Episode 4: Unwanted Visitors

[Noland Hardy]

Following the abrupt conclusion to Noland and Tracy's battle, the duo was caught outside of the arena they were in prepared to avert the danger their lives were currently in. The school was on high alert of the enemy standing before them: Daniel Anderson with a sorcerer-like Bakugan and the demon Noland was quite familiar with. The appearance of those two instilled fear into many of the students who were obviously unprepared to deal with the threat; none of them were actually expecting something like this. All students and faculty were currently trapped within the confines of the campus thanks to the sorceress's shenanigans, so it was impossible to follow through with the evacuation order. The only remaining option was to fight.

Noland was disturbed by the fact that he was likely being stalked at this point, but he was more concerned with how the intruders would be dealt with. Since Daniel brought two Bakugan with him, Noland was not comfortable fighting by himself since the last encounter was enough of a hassle with just one opponent; the only remaining option for help as far as he was concerned was Tracy since she was near him at the time. He could tell just by looking at her that she was very uncomfortable with what just happened, and he could only do his best to sway her into fighting by his side in order to increase their chances of making it out of their alive.

Despite the training that they've done for the majority of the week, Tracy and her teammates were not mentally prepared to fight this type of battle. The sudden entrance of the Terrorist suddenly changed her entire thought process; she was battling a legendary brawler at one moment, and now her life is in danger because of inconsiderate folk like Daniel. Noland was beside her after he narrowly saved her from what would have been a quick meal if he hadn't intervened; he rubbed her back to try and get her to calm down, but knew that there was barely anything he could do after she witnessed this.

Drago was still standing strong after he fended off both of their attackers. He focused on both of his enemies to prepare for what was about to be a critical battle. Skystar was unfortunately sent back into ball form; however, she was spotted near Noland's location when they were leaving the building, so the Bakugan was quickly picked up and was on her way back to his rightful owner. "Tracy, I know you're probably going to be against this idea, but..." Noland was saying as he handed her Skystar, which he recovered off of the ground. "It would really help us all if we could battle together. I'm not too comfortable with Drago fighting against both of them by himself. That man over there is going to kill us all if we don't stop him, and you're one of the last remaining hopes for all of us. I can't force you to make that decision; all I want is for you to choose what you believe is the right thing to do." Noland took a quick look at his opponents to see if they were going to make a move, but he realized that they could likely attack at any time, so the decision had to be made as soon as possible. "What will it be, Tracy?" Noland questioned one last time.

[Tracy White]

It was a sad scene for Tracy as she would've been hit, but thanks to Noland, she wasn't. Her guardian bakugan, Skystar, was also sent to ball but she was picked up by Noland who returned her back to Tracy with a question. Immediately Noland was through with the question, a flashback was shown. Tracy had always dreamed to be a Justice Fighter since she acquired Skystar. She always felt that evil had to vanish from mankind and good should reign. When she was challenged by Tank, she accepted so that she can probably change his ways. Then, the flash back ended with Tracy shaking her head, while holding Skystar tightly in her palm. "I've always imagined myself being a Justice Fighter but I never imagined it this way. This is way too much for me and probably us to handle because the world's fate depends on us." As she spoke, her countenance fell, but the noises, screams and pain of the people around who were finding means to escape kept ringing in her head. She just couldn't let the voices go. Then, her countenance rose and she became angry. "These people are in danger and I can't sit here and watch them die. Count me in. If what this guy want is trouble, I'm gonna give it to him" She then spoke to Skystar saying, "Don't let me down, Skystar. The world's fate in our hands. Do me PROUD!" While enunciating 'proud', she threw the bakugan in with force. Skystar transformed into her ball form and roared.
"If you mess with these people, you mess with us. Are you ready, Drago! This guy and his bakugan needs to be dealt with!"
Tracy also threw Tigrerra at the scene where the innocent people were and instructed her to see what she can do. "I'll hold Gargonoid in case of incasities. You just do what I've told you" She said. "Noland, can you spare a bakugan to assist Tigrerra? She can't do it herself." Without waiting for his reply, Tracy became focused in the battle and commanded Skystar to charge at the evil bakugan. Skystar moved at the speed of light with her mace, ready for a devasting hit to the opposing bakugan and eventually hit the target. Smoke was then formed from the hit and Tracy, together with Skystar, watched and waited to see if the opposing bakugan was damaged.

