"So are we, Gorem..." As Skystar voiced her displeasure with the Pack putting a strain on their defense, she understood that Allen being the "Iron Juggernaut" didn't mean he was invincible. Even the power of three Dharaknoid Bakugan were proving to be a real menace to his power, and it was showing with the strain it placed on Gorem. This was an ongoing problem that will continue to get worse if the Pack were allowed to continue their ruthless behavior, and it was unknown if Nero had anything in his arsenal of abilities that were worse than what they were being put through now. The only method she could rely on is using Gorem's defense as their offense. Whatever that meant to her, she knew something had to be done with the diversion to create an opening to attack. "You know what, Nero? I think a shield just stopped your attack," Tracy sarcastically stated as she revealed two cards. "I wonder what else your pompous ego thinks we can't do. Double ability activate! Shooting Star Dive plus Judgment Arrow!"
With Gorem's shield up, the opportunity for Skystar to do some damage was as essential as it was timely given that the barrier wouldn't last much longer. "You Dharaknoid make me sick!" Skystar spat. She jumped over Gorem's head to point her staff towards the shield. When she did this, a transparent energy wall was being sent in that general direction. She descended to the shield at an angle to push against it. This provided enough force to forcefully push Gorem's shield forward, smacking it right into the Pack's ugly faces to end their attack. When she landed, she rebounded backwards to cast Judgment Arrow. She applied lightning to the staff's ends to provide a bow for her to use. She called on three lightning-enhanced arrows that she would aim and shoot at all three Dharak's in order to restrict their options in battle. "Just for the record, Abbadon, I'm a strong, intelligent woman that can handle herself in a battle. Thank you very much."

Nero knew he was right in believing that Allen could not stop his attack. The only flaw in that directive was that the boy stopped it temporarily as he struggled to maintain the integrity of the shield, indirectly helping Nero even more. Unfortunately, and as always, he had friends. Tracy used the shield as a weapon to deal a heavy hit against the Pack, which stunned them for a moment. This was enough time for Tracy to initiate another attack that he was already aware was a technique that could play a massive role in his defeat if he were to allow that to hit any of the Dharak. "Yes...you are, aren't you?" Nero acknowledged indirectly with a question. "Ability activate! Westwall Shield!" Belphenoid, Abbadon, and Asmodeus created a giant, circular shield in front of them that took all three of Skystar's arrows at once. Once they were dispersed, Nero pointed at Tracy to say, "You got lucky with that reversion, but I won't make that same mistake with this one. This time, you'll all burn!"
Just like Tracy did before him, Nero revealed two cards for the Pack to use that was more painful than the last consecutive abilities. "Double ability activate! Shadow Burner plus Exodus Waver!" The Pack linked their powers together once more to perform another combo attack. They transferred their individual power into a large orb that formed in the center of them. Belphenoid then added more energy into the attack for his Shadow Burner ability. Once the charge was complete, the three of them exhaled to push the giant orb of darkness towards their opposition. Once it covered a certain distance, it dispersed into multiple laser blasts that had the Resistor's and their Bakugan in the killzone. Once each blast hits their designated target, the explosion would be catastrophic not just in power alone, but by the dark flames that would consume their victims just as Torahu's Amaterasu would.

Nero unleashed a attack that Allen wouldn't be able to block outright. So that made his only option to survive the attack and hope that the rest of the resistors can make a counterattack. Allen pulled three abilities in order to do this." Gorem, we are going to protect everyone else. Triple ability activate." Allen said, begining to unleash his final defense. If this didnt work, the resistors were going to be on a rocky hill." Goliath Fortress, Giga martyr. Finally fusion ability Grandios Bunker."
Gorem created the large rocky creature that went along with the first ability. Then Gorem's armour pieces begun to cover him, as well as become a much harder metal. The difference this time is that the rock spawn also gained a metallic armor. Finally, Grandios Bunker became active. This transformed the armor that he had into a diamond coat that covered both him and his spawn. Then they both placed themselves in the way of the lasers that would strike the resistors." Sorry Nero. But this isn't going to stop them. And I'm making sure of that." Gorem shot out one final quip before the attack would strike him.

