Drake had a strange vision of his brother Jimmy, who was under Xecarlos' control, destroying Team Blasters and their Bakugans. Drake then sensed that something wrong was going on. Since that incident was on Equilibria, Drake demanded his partner Zorvash to open a portal to travel there to see what he can do, and Zorvash does so. With Zorvash knowing alot about Equilibria, it will be easier for Drake to find Jimmy.

As Dragoonior defeated the last one of the Bakugan army, Edin, Dragoonior and Betadron ran into Drake and Zorvash, who said that they came here to save Jimmy from his darkness, by tracking the Team Blasters' BakuMonitors to this maze. Edin and Drake then agreed to work together in hopes to find and save Jimmy, for now. Later, they came across Clyde, who blocked their paths. Edin stepped forward, taking on Clyde's challenge, "I will handle this Drake, now go. Save Jimmy for us. He is your brother," Edin said, and Drake went on evading Fordeon's fire blast attack, and continued finding Jimmy. As the brawl between Clyde and Edin just started, Clyde declared that this will be the end for Edin, unless Edin joins the Chaos Rulers like Jimmy did. Edin refused to join them of course, but let's see what's going to happen. Brawl!

[Edin Ryu]

Dragoonior growled at Fordeon with a disgusted look. The enemy was insistent on attempting to get him corrupted at fight on their side just as Heronix is currently. He took Clyde's remark as implying that this fight right here would be their last confrontation. Dragoonior couldn't disagree with that as he had every intention on destroying those who tamper with forbidden power. "Alright, Fordeon. Lets settle this!" Dragoonior roared.



Edin took a glance at Betadron and was going to ask him a favor. Although he was aware that his participation in the battle would make things go faster, it wouldn't do much good if they were flanked by any of the enemy's reinforcements. For this reason, Edin made the proposal. "Betadron, can you scout the area to make sure there's no outside interference? We don't need any more of them showing up here and getting us from behind." Betadron gave Edin's question some thought. His reckless nature says stay to absolutely destroy Fordeon, but on the other hand, he could see this was something him and Dragoonior wanted to do by themselves. "Okay..." he reluctantly said. "I hope you know what you're doing." Betadron then stepped back and went to patrol the area, leaving Dragoonior and Fordeon on the battlefield.

Edin pulled out an ability card to start things off. "Ability activate! Saber Bolt!" Dragoonior's sword was charged with electricity that appeared red in color. It was enough to amplify his speed and piercing power to the point where he could move fast enough to consider it teleporting, and then pierce through the enemy to induce paralysis, numbness, and maybe even a severe injury. Dragoonior teleported behind Fordeon, and slashed immediately.

[Clyde]

"Fordeon!" Fordeon did not want to let go of Drake and Betadron. He fired large powerful flames from his mouth at them, but he missed his shot. "Get back here you cowards!" Angered the blue dragon. Now just as the battle started when Dragoonior attempted to attack, Clyde launched his BakuSoldier to the battle, "BakuSoldier Discharge! Rise Aquos Seedrill!!" He shouted, as Seadrill rose from his rocket form.



Seadrill stepped forward as Fordeon took the hit from Dragoonior's speed attack. He went on his defense mode to protect Fordeon. "Edin, you shouldn't have to oppose us. If you have joined us, we can get anything we wished for, together," Clyde said, still pretending to act like friends with Edin. You will pay for your insolence Dragoonior," Fordeon added, "Seadrill, use Steel Drill!!" Fordeon ordered Seadrill's attack. Seadrill's horn glowed metal and spun like a drill. Then, he went on at Dragoonior to stab him with it.

Meanwhile, Drake and Zorvash just reached the end of the maze, where they ended up in front of a strange tower entrance. Zorvash sensed that the evil emperor of Equilibria (Xecarlos) must be there inside, and decided that he and Drake should enter in. Before Drake and Zorvash were about to head in, Jimmy suddenly appeared. Drake confronted his brother Jimmy, demanding to know what was going on with him. Jimmy responded that nothing was going on, wanting to crush anyone who opposes Equilibrians. Drake then figured out that Jimmy didn't remember anything in the past at all due to him still being under control of Xecarlos! Zorvash proposed that the only way to snap Jimmy out of it is to destroy his inner darkness, and to do so, Drake must defeat him by using destructive powers. "BakuMonitor, Activate Battlefield!!" Soon when the battle started, Drake seemed to be determined to bring Jimmy out of his darkness, in return to when Jimmy did the same thing to him in the past. Will Drake prevail this time? or will he lose to his brother again like before?

