Reeling from the hits Ahrangi dealt to both Gladion and Gorem, Gladion forced himself up to face down his opponent. "That tickled," Gladion taunted, but the cuts in his armor proved that the blow did much more damage than he let on. Gladion had looked up just in time to see the barrage of rocks Gorem launched at the four-armed bakugan. The sight of it gave Tank an idea.
"Give it all you've got, Gladion!" Tank yelled, grabbing a card from his pocket, "Special Ability, activate! Art of Battle - Air Strike!"
Gladion began to glow blue with power. Taking a running start, he leaped into the air above Ahrangi as the rocks hit him hard, causing serious damage. While in the air, Gladion grabbed his bow, and unloaded a barrage of arrows into Ahrangi, hitting true where he aimed, mostly in the four-armed bakugan's joints. The boulders launched by Gorem hit the arrows, pushing them farther into Ahrangi, causing massive damage.
In less than a second, Gladion strapped the bow to his back and grabbed the Claymore of Zeus, his flight arc peaking as he did so. Pointing the blade at Ahrangi, Gladion used his weight to send himself down towards Ahrangi, driving the point of the blade deep into Ahrangi's chest. Kicking off of Ahrangi, Gladion jumped back as he pulled his blade out of the Ventus bakugan. Taking a defensive stance, Gladion and Tank were pretty confident there would be a counterattack.
"Come on, basket case!" Tank taunted, "Is this all you've got?"

"Taunting only work against those like yourself. Again who failed to save his friends in need and let them die? I do not recall it was me. You are as weak as me. Arrogant fame-hungry moron with IQ being on scale of Siberia's temperature. Your importance to Resistors is just as same as being a shadow. Zero..." Makoto said to Tank before activating a green-flashing ability while creating a light that burst as an explosion through the area turning all the appearance green. "Ability activate! Savage Blades!" said Makoto during the activation of his ability making Ahrangi use his four charged blades making multiple slashes against his two opponents continuously pushing them back with immense force of blast waves. "Thousand Blades" Makoto said again while activating another ability. Ahrangi threw his sword in the air as they started spinning forming a large blade-circle rushing down towards his opponents. Upon making a contact a large explosion occurred making smoke rise and not revealing the actual damage done to two Resistors.

As the expolsion subsided, Gorem was revealed to not only have survived the attack, but he had armor that was the result of his Giga martyr. As a confirmation, Allen was holding up a brown glowing ability." My Giga Martyr won't break from such a pathetic ability. Now Allen, blast him hard."
" that won't be a problem. In fact I've been saving a special technique just for now." Allen smirked, as he had the perfect trap for the Ventus terrorist. He held up the two abilities that signaled his move." Dual ability activate! First off, Graviton Balistae."
With Gorem's hands placed in the position, energy begun flowing between them, gathering in the middle. More and more of it built up until it reached the level where he fired it off, and it took a arrow like shape heading towards Ahrangi. But unlike the other times he used the ability, his hands glowed with the same energy." And now ladies and gentlemen, time for the rabbit in my hat. Fusion ability, Graviton Triad." Gorem announced his new power, swinging his arms so they end in a horizontal v shape. Two more arrow projectiles arced towords Ahrangi, the three preparing to slam the Ventus bakugan down.