Noland and Tracy were caught off-guard by Daniel. He used Sakura's Golden Wall ability to create an energy wall that sealed the whole area from the rest of the world. People were running in panic and despair helplessly trying to escape the area, but it was pointless. 
Noland and Tracy spotted a man in dark-blue clothes, mask and dark cape coming slowly towards them with a sorceress-like Bakugan on the left and a demonic Bakugan on the right side. 
It was Daniel along with Sakura and a demonic Bakugan Noland fought earlier.
Daniel was getting closer to Noland and Tracy when he suddenly stopped.
He looked at Noland and spoke in cold and dark tone: "So, it's the Hero himself...When hunter becomes the prey...tell me how does it feel?"
Dark Bakugan jumped in front of Drago and Skystar roaring and his acidic saliva was burning the ground below him. Some of the student jumped in the battle and summoned their Bakugans as well to help Noland and Tracy. 
Daniel looked at them and spoke: "Amateurs...quantity cannot beat quality..."
After saying that he swiped a card through his gauntlet and said calmly: "Checkmate...Ability activate! Burning Blue!"
Sakura rose her wand and used magic to form "freezing fire" in the sky which caused snow to fall all over the place quickly covering most of the area. Suddenly, Sakura pointed her wand towards students' Bakugans and launched "freezing fire" towards them. Magic attack wildly rushed towards Bakugans turning them all into ice sculptures. Sakura quickly rushed and pummeled all the sculptures with her wand turning them back to ball forms.
"That will do for now...your move" said Sakura and looked at Noland and Tracy allowing them to make their move. 
Daniel nodded to that and calmly said: "Now that pawns are out of the play we can concentrate on our battle, don't you think Noland?"
Sakura's attack had an after-effect; snow was falling wildly covering the whole place and freezing everything in the near. Noland and Tracy were feeling as they were on a North Pole, but refused to give up because of that as they knew Daniel was using the snow to make them lose their focus on the upcoming battle.

Noland's concern for everyone else was increased as soon as he saw Sakura defeat the rest of the students that easily. He already knew how much of a threat she was on the battlefield ever since dealing with her years ago. Her abilities in conjunction with that dark Bakugan's power was a deadly combo that had to be combated carefully. The attack's result caused snow to fall all across the campus which caused the temperature to drop. Fortunately, Drago was quick to respond to this by launching a stream of flames across the area, eliminating the snowy conditions entirely. "If you're done attempting to harm other people, I guess we can!" Drago retorted.


Noland glared at Daniel's persistence to cause him grief and was more than ready to end his spree. "You're going back to prison, Daniel. That's a promise!" Noland declared. He immediately pulled out an ability and activated it on his gauntlet. "Ability activate! Inferno Buster!" Drago flew into the air and unleashed a stream of compressed solar and Pyrus energy towards both of his enemies; he swept their entire side with the attack to cover as much distance as he could.

"Nice shot! Let's get Skystar incorporated into this, shall we." Tracy then gave Skystar a signal.
Try this combo on for size, losers! Skystar then jumped high and used her mace to shoot blasts of energy towards the two opposition, fusing with Drago's attack. Sparkling Field! She yelled, while shooting. As an added effect, Skystar landed on the ground with double layered armor covering, ready for their strikeback and stealth moves. "What! Is that what you got, Skystar? You're making me tired of you. I just can't believe you did just that!" Tracy began to nod her head in disbelied. "Let's just hope it does damage. I still can't believe."

Daniel ignored Tracy and Skystar and completely focused on Noland and Drago.He knew those two were the ultimate team worthy of fighting, so he continued with focusing his attacks on them. "Go ahead, Sakura! Ability activate! Crystal Sphere!" said Daniel as high-powered crystal barrier was formed around Sakura. Barrier worked as a magnet forcing Drago's and Skystar's attacks to redirect directly into Sakura's direction. Upon impact and a heavy explosion smoke cleared only to show that barrier was destroyed, but Sakura was unharmed.
Daniel looked at Noland with a confident look and said in a very cold tone: "I would highly suggest you not to hold back. This ability of yours was a bad joke rather than a true challenge."
He pulled out a card that started shining in dark-blue color and swiped it through the gauntlet.
Gauntlet started glowing dark-blue and so did Sakura. "Never send a pawn to battle a knight. This should motivate you to fight! Ability activate! Amethyst Wind!"
Sakura jumped in the air and created a magical wind that released millions and millions of cherry-blossoms all that covered the whole area and started glowing with a mysterious shine. Also, a wave of cherry-blossoms covered Drago and Skystar. Noland and Tracy looked at their G-power trackers only to realize that Drago and Skystar had their powers drastically reduced while Sakura had her power drastically increased.
"Belphenoid, your turn!" yawled Daniel and looked at Belphenoid
"Ability activate; Dark Genesis!" yawled Daniel as Belphenoid started glowing in dark-purple light and roared so hard that Noland and Tracy had to cover their ears. Then it launched a shockwave of pure, dark energy at Drago and Skystar. As wave was reaching those two Belphenoid spoke in his irritating, evil voice: "This is the payback for the last time, Dragonoid! Feel the pain!"
Sakura looked at Belphenoid, then at Daniel and said to herself: "This can't be good...not at all"