Jimmy held his Bakugan, Heronix, in his hand as darkness flowed over it, "Whoever you are, I will not allow you to get in our way, get it?" Jimmy said to Drake (whom he doesn't remember), with a dark tone in his voice. He gripped Heronix's ball form tightly, ready to throw him, "Now crush him Heronix, Bakugan Brawl! BakuBlaster Launch!!" Jimmy shouted, sending Heronix to the battle. Heronix stood from his ball form as he launched projectiles forward. He remained silent, folding his arms and waiting for his opponent to be launched.

[Drake Kyudai]

Drake glared at his younger brother as he saw the darkness flow throughout his body. At this point, he knew his brother was lost to the dark forces that plagued this gloomy planet, and the only way through was to take him down. As Heronix emerged from his ball form, Drake observed his body and noticed a slight change in his color scheme; he anticipated that the bakugan must have obtained forbidden power that the Equilibrians praise themselves for. He has seen all he needed to see. He gripped Zorvash in his hand and was getting prepared to launch him to the field with haste.

"I never imagined I would face you like this, Jimmy," Drake expressed with a a little bit of grief. "You were one of the more unlikely ones to turn out this way. Even if it means I have to destroy both you and Heronix, you will not consume anyone else with your darkness. This ends now." Drake then launched his bakugan onto the field. "Bakugan, brawl! Bakublaster, launch!" Zorvash was thrown onto the gate card and emerged from his ball form in battle ready condition.



"Heronix got a makeover? Fantastic! I think he looks better this way," the upper half said. The lower half was slightly annoyed by the upper half's constant playful remarks, but he brushed them aside in order to stay focused as the more serious one out of the two. "There won't be a tie this time, Heronix! You're going down!"

[Jimmy Kyudai]

Heronix was not aware of what Zorvash said, as his eyes glowed red. Jimmy held out his hand, activating an ability, "Let's start. Ability Activate, Cursed Energy!" Jimmy's hand flashed as the ability took effect. Heronix rose up with his power rising up. His wings began to disappear, and slowly, they were replaced by numerous spikes on his back. Then several spiked chain glowing blue were released from the spikes on Heronix's back, and Heronix began to hit Zorvash with them. This attack is no ordinary that the real Heronix wouldn't really use, as it could be painful each time it hits the opponent.

[Drake Kyudai]

Drake observed the ability and knew that it wasn't something he wanted Zorvash to be hit with. He immediately pulled out an ability to avert the immediate danger. "Ability activate! Void Portal!" Zorvash opened a portal right in front of him in order to allow Cursed Energy to enter. The portal was open until the last chain entered it, and he then closed it.

"So much for that attack," the lower half said. The upper half was actually quite delighted that it happened, and responded, "That's okay. It's coming back anyway!" Immediately after the attack was sucked in, numerous portals opened near Heronix . His Cursed Energy ability was unleashed from the portals; the attack was amplified to do twice what it would have done.

[Jimmy Kyudai]

Heronix was hit as he was blown backwards. It may not be enough as his opponent had to do more than that, "Ability Activate, Sacred Bolt!!" Jimmy declared Heronix's next attack. Upon the activation of the ability, Heronix charged up, as purple electricity flowed through his body. Then after charging up, he sent out multiple powerful lasers from his hands and spikes on his back in every direction. This attack may be very powerful as it can hit everywhere in the area, which the opponent may not dodge it. "Let's see what you've got against this!"

[Drake Kyudai]

Zorvash braced itself as the Sacred Bolt attack was nearing their location. The appearance of the ability definitely sparked some interest into how much damage it could actually inflict. Without wasting any time, Drake pulled out another ability in preparation for Zorvash's next attack. "Ability activate! Frenzy Blaster!" Drake declared. Zorvash's lower half opened its mouth and unleashed an armada of energy blasts continuously. The explosions caused from the impacts seemed like it was never-ending as more blasts were fired. He intended to cause a stalemate with Sacred Bolt.

[Jimmy Kyudai]

Explosions by the attacks eventually caused the two Bakugan to be sent backwards. The Evil Jimmy was impressed at how Zorvash was able to counter Heronix's aggressive attacks, unlike the other Team Blasters' Bakugans. With Heronix and Zorvash back on feet, they began their hand to hand combat, punching each other, "...You're getting me mad! Ability Activate, Sacred Blade!!" Jimmy shouted with a dark tone, as Heronix generated a huge and sharp blade in his hand. This is an evil version of Phoenix Blade, with more powerful attack, as the blade is two times stronger. Heronix then charged up an electricity through his blade. After that, he swung his weapon, dealing heavy damages to Zorvash. Jimmy's eyes then shined red, about to make an announcement, "Keep going Heronix, destroy the enemy who ever opposes us," Xecarlos said through Jimmy's body, "Soon Equilibria will prevail and conquer the universe!" Xecarlos repeated.