"So will we," Tracy quickly responded after Gorem bravely used his body as a shield for all of them. She pulled out an ability card that would allow Gorem to take the hit much easier rather than potentially risking his health in getting them out of the situation. That was her role after all. "Ability activate! Illumina!" This was an ability that hasn't had a stellar entrance in a very long time. Due to her evolution, Illumina was a technique that had enough power to keep up with a defensive genius like Allen. Skystar pointed her staff towards Gorem as she began accumulating large masses of Haos energy. It took on the form of an orb that surrounded her entirely, which, by extension, covered Gorem and his Goliath Fortress spawn as well. The orbs gradually shrunk until they disappeared, and what was left in their departure were Skystar, Gorem, and his spawn covered in a flowing yellow energy. "Brace yourselves!" Skystar called out to her teammates. Nero's attacks made powerful impacts on Gorem and the Goliath Fortress. As this happened, the dark flames from the Shadow Burner ability dispersed on their bodies. Fortunately, Skystar's energy took the brunt of the blows, so they were able to take the attacks despite receiving some damage as well as survive the black flames through Skystar's link; however, the strain from making sure Gorem didn't get burned by the attack placed a significant strain on Skystar that brought her to her knees.
"I don't know...how much more of that we can take..." Skystar wheezed. She violently slammed the ground with the bottom end of her staff as she used an ability on everyone's behalf. "Ability activate! Divine Protection!" Tracy shouted with utmost concern. Skystar covered herself and her allies with a phoenix avatar that began to rapidly heal them of their ailments as well as give them a shield to use for protection in case the Pack were to do something else that neither of them could block in due time. "That was close...way too close. As much as I hate being negative, I don't think we'll survive another one of those." She revealed one more card of hers before shifting the responsibility to their powerhouses, hoping that they'll be able to do what they couldn't do. "How's that for luck, idiot?" Tracy disrespectfully asked Nero. "Double ability activate! Sentinel Automation plus Arc Caster!"
Skystar detached her disc blades on her shoulders and had them move around autonomously. At the same time, her staff received a rising flow of electricity that became potent enough to surround herself in an electrified barrier. She sent the discs towards the Pack and their army. She then zapped both of the discs mid-flight to transfer the power over to them, which allowed the technique to be used all the way out there where Skystar couldn't safely go to her on her own. This established a link between the discs that made an electric line connect the two. They then used each other's momentum to spin around in a giant circle to slice through the army all at once as well as electrocuting anyone caught in between. This motion surrounded the discs in an electric circle that pulsed with the power Skystar had.

Nero chose to ignore Tracy's remark since her attack posed more of a threat to him than the name she addressed him by. He swiped an ability across his BrawlX extremely fast since it seemed like he was in danger of being hit by the attack himself if the attack pierced through the Pack. "Well...this is not going the way I was expecting it to..." Nero admitted in his mind before playing the card. "Ability activate! Dragon Skin!" As Skystar's discs were closing in, Abbadon fortified his body with hardened magma that increased his defensive measures. Utilizing this new power, he charged straight for one disc. He passed through the electric barrier without any noticeable damage and swatted one disc out of the air, which sent the other disc off course into the nearby wall. "Yeah...like Barodius just said, it was all luck. That was far too easy to break," Abbadon declared after landing on the floor.
Nero knew that launching another offensive on the scale of the previous three attacks he launched might be detrimental to the Pack's overall energy reserves, so doing that another time wasn't an option since he couldn't guarantee Allen and Tracy stepping in as their shields again, which would automatically hand him the loss if they manage to survive it. While he did manage to push the majority of his opponents over the edge, it seemed like the Dharaknoid were not in much better shape after handling that many opponents. The most logical approach for him now would be to emulate Allen and Tracy in terms of their defensive measures, and that's exactly what he was going to do. "I never expected to be pushed this far by mere children. You're more stubborn opponents than I previously realized," Nero openly admitted. "Despite me viewing you as a prominent threat, remember that this project has been in development since you were in diapers. The Terrorists couldn't halt this progression, and neither will you."
The Pack's army regrouped around them all as soon as Nero was ready to declare his next attack. As he previously considered, he was going to take a more reactive role in the battle. This was his best chance to escape this battle with a victory. With that in mind, he swiped his card on his BrawlX, only using it for one Bakugan while the rest stood by for defense. "Ability activate! Soul Render!" Upon activation, Asmodeus geared himself for another attack. He unleashed a violent screech that tore apart the area they were in every passing second Asmodeus made noise. This would cause a massive drop in their opponent's power levels due to the sheer amount of power he was exerting through it, which would force his foes to come to him rather than going to them.

