvious that some of you just do not care. Why the fuck is there a Site Promoter who isn't doing her job while she was online? Why are the "veterans" of this site not posting suggestions since you've been here for a long period of time and would have better judgement over the people who haven't been here that long? Honestly, this stuff is just stupid. There's too many idiots getting banned (Xian is a perfect example.), there is honestly not enough support, and the people who were supposed to be advertising did not let us know what they were doing. What does that say to me exactly? It's apparent that some of you just do not care, so I don't know why I even bothered to come back to this site anyway. Bakugan became a fail thanks to the terrible writers of bakugan and that piece of shit they call Bakutech, so what was I thinking when I was doing this? No one's going to battle even if I do raise the power levels because no one cares. (Shop looks pretty inactive to me.) Plot came to a complete stop, so why should I even bother removing some of the ignorant canons who decided to go inactive the past few weeks without telling anyone? (I already know who you all were. I know Luke Kage can definitely "explain" that shit that was being pulled right? ) And again, the advertising problem was just not that smart. I'm not even going to bring everything about that back up since you pretty much know what happened there. Seriously guys. I want to help. I really do, but some of you members are not making this easier for us. You're actually encouraging us to quit on this site because some of you refuse to cooperate with the rules, refuse to do your jobs, and will not give any form of suggestions that could help boost activity. I'm just going to get ready to leave this site once and for all if this is the treatment we're getting.

I have to agree with Blade on that. It's to a point where I'm not even caring anymore, don't get me wrong I really love this forum and it's members. Some of these people I've known for 3+ years and we met way back in 2008. I try to give suggestions and some of which Blade just spoke about but all I get is "You're trying to pull a mindy.." At this point, I'm willing to do anything to keep this forum alive and and as of right now, if we keep going at this rate, this site probably wont last another month; if that. Like Blade pointed out, the community sucks and rarely ever cooperate to find solutions or to help the forum become better. Also like Houston said, we need to either make higher G power levels or drop all power levels above 1200 back to 1200.
I remember joining the forums back in 2008 and the only thing I cared about was evolving my Flaming Dragon, my first ever created bakugan. And back then, we actually did have to have a record of our wins in order to evolve our bakugan. We were serious back then. Now? I don't know what the hell happened. Bakugan was the coolest thing and still is. I still play bakugan on Xbox and DS and there still is an active community waiting for the damn bakugan creators to come back with something good. But just because it seems bakugan is fading away doesn't means we have to give up on the forum.
And like I said before, there should be a new rule stating that a member must complete at least "1" brawl a week. This will keep traffic in the brawling area and make it easier for people to enjoy. I also think that World Rankings should not even apply with the roleplay, or at least make a separate ranking system; each with a rule stating that he/her must brawl in order to defend his/her title; also making WC brawling a bit more competitive and fun at the same time.
The moment when we started not caring is the same moment when people began leaving the forums.

To clarify, Blade: I'm not obligated to do anything if what I say will be completed voided by that of the other staff members. You're right, I am the main administrator, which means I do have a choice; I have the biggest choice. But besides that, if you want to have evolution again, then I would drop the power levels down to something more simple. Something like 500. 800. Even 1000 would be good. But I am not allowing anything about 1500-1800G. That's the end of that.

Well, coming from me. I love WC the way it is, there is no need in any time to change it. What I loved was getting on of a morning racing to the computer to get on the site and check out the brawls that were going on. I know no one is brawling, but you are all here fighting about how to get people to brawl, and how often do you guys brawl.
I have to admit, I dont brawl much, for the reason that I start a brawl, then win by 3day rule. That is what is happening to many others. So we need members that want to brawl, those new guys that come every day, they want to brawl. The thing is that they don't understand this stuff like you do. I was one of those people, this was my first proboards site. What I did when no one would help me, I went to support and asked about it there, they helped alot more then you guys did (not being mean, but is true).
I know that you expect that people would read the rules so on so on. Some people have no idea how to even find the rules, I have tried to sign up so many people but they say they don't know how to get around it.
Please take this in to note, I know it will take alot of work if you want to help these despite kids that want to brawl, but it is the only way we will gain members. Hope this help, just speaking what I needed to speak.

Guys i don't even know what to say. The site just got rid of it's members suddely. Even sometimes when i'm on chat i barely see 1person online. What we are supposed to be thinking of is what caused this why and how to stop it. And one thing i can say is that increasing or decreasing the power levels cannot make the site active in anyway. If i decide to leave the forum and you change the power level or the battling systems that can't make me come back. The only way i can think of is by encouragment. We should encourage the newbies to get active not just join and not even come online again. And also our gone members should also be encouraged. There is also another means, UNIVERSAL TOURNAMENT. If there is another bakugan site we can meet with their admin set-up rules which could combine ours and theirs and make a tournament that would hold on both sites between our brawlers and theirs.

I guess it's my turn. I personally agree with Kalin. And here's why. Number one. When I came here, I believed I was going to get a rpg style experience. Then I went to battle and there's one thread for normal members to role play on. But there's 3 to 4 freaking threads for a absolutely overcomplicated battle system. One single effect and blam, stuck. Right now there's so many copyrighted effects, I stick to the same 5 effects to avoid making a card that either specifically counters a copyrighted effect, or is a copyrighted effect. And then theres moves that chain so many effects together, it takes 2 minutes to read thier move. I personally don't want to take that long reading a single move, just to figure out I'm stuck anyway. In conclusion, all I suggest is to somehow equal out the emphasis on rpg and regular battling.
