S4, E2: The Emergence of Evil

[Jason Drake]

Jason stared in shock as he realized his fatal mistake. He realized what a fool he had been for playing right into Blade's hands. At first he hadn't come to grips with the fact that Blade could have been able to pull the same gate-stealing stunt that he had. The second part was that he had forgotten about why Blade had moved up in the Underground Circuit so quickly. His support weapon, the Meteorite Fragment known as Magna Destructor. He had remembered someone telling him about Blade putting brawlers in the hospital with this massively destructive force.

Jason watched in sheer terror as Axostriker's attack approached his two bakugan with deadly speed and accuracy. As the projectiles neared Jason's bakugan, he started speaking, more mumbling than anything else. "Ηοw can this be....? I'm the....the chosen one....this is.....my destiny. There's no way that this.....this.......this punk could defeat me. I'm invincible."

The explosion hit, blasting Aion, Zodiakus, and Jason along with them. The bakugan were instantly reverted to ball form and landed next to the limp form of Jason Drake. Barely conscious, Jason's head turned slighty to face Blade.

"You.....you're some sort of....monster. You can't be human......you just.......can't be...." Jason's voice trailed off as his mind slipped out of consciousness and his eyes closed shut.

[Inferno]

Inferno was sitting up in audience and was trying not to be seen. Inferno was enjoying the destruction in the brawl below. Blade was the only brawler in the underground that had more wins than him. Inferno and Blade have never brawled each other but they've watched each other's brawls many times. Although he never wants to admit it Blade is the only brawler in the underground that Inferno had respect for.

"Did you just see how Blade destroyed Jason Phoenoxian? That power, that destruction is why he has the most wins in all of the underground." Inferno said with a look of amusement on his face. "That is some raw power Axo has. He wiped out two bakugan and knocked out Jason with one blow." Inferno looked away from Phoenoxian and back down to the carnage that was once the brawl. As the crowed was silent people were wondering if Jason would be ok.

[Ϟ Blade Ϟ]

After they were knocked out, Jason's life gauge was depleted to 0, giving Blade the victory for this Underground brawl. As usual, brawls here don't really last very long due to the dangerous bakugan that battle here, so it was no surprise that what just happened happened. Blade, ignoring the comments made by Jason, watched as Axostriker made a victory roar.

"What a joke." Blade said as he shook his head in disappointment at his opponent.

Axostriker glowed purple and began sucking in the residual battle energy. Strangely, Axostriker suddenly grew a little in size as well as his power level increasing. This is due to the unique trait that Axo has that enables him to absorb strength from the bakugan he defeats in order to grow stronger. His abilities will also change a little due to his power increase, which makes Axo one of the most threatening bakugan in the Underground. He then went into ball form and landed on Blade's shoulder without saying a word.

"Unbelievable!" The announcer said. "This guy just decimated another top ranked brawler! The winner of this battle is Blade!" ("If only these meteorite fragments could be nerfed...")

Everyone in the audience then began cheering for Blade as usual when he wins. Some were his fans and the others cheered out of fear. Still, he was basically the fan favorite of the Underground now. Unfortunately for them, Blade could care less about them. The only thing he cared about was causing destruction and getting paid, which top brawlers in the Underground basically do every time.

"Nicely done Axo." Blade said as was about to exit the arena. "What is the update on this so-called battle energy you've been telling me about?"

Axostriker opened on his shoulder and said, "The energy I absorbed has given me an upgrade. You should see some...major improvements than what you just saw me do to that overconfident fool we just beat."

"Excellent." Blade said. "Just what I like to hear. Now tell me. You appear to have absorbed tons of that energy, so why not end this?"

"You haven't realized it yet?" Axostriker said. "We've already began..."
