For a while now I have always thought I used a certain effect with peace of mind. But after noticing a particular thread, I realised my thought was false. To be specific, I'm referring to the usage of restriction/prevention effects. Well, I noticed that Noland said I copied one of his effects with the effect in question and I'd like to say that I honestly didn't.
I couldn't find a cool way to put the effect other than what I used for it. Maybe the way I worded it came from the battles I've participated in which is totally not my fault since I usually create things from experience - I tend to create things from what my brain can remember or what it has witnessed. The effect popped into my head in a match which I can't remember where I couldn't really "paralyse" my opponent. I just thought that if I could prevent them from using 2 things at a time with me deciding which things, I could really do some damage. This is when I created something like "Prevent your opponent from using 1/2 thing(s)," and "Use a restriction effect." I was even unsure when I created it but was shocked to see it approved. Then, I attempted to copyright it since I didn't recall seeing it anywhere.
So, I began using this effect and saw that it was effective. Later, I found a cooler way to put the effect after thinking hard. I then changed the effect to "Apply 2 restricting effects on your opponent," since I am actually placing the effect on them. I know I've attempted to create effects which had already been copyrighted but like I said earlier, I tend to create out of what I've witnessed but can't vividly remember.
Since you, Noland, actually think the effect is based off of one of yours, then you're free to restrict me from using it. I can always think of other effects if I work harder.