"Gaaah! Not this again!" Ahio whines, landing down onto the ground and using her wings to cover her head which was being shaken by the high frequency. "This is even worse than before! Seiki-chaaaan! You have that one ability, right!? Please tell me you do!"
Seiki sighs as she pulls out one of the cards further back in her deck, the one that she didn't think she would have to use, but had on hand just in case something with Ahio and high pitched frequencies occurred once again. She got it so the bird wouldn't drop her while they were flying in the air like what happened a while back with the same pack member blowing them out of the skies, but it looks like now would be a good time to use it. "I have that card, don't worry. Ability Activate, Anti-Beat!"
A sigh of relief came from the beak of the ventus phoenix as she does a single twirl where she was, the purple tips of her flight feather started glowing and sending out a frequency to cancel out the effects of the ability that went by the name Soul Render. "That's better, now it don't feel like my ear are going to blow up and my brain will fry into a raisin." She chirps as she glares at Abaddon with her lightning blue eyes that looked like they were glowing before going back to her rather 'childish' ways. "You know, I'm glad my brain didn't fry. I can still process the thought process to ship you and Noland. Ship name: Noleki." She snickers as Seiki's right eye twitched in annoyance.
"Do you really think now is the time to be shipping people?"
"Of course. Any time is shipping time."
"... So I can ship Abaddon and eternal sleep?"
"Ehhhh ships don't sail that way."
Seiki huff and crosses her arms, "Urusai! Stop getting me into your stupid shipping ships! It's not like any of your ships are going to gain a cannon anytime soon and do any helpful damage." Her amber eyes, still filled with annoyance, glances over the field. "Ahio just won't do... If we're going to beat them down then..." She turns to face Noland and Karen, "Care to do a Unison attack?"

"Did he really just call him...Barodius?" Noland asked out of astonishment of anyone being heartless enough to have that name come out of their mouths after what he was responsible for or the fact that Nero was considered such a person to the Pack, which was a very accurate depiction of his actions so far. Considering all the energy the Dharak's have used, it wouldn't be a shocker to anyone if they were choosing to take a less aggressive stance on the battle after four out of seven brawlers in the group managed to fight him off by combining their power. With that said, the only smart option while Nero is vulnerable is, from Markus's perspective, to attack them while they still could. This role was perfectly fitted for Noland, and he was more than ready to have his say in this fight. "I guess that's our cue to finish this fight. Let's end this, Drago!" Noland said as he grasped his BrawlX. "Ability activate! Hyperstrike!"
Drago made a loud war cry as he got ready to get involved. "You've had this coming for a long time, Dharak!" Drago used the diamond on his forehead to conjure unstable energy. This technique was a universal one that can be used by any part on his body, but for the occasion, he opted to have the attack used through his mouth. He flew upwards as he prepared to acquire his target. "Let it rip, Drago!" Noland called out. Once Drago found out where he was shooting, he shot the pulse towards the center of Nero's battalion that, once it reaches its destination, will expand to cover a wide area. He was hoping that when this blast connects, the entire army the Pack called upon several turns earlier would be obliterated in one shot, leaving only the Dharaknoid to be dealt with. "It's up to us now, ladies. Hold nothing back, and watch each other's backs."

