1. If opponent has prevented me from using normal abilities, can i use a normal counter to negate it or reflect? 2. I will discuss the 2nd if Keimaro doesnt have an answer. Suggestion:If (1) is no, i want to suggest this. A counter is a counter. Nothing can change the nature of a counter. I should be able to counter with a normal, as long as i am countering the effect.--It makes me feel cheated. Just imagine; everyone starts using this exact prevention and the victims waste their specials on countering when they have better things to do with their special(s). I am a victim. So also Kotetsu. Staffs and everyone, pls post your thoughts and lets conclude on the fate of this issue. The power is in our hands...

We literally have a rule in the rules that says the you always have a chance to counter. Here's an example : you already used your special and support weapon and the gate has been used. The opponent prevents you from using normal abilities, you would have no way of negating this if you already used your ways I negating.