Noland watched as their attacks were reduced to being useless as Sakura's ability saved both her and Belphenoid from receiving a lot of damage. He ignored Daniel's remark about the ability being a bad joke considering that the ability used to defend against it was destroyed; he believed that if the attack he used was as bad as Daniel claimed it to be, the barrier would have remained active if his was something special. Nevertheless, Noland did not allow his opponent's words to deter him from focusing on the battle.

While Drago was airborne, he noticed that his opponent had begun spreading a substance that looked like cherry blossoms. He was covered by them, and could feel the power decrease taking place on his own body. "I see you still have your usual tricks, Sakura," Noland noticed. Suddenly, a dark wave was being sent towards himself and Skystar; unfortunately, he was unable to help Skystar out of that situation since he was too far away from her, but he used this opportunity to land a hit on them.

Noland slightly smiled as he pulled out an ability as he was reminded about Daniel's remark of not holding back; he would show Daniel what this will mean for him by Noland using abilities that he hasn't used on anyone up to this point. "If you don't want me to hold back, Daniel, you'll get what you asked for," Noland declared with a dark tone. "Ability activate! Evo Igniter!" Drago's entire body was covered in a crimson-colored veil. The objects on his body melted into ashes in mere seconds. With this power, he put his right hand outwards and intercepted the wave that was coming towards him, emerging unscathed and unaffected.

"The ability just made your power decrease a thing of the past, and it also just made Drago three times of a threat as you thought he was," Noland explained. Drago used his new power to travel at a blinding speed, appearing in front of Sakura almost instantaneously and landing a massive blow to her chest with a powerful punch. "Disappear!" Drago roared.

Drago was free from the cherry blossoms that engulfed him but Skystar was still struggling. It was as if the cherry blossoms overpowered her. This made her to bend on one knee, as her power was drained. Skystar felt weaker and weaker by the second and seemed to do nothing. "You can't just give up like this, Sky." Tracy said, hoping that Skystar would get up but Skystar didn't. "I'm sorry about the way I reacted to your previous move. I never believed you were of good to me ever since our match with Tank. Now I know you are special in your own way. Please, I'm counting on you." After Tracy spoke these words, Skystar began crying. It was the first time Tracy witnessed Skystar cry. Skystar, out of anger, picked herself up and let out a deafening roar while letting the things on her fall off. Finally, her roar was perfect. Now facing Belphenoid, believing Drago could take care of Sakura, Skystar initiated a move never done.
"You've made a mistake getting me angry, Belphy! You've messed with the wrong bakugan and now you're gonna PAY!!!" The sky began rumbling with thunder and lightning striking here and there. Skystar's mace turned into a magic wand. "You guys are not the only ones with magic! I am the owner of magic itself and anyone that tries to mess with my stuff must surely PAY! Lightning Finisher!!!" At the sound of the last two words, Skystar used her wand to redirect the lightning to Belphenoid and didn't release it. Belphenoid was screaming in agony. Skystar finally stopped the redirection and after this, she charged up another attack. That's for what you've done to me. Now avenging my partner, FUSION ENERGY PLUS!!!" Skystar released a forceful stream of energy, combined with lightning and electric gazers at Belphenoid. Now, there's no one to save you, Belphy!