Karen was holding in her anger throughout the entire battle after Elico's horrible death. She was primarily focused on avenging him rather than working together with the Resistor's. While this seems like a very selfish gesture, that didn't throw away her ability to realize that teamwork was essential to stand up to the Pack. The synergy between them all was admirable, and now she was being asked to do the same with them despite betraying them earlier. Noland's final comments on the elevator ride helped her get over this somewhat, so she wasn't too concerned with what he thought of her at the moment. Since they asked for her assistance against Elico's killer, who is she to not comply? "Alright. Noland, I'm ready to attack when you are," Karen called out. "Montai let me borrow Horridian to avenge all of our friends who were fed to the Pack by this monster. It would be a shame if I ever showed compassion for Nero after what he tried to do me and what he did to them. Mark my words. He's going to pay."
Once Noland began his attack, Karen activated an ability in unison with him to form a combo attack per Seiki's suggestion. "Now's not the time to bother with your feelings for him, Seiki. I believe the enemy is more important..." Karen said with a slight hint of jealousy. "Ability activate! Deadly Nightmare!" Horridian stretched his muscles briefly before beginning his attack to make sure he was absolutely primed for the battle ahead. Once he was done, he charged a blast in all three of his heads, jumped into the air simultaneously along with Drago, and shot three streams of energy towards Drago's attack. Horridian's attack combined with Drago's to make the attack even more dangerous. Once it struck in its desired location, it expanded, destroying everything in its path.

Nero rolled his eyes after hearing Karen referenced what he did to some of his disloyal employees to cover his own tail end once he discovered what the Pack wanted to do to him. The way he treated Elico was also not a concern to him given that it was mostly done as self-defense with the latter treatment being awarded to him as payback for betraying as well as sending a message to the Resistors about how serious this situation was. Regardless of those hate messages, they managed to nullify his ability and sent a very dangerous attack that was provided by a Bakugan that could very well rival Hydranoid in power, Drago. His attack was boosted by Horridian, a Bakugan belonging to his former assistance, Montai, and he was a very savage Bakugan that could be compared to Hydranoid in terms of their attitude in battle.
Their attack proved to be a menace as it obliterated his entire army in one shot as well as inflicting dangerous levels of damage to all three of the Pack members. Knowing that this battle was beginning to slip away from him, Nero attempted to figure out a possible way to do the same amount to his opponents before it was too late. "You won't take me..." Nero grunted as he gritted his teeth. "Ability activate! Evil Multiplication!" After the Pack returned to their feet slowly with numerous bruises on their bodies, they glowed in a dark aura as numerous Pack Bakugan began stepping out of their bodies in a disgusting fashion, revealing that Belphenoid, Asmodeus, and Abbadon had used their energy to create multiple copies of themselves just as they did in the battle against Noland before he ran.
"Stay down this time for me. Ability activate! Gehenna Maximum Striker!" Every single Bakugan on Nero's side utilized this ability to cover themselves in a tainted cloak that would triple their respective power levels as well as offer them a source of protection. With this power in their control, they charged towards the Resistors in a variety of directions. Some preferred the normal approach by running towards them on the ground while others chose to crawl on the walls before pouncing on their opponents. Regardless of what they chose to do, each one had significant power that would inflict large-scale damage very easily in a matter of a second provided that everything goes according to plan.

"You expect me to stay down on the ground?" Ahio asks as she watched in slight horror at what looked like some scene from zombie movies. "How about- Nope!" the bird chirp-shouts she she leaps into the air, swiftly avoiding a pounce from a few of the pack copies. She kept herself somewhere in the middle of the place, far from the floor which was being swarmed with demons, and away from the walls which the demons could apparently climb on. "I have wings and I intend on using them." She shoots a glance at Seiki who nods in response.
"Double Ability Activate, Bolt Tempest with Cry of the Wind Phoenix!" Seiki says, followed by, "knock 'em back down! And try to make sure that they don't come back up will ya?"
Ahio summons a bunch of storm clouds to decorate the top and lightning strike the many pack clones as she gives of a screech, similar to Asmodeus' screech but with a more "ear popping with the side dish of brain sizzling" effect. "This is why you don't interrupt me in the middle of a shipping rant."
"Do you seriously care for your ships this much?" Seiki murmurs to herself with a small sweat-drop running down the side of her face, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.

