The punch may have hit Duskronoid of course, but it wasn't enough as Heronix needed to do more than that. "Heh heh heh heh..." Inferno smirked evilly, "You think Duskronoid can really go down by that?" He asked, grinning. "Ability Activate! Proving Strike!!" Inferno shouted an he activated a card. While Heronix's fist was still on Duskronoid, Duskronoid let out a loud roar, blowing Heronix back. "You won't survive for long." Right after Inferno's words, Duskronoid slashed Heronix with X-shaped claws. Since this ability has also the effect of increasing Duskronoid's powers to its maximum, Heronix is then defeated, turning back to its ball form.

Right after Jimmy's defeat, the battlefield closed as the the battle was over. "That was easy, by defeating the champion of Mecha City." Inferno said, as he caught Duskronoid's ball form. "I told you Jimmy, you can't defeat me, and you never will." After Inferno said, he walked away.