Belphenoid was enraged that he was attacked by Skystar and started roaring so loud and wild that Noland and Tracy had to cover their ears again. He opened his jaw and hissed: "Hell Sphere".
Then he accumulated a sphere of darkness and fire launching it at Skystar's attack. Upon clashing two attacks canceled each other out, but Belphenoid was not going to stop there.
"You dare to touch me, filthy Haos lapdog?! I will tear you into pathetic little pieces! Blizzard!"
hissed Belphenoid while launching a blizzard mixed with Darkus energy right at Skystar.
In the meanwhile Sakura just stood up after a powerful blow caused by Drago recently. Daniel looked at Noland and Drago and then swiped an ability through his gauntlet saying in cold, dark tone: "Time to show your power of alchemy. Ability activate! Sakura Destroyer!"
Sakura raised her wand and yawled: "Powers of ancients, come to me."
Suddenly, portal opened in the sky and it started raining star-like crystal particles. These particles pummeled Drago and Skystar bringing them down to their knees. After a couple of seconds ground was covered with crystals which started glowing in a mysterious light. Light seemed to create some sort of gravity that turns all attacks towards Sakura giving protection to Belphenoid.
As Belphenoid is already advancing towards weakened Skystar this protection gives him superior chance of defeating her. And Drago needs to face Sakura again who has grown much stronger with this new ability of hers. Daniel looked at Noland and said: "I hope you like chess because...this is a check on you. Your move."

Upon the release of the crystal particles from above, Drago used his golden-tipped wings to provide some form of defense against the attack. It negated some of the damage, but the continuous pelting began to wear down his shield and eventually caused him to kneel after taking so many hits. Sakura seemed to be recovering from Drago's punch steadily, which caused Daniel to make a comment referencing both himself and Tracy being placed in a losing situation. Noland rolled his eyes at his foe's overconfidence, brushing it off as he did the earlier comment. "You talk too much," Noland boldly stated as he threw a card out on the field.

The card thrown made it to the center of the field and expanded, revealing that it was a gate card Noland threw down. He immediately held up his arm as he said, "Gate card, open! Incineration Field!" As the card activated, a streak of fire ignited and began to surround the borders of the card. A heat wave, which would be hotter to a Bakugan compared to the disaster here on Earth, immediately made its presence known in that vicinity and was able to be manipulated by Drago in any way he pleases; whether he wants to use it to form attacks or to engulf them in it entirely was completely his choice. Drago utilized the natural disaster to not only refine his power past his normal standards, but to sweep it across all of the particles left by the previous attack, leaving zero traces of the attack ever occurring. He then began to "wrap" Sakura and Belphenoid with a searing wave covering their entire field, burning them continuously until they are erased. "Check," Noland countered.

[Tracy White]

"Is that all you got, ugly?! 'Cos if that's all, you seriously don't know the death contract you've signed." Tracy then pulled out a card and placed it on her gauntlet, yelling, "Ability Card Activate! Sky Superior!" Spinning at the speed of light, Skystar formed a tornado-like mirror shield that was capable of reflecting incoming effects. "Darkus energy and haos energy, let's see the better one. Hit 'em!" The combined forces of the blizzards and darkus energy that was directed at Skystar came in contact with the shield and as it did, it directed itself back at Belphenoid. "Does tasting your own move feel good?! For your information, we're just beginning." Suddenly, crystals started falling down from the sky, just like the cherry blossoms. It began draining the powers of Skystar and Drago. Just then, Noland activated an ability which got rid of the crystals and surrounded Sakura and Belphenoid, burning them. "I always trust you, Nolly. Nice counter!" Tracy commended. "I wonder how Tigrerra is fairing. I gotta go help her." Just as Tracy wanted to look for Tigrerra, she thought of what might happen if she was to leave the battle. Then, she decided to stay and finish the battle but still worried about Tigrerra. "Ok, Gargonoid. I have a little job for you. I want you to go assist Tigrerra. Can you?" The garyole like bakugan in ball form agreed and Tracy threw him. In the air, the bakugan transformed and flew around the area, searching for Tigrerra.

Drago and Skystar used high-powered attacks to hurt Sakura and Belphenoid badly. Skystar launched an attack at Belphenoid who was enraged to be even touched by a Haos Bakugan.
He opened his jaw, screamed and released a darkness wave hissing: "Pandemonium Wave."
This attack erased the gate alongside with Skystar's attack and hit Gargonoid who tried to find Tigrerra.
Daniel was not observing that action as he was concentrated on Drago. He swiped a card and a cold breeze struck through the air. "Ability activate! Kongou:Illumina!" 
Sakura rose her wand and created a high-powered beam that soared through the sky before crashing itself into Drago's chest. Light engulfed Belphenoid and reactivated his dark wave, but at double power.
Wave struck both Skystar and Drago bringing them again to their knees as force was too high to handle.
Sakura then hit Drago in the face with her wand saying: "This is an answer to that punch from before, you pathetic winged lizard."
Upon doing it she jumped back by several meters alongside with Belphenoid.
Daniel looked at her saying: "Be on your guard. It's about time they make a move"
Drago and Skystar are now weakened; especially Drago who was struck down by several attacks.