Noland was surprised that the Pack still had this much energy left in them to multiply into that many clones of themselves after fighting a somewhat lengthy battle with seven opponents. Their cloaks from their technique seemed to make it worse. Unfortunately, he wasn't Allen, so the rest of them were on their own when dealing with this many Bakugan at once. He was more then prepared to handle the enemies himself anyway. "We've been taking you since the beginning of the battle, Nero. No amount of Bakugan will change the fact that you're losing," Noland said as a response to Nero's mumbling. "Ability activate! Dauntless Spirit!" Drago let out another loud war cry as he powered up with one of his signature abilities. He covered himself in a dark-red aura to show his increase in raw power output, enabling him to move fast and strike hard. Similarly to Gehenna Maximum Striker, this ability also acted as a shield, which effectively cancels out the opposing technique's harmful effects.
As the Pack neared him, Drago patiently waited until they got close, and then made them pay for ever thinking of crossing his path up close. He punched, kicked, and tail swiped through many encounters in the scuffle to fend them off. As a final token of his appreciation for the Pack's stupidity, he launched a powerful punch in their direction to send a wave of energy towards them, knocking them all backwards and severely injuring them. "Still feel like the battle's easy, Abbadon?" Drago gloated to counter Abbadon's cocky attitude throughout the entire brawl. Noland then swiped another card through his BrawlX to continue their momentum, not wanting to give Nero an inch to get away considering the real Pack members were still heading straight for him. "Get out of my way, Dharak. Ability activate! Incinerator Bash!"
Drago charged himself with a fierce flame that surrounded his entire body. Once he did this, he took flight and headed straight for the incoming Belphenoid, Asmodeus, and Abbadon. He intended to take them all on at once using his enhancement from Dauntless Spirit, which is a risky venture in itself; however, Noland was confident that if even Drago couldn't break through them by himself, Karen would have his back. At the very least, that's what he remembers from the first tag battle they had back at the Sports and Learning Complex when they started to get to know each other. This was a necessary move regardless if she lives up to his faith in her or not since the Pack were coming in too fast for Noland to declare any other attack, so clashing with them was the safest option rather than leaving himself open. "Karen, the ball's in your court," Noland signaled.

The amount of Pack Bakugan approaching Karen and Horridian seemed just as plentiful as the ones sent for Noland and Seiki, which meant that she had to hold her own weight for the time being. "No worries. Double ability activate! Wolfed Shield plus End Guardner Alpha!" Horridian erected a purple shield around his body to protect himself from the barrage of attacks. The Pack recklessly bashed into the barrier and eventually managed to break through; however, the smoke created from the energy-enhanced tackles clouded their visual perception of Horridian's location, which made it seem like Karen activated the defense ability as a gateway to a more devastating offensive. "Looking...for...us...?" There were noticeable pauses in Horridian's speech, but once the smoke cleared, it was obvious why it was. Horridian was split into three separate bodies, a feat achieved through the usage of one of his deadliest tactics.
"End Guardner Alpha is an ability that separates each head into three bodies of equal power to the original, which, in simpler terms, means that your petty cloning is useless, Andrew," Karen fired back. "Ability activate! Mangler Claw! Rip 'em apart!" The Horridian's were each amplified in a purple aura as their claws and senses were sharpened. This enabled them to narrowly avoid any compromising hits from the Pack as they sliced through as many as they could, leaving the thee original members left once Noland and Seiki were finished dealing with their opponents. The originals targeted Drago specifically in the midst of the confusion, leading him to counter with one of Drago's physical attacks. Noland called out for her assistance in beating them in the clash once they made contact. With a smile on her face, Karen happily offered her help.
"Coming," Karen chimed as he swiped an ability. "Ability activate! Force Screw!" The Horridian's surrounded the Pack before launching this attack to get a clear shot since hitting Drago with it may cost them the battle. "You...are...finished!" The Horridian's conjured a purple energy sphere in their mouths and shot them at the Pack. The resulting hit did not result in a damaging blow to their bodies. What the ability is intended for is rendering defensive options useless for as long as Horridian can maintain that energy on the target's body, which wouldn't be long due to how much power they have. He did it to decrease the effectiveness of the shield they had, which gave Drago the edge he needed to beat them in the clash and sending them flying across the battlefield. "Anything else you want to say we won't do before we prove you wrong again?" Karen mocked.