[Drake Kyudai]

Zorvash's lower half grunted in pain after being hit by Heronix's blade. The damage inflicted to him was not enough to keep the upper half from being an annoyance. "Uh oh. Looks like little Jimmy is angry. Is that any different from how you were acting earlier? I couldn't tell the difference." The lower half was not in favor of being hit again as Heronix was about to go in for another swing. "Any time is great, Drake. Really. I absolutely want to be hit by that again," he said sarcastically.

Drake was almost tempted to allow it even though he knew he was being sarcastic; however, the battle conditions did not warrant any messing around. Instead, he pulled out another ability card. "Ability activate! Death Battle!" The swords on Zorvash's back were infused with his Vestroian and Equilibrian energy; they were drawn and manipulated through his Equilibrian powers. Using those three in unison, Zorvash was able to effectively combat Heronix. This allowed him to keep him occupied while he used another attack.

"Ability activate! Photon Eradication!" Drake commanded. Zorvash generated an energy blast in both of his hands in the shape of pulsing orbs. The blasts have incredible penetration power, dealing massive damage to its target continuously even after the attack connects. He had the option to launch it, but he chose to collide it into Heronix manually to deal even more damage and give him less room to re-adjust from Death Battle. "Payback time, buddy!" the upper half said.

[Jimmy Kyudai]

Jimmy opened his eyes widely, ready to counter with an unexpecting forbidden ability, "Now, Chaos Ability X Activate, Demonotic Force!!" He shouted, and his eyes flashed red as the ability took effect. Heronix clenched his fists tight, causing his muscles and veins to grow. With it, he was able to absorb all of Zorvash's attacks, rendering his abilities useless. Immediately after withstanding Zorvash's attacks, Heronix roared in pain as he was having too much power. Nonetheless, it wouldn't matter for now. When Heronix charged up all his energy filled with electricity, he unleashed violent explosions in every location where Zorvash may easily get hit by. "Time to disappear!"

[Drake Kyudai]

The power from those explosions would have instilled fear in the less experienced battlers; Drake kept his composure despite the forces he was dealing with. In response to Jimmy saying that it was time for Zorvash to disappear, Drake gave a slight smirk to him in the midst of the explosions. "Right on cue," Drake responded. He held up his arm to show he used an ability card. Presumably, it had to have been Cryptic Shadow. As soon as the field of vision was clear, Zorvash was nowhere to be found in his physical form. He was moving along the ground as a shadow. 

"I disappeared like you wanted, Jimbo," Zorvash's upper half said. As he traveled along the ground, energy began emanating from him and scattered across the battlefield. Suddenly, thorn-like tentacles emerged from the ground. "Lets see how you handle Terror Zone!" Drake shouted. Some tentacles intended to restrain Heronix and siphon his power. The others lashed out at him instead. A few even launched debris in his direction. "We're going to pretend like you didn't just resort to that, 'buddy'!" the lower half scowled as the bakugan regained his physical form.

[Jimmy Kyudai]

Jimmy looked at Heronix being wrapped and hit by tentacles with a stern glare. He decided to ignore what Zorvash said, and pulled out another forbidden card, "Useless. Fusion Ability Activate!!" Jimmy shouted, "Grand Force X!!!" The ability that Jimmy activated was a Chaos Ability X as well, fusing with Demonotic Force X. Heronix's eyes then glowed red, and his power was about to rise to the maximum. His body was then surrounded in a glowing dark purple, as he easily freed himself from the tentacles. "This is how you fight with powers," Jimmy said, and then Heronix quickly flew up to the sky. With the powerful fusion ability Grand Force still active, Heronix continued firing blasts of powerful waves from his body at Zorvash.

Meanwhile, Xecarlos was astonished to see how Zorvash was able to fight back Heronix even though he was unstoppable with all these forbidden powers. To see if Zorvash would be able to survive the next move Jimmy makes, he began to activate the Transformation Chaosmode. "It's time Heronix, Transformation Chaosmode!!" Jimmy shouted, as his eyes flashed red, "Let the energy of chaos and darkness RISE!!!" Jimmy held up his arm. Purple aura and darkness flowed through Heronix's body, as he was about to complete the transformation. Soon when is complete, Heronix emerged from the surrounding darkness, and revealed his Transformation Chaosmode form, "Rise Heronix Chaosmode!" Jimmy exclaimed, as in Xecarlos' voice. With that, the Evil Jimmy's personality became more than aggressive due to the massive energy of Chaosmode, which he needed to stay focus in order to keep the transformation active.