Drago grunted in pain as he was struck directly in the chest by Sakura's Kongou: Illumina, sending him backwards a few inches while still managing to stand up straight. The situation was made worse as the ability also allowed Belphenoid to attack again; however, the attack's power was doubled. "This isn't good..." Noland griefed. Drago crossed his arms as the attack came near them, but the sheer amount of force broke through his guard and nearly knocked him over; he knelt due to the pressure being placed on his body when Sakura had the audacity to hit him in the face with her wand. "Drago!" Noland was becoming increasingly frustrated at the threat his opponents represented at this point in the battle, and while it seemed like they were falling behind, he knew both sides were taking heavy damage. Drago recovered from the attacks and unleashed a loud roar, and briefly said, "Spells are the only thing you can do, Sakura. Don't embarrass yourself by attempting to fight a physical battle." Drago said this to mock Sakura's swing, casting it aside as a mere annoyance rather than a detrimental hit.

Noland then initiated another attack to respond to his opponents in the same manner. "Ability activate! Chained Severing!" Drago spread his wings as they began to crackle with lightning. The amount of energy contained within was enough to rapidly fire the attack within a short amount of time. "You may have the magic, but I have the power!" Drago declared as he sent consecutive bolts of lightning to both Sakura and Belphenoid in three milliseconds, striking them repeatedly multiple times and even inflicting burn damage by the lightning's ability to heat their surrounding air to a very high temperature. "Tracy, I need a follow-up attack," Noland said.

Gargonoid was badly hit by the blast and fell to the ground with a thud. What's more, Sakura released a wave that weakened Skystar again. Noland was the first to reply back again. At the command of Noland, Drago charged lightning strikes at both Belphenoid and Sakura. The attack was great but Noland needed a follow up. "On it! I'll avenge you, Gargonoid!" She took out an ability and placed it on her gauntlet. "You are so dead! Ability Card Activate! Takedown! Immediately, clone of Skystar appeared. Skystar's strength doubled and now had the strength to stand up. At once, all Skystars charged at the opposing bakugans, continuos streams of energy. The attack of Drago and the Skystars did severe damage. "Hope you liked that, Nolly."

[Daniel Andersen]

Belphenoid was outraged that he couldn't defeat Drago. His payback for their first encounter was his goal, but Drago was simply too powerful for him. He started roaring, hissing and howling like a demon from the darkest nightmare. Then he hissed: "Demon Vortex."
His body was enveloped by darkness that worked as a magnet; all powers of all Bakugans that were on the battlefield and their attributes were sent to him. Drago and Skystar lost all their power and attributes which were transferred to Belphenoid. Sakura was no exception to this.
Daniel looked at the attack and yawled: "What the hell are you doing, Belphenoid?! Stick to the plan for god's sake!"

Belphenoid looked at Noland and hissed: "This is the end." He transformed this new power into a powerful kinetic bolt and fired it in the air. When bolt came to a certain point it exploded and created a shadowy eclipse that started expanding. In a matter of seconds hundreds of Bakugans came out of the eclipse and rushed down to the battlefield. 
Raids of wild Bakugans were consisting of demonic dragons, ghoul spiders and gargoyle-like demons.. Drago and Skystar had their powers drained and attributes removed, so they were an easy prey for raids of wild Bakugans.

Daniel looked at Sakura who also had her powers and attribute drained. He was outraged by a disobedient Belphenoid who only cared about revenge. Daniel whispered to himself: "He already crossed one line by attacking those students...and this is another line he crossed."
Sakura walked to Daniel and whispered: "Don't prevent him...cough...cough...he was the main reason of our troubles...In case we don't make it we can always blame him...cough..."
It looked like Sakura had a brilliant idea making Daniel interested in listening to it.
"Hmm...a bit cowardly, but it will do. Ability activate! Sakura Sorceress!"
Sakura was engulfed by light that healed her and allowed her to copy Burning Blue causing a freezing snowstorm in the area again. She was ready to battle again, but just rose her wand signalizing she waits for Noland and Tracy to make their move.