Horridian's interference played a huge part in the reason why the Pack lost the clash with Drago and were forced backwards. The impact added even more damage to their bodies, which left them in a bad situation. Although they got up pretty fast from being deflected, they were damaged enough to make one more hit from the Dragonoid enough to actually defeat them. Nero was fully aware of the circumstances, and he didn't want to admit any more than he already has. The only remaining option before he has to change his agenda is to launch his most powerful attack in hopes of knocking all of them out in one blow. Neither of his opponents had the defense needed to survive an attack like this, so it was a logical step in the right direction if he hopes to avert an untimely defeat. "That's it...now I'm really mad...You know just as well as I do that what is going on here is for the benefit of mankind after suffering through numerous hardships yourselves, and you know who's to blame; yet, you stand there and fight against their own destiny as it has been from the very beginning. Why!?" Nero asked while preparing his BrawlX for the activation of his attack. "You've already pissed me off by continuing to meddle in my business, but I refuse to allow you to make a fool out of me! I will erase you here and now, Resistors! Prepare to die!"
He gathered the strength necessary to perform his ultimate attack, and then released it. Ultimate ability activate! Westwall Gazer!" Belphenoid, Asmodeus, and Abbadon combined their power once again to unleash their most powerful attack in their evolved forms. The power they were amassing literally shook the area they were occupying. Electricity was overflowing through their fur as a large orb was forming in the center of them. Once its formation was complete, the Pack released all of that power as a giant, electrified beam of energy that was wide enough to cover the entire width of where his enemies were standing. "Even if it means I have to demolish this facility to take you down, then so it shall be. I will bury what remains of the Bakugan's hope and will spare the populace from the long, tyrannical reign of these weapons of mass destruction!"

The power from Nero's usage of the Pack's ultimate ability had enough force in its vibration to nullify all of their abilities, which meant that Drago's power enhancement was as useless as Nero's threats. "Incredible..." Drago commended with shock and disappointment. "He's not the only one that can be intimidating with his power levels. If that's how they want to play, then we're upping ours as well. Noland, it's time." Drago got in a stance to muster up a lot of strength to contend with their ultimate attack. It was a signal for Noland to power up also, and that he did. Without questioning his plan of attack, Noland clenched his fists as he glowed in the bright rainbow color everyone was familiar with by now. This energy unlocked his high-tier abilities that, with the proper technique, will be able to bring down the hammer of judgment on Nero and his foul Bakugan. "There's no need to list all of the things you've done that brought us all here against you, Nero. You can sulk in your own madness all you'd like, but it will never measure up to the wrath of the people and the Bakugan you've shamed."
Noland unleashed a rainbow-colored card and swiped it on his BrawlX. Once he did, his left fist became ignited in this concentrated energy. "Ability activate! Genesis Supremacy!" While he was in the air, Drago became deeply concentrated on this attack. Lightning bolts struck around him as he gathered a lot of energy towards the center of his body, forming a gargantuan-sized orb on par with that of the one used in Nero's attack at chest-level. "The only beings who the populace absolutely requires to be spared from is you and these Dharaknoid Bakugan. I don't care who you've lost or what you've seen. When you lay your dirty hands on the peace innocent Bakugan and their partners shared with each other just because of your own problems, that's where you cross the line. Paying darkness back with darkness doesn't produce light! You know that!" Drago finished the charging of his energy right around the time the Dharak's completed theirs. He looked his enemy in the eyes one last time before spreading his arms outward and unleashing the terror of an attack towards his enemy's, forming a clash that began shaking the ground and ceiling. "In the names of Markus's sister, Seiki's family, John, Steve, Kendrick, Elico, Vince, Alana, and so on, I WILL PURGE THE DARKNESS!"

Seiki's mood had taken a 180 at the mention of her family, amber eyes narrowing in pure anger towards what has happened. "Seiki! Keep your head in the game! Time for the Unison Attack!" Ahio chirps, butting right through the girl's thoughts.
"Yeah." Seiki says, gritting her teeth together and clutching her hands into a fist. "Time for some incantations." She steps forward, removing her headphones from her ears and having them rest on her shoulders. "I who stand in the full light of the heavens-"
Ahio, knowing fully well what to do, continues the incantation, "thou art where the gate to the Underworld opens, come forth, divine lightning!" A teal dome appears, engulfing the whole room in the color as the rest of the place grew dark.
"This is ends now!" Seiki pulls out a card with some strange markings engraved onto its surface which glowed with the same teal color as the dome. "Ability Activate!"
"Indignation!" The two cry out together as a very powerful bolt of lightning comes down from the skies and fuses with Drago's Supreme Genesis attack which made it... Well, very very powerful.