As the unbreakable wall he was, Allen made short work of Makoto's attack by shielding Gorem with Giga Martyr. Tank used another of Gladion's Weapon of the Gods abilities in secret called Weapon of the Gods - Apollo's Chariot. This called on a fortified chariot for Gladion to mount with two flaming pegusi that surrounded the contraption in a barrier to guard against the attack, giving Gladion the benefit of wielding the Pyrus attribute simultaneously with his Aquos attribute. Tank angrily scolded Makoto for ever having the thought of comparing himself to him. He dismissed the thought of being weak for making a mistake that he was fixing by combating the Terrorists. He countered Makoto's statement by referencing the fact that such a "genius" would attempt capital murder against the President and the Secret Service, follow Daniel around doing whatever he told him to do, and allowed himself to be controlled by Nero; although, the comments were made in a very vulgar manner. Gladion then commanded the pegasi to escort him around the battlefield as he continuously fired arcs of lightning using the Claymore of Zeus as well as having the pegasi bombard him with fireballs following Allen's attack.
Makoto knew he was being placed in a losing situation, so he decided to pull out his ace. He activated the gate card Time Return. This made Gladion skid along the ground at the unexpected disappearance of his chariot. Makoto then took this opportunity to use his most powerful ability, Arashi Sword Dance. Ahrangi held out his four swords to prepare for the assault. Green energy covered all of his weapons to the point where the swords themselves could not be identified except by their handles. They stayed true to the shape of the swords, but extended the overall length of them so each could cover exactly ten feet. This same enhancement extended to his metal wings when they were covered by this same mystical energy, allowing them to cover larger distances than before. Ahrangi jokingly noted that this attack can easily kill a Bakugan with just one swing before beginning his merciless rampage.
Allen quickly responded to Makoto's intent to kill by using Fault Switch, allowing Gorem to slam the floor as fast as he could to immediately close the gate card and replace it in his own likeness. The gate card was then opened and revealed as Monolith Broken, which rose an ancient city up that utilized advanced technology, which released power throughout the area in the form of a shockwave. This would become Makoto's bane as it negates his massive power increase, decreasing Ahrangi's power to the point where Allen was comfortable attacking him offensively with Megalith Boxer. This clad Gorem's fists in swirling brown energy. He charged the approaching Ahrangi and, with one well-aimed jab towards the center of his body, completely shattered the weapons the Ventus Bakugan was armed with and landed a very heavy punch to the gut. This left Ahrangi open to a violent slam by Gorem that left a crater on the floor. Tank was really impressed by the way Allen dominated Ahrangi and was left speechless before Allen gave him the signal to finish Makoto off.
The amount of damage dealt by Gorem was enough to already declare the battle won in their favor, but that wasn't enough for Tank. He felt like Makoto needed to be taught a lesson, so he proceeded to activate his Weapons of the Gods - Warhammer of Ares. Gladion forcefully took the hammer, approached the incapacitated Ahrangi, and began ruthlessly battering his entire body. He then picked Ahrangi up off of the floor, threw him up, and swung at him as if he was in a baseball game. He scored a direct hit into Ahrangi's skull, sending him flying backwards at Makoto so that he could be hit by Ahrangi's body. Makoto was hit by the defeated Ahrangi as it returned to ball form with numerous cracks. The amount of damage he received forced him into sealing himself due to being critically injured. Tank approached the severely injured Makoto and mockingly asked him how that entire scenario was for someone who was supposedly weak before Gladion attempted to kill him using his hammer.
Gorem immediately knocked the hammer out of his hand before he could complete the swing. Astonished, Gladion demanded to know what Gorem's purpose was for stopping him. Gorem responded by informing him that answering darkness with darkness only made them just how they were when they were chipped by Nero. Tank asked what made this situation any different from the times of old when he was fighting the Terrorists and aliens alongside Noland when Makoto is a menace to society as all of their opponents were. He also asked why he would deny him the opportunity to finish off part of the behavior that resulted in the death of John. Allen made it clear to him that all the Resistors have ever been about was to resist, which meant standing up to threats that would otherwise go unnoticed or ignored out of fear. He noted that none of those instances ever resulted in him, Noland, or Alana being referred to as cold-blooded killers. He pointed to Makoto to stress the fact that he was unable to pose a threat to any of them anymore. Not wanting this to result in a conflict, Allen asked a thought-provoking question. He asked whether Tank would kill Makoto out of protecting the world or would he murder him because of spite and become just like him. He noted both were two different actions and that it was either one or the other.
Makoto began provoking Tank despite his injuries by mocking him of his inability to follow through with what he's planning to do. Tank looked at Makoto for a brief second before noticing a silhouette of John right beside him shaking his head in disapproval. This made Tank reconsider his objective, but kicked Makoto in the head to knock him unconscious. He then began dragging him out of the room by his feet to mirror the way the now deceased worker was being treated by the Terrorist very recently. Tank apologized to Allen for almost taking the law into his own hands. He silently commended Allen on the way he personally incapacitated Ahrangi, making him realize that Allen being equal to Noland wasn't just a saying after seeing someone stop an attack as powerful as that. Allen cracked a smile after seeing Tank beat his hatred and began to walk behind him until Nero's forces abruptly charged into the room with their Bakugan ready to go. Gorem picked up Gladion's hammer and tossed it to him. Tank asked if Allen still had it in him to go one more round. Allen nodded in acknowledgement and stated that he'll defend while he attacks.
